261  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Personal responsiblity and the Ponzi scam. on: September 09, 2012, 11:38:07 AM
Someone writes an awesome post that has some damn good advice. Yes, he is hosting a pornsite. Those are two completely different things.

What the fuck is wrong with this community? Pirate steals 500k BTC and you are flaming a pornsite owner who is trying to talk some sense into you morons.
262  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tradebit- be carefull on: September 08, 2012, 07:26:08 PM
Bump. He's sending around pm's asking to buy bitcoins.

Take the coins and don't send him fiat. Then send the coins to monstrs until monstrs has all his 20BTC back. That's what I did.

I've reported tradebit's actions to moneybookers and they promised to look into it --> he is very likely to get his account frozen.
263  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who BTCGUY ? scammer on: September 07, 2012, 07:18:40 PM
They won't publish any IPs.. I once asked them for myself when some prick scammed me for 1k$.  (got the money back though because I found him and his wife Cheesy )

I'll try to have some more to sell in a few days Smiley
If you are in a hurry, we can make a mining contract and you will get your coins as soon as they are matured.

Any thoughts?  Why are all my proof-of-work's bad?

I don't know the answer on the proof-or-work questions BUT: You are mining with CPU and with some quick math your hashpower is about 12MH/s max. You will not find a block with a CPU, at least not in two weeks.

Points for quoting zerohedge.

Is your Skrill in USD or maybe in EUR? If it's in EUR we could trade 30BTC at MT Gox weighted avg.
268  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: i need 5 btc for moneybooker on: September 06, 2012, 12:07:21 PM
I just scammed him for 26USD so not a very smart scammer I'd say Cheesy
269  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tradebit- be carefull on: September 06, 2012, 12:02:44 PM
I just made a trade with scammed him. Only got 26USD so that won't cover your losses monstrs but they are yours if he doesn't pay.
270  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bonuspool - Discussion on: September 06, 2012, 10:44:18 AM
I think the amount of scammers in the bitcoin community just makes me quite nervous!

I have bought 12 GPUs over the past month and today I thought, shit, this is just a little risky, should I sell up? (this is in no way directed at Clipse or Bonuspool)

As long as there are greedy people who are willing to invest, there will be scammers. This applies to everything. Looks like making money with your computer is not enough for Bitcoiners. They want to invest their coins with someone who doesn't even tell what he is doing with them (pirate). Greed is a sickness.

If you got into Bitcoin because it's easy money - Yes, you should sell some, maybe all. Invest only what you can afford to lose.

If you thought Bitcoin is a great idea and will change how people do business - Nothing has changed. No need to sell right now when mining is profitable.

Since this is a Bonuspool discussion I could tell my opinion about it. Clipse has a great business that took a hit. That happens. This is a difficult situation for Clipse and for miners.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling PPCoins on: September 06, 2012, 10:12:00 AM
That was fast, first 10k PPCoins sold.

Coins left: not anymore Sad

You can PM me or we can post payment addresses here so it's public.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Selling PPCoins on: September 06, 2012, 09:09:46 AM

273  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tradebit- be carefull on: September 06, 2012, 09:04:12 AM
Anyone reported those emails to Skrill(moneybookers) and neteller? I'm pretty sure they are more than happy to close his accounts Smiley
274  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bonuspool - Discussion on: September 05, 2012, 07:34:49 AM
If you start right now you will get 130% PPS. Coins will be paid at the end of October.

I don't think that's too bad if you have some coins and can afford to wait two months. Signing up is done by PMing Clipse. Instructions are in OP of the actual Bonuspool thread.
275  Bitcoin / Pools / Bonuspool - SCAMMER NEILL ROELOFSE on: September 04, 2012, 09:25:38 PM
Hi,

After PMing with some fellow miners I decided to open a thread about Bonuspool since the original is locked by Clipse(Nothing wrong with that considering pools current situation). We need a different thread for all the speculation.

(thread will be locked if conversation gets off topic or the word 'ponzi' or 'scam' is mentioned too many times)

Also, if you are not mining at Bonuspool, I'm not sure we need your opinion.

UPDATED 22th October

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=118353.0

Clipse stole ~1800 BTC from his miners. He now claims that he was hacked and everything is gone. No police reports scanned, no extra info given. He just says "I'm sorry but you won't see your coins"

Best pool as of Semptember 2012? I'd say Bonuspool https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=60717.0
Miners get 130% PPS. Only trick is that coins are paid at the end of Semptember.

... if coins are paid at all.
Dont you think that whole scheme smells to high heaven? Its a pool run by one of Pirate's fiercest defenders. I would exercise some caution if I were you.

I know you hate Clipse and his pool. Now you are going to advertise your pool hopping scheme, right? Like you did few weeks ago in Clipse's thread?
