Great job much cheaper than current alternatives.  What hash rate have you been able to push all 8 chips to?
262  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL 600GH "Monarch" already postponed to February! on: September 29, 2013, 04:40:27 PM
Really guys? Why would any one buy this giving that they still haven't shipped all other products promised to others fully yet?

hmm.. ugg.. 113 million diff to 148 today..

If Jupiter can do 500Gh/s..
The expected generation output, at 500 Ghps, given current difficulty of 148819199.80509 , is 1.68968181173 BTC per day and 0.0704034088219 BTC per hour.

At 400 Gh/s
The expected generation output, at 400 Ghps, given current difficulty of 148819199.80509 , is 1.35174544938 BTC per day and 0.0563227270575 BTC per hour.

I get "invalid shipping method" on Safari and Firefox with OS X.  And I don't see a shipping method option any where on the order page.

There was in fact a shipping issue with the upgrade kit.
It is fixed now.

I say blame the webmaster Smiley hahaha... j/k

Bitcoinorama likes th stir the pot, which can be healthy at times but yea I mean if you have something to say just point out your concern and maybe people can rectify or explain why things change.
271  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL board project COINTAMINATION - EU+USA facility - need samples for one board on: September 22, 2013, 05:26:37 PM
$599 is quite expensive, I reliaze you need to make a profit but not $300 worth.

So ideally, looks like we have at least 2 changes in diff coming before some of us first customers see our knc devices.. hmm its at 112mil now, and running a jup at 400 Gh/s right now nets you this:

The expected generation output, at 400 Ghps, given current difficulty of 112628548.66635 , is 1.78609844927 BTC per day and 0.0744207687197 BTC per hour.

.. so around 1.7 a day.. I remember when I first ordered this device it was at almost 7btc a day.. wow...

275  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: September 19, 2013, 04:45:41 PM
...
I wasn't watching it.  Is there an easy way to send the output to a logfile?
/home/pi/bin/cgminer/cgminer --avalon-auto --avalon-freq 350-450 --avalon-options 115200:2:10:d:350 --failover-only --api-listen --api-allow W:192.168.23.0/24 2> file.log

Also --failover-only means that if the stratum pool says it is still connected but it isn't providing work properly you may indeed not get work to give to the BTB
I'm not sure why that can happen, but I've seen it on a stratum pool that was having trouble but not losing the connection

Oh I just checked, my previous was Runtime: 71 hrs : 36 mins : 16 secs
(until I did a code restart)
[2013-09-17 16:38:38] BTB0 42C/ 42C 0000R | (5s):5.742G (avg):6.956Gh/s | A:416626 R:3442 HW:19 WU:97.2/m

Heh I just noticed that looks like a minor bug in the final summary report Smiley

Hmm I seem to get a crash every day now.. , any way I can help debug this issue or provide info for the devs?

Open source is Open source,

If you cry about receiving free loot/payments/donations then don't make it open source.

Simple as that.

+1
277  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: September 10, 2013, 09:17:38 PM
So the miner protection plan is now for sale? I thought that was the whole point of going with hashfast..

I look at it this way.. we all know its a risk about ROI, otherwise we wouldn't be buying these things, usually when I purchase something big over a few k I usually buy the extended warranty, I hate it but its a fact of life and many times I have used it where I would of been up shit creek had I not.

not saying its exactly the same but you buy extra piece of mind or you just go full steam ahead and just get it w/o..
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 10, 2013, 07:07:18 PM
Anyone know what they are doing as far as working with cgminer or bfgminer.. it seems that they are writing some middle open source communication layer for cgminer.. but what if cgminer changes things, will KNC always have to update this open source miner or does it now become the job of cg and bfg to make changes .. also is this a good idea to do this? I mean they claim a 30% increase using their in-between layer but well..

anyone have any ideas or more incite.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 06, 2013, 10:33:13 PM
One week into Sept with not much word from KNC.  I believe they are waiting on the same things we are to get chips, and well hopefully get chips any day now than any month now.  It would be nice to have a bit more transparency esp so late in the game where shipping should be any time now.  I do also realize that transparency can also cause issues and potentially if they say oh crap we wont get chips till end of oct, lots of people might cancel.

Next Friday approaches mid month so the weeks are flying by ... any updates KNC, esp since we will prob have 100m+ diff by the time we hope to get our boxes this month.

not much word... lol
