261  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM EXCHANGE MONITOR: BestChange on: July 04, 2022, 06:41:07 PM
otherwise, if all the members of the BestChange signature campaign would report here, and if the majority would give them support, how would it be interpreted? Paid and biased support on the forum?

I would personally interpret it differently. Would interpret it based on merit of their argument.whoever supportrd or opposed it.
I might not show how I interpreted though, or maybe I will. Who knows
Maybe coz I'm an oddball,
See the democracy in the forum, is a very good thing. People will have different opinion on something.

I still see BestChange to be the best reference for exchangers , though I said they were shilling(in a way, maybe not intentional).

Quote from: Best_Change in their latest reply

Trustpilot uses something similar, we are also considering a similar mechanism, but so far it is difficult to implement in the current system (inner code of the site). It may be realized in the updated version, and so far we can only limit for the exchanger the number of attempts to lift the claim without our participation, so that they use this function wisely and not abuse it.

You sure you didn't consider it based on my comment. LoL
(trying to lighten the tension a bit)
No idea TrustPilot had that feature. I got the idea whilst reading something about the lightning network basics or was it lightning network FAQs, (HTLC or Hashed TimeLock Contracts) in particular.

263  Economy / Services / Re: LOOKING FOR ESCROW SERVICES FROM HERO MEMBER on: July 03, 2022, 02:59:23 PM
The subject title could be improved to :

Looking for escrow services from hero member and up.

Most of the escrow service if not all that I have seen over this forum that are well established, is from legendary accounts.

For example Dabs'
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=234939

(although he is escrowing bigger amounts afaik).

Good luck to this venture, author.
264  Other / Off-topic / Re: Password managers or passwords from memory on: July 03, 2022, 02:46:59 PM
Another safe way would be to create your own password manager in a secondary device that doesn't connect to the internet. If I am not mistaken, they call it like air-gap something...

This maybe a lot of work for password managing but I believe it to be very effective.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Debunking misconceptions about Crypto Currencies on: July 03, 2022, 02:37:33 PM
Most common misconception in my experience:

Cryptocurrencies are most likely a scam, well according to my social media friends who knows very little about cryptocurrency. Bitcoin for example, most of them would have the same misconceptions.

"naku padadamahin ka lang nyan sa simula pero pag malaki na pinasok mo tatakbo na yan"

Translation:

It will just trick you by making you comfortable then when you invest a larger amount, they will run.

I just replied to them, I did not convert any cash I've earned outside of cryptocurrency to Bitcoin. Instead I use bitcoin that I earned outside of crypto, paying bills for example. I told them that they can choose to invest cash to crypto but again the volatility is very high, or he can look for ways to earn crypto without investing money. Just some elbow grease and time of course.

Then I gave them this link

how to earn bitcoins

Maybe they changed their view if they really paid some time to read more here on the forum.

266  Economy / Reputation / Re: Goodbye, world! on: July 03, 2022, 01:10:19 PM
But then, I cant help but wonder what really made Lauda leave the community, at least, he or she would have maybe taken some time off, and come back whenever things are fine, But leaving everything he or she have struggled to build and achieve through out this years to say goodbye is kind of abnormal to me, I don't know what you guys think, maybe I need a mental reorientation but honestly, I don't get it.

Lauda ran out of lives.

Thank you everyone in advance, quite the 9 lives that some Kitty had here. Cool

Seriously though, all we can do is speculate to why Lauda left forever.
From the OP, unseen pressure was the reason. With his/her popularity in the forum, no wonder pressure got to her/him.

or perhaps he/she's done enough for the forum and have to focus on rl stuff.

This is funny btw:

267  Local / Pilipinas / Re: DOST naglunsad ng Blockchain Training Program -- on: July 03, 2022, 12:28:53 PM
That's nice! Matagal na pala tong sa Unionbank. Last 2020 pa pala  yung seminar nila about blockchain, Di pako nakakapag enroll since ngayon ko lang nakita. Worth it ba yung pag enroll? I know it's free pero baka about basic blockchain lesson lang yung laman and most likely we know about it. If ever good to I think I can recommend it to my friends.

Kahit basic blockchain lessons or topics to, kung may certification eh di worth it din siguro.

Webinar or face to face?

I know that she touched many people’s lives here.  She was one of the most active community contributors, briefly on staff—no doubt. . .

Lauda left a negative feedback(deserved) to me,but she was kind enough to update it before he/she/it went bye bye.

To where ever Lauda is, Thank you and stay grumpy!

Maybe this is her?

thats riCHICKulous!!

have there been any confirmation if Lauda was a she or he or it?
Maybe she confirmed it here:

271  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM EXCHANGE MONITOR: BestChange on: July 03, 2022, 09:53:27 AM
@BestChange: any chance you can make your business more customer-centered? If an exchange has negative reviews: show them! Make it 4/128/512 instead of 0/132/512. That looks much more honest.

If they only keep positive feedbacks as "reviews" then thats plain shilling. Just my opinion.

A suggestion:

Before cancelling claims, how about asking the customer if he agrees to cancel his claim or how about having a buffer like number of days so if the customer failed to respond if he/she agrees to void his claim, it will not be a dead end.

272  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Another KYC requirements ng coins.ph? on: July 03, 2022, 06:28:57 AM

Yun nga ang masakit eh, have to comply.

Payslip not an option sakin, baka mag make up na lang ng business kuno online selling or something. haha

If hinde kana comfortable sa ganitong updates ni Coinsph, better not to use it anymore pero since most of us here ay no choice, kaya magcomply nalang. Supporting documents ay kailangan talaga, just try to contact them as well if you have questions about the update.

273  Economy / Gambling / Re: Disgusting beitsler on: July 03, 2022, 06:06:10 AM
Once a month something similar to this gets posted by a brandnew account. Dont know if it is good that there are new users utilizing the forum and new users are getting into crypto or it is just the same person with a brand new account. Well if youre claim is valid please follow this scam report format:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0

P.S.
Sometimes its really effin unlucky that I feel my account is cursed or something for a very long losing streak. Although with the math I kind of understood, the more rolls you make, the more chances of getting some really long losing streak
274  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Beware]New scammer scheme using exchange on: July 03, 2022, 05:15:07 AM
Recently some random guy message me on telegram and ask me to help him withdraw his balance to avoid tax. He is claiming that the exchange ask him to do KYC and he is not comfortable with that. Then he showed me his balance as proof.

. . . .

Yet he was comfortable filling up his balance with I would assume he said a substantial amount. Maybe from this point you already realized his up to something fishy.. Maybe telegram didn't have the "report user" in PMs because it would be a huge task to review report's legitimacy.

Thats really something at least post the name of the exchange so that everyone is familiar with the scammer hub.

+1 to this
275  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Another KYC requirements ng coins.ph? on: July 02, 2022, 08:34:49 AM
Halos lahat tayo ganyan na-receive.

Nagsubmit ako ng source of income ko from trading, as assistant sa mga bounty campaigns, at from signature campaign, that time fortunejack ang campaign na nasalihan.  That time nasa 0.04 BTC weekly ang pasweldo plus bonuses ng fortunejack kaya napaka generous ng Sig campaign nila noon.  Wala naman naging problema during those time, inaccept naman nila yung source of income ko kaya nagtaka ako nung humingi ulit sila ng update ng source of income ko ay rejected na.

So paano ba ang pinaka magandang pag state ng source of income kung ang source ay paminsan minsang  pag ttrade at karamihan ay kung may signature campaign.

Part time salary from product promotion?

What are you even talking about? You aren't making any sense nor is there a logical reason to post something as meaningless as what you just did. There is a preview button on this forum. You can click on it and doublecheck your post before submitting it.

Really, this looks like AI generated content for the sole purpose of filling the weekly quota for the signature campaign. It's good that you noticed that, Pmalek!
I don't want to derail your thread further, but I think Hhampuz should be made aware of this and do a thorough background check on this spammer, as his history seems to be full of such low-quality posts.

If nobody have mentioned Bitsler
<...>

I would suggest reading the OP's post in more detail. Bitsler is already on the table.

|Bitsler|25-20.000 BTSLR depending on account level|Claimable 20-50 times in a 12-hour period. 10 minutes cool-down between claims.|

The OP didnt mention how you can monetize BITSLER coins tho. Plus wuth the reference link, the number of claims for all account is changed to 50 for all accounts. Maybe I'll just suggest an update to the original post.

thanks decodx

280  Local / Pilipinas / Re: DOST naglunsad ng Blockchain Training Program -- on: July 01, 2022, 10:12:54 PM

Most probably they are trying to understand blockchain and cryptocurrency so ok itong trainings for their employees and maybe, the government will soon create their own coin using a blockchain that created by those technicians.
. . .

More on the blockchain technology and its possible implementation in government processes and probably sa record keeping ito.

Byebye na sa tambak tambak na papeles. . xd
