So can someone wrap this up in a nutshell?  New lead developer took over  viacoin development essentially because of its listing already on polo.  What is the future goal of via?  Sorry if its been laid out before but someone just turned me onto via and am looking into it.  Thanks

I have just invested 4BTC today into Viacoin. I see very similarities with Bitbay. Both devs could have started a new coin and created a ICO creating 1000's of BTC but they have stuck at it and now starting to see their hard work rewarded.

This wallet is stable but mining pools only shouldn't use it yet.

Faster Proof Of Work validation: The SSE2 optimization is around 50% faster than non-SSE2 Proof Of Work validation on 64bit and 2.3x on 32bit non-SSE2 in theory.

But for now this feature is only available on the 64bits versions. (Yes it's implemented in this Beta wallet)
