261  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax system slow to adapt to digital economy’s rise on: January 14, 2016, 01:18:52 PM
Hey, let's not complain!
It will not last though. I've read many articles about how the taxmen are finding ways on how to properly check and tax all the people getting a little income from Uber or Airbnb. Income in BTC will be much harder to tax happily for us.

it will be impossible, when bitcoin will be adopted on a large scale, they can not track anyone who is using bitcoin directly, especially for small thing and especially if done in real life with someone else that want to avoid tax and he is selling used stuff

Even now and with fiat they can't do it, they are shooting us with lot of tax from stupid things that nobody understand why we need to do that... with bitcoin will be near impossible, but dont worry, they will try to find a way to do that... the question is what we (the bitcoin users) will do Wink...
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here has made a lot of money from bitcoin? on: January 14, 2016, 12:59:52 PM
I can think only in 3 ways to do that:

  • Being an earlier adopter (for sure)
  • Being a good trader
  • Being a professional scammer LOL

Btw people should not worry to much about it, bitcoin is on an earlier stage yet Wink

265  Local / Servicios / Re: OpenLedger - ¡Su propia generación de ingresos DEX! on: January 13, 2016, 05:51:24 PM

Awesome, also someone must be crying because of that, i can't avoid it and translated this info to the spanish thread too xD

Thanks mining it Wink

Welcome to this awesome community+coin, you will not regret it, i'm sure about that.

268  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: January 08, 2016, 04:52:37 PM
From a natural evolution viewpoint, the likelihood of one of your ancestor using a weapon to save his life or the life of your great great grandma, contributed greatly for you to have a philosophy right now.

Agree with you, that's why we need to learn about when to use it, as i said, an evolution..., hunt or have some fun, nothing more...in the end is not about gun control, is about education.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Name the Year You Became Aware of Crypto Currency on: January 08, 2016, 03:17:49 PM
I remember at the end 2009 when i had some small online business, one friend of mine told me to accept bitcoins for some items that i was selling... nah, we decided that we want fiat instead of bitcoins...obviously this was a bad decision...

Now back to 2014 the same friend and me, start to getting involved with bitcoin.

That is a painful business opportunity you missed there.

Although, you probably wouldn't have kept the bitcoins anyway, you may have jumped on the wagon earlier than you did now.

I decide to don't flagellate myself anymore by thinking on it again and again, but yes, you are in truth.

Btw i'm pretty sure that we have yet a great opportunity, bitcoin just born....
270  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: January 08, 2016, 03:12:50 PM
What would be your ideal set of laws regarding firearms?

i have a philosophy, ask yourself, for a natural evolution, guns are really needed?, people should stop thinking about what governments want and start to think about how to make this world a better place to live.

From my point of view, guns should be just for getting some fun, nothing more.
271  Economy / Economics / Re: Block reward halving and BC price on: January 08, 2016, 03:06:57 PM
Even if im pretty sure that the price will raise i will not care about the halving, what has to happen will happen, but don't forget that bitcoin is not alone in the world there is a huge economy behind it, bitcoin will have a great success after the halvin just because of that, at least IMHO ofc Tongue
272  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2016, 02:59:28 PM
The halving will be really good for bitcoin, will be a really important step and we will see how the price value will be increased, HW company miners are aware about it and they didn't stop by releasing more and more HW, why?

The price will raise and it will equilibrate the economy of the bitcoin, at least IMHO, in the end, what is expected, will happen.

273  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin mining proof-of-work over the last 6 years as we move to 1 exahash/s on: January 08, 2016, 02:45:00 PM
if you think about it, the hashrate it the real measure about the real trend of the value of bitcoin

i mean the hashrate paints perfectly the average increase of the value since bitcoin is born, without all the p&d that occured

i think exactly the same, people tend to forget that side from the bitcoin world, there is so much fiat money invested on mining and more will come with the new chips, there must be a correlation between hashrate and bitcoin value.

The last increments from the hashrate it is having repercussions ATM and more will come, is just a question of time Wink

276  Economy / Economics / Re: The new dark age on: January 07, 2016, 09:23:17 PM
Friends

Prepare for a new dark age. Today the JPY trades at 117 which is a signal we are in for a big big crash.

The era of the USA is finally over. Soon the western world will self destruct and we will enter a new dark age.

The future is here. AS western civilization self destructs over the coming weeks and months let us be thankful we are alive and have each other to keep our positive momentum going.

Maybe this could become another strong moment where btc gain value and popularity among users...
Why trust a "bank" that print money and limit you account ?
I think we are entering in a new age, where btc could be one of strongest tool for this time.

that's exactly what i ask it to myself everyday , along the ages, there is something in people that makes them forget, never learn and try to build something better...let's hope that this time, is the time for the change with our lovely tool, the bitcoin.
277  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-01-07] Sneak Peek at Bitcoin's upcoming killer app - Open Bazaar on: January 07, 2016, 09:15:45 PM
I'm pretty sure that this "tool" the Open Bazaar will change lot of things, i'm so impatient to see something really working 100%, in the other side, there will be some guys who will regret for sure Tongue, ty for the article.

Now let's spread the word and share it on some social networks, good things need to be known.

coinmagi.org is down (Error 500)
Works fine for me! Try again.

It's back, seems it was just a server/database hiccup
Ok. You mean on your side or on the website?

Error 500 is server side
Hmm ok. Thanks tittiecoiner!

Dont know if this helps, but for me everything's going ok with that site, btw is sad to see the forum full of spam bots Sad, maybe some mid level captcha while you want to register your nick will be useful, at least to prevent most of those spam bots.
279  Other / Meta / Re: Forum Comparison: Is It Just Me? on: January 06, 2016, 06:42:48 PM
Well, I have to say bitcointalk is a lot cleaner than some of the other forums I frequent and it's definitely fast.

As i always said, sometimes the simple is the best, i'm using smf forums on my own little "business" since long time ago, for me, this is without any doubt, the best free forum software available, clean + professional is everything needed, the admin did a good choice long time ago, i hate all those forums with lot of useless features "just for fun"...
