Do you gamble for fun or for profit?
I started gambling for fun but as I got addicted to it and have found some methods to win , it turned out to be for profit now. Though I have never invested on it from my own pocket. I use the money I have won. I dont know if it is true or not but it is really questionable. I havent got the chance to win in gambling with websites so i still have that doubt. I can pm my history of bets and you will see it. I am sti winning it all back. You can send it to me.  Maybe you should try some other strategies or hit and run sessions. Try out bitvest.io as well, its a very nice place to play. |

Yes, and both ways. It is easy to get carried away when winning, so quitting whilst ahead is recommended. It is also important to set a stop loss limit.
The only problem with that advice is what if you never get ahead, what if you are down during the entire session, what are you going to do then? The problem is that many people never think about all the possibilities and that is why when something unexpected happens they have no plan. If I go the losing streak, what I do is that I go for a break. Smoke a cigarette or go for a meal and think things over. Then I comeback. If I go the same streak again, I call it a day and try again some other time. |

Perhaps religion considers gambling a sin, but for me it's just entertainment that helps to relax after a hard day's work, but on condition that I set a limit so as not to lose all the money.
that's really true, if in my religion I certainly believe that gambling is illegal and is not allowed by the Shari'a syariat of religion Well it is up to you if you would be willing to sin against your religion(whatever that may be), or hold yourself and battle your own greed. |

I have never heard that gambling was recommended to people for helping purposes. It was made to lose all your money and make the owners rich so no it doesn't help people's life.
Actually, it does in some way. You know people who are stuck at home, doing house chores everyday and sometimes grow bored. People can gamble online to get a rush that they won't be able to feel just by washing clothes, doing the dishes etc. |

Because the gamble is very fun, especially when getting big wins and get a lot of money. It is perfect happiness, that is what makes addictive, although in the end gets defeated, but gambling addiction will be difficult to remove.
Perfect happiness or satisfaction can't be achieved by gambling alone. As once it has been said, money can't buy everything, the time you spent with your love ones would be better. |

Yes gambling is a sin because your your attitude as a gambler is selfishness.No gambler wants to be a loser.Gamblers always aim to be a winner,ofcourse they want to win the game and make plenty of their money.The're aiming to get all the money.So they are selfcentered they want to win all what they say.Also you are to attempt to make a sin of many temptation sorrounds you. So that gambling is a sin. Just because of the winning opportunity associated with it people prefer gambling, else we cannot find a single user into the gambling websites or gambling houses. Our bitcoin has made it easier and I don't find this to be a sin, because when people know his limitations and spend accordingly nothing goes wrong. That is just an overstatement especially when you consider one thing as a sin, it should be against one's beliefs or religion. Well, it is just too much to talk about religion and stuffs like that. Just don't do it if it doesn't fit your personality or other's.. |

Maybe it could be yes, but it only happens to a few gamblers who exist in this world. Because, most gamblers only achieve a momentary win and cann't be a profitable activity.
It only happen to few people and alot of people will lose. It is very simple but alot of people want to get profit from that. I was once like that and I realized that I have made mistake. When we have realized our mistake then we will know that it has no reason for us to keep hoping to make profit from a gambling site because we cant there are possibilities of making profit from it. Take for example hufflepuff(though he cheated so not the best example), and some others who have a strong discipline to cash out when they have made enough. People who just won't be satisfied are always those who get broke. |

For me, gambling and investing is both risky, but in investing you have an assurance that you will receive investment returns cause in gambling you can't predict if you will win or not. Assurance ? there is no assurance on investment dude but investing is not completely 100% loss like on gambling. When your investment is not good, your money will decrease but in gambling when you lose a bet, it's 100% lose all money. In my opinion invest is more better than gamble. You just repeated what I said in your own words. What a pity as it is the post before yours.. Because of the pleasure you feel when you are winning and the greed when you are loosing. People think two ways it’s either to play more to earn more money, or to play harder to gives back the money you loose. It’s really addicting specially when you are loosing money, the greed will drive you to go on casinos.
Well, it is a pity that most gamblers come back to play to catch up with their losses. That eventually makes this form of entertainment no more entertain those. If only gamblers play to have some relaxing time, it would be much better. |

Not first and not last time. I didn't knew that there were these promises of real life stuff. But it could be that they are too much occupied that they have not been able to fulfill these.
