I'm getting ready to ditch long-term xevan mining and go full-ham on CN7.... with all nvidia I have left. I think XMR still has yet to 'moon'. If it keeps up with fighting asics; its value should go up pretty high compared to history.
This CN7 FPGA that's up for sale....
I can't believe people are that gullible; even if it is a legitimate thing..... gullible. I mean; 83 euros just in shipping.... on top of all other issues I have pointed out in their thread.
Makes me curious.... curious about stupidity.
I think FPGA's are more centralized than asic look at the prices their talking how many small miners can pay $4000-$5000 for one miner plus the algos their talking are going to crush these little coins I think it's a freaking joke ppl with their greed are turning cryptos into a circus

Is anyone CPU mining is so what are your rates I like to cpu mine with the fx8350 I have on my GPU rigs just don't know if it's worth trying cn heavy
CN-Heavy is not really good for CPU mining. You should mine CN-Lite instead like Aeon or IPBC. https://github.com/IndeedMiners/xmr-aeon-stak/releasesThanks I pointed my cpu's to bittube (ipbc) but I'm really interested in Haven so I think I'm going to move all my Rx cards to Haven any pool you recommend

I've reached 15.758 MH with overclocking and undervolting with ease and no problem.
I've a rx560 Hynix too, which timingstraps/clocks do you use to get 15.8MH? I can't reach 15 I'd like to know that also I bought a few gigabyte rev1 rx 560 when it was impossible to buy a 570/580 well for a normal price, but I'll have to say the rx 560 isn't a bad little card

2 BTC per MN??? I think I'll have to create a useless coin too.. Just need to sell 10 or 20 MN and run away.. The masternodes are killing crypto.. This will have to stop somewere..
Ya between these freaking masternode coins and bitmain crypto is turning centralized more and more every day not to mention ppl who want to invest their life savings in icos than the project goes belly up and than they want uncle Sam to get involved was crypto currency supposed to be decentralized I can't remember

I want this project zeltrez to succeed so that these big exchanges that are demanding huge amount of money so that coins can be listed on their exchanges will be stopped. As more and more coins will no longer be dependent on these huge exchanges, more funds will be diverted to the development of the coins instead of paying these exchanges. Go zeltrez go!
It's crazy the amount of money some of these exchanges are charging to list a coin I understand they have to charge something for labor and server cost to setup and test but it's getting out of control

just wanted to share my mining setup:
miner: enemy-1.10
5 - Zotac 1060 6Gb mini -pwl 80%, cc +110, mc +400 3 - Zotac 1070 Ti 8Gb mini -pwl 80%, cc +200, mc +500
hashrate between 75 and 82 Mh/s depending on RVN x16r algo
if anyone has a better setting/hashrate pls share it !
anyone has some settings for AMD RX580 8Gb? I flashed my 470's back to stock bios than set my clocks at factory settings I'm using hiveos and my cards average 6-7mh. What are you getting per 1060/1070 if you dont mind

I think the new name Bittube fits well its easier for someone to say and find Bittube than hey check out IPBC what the hell is that a new medical condition

How do I manually add a miner and what do I need to do to be able to chose that miner from the drop down list under wallets I would like to add sp-hash fork of suprminer https://github.com/sp-hash/suprminer/releases would it be easier to replace suprminer with this fork

Has anyone tried the webwallet yet just wondering how its working

Ya I don't understand why ppl are upset over this it's better to be known that verge is being used for legit things instead of the dark web currency

Yet more tinfoil hat bullshit being spewed by trolls. Its kind of sad how low the bar is for information on these forums.
People are so spooked by the truth they have to denounce it as it doesnt fit their personal narrative.
P.S. ASIC does not equal centralization. You can run an ASIC at home as easily as you can a GPU rig.
Agreed but that's not the problem the problem is people who aren't connected or aren't a big farm won't receive their asic until bitmain used it for months and they are bringing bigger and better asics online so spend 2000 or 3000 on a miner that's used and everyone who doesn't think bitmain has a kill switch on your machine better research they've already admitted it so how decentralized is asic mining I don't think it is especially when one manufacturer makes most of the asics and controls a big portion of the hashrate

Hey everyone, I recently did this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPdnG03eI58) showing some of the recent Deception and Misdirection that the ZCash team has pushed on us all over the last 1.5 years and ofcoarse more recently over the last week with the announcement of the Z9. .... Yes, Zcash is a scam, always has. Why? first the trusted stepup is completely unreliable from the get go, but now with all the behaviors that you documented... it is total unconsciousness to support this chain in anyway. ZEC is beautiful example of how a shitcoin can get a high valuation... Furthermore the behavior, and censorship is totally unacceptable. it's the virus musk(it), a very contagious illness, made of arrogance and lack of respect for investors. and there is zero decentralization with this coin, everything rest on the shoulder of a censoring master... what a shame for those who have been fooled... the rush for the exit is going to be fun . Very true if this is supposed to be a decentralized coin than why is one man pulling the strings

Haha, dude you miss few very important thing:
- If you a technical person, mining is an awesome experience and lots of fun - You learn a LOT about different cryptocurrencies, algorythms and so on. - My mining rigs heating my rooms in winter which spare me heating cost A LOT! - via mining you are able to decuct electricity and hardware cost from yearly taxing if you own a company, which is a lot - via mining you support the decentralization of a coin you really beleive
Exactly, on top of that I have a regular job, own a company and still do mining For me its like a free time hobby. I always pitty the idiots who see easy money in everything and all they are capable of doing is buying an Ethererum rig and pluging it in. Then when it comes to changing the algo and address they come to the forums and whine. And to those buying ASICS and supporting Bitmain...you deserve everything you got. Mining takes some dedication and study. For the record I still earn 20-30$ per day with only 10 AMD GPUs. (this is without electricity costs). You just need to know what to mine. I also do not sell what I mine for covering the costs, that goes from my regular job earnings. I bought GPUs from yearly company profits and it was tax free So yea its quite nice and I have fun doing it. What I do agree is that simply buying some crypto and holding could potentially lead to bigger gains, but that is not half the fun mining is and you do not learn so much as you do if you build and tweak your own rigs. You know people you can do all three: - Have a regular job - Buy, trade and hold crypto - Own a few righs to mine a little on the side You took the words out of my mouth when all the coins went up everyone in the world thought they could buy some pre made rigs plug them in quit their jobs and roll in the money well shit don't work that way I've been mining for 4 or 5 years now I don't buy shit from Bitmain and now that Bitmain has miners for ETH, ZEC, XMR everyone thinks mining dead well news flash there where other coins to mine way before those coins and there is and will be other coins to mine

Could someone tell me how can I set different clocks for r9/390 and r9/270 clocks on the same rig the 270 cant handle 390 clocks and the 390 sucks with 270 clocks

Hmm, i don't really understand the memory timings. When i copy the original straps, e.g. (1750 strap and use 1725MHZ ) from the card's bios (in this case Hynix AJR) to the memory timings field, the computer crashes (Thread stuck in device driver). When i let GGS run at 1725MHZ and capture the timings after some time they are different from the original straps (1700: and 1625: and 2000:) written in the bios. This way memory strap optimizing by hand is rather impossible as it can't be compared. 2nd: The 550 with elpida can do easily 530-560H/s at cryptonight, it's just the memory timings. I've posted the settings before and memory timings before.... 000000000000000022AA1C00AC595A30A0550F142C8CC505006004007C041420CA8980A9020004C 01712262B5C2B3715 2, 44, 8 Does the 550 get better hashrates than the the 560 I have 2 one with micron and the other with hynix I get better rates with the micron but not 530 on cryptonight I have the clocks at 1100/2000 and one click timings but this is on linux I have a stripped down win 10 pro I'm going to reinstall windows on all my miners and install GGS maybe I'll get better rates

I have two questions for the rig mixed r9 270,280,390 the first is can I overclock the cards separately like the Rx cards than the second claymore 11.7 won't work keeps saying something about loading drivers but etherminer works

It good to see some devs listen to the community and do the wright thing as far as ZEC it looks like they where bought by bitmain from zooko comments he's talking like O asic will take over some day so why fight them so my ZEC faith is gone zooko is going to get his 20% and thats all he cares about he used gpu miners to get his coin started now we can screw off

Ok Im going nuts I install 18.3.4 drivers and tries GGS 1.36 and 1.37 and cannot get any of my r9 cards to run 270,280 and 390's Im on win 10 I tried mph ethash but it wont connect I have to use a different port than ETH because of the dag the log keeps saying something about the key also I tried cn7 and my hashrates either suck or when I use default settings it crashes could someone give me a good settings on xmr for theses older cards Thanks Also I no its not GGS its the fact Im using older cards on this rig edit: I also tried stock clocks and OC I wonder if I need to reinstall win for some reason when you use claymore miners than switch to a different miner you get nothing but problems this always happened to me on win7
I heard a rumor that Claymore's miners rewrite display drivers for stability. I didn't confirm that rumor myself, but it makes a perfect sense. I was at least pretty certain that they use exploits in Windows to gain administrative privileges. (I don't think it's a coincidence antivirus software marks his miners as threats.) These are all speculations and I might be completely wrong. That is why I prefer open-source projects over closed-source ones, although I take a substantial financial hit that way. Just my two cents. Thanks I believe this is the problem I can use any claymore miner without a problem as soon as I try any other miner I have problems or crashes even when I run DDU I think a fresh install of win 10 is the way to go Im going to try and see whats happens
