Hey are you still around? Really, let's make this SHITCOIN <-> ASSCOIN bridge happen.

I may have bumped this thread too. I'm sorry about that. Well, not too sorry. The amount of shit on this board requires a turd like this to be floating on top.
I still have some SHITCOINs with your name on it... They are yours any time you agree to do an advertisement for it.

Coinjoins aren't custodial, so there's no funds they can seize. The Feds are only able to access the data of Samourai's users since their wallet was designed to collect xpub addresses and IP addresses by default.
As if it wasn't possible to use it over Tor since 2019, or a VPN. Taking shots at your competitor even after they have been extinguished -- the kind of class I would expect from you. Besides, nobody cares so long as you weren't sending money to North Korea-related or other watchlist addresses.

If it wasn't spam, but a genuine onboarding process of new users, these discussions and ideas wouldn't need to exist. The only ideas that would be valid would be ways of scaling.
That's the thing though: these are new users being onboarded, and they are "genuine" as far as the network is concerned. Until all miners collectively decide to reject their transactions (which will never happen), Ordinals (and now Runes) users can't be stopped. I guarantee these are still just passing fads though and nobody will care nearly as much about them a year from now. They will have just left a lot of blockchain bloat in their wake, and there's no way to stop it.

DOGE is under a massive dust attack! ! ! Based on the current 1 DOGE price, less than 0.1 DOGE must be set to dust. Minimum transfer out 0.1 Minimum change 0.1 Transfer fee 0.1 Reject coins below 0.1 DOGE written to wallet.dat Reject coins below 0.1 DOGE from entering the mempool
Its not a "dust attack", its Doginals activity. Can't stop 'em unless all the miners collectively agree to reject such transactions. I usually spend about 0.15 for a tx fee just to make sure I get some kind of priority. Its still only 2 cents.

Quoting this from another thread which recently turned 10 years old: For me, these types of tokens are the funnest to try to collect: https://xchain.io/asset/BOMBUnfortunately the only one for sale via dispenser is too expensive -- it gives it a market cap of $774,660,335 or 11,645 BTC, because the supply is so high. Still, its an early part of Bitcoin history. It has nothing to do with art or jpegs. It is just a "first of its kind"-type of token use case, which I think gives it some value as a collectors item.

That's the thing: there is no JPEG ownership, it's meaningless! It only "means" something on a made-up system, which only means something to the few people who are in on it. To the rest of the world, it doesn't mean anything. And on top of that, anyone can claim "ownership" of any image, with or without having the rights to do so. It's a scam.
You're right, with Ordinals there is no proof of ownership on-chain -- it is only enforced at the Ordinals protocol level. With Runes, which I haven't really looked into, supposedly the proof of ownership is on-chain, although I don't know how it works. There was a saying by Joe Looney, an early Counterparty user, wallet dev & former Rare Pepe Scientist, "the token is the art." A lot of famous Counterparty "NFTs" (quotes are needed because most are actually fungible) don't have the artwork attached to the token at any level, or the original image-containing URL it pointed to on-chain is broken. Doesn't affect the price or collectability of the token in any way. https://xchain.io/asset/RAREPEPEWith Counterparty, the token itself is the art; the art is merely a representation of the token. With Ordinals, people are basically just collecting dust, which is why I never got into it. Runes is basically a more crude, expensive & better-marketed Counterparty AFAICT.

Wrong, they did not try to give it to me as they tried to buy me, remember? and if not, please read again
They tried to buy you by giving you the money you demanded? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fy.yarn.co%2Fba3990d9-e088-4516-8f40-2d48beccc5d9_text.gif&t=663&c=SGyHqmc4d-2EdQ)

How? You mean like joining the madness of paying $400 for a dust transaction, and then selling that same transaction to a greater fool for $4000? That doesn't sound like something I'm willing to embrace.

In the last 3 days, 294,000 SHITCOINs have been sold... when this dispenser finally runs out, sky's the limit for the world's oldest shit token (named SHITCOIN). ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftalkimg.com%2Fimages%2F2024%2F04%2F22%2FjKuBo.png&t=663&c=oPjopi6wzH6qyw) Why on earth would people buy this you may be asking yourself. Well the answer is simply really: - Shit tokens are all the rage (for better or worse, like it or not)
- There is an emerging class of collectors of old blockchain assets
- SHITCOIN is the first meme token, on the first memecoin
- Its still at a relatively low market cap compared to some really shitty shit tokens launched even last week
- If Dogecoin really takes off (i.e., gets integrated with X ala Elon's hinted plans), people will want to own this early part of Dogecoin's history.
.Its gonna happen; an inevitability, one might even say. There's no stopping this shitty train.

Bitcoin continues to do exactly what its supposed to do, without fail. Although the debate goes back all the way to 2011 or so, and we're just rehashing a 13-year-old argument, any transaction that is valid and picked up by a miner is a legitimate bitcoin transaction. So stalwarts who stay mad have two choices:
1) Continue to cry about how jpeggers and/or devs have "broken bitcoin," or 2) Embrace the evolution of what bitcoin can be used for.
PS: staying mad isn't going to change anything.

We had 3 games yesterday (winners in bold):
Memphis Showboats vs. St. Louis Battlehawks (17-32) DC Defenders vs. Birmingham Stallions (18-20) -- Stallions move to 4-0, best record in the league Michigan Panthers vs. San Antonio Brahmas (9-19)
Tomorrow's game:
Arlington Renegades vs. Houston Roughnecks (2:00 pm EST)
I think the 3 options for the PAT make the games a little more exciting as it adds in a new element of strategy not possible in the NFL. Games can suddenly become a lot closer, leads can change more quickly, and what seem like easy wins can easily be blown by going for the additional point(s). Gonna make an attempt to watch a full game for the first time tomorrow.

I don't think they are intelligent. An intelligent person will never live a life of a scammer. He will find a way to bring bread and butter in a legitimate way so that the business can sustain for longer term and make a positive impact for him and his family.
Most scammers are indeed smooth-brained and low IQ, but a few cases stand out as deviations from the norm. For example, Bernie Madoff comes to mind. In his case, though, everything started out as legitimate, but after he stopped being able to produce genuine returns for his clients, he decided to turn full scammer, just taking the funds from new clients to pay the old. Madoff is indeed simple an exception to the rule. The whole thing reminds me of a quote by theymos: scammers are often pretty stupid

Please check also the Scam Accusation thread as Blackjack.fun owner still owes me 30 USDT ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) They tried to give it to you and you refused to accept it, remember? Stop with the false accusations. You can drive their representative away from the forum, but you haven't managed to put a dent in their reputation. Your own reputation, however, has been destroyed due to your constant bullying & blackmailing. Not a single person that you've interacted with in this thread or the other takes you seriously. All this over 30 USDT ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Clearly this person is trying to extort something larger from the casino and we aren't getting the full story.

This guy is still at it -- just found him by doing a search for "my last update". Now he slightly tweaks the post to make it first person, adds unnecessary punctuation & whatnot, so the detectors don't detect them. Not sure if this first post was reported or not but lets try it again: Manlikefrank1Post #1 As of my last update in January, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies were not explicitly illegal in Nepal. However, the Nepalese government has not provided clear regulations regarding their use or legality. Due to this lack of clarity, the use of Bitcoin remains in a legal gray area. While individuals in Nepal may buy, sell, or hold Bitcoin, they do so at their own risk, as there's no legal framework to protect cryptocurrency users. It's important for individuals in Nepal to stay informed about any updates or changes in cryptocurrency regulations that may occur. Despite the uncertainty, Bitcoin continues to be traded and used by some individuals and businesses within the country.
As with any investment or financial activity, individuals should exercise caution and conduct thorough research before engaging in cryptocurrency transactions in Nepal.
Copyleaks: AI content detected Hive: 100% likely to be AI generated Sapling: 100% fake Post #2: This is serious topic today we need to address a pressing issue: the misuse of taxpayer funds by our government. Instead of prioritizing projects that truly benefit society, some officials are squandering resources on frivolous endeavors aimed at personal gain. It's time to hold our leaders accountable and demand transparency in every financial decision made on our behalf. We must ensure that every dollar allocated is used for the betterment of our communities, not lining the pockets of the corrupt. Let's stand united in demanding integrity and honesty from those entrusted with public office.
The people deserve better than to be swindled by those in power. It's time to put an end to these wasteful practices and restore faith in our government. We must remember that our voices are powerful, and together, we can demand the change we deserve. Let's hold our leaders to the highest standards and ensure that every project serves the public good, not personal interests.
Copyleaks: AI content detected Hive: 100% likely to be AI generated Sapling: 100% fake Post #3 (after 2 small tweaks this post comes back as AI-generated); Omo As of my last update in 2022, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not illegal in Indonesia. However, the Indonesian government has imposed certain restrictions and regulations on their usage and trading. It's always a good idea to check for any recent updates or changes in regulations regarding cryptocurrencies in Indonesia., but it can bought in fait rate in their currency and be sold but not use a major exchange in the market.
It is also worth knowing that bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency which simply means that, it can’t be controlled by a centralized system and as such it can still be bought through some p2p which most exchanges offer now, and all you have to do is look for a reliable exchange in Indonesia, and try using their p2p services and that’s all. When engaging in this p2p we should be careful of any thing third party in this situation because of security issues and all that.

Today marks the 10th anniversary of this account! I don't know why I chose the name nutildah, other then it was a reason similar to what theymos stated at one point about choosing his name: its never been used before as a name, so it really only refers to one person in specific (and this has proved to not necessarily be a good thing internet-wise, probably for either one of us, lol). Just thought I would share that information here rather than opening a new thread about it. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftalkimg.com%2Fimages%2F2024%2F04%2F20%2Fj5GI5.png&t=663&c=ULKSvIGVcxpd1w) I was pretty active between 2014-2016, then I took a break for most of 2017, came back in 2018. Had one more gap in 2020-21 but am now here to stay. Uncle Nutildah ain't goin' nowhere. This forum remains an integral part of my online existence and reputation, and I will continue to contribute here until my fingers don't work anymore.

Simply stunning. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftalkimg.com%2Fimages%2F2024%2F04%2F20%2Fj49YD.png&t=663&c=5gMPIKdfD1jTKA) I'm sure the whole Runes thing has something to do with it as well, but that will die down in a month or two. Hard to really assess the impact in drop in hash rate yet, need another day to let things unfold before coming to any conclusions. Halving Day... the same day my Bitcointalk account turns 10 years old 🎉

These days, or right now specifically, I'm not sending anything if the fees are more than 10% of the amount being sent. So yes Bitcoin is rendered impractical as a currency for small-scale pricing. That may change yet again, though. Really miss the days of 7 cents. If we could get down to about a dollar for next-block inclusion, that would be good enough for me.
Instead I find myself using Dogecoin & Litecoin more frequently -- fees are almost nil so sometimes it makes sense to do a conversion, especially if an exchange is gonna charge you an arm and a leg for withdrawing BTC.
