Someone please where can I dowload a bootstrap file for this amazing coin?
Using a bootstrap.dat is no longer recommended (Unless it's an old coin). Viacoin uses a new faster-synchronization feature. ‘headers-first synchronization’: The Viacoin Core Beta wallet first ask peers for block headers & validate those. In the second stage, when the headers have been discovered, the Viacoin wallet downloads the blocks. However, the wallet already know about the whole chain in advance, the blocks can be downloaded in parallel from all available peers. |

it sounds good. I still buy some coins today. it's quite cheap now . It seems it's being down because Bitcoin and Eth are rising up much higher. Yeah not only that. I'm familiar with the trading community. People also dumped their altcoins to FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) Zcash today. |

Alright I have a crypto meetup friday.
I will be busy for a few days programming for Viacoin after friday and trying to concentrate on the last optimizations.

Lots of steps on the roadmap are completed and will be included in Viacoin Core 0.13.2 https://github.com/romanornr/viacoin/tree/0.13-devI'm working with F2Pool to do the last optimizations for Viacoin segwit mining (he gave feedback today on the code). I think we will signal in a few days and off course release the Windows binaries for the wallet (new Viacoin wallet release). Lots of steps of the roadmap are completed but lets wait on F2pool. After that I will send you a PM about the next steps included Lightening Network & Anon transactions. |

While we wait on F2pool to signal Segwit..
Viacoin getting added to FUpool was a very, very bad move. Diff went through the roof making it unminable for avereyone exept them & now you have to wait for them to give you the go-ahead to move forward. Goodbye decentralisation..... Why do you talk like I made the decision & had the power to add Viacoin to F2pool ? Viacoin has been on F2pool since 2015 and I wasn't the dev at the time. It's never the choice of the dev. A mining pool has the choice to add a coin. I can't help that they added Viacoin to their pool and also think Viacoin is a good coin. We can fire the miners if they do where we as the users don't agree with. Like using UASF BIP8 to activate Segwit. |

I'm still waiting for segwit or lightning happens but it seems we have not seen any actions relative to segwit or lightning from Dev.
I hope this action should be done soon and this project will rocket into the sky.

But a small update
I'm waiting for F2pool Wang Chung to update his Viacoin node & mine a block. If that works, we can singnal for SegWit.
Btw I am ready for the Viacoin lightening network. I know how to do it.
Also Anon payments like Stratis (which is based on TumbleBit).
Styx was also based on TumbleBit so now TumbleBit is in C# for HBitcoin, so I can do it for Viacoin !
Haha except for auxpow, I figured out this whole Roadmap solo!
Yeah I think I can soon complete the entire roadmap... As in this year most likely.

He will compile the new Viacoin Core 0.13.2 (Segwit) within a few days!
He's right now busy upgrading his ethereum infrastructure.
Viacoin SegWit will be next.
