asi its possible to flash RX 470 to be seen as 570 i dont think you are right.

Maybe it depends on card model. I tried with asus strix oc 4gb elpida memory. Is the 5 card ok but the 6 card wont boot a Windows only thing? or has someone ran 6 in Linux yet?

I noticed this today, i can get to work only 5 of 6, 570GPU with the latest AMD driver.
I think i will flash to 470 vendor and stay using 17.1.1 relive.
Just flashed 570 with 470 bios. It was successfull, but i can't install pre 17.4.3 drivers. 17.4.3 can be installed, but after that card is still recognized as rx570. Probably hardware id realted issue. https://i.imgur.com/moDOY1C.pngLong story short: NOPE |

Does anyone have Gigabyte RX570 Gaming 4GB ? I can get those pretty cheap but I'm wondering about hashrate and bios mods, seems like stock has 7ghz memory, probably similiar to sapphire nitro 470s ?

For atiwinflash: > atiwinflash -p 0 -f Elesmere470.rom Use cards that are very similar in design, for example asus strix 470 -> asus strix 570. To be honest i have no idea if card flashed like that will work properly. On the other side, if you can flash 470 with 570 bios, then 570 with 470 should be possible too. <fingers crossed> |

Not possible on windows. Works fine on linux (SimpleMining OS).

Once 4G enabled it works fine with 4 GPUs, boots up with 5 with issues (slow to detect) and 6th card in it crashes (BSOD).
I have exact same problem, 17.4.3 drivers, z270 chipset. When i plug 6th card in it crashes reboots. In theory flashing rx570 with rx470 bios should allow to use older drivers and run more cards. |

I have verified this works for me 3 times now. I only still can say this works on RX cards, I started trying to use AMD Furys when I began this process, but gave up on this mobo and used them on something else.
Did you also tried to run it with 7 rx500 cards? |

It's not limited in linux, but it's limited in cards bios. You need to increase max mem clock in there. |

Hello, Claymore. Please fix the problem with mining musiccoin on r7 370 2gb. When the miner leaves for devfee, it can not create dag file, because 2 gb vram.
It won't work unless Musiccoin will be added to the devfee mining pools, the best you can do is to turn on "-nofee" |
