261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin future on: October 31, 2017, 09:33:33 AM
You need to find the right altcoin in right time. Otherwise you can lose your money. Don't buy at tops and don't sell at dips.
Patience is the key for trading and investing in crypto currencies.

Adam1230 is 100% right. Timing is cruicial, and you need to pick good one. When I start getting into crypto I picked
few different coins, NAV, BlackCoin, Dash and Quark coin. Last one was scam with a lot of hype.

Diversity in your portfolio in a way to go. Try 60% invest in BTC and 40% in ETH plus one or two from TOP 15 Coinmarketcap. This first 15 coins are popular because they keep their promise, have regular updates and active community, that why they are so high in rank.

262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any good ICO there? on: October 31, 2017, 07:05:44 AM
The top ICO for me are OMG, EOS and Golem. You should make a good research to decide what is the best invest for you.

Don't forget there is a project far more sophisticated than GOLEM direct competition SONM (Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining) Right now there is a lot doing on with development and team have alpha version. I think is one of most undervalued projects out there.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Acquired ICO tokens/coins on: October 30, 2017, 08:58:10 PM
So, what are you planning to do with your recently acquired tokens/coins from investing/bounty ICOs?

I participated in couple ICO's recently, and my plan is follow development progress of each project and keep my Tokens. If you watch price and check updates frequently you can easy decide which ICO is worth investing more, which is good to keep and whitch one is better to sell. I follow around 10 projects from high risk (Monetha) to stable one (SONM) You must know investing in ICO is far more risky that Bitcoin. With BTC you need to buy and keep that's all on other side with ICO you must pay far more attention.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] MONETHA - Decentralised reputation with built-in payments on: October 30, 2017, 08:09:47 PM
They can list in 100 exchange, the price will just go down. There is no reason for anyone to buy this coin

wrong assumption... more exchange will bring more exposure of monetha coin and volume
which will increase ranking in coinmarketcap

Yes, and no. Monetha was #74th position on Coinmarketcap without Binance and Kucoin exchnges. What really makes me worried about Monetha is how price can go down each week. How can you sell Tokens with loss?! it just doesn't make sense.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING.. BEWARE OF ALL E COINS! (eBTC, ELIXIR, ECASH) BEWARE OF TROY! on: October 30, 2017, 10:08:57 AM
Queen_Amber is right about there is something fishy going on with this coins. I joined AirDrop on one of them - Ethereum Blue (SCAM), I left my details (email and forum name) Next day I could not login to my account, password and email details was changed. I had to contact Bitcoin Forum Administrator in order to recover my account.

This warning  is LEGIT.

266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why to many airdrop on: October 30, 2017, 08:36:58 AM
It's a quickest and easiest way of distribution, unfortunately almost always connected with SCAM. Basically it's to lure investors to buy after hits exchanges and pump&dump after that.

Be extra careful with giving your details, if you really need make sure your passwords are strong on email and forum passwords can't be the same.

My forum account was hacked within 24h after I participated in AirDrop, that was first and last time I joined AirDrop.
Strongly not recommend.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs that do not promise the earth.. on: October 30, 2017, 06:07:46 AM
From what I heard Tezos have some internal issues between co-founders. I know one person that in fact invested in Tezos. I heard too late about Tezos and I don't have  Tokens. Higher risk comes with higher reward - each project is different. I know one ICO that did nothing wrong, and they are active with weekly updates and
still current price is below ICO and it's bleeding.

Until there is no law legislations related to Inicisl Coin Offerring anything can happens and there will always be some scam project - even after law is in place.
268  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How are you calculating and keeping track of profits? on: October 29, 2017, 01:50:57 PM
For keeping track in crypto I use Blockfolio, very good app for general purpose. I am not trading every day, so pen and paper is fine for me for notes I can check in small notebook anytime. Balances I also put on excel spreadsheet. I put extra rows information like: Circulating Supply, Total Supply, Rank, Market Cap and few other details - this help me invest in more promising ICO. If you intererested how it looks in Excel I highly recommend you to check you on YouTube: Ian Bolina, he is a great guy to watch and learn, and also he have complete excel spreadsheet that includes all possible information about new crypto.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one? on: October 29, 2017, 07:33:25 AM
If you invest in Bitcoin you have guaranteed future, other versions are not that popular yet and no one knows what will happen later. It's like PayPal tomorrow decides there will be few more other PP payments: PayPal2.0 , PayPal3.0 and so on. It's risky to say that updated version will have better future. Stick with legit like Reid said.
270  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Is NiceHash a legit pool for mining? on: October 28, 2017, 11:38:46 AM
Nicehash is legit, they use over 30 different algo to mine in real time, so always most profitable wins. I mine  using this website for some time now, never had any problem, there is emai notification when something goes wrong - miner off line etc. Most important is very easy to start and setup, download setup file and install. Run benchmark and you ready to go. Highly recommended multipool. I mine with 2GPU and 8 Core AMD CPU. Electricity is free for me.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Wait or Invest On Bitcoin? on: October 28, 2017, 09:37:34 AM
Bitcoin price rises significantly recently, so good strategy will be wait and choice right moment when the price drops 300$-600$, easy to spot just watch price. There is a rumour about Amazon that will accept bitcoin as a payment like PayPal. If this is true price will rise significantly again. Someone said any time is good, I agree with that, just wait for a good moment and invest small amount first, why? to get familiar with the technology, blockchain, how to use wallet etc. so you make sure you didn't make mistake sending your btc to the wrong address. Mistakes like this happen every day.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed Bitcoin Transaction Stuck Up (How To Fix ?) on: October 28, 2017, 07:37:25 AM
i have just send some bitcoin from an exchange this is the first time that the transaction gets to long until now i did not receive it 3 hours ago anyone know how to accelerate this ?

Try to wait few more hours, some transaction confirmation can take a little bit longer, sometimes up to 24h and more (very rare but It's possible and yes I did happened before)  Hopefully you will receive your btc by end of today.

You can use this service if you wish accelerate transaction: https://pushtx.btc.com , https://www.btcspeedy.com , https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator

If you still have problems let us know.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: October 27, 2017, 04:00:05 PM
It's 850Mil Token project, for me ICO prices those days look very expensive/overpriced calculated to profit creators not owners. I remember, investing 200$ in 2015 in NAV coin could bring you 70K profit in 2017 on peak, what I mean is Total Token supply of NAV was 61Mil and it took 3 years to reach 2$. For 200$ you could buy approx. 33K coins, that you could easy sell for 1$ = 33.000 $
now uTrust cost 0.065c and you need around 250.000 at least to have profit = 16.250$ this is just example how hard became to invest in crypto since cold calculated ISO took pace instead coins.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulated ICO, should this become a norm? on: October 27, 2017, 03:05:44 PM
ICO should be regulated there is no doubt about that. Right now there is so many ICO's coming every day is almost impossible to know which are real or scam. I've seen people get scammed sending Ethereum to wrong wallet address just because there was a message on the forum, email or chat. Later you can check this fake address how many ETH was send and it's not pocket change - believe me. Some set of rules must be done, there were too many projects that basically steal money, and it's not ICO's only, on Kickstarter too, I remember there was a portable console that was looking too good to be true, some drone startup company that collected millions and didn't deliver the product.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [VIB] Viberate | Decentralized Music Talent Marketplace on: October 27, 2017, 01:13:15 PM
Btw soon expect rise ... i am happy. I am sure we all will be happy.

Why?

VIB is one of this projects that holds values since ICO which is good, it shows that investors recognise its value and they hold tokens instead quick sell and wait for price to drop (market manipulation) I think what DXB2017 tried to say is now is a good time, Bitcoin fork attracts owners to sell other cryptos in favour of BTC, and right now all alt's are down, regardless how good they are.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] MONETHA - Decentralised reputation with built-in payments on: October 27, 2017, 11:47:11 AM
Some of us purchased Monetha just after ICO, no one knew that time that this Token will crash like this. I think best option now is wait, don't buy because you can burn more fiat unnecessary, if MTH price rise, we can at least sell but buying now is more risky than buy ETH clone token, because this tokens always get pumped and if you have time to watch price you can make some profit. I was very positive and enthusiastic about this ICO, no more. I wait until price drops to 0.03$ - 0.02$ in order to buy more. Most ICO's value drops now, but monetha is bleeding very badly.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin supply cap meaningless on: October 27, 2017, 09:54:33 AM
So can someone explain what the difference is between a fiat currency with no supply cap and a crypto currency that has a supply cap but is infinitely divisible.

The difference is fiat currencies are controlled by the government and have no real value because they not backed 100% by gold. If you can print more money value is decreasing and inflation goes up. Bitcoin has total supply and is not free to "print" like fiat, more people in future will want to have or use btc - value will rise.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country banned bitcoin? on: October 27, 2017, 05:35:05 AM
I think some countries banned Bitcoin in fear that can or will compete with their own currency. For some governments implementing Tax on Bitcoin can be a difficult task and more expensive than banning.

List of top 10 countries that banned Bitcoin is: Bolivia, China, Equador, Iceland, India, Russia (Gov. is working on legislation) Sweden, Thailand and Vietman.

280  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be Taxed...... on: October 26, 2017, 02:49:45 PM
This is interesting could be a mass following with this. South Korea is preparing to Tax bitcoin use after the cryptocurrency's trading volume sky-rocked. This could spark a new trend is everyone battles to see how to control the life of cryptocurrency's

Not only South Korea, Russia is preparing to Tax, Poland have already Tax in place when you withdraw your Fiat from Bitcoin you need to pay Taxman 18%, USA, Canada, Denmark, Sweden and UK are Bitcoin-friendly countries.
