Salute polo addition unlikely due to wallets built in bittrex trading api ,,,, chinese markets started the downward trend. in my opinion price will take a hard fall today on the apparent 2nd failure of breaching the 1 dollar mark due to poor distribution a few people (probably devs) in an atemp to hold the price down to make it look more attractive to polonex yesterday ,,, have destroyed the price upward momentum and faith. in what could only be described as a child having a temper tantrum I watched as 10's of thousands worth of pivx was flung into high buy pressure at the 15 - 16 range . 5 - 20 btc walls were placed as every time the price lowered, more endless mini dumps ensued. any discussion of this coin being evenly distributed should be met with hysterical laughter . I get it you all had dreams of having access to polonex's large trade volume, as that becomes more and more unlikely ,, the dirty little secret about this coin , is going to get dumped all over unsuspecting investors ,, how much they own is anybody's speculation ,,, but from what I seen last night with the utterly wasteful and ridiculously large walls and dumps leads me to believe polonex is very wise not to add this coin
be honest dev what percent you guys got ,, at this point I think is well above 30

Would love to know if dev have been able to make beneficie from the P&D. This one was too fast and not enough high from my experience, but taking into account that almost every THOM was dumped, maybe he has made a good profit. OTOH, the pump stops so fast that I have almost done no benefit, maybe this is the last X11 personality scam I mine. Too fast and too tight pumped for the miners to get a good benefit, IMHO.

Meanwhile: on an on-topic front, PIVX skyrocketing. But is it because it's on a tiny liquidity exchange and big holders are waiting for the high liquidity exchanges to cash out massive amounts ? Once the turnaround takes place is it going to be driven into the ground ? Should I dump now or is the revaluation eventually going to stabilise and only retrace about 50% ?
Interesting question. I think the bigger holdings has already been partially distributed, I have the impresion, but it's onluy an impresion, that explorer shows a lot more distirbution than a month before. Think uptrent will continue till listed in Polo or a big BTC pump which rekt this explosive altcoin market, and we will see a 50%, 66.6% retrace from that value. Difficult part is try to find good sell points during this situation. |

I love the part of fastmine... Do you know that in January 2017 you could get Dnet for less than 1k sat? And mining phase last more than 5 months? And if there were less distribution the price would have been controlled far down from now, allowing better sell and recovery tactics.
Dash is a great project which will continue to be very valuable in the future. PIVx is a promising project which could deliver new standards in crypto. And you should read more carefully any info about a coin, because you seem to know about crypto far less than you seem to want to demonstrate us, iloveBTCtomuch.
And yes, in some moment in the future, this coin would rekt. This level of overbought is unsustainable. But remember, 500k PIVX where sold at 50-70k sat in minutes one or two weeks ago and the coin recovered the price in minutes. The one who dumped became a very rich man, but if his strategy was to recover in the panic sell after that the strategy didn't work very nice...

I wanted know if there are some real counter arguments to these following questions.
1) Distribution, is a so called plus by PIVX, yet when you take a close look at DASH compared to PIVX POW fase it was only 100day's long and the masternode idea was already planned in, so not much selling going on.
There was plenty of selling going on. Believe me, I was there. PIVX has been around for more than a year and a half and had plenty of ups and downs in the early days. It deliberately adopted a slow, steady block reduction scheme to ensure that latecomers still had a chance to get in. If you keep good look at the block-chain you can also see still still see that the TOP 250 address still hold close to 50%, that was even worst just after the 100day POW fase.
Also the 2 anonymous creators of this coin claim to have burned up all the pre-mined coins but there where only 60.000 coins burned in that process. Which to me sounds more like a gesture to create come good will if you compare it the almost 53 million coins that exist right now.
I would very much like a similiar info on PIVX compaired to this DASH info(which completely clearly's up the instamine for me in satisfactory way other than the trolls keep bashing on it)
The material fact is that DASH was instamined. Those resources you cite only exist to defend DASH because there is something there that needs to be defended and justified. I am not saying that they don't justify the premine--that is something that each person has to judge for themselves. What I am saying is that I would love to show you similar information for PIVX, but it doesn't exist because there is nothing equivalent that needs to be justified. The premine, which was used to set up the first MNs for the network, was publicly burnt. That is also a demonstrable fact. If I'm understanding you correctly, you're suggesting that 60K seems too low (maybe because the number was so much higher for DASH?) so therefore there must be more to the story. If there is more to the story, no one has managed to find evidence of it in the past year and a half, and the Dev team has given us no reasons to doubt their integrity. Again, though, each person should make their own decisions, and place their trust as they see fit. i just want to add one thing about the premine: the 60k pivx (dnet back then) where for 6 nodes to help the network in very early days we even told the dev's back then not to burn the 60k and take it as reward for all their hard work. They refused and burned the coins as planned cuz they wanted and still want to have full transparency in every aspect of this project thats one reason why a lot of us have full faith in devs and their work. I rather think the world is coming to an end than the pivx team will let us down cheers and have good day all Yes, I remember that, and the value of the MNs in that time was about 300 hundred bucks, 0.5 BTC@600$ or less only, so none could have been hurt. Random question:
With the release of the new wallet, has it interfered with the old wallet version's staking process? I have enough to stake regularly (usually 3-5 blocks a day) and haven't gotten any today.
Obviously not out of the question to not have one yet today, just wanted to ask considering the timing.

Hi Assman, Seems like there is a lot more PIVx also in active stacking now. I have the last version and seems that reward has fallen from 1 per day per 10k PIVx to aprox 1 per 2.5 days per 10k PIVx. This fact plus the quite stable 2100 MN's (21M PIVx) maybe can explain some of the price increase this last days. Now there is not too much PIVx to be trade out there. Salutes |
