261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: rx 480 is 24 mhs on: July 07, 2016, 07:12:44 AM
Memory @ 2200MHz? Are we still talking about 380x?
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: r9 280x eth mining on: July 05, 2016, 06:34:21 PM
Yes, it's possible on stock clocks.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BTC PRO Motherboard issues on: July 05, 2016, 03:43:51 PM
As said above slot is probably defective. Had this problem with Asrock Anniversary. What kind of risers do you use?
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon released RX 480. (Card is Released) on: July 02, 2016, 10:45:12 PM
That all problem is because of 6 pin, why didn't they simply put 8 pin and voila? RX 480 had to compete with gtx 1070, so if 1070 has 8 pin then why 480 doesn't?
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon released RX 480. (Card is Released) on: July 02, 2016, 10:01:11 PM

480 needs new bios. That is something windows update doesn't offer so they need to offer software fix.

480 needs to be replaced with a proper 8 pin model asap, new bios will not solve design flaw.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v4.7 (Windows/Linux) on: July 02, 2016, 09:43:18 AM

The Nano's are fine with 6pin pcie because thats all they need, unlike the 480s which it seems really should have had an 8 pin.

But Nano's are reference design 8pin pcie. Are there boards with 6 pin only?
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon released RX 480. (Card is Released) on: July 01, 2016, 05:02:14 PM
I will wait for 8 PCIe pin version. Reference design does not looks reasonable in terms of heavy usage, more like "look ma only 6 pin".

Fans on that cooler are PWM controled, there is 4 pin connector, so there should be an option to control fans speed via software. Unless fans are connected to the 12V and GND rail only (from for example molex connector). Interesting case.

Can you control fan speed on that card with other software (Sapphire Trixx)? If not it's highly possible there is something wrong with the card itself. What card model are we talking about?
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v4.6 (Windows/Linux) on: June 26, 2016, 05:44:27 PM
in my .bat file, my fan's setting are "-tt -100" but for my GPU0 aren't take into account.
For GPU1, is good but not for the first.

If you use -tt to set specific temp target, for example -tt 70, does it works for both GPUs?
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Buying New GPUS on: June 24, 2016, 04:02:04 PM

Can you tell me more about this bios. Do you happen to have it or a link as i have yet to find much about it.

I think you are looking for this one: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B2XVfIhkHZlfcVR0QzhlQlhJYTA&usp=drive_web#list
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v4.6 (Windows/Linux) on: June 24, 2016, 02:31:11 PM

Ahh thanks , another question since you seem to know a bit about windows, i have no password on my boxes and for some reason

because of that i cant have the miner start on login using a scheduled task since it needs a secured account.

I also tried adding the shortcut to startup folder but it still wont start , same goes for MSI afterburner windows 10 refuses to let these apps load on startup.

I don't remember encountering issue like this one before.
Are you logged on local account as administrator? Have you tried to enable the administrator permissions on the Compatibility tab when using shortcut?
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v4.6 (Windows/Linux) on: June 24, 2016, 11:27:17 AM
This is because of WinDefender, turn it off or add miner folder to the exceptions list. It should not be deleted again.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: rx 480 is 24 mhs on: June 23, 2016, 06:40:18 PM
18 Mh/s seems a little low. What with Memory @ 1500 MHz it should be ~21 Mh/s.
With 5x 380x i am able to achive 700W from the wall when minning ETH, quite happy with that result   Smiley
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: rx 480 is 24 mhs on: June 22, 2016, 10:41:56 PM

30 380x ? you made a mistake on those the 380 mines at same hash rate as the 380x and is cheaper bro

But 380 are voltage locked and 380x aren't.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Power supply for 6x R9 390 on: June 14, 2016, 04:21:37 PM
just undervolt to -100mv, and you will be fine with 200w max for each of those 390, so a 1500 will be enough
But there is still not enough pcie connectors.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v4.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 12, 2016, 09:57:11 PM
Could someone please post 390 wattage mining ETH only / dual with DCR? (stock and undervolted would be best)
ETH only: 235W
Dual: 275W
Both undervolted
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which GPU to purchase with $200 for Ethereum mining? on: June 09, 2016, 06:57:31 PM
I would say r9 380 or 380x.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v4.4 (Windows/Linux) on: June 01, 2016, 07:11:24 AM
Isn't -mport -3333 doing that?
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to undervolt MSI r7 370? on: May 31, 2016, 11:00:23 AM
I tried to edit bios with vbe7 and flash card with atiflash. I set lower voltage and higher clocks and flashed card with no problem. The weird thing is power consumption did not changed at all. Msi r7 370.
