2601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex has been locked for over 5 days...due to suspicious activity on: December 04, 2017, 04:15:25 PM
Bittrex lately has been asking a lot of documents to prove identity, I think they are trying to make sure their site will not be used in any illegal activities like laundering. Bittrex is also asking me to upgrade so that I can have a higher withdrawal limit. Just comply with whatever they are asking to avoid further inconvenience.

2603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [UFC 219: Aldo vs Holloway 2] The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 04, 2017, 07:40:37 AM
@nydiacaskey01. Jose Aldo can if he tries to use all his tools like the leg kicks, his powerful takedowns and also if he uses his head movement more. We did not see any of that in the first fight, and I hope he learned from his mistakes and uses them again.
He tried his best to out perform Halloway but I guess Halloways fight plan is better than Aldo. First few minutes of the fight is all Aldo, after that its Halloway all the way. Its like Halloway observe Aldo first then wait for the right moment to strike. Too bad for Aldo, I thought he can pull a win for this fight with Halloway to make way for a possible trilogy.
2604  Economy / Lending / Re: Anyone interested in funding A project Big returns... on: December 04, 2017, 07:04:01 AM
So I've been at this and seeing which is the best way for me to contribute.
I'm a Baltimore Native but currently living in Dominican Republic for those of you who don't
know it's an Island next to Puerto Rico NO US Regulation here but this population heavily relies on
on its US migrants wiring them money all the time mostly through Caribean express or W/U which I have by the way.
Anyway, alot of poor people hear but They hustle their azz off. I am interested in disrupting the GOV since They Announced
this past week that they are not responsible for bitcoin transactions and  basically that bitcoin is the devil
Now how cool will it be to teach 200 "12 too 16-year-old kids" how to use bitcoin and how they can make a profit from
bitcoin trading on a weekly base...and how they can use bitcoin to improve their lives...
I would need to do some research and the person loaning the money as interest will acquire kids/adults students that will be
trading partners  .....The first bitcoin school in Dominican Republic for young poor people just like Satoshi Nakamoto would have wanted...
NOTE: This is just me playing with this idea in my head but please comment share tell me what you guys think

I guess it would some type of joint venture.I would be providing location
Ill put a 1k on it + my time I would have to figure out a way that the students can earn it back to me
but at least to me it seems like a good idea.I know with the rep this country has and the poor GOV Management
it would be a long shot but at least these kids will learn something more than selling coke is how you make it big in life
or that they don't have to stay poor cause their GOV oppresses them
also only because the "so-called" world power banking cartel treats them like 3rd class waste
the don't have to live that way.who knows maybe they'll create their own coin to trade where the dollar
will be 2nd class...But that was a good question I wouldn't even have an Idea on how much it would take
I guess I would have to ask for donations or something like that..
I do remember when bitcoin was about the little guy from what I've been reading today
Not anymore!!!dam capitalism it always forgets where it came fromBTC
It sounds like good project, helping out of school youth learn about this technology so they can be independent in the future, but I guess you would need a someone who will act as custodian for the donations that will be sent to you since you havent built a good reputation in this forum yet. My guess is your project would fit in gofundme. Using that platform will open the doors to more investors and not limit yourself with Bitcoin enthusiasts only.
2605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex support - 3 wks and counting - does it even exist? on: December 01, 2017, 12:29:48 AM
I have a minor issue with Bittrex I’ve been trying to resolve for 3 weeks now. Despite repeated attempts to communicate from my end all I get are automated email msgs stating it may take up to 24 hrs to receive a response due to increased volume on their site. Understandable, but 3 wks is a pretty big stretch without a single human initiated response to a simple matter...

Are these guys for real? Is this going to be the next Mt Gox or Cryptsy? With the volume the exchange handles on a daily basis, they can’t afford to scale their support staff accordingly?

Why do these exchanges have such difficulty running like real businesses?
Try contacting Ritchie through his twitter account or reach out using the Bittrex twitter account. I noticed that they are active in providing updates about their site through twitter and some of the user issues raised through twitter gets the attention of Bittrex and gets resolved. It may not be instant but at least they can help you.
2606  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Skyrocket to $10,000: Is it Still Worth to Buy? on: November 30, 2017, 09:45:11 PM
Bitcoin Price Skyrocket to $10,000 and reached the highest price of $11.42k on 29 November at 15:00 GMT. Is it still worth to invest money in Bitcoin? Predicted $40,000 by the end of the year 2018.

https://coincrump.com/bitcoin-price-skyrocket/

Comment your 2018 targets!!!  Smiley Shocked
When it reach $15,000 you will raise the same question "Is it still worth to invest money" and if it reach $20,000 someone else will ask the same question if its still good to buy Bitcoin even when the price is already $10,000. While others are already earning and gaining profits because of Bitcoin, doubters are still in doubt. I think its much better to ask, when to Sell.
2607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Taking a loan to invest in cryptocurrencies? on: November 30, 2017, 09:30:01 PM
I am considering taking a loan to buy btc and eth, is it a good idea?
Nope. Bad Idea. You have seen posts of those who lost 20%, 50% and up to 80% of their funds because they made a wrong decision in trading. Even if you say you only plan to buy BTC and ETH. We don't know what will happen in the next coming weeks or months. What if they are right that Bitcoin is a bubble, where do you plan to get the money to pay for the loan. Get a loan if you plan to set up a business that lets you earn money.
2608  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: profit amount? on: November 30, 2017, 09:18:47 PM
What is your daily profit?
What percentage of your invested amount do you earn on an average (per day week or month)
Every time I buy a coin or a token, I always see to it that I put the price I plan to sell it. 3% to 8% profit for me is enough. I already learned my lesson and I paid dearly by losing almost $1,000 USD. Nowadays even if profits is only 1.5%, I sell it right way. I would rater get a small profit than aim to have a lot of money.
2609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin cash is a new value? Are you gonna buy? on: November 30, 2017, 09:09:08 PM
•Bitcoin Cash is a value lower than bitcoin. What are your thoughts about bitcoin?

•Are you one of those people who bought bitcoin cash and see that it will be like bitcoin someday?

As for me I am going to buy but I need to see you thoughts about bitcoin cash
To be perfectly honest, I invested in BCH not because I believe in it but instead I believe that the value of BCH will go up and I was not wrong when I bought some when it was still very much below from the current price and dump it when I see that Bitcoin is making leaps and bounds and alts are starting to turn red.
2610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: November 30, 2017, 09:03:37 PM
It wont work in online casino. Maybe in the real world it will help if you are a math wizard but I think being one with that can remember cards that are already out in the table can help score a win. But having that kind of talent is not applicable in online games even if you adjust he settings that favors you to win, there's still a still a percentage that will make you lose.
2611  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁 LOTTERY 🎁BITSLER'S 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY 🎁 on: November 30, 2017, 08:49:03 PM

With christmas and the Bitsler's 20 billionth bet approaching, more promotion will come !

This sounds interesting. It looks like Bitsler is cooking not just one but two promotions this month of December. 20 Billionth bet is just around the corner and Christmas is just 25 days away. This almost monthly promotions separates Bitsler from other dice sites.
2612  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Day Trade on: November 30, 2017, 08:40:40 PM
Bitcoin pricing are going trough a rollercoaster right now. Are you taking advantage of these ups and downs day trading?

Yes but I dont put too much BTC on my selected pair because Bitcoin price is very unstable lately that it can drop up to $1500 USD in 24 hours but BTC can also recover and go back to previous price. Problem with day trading is you need to act quick and it requires complete focus and monitoring of your investment.
2613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your view about lending coin? on: November 30, 2017, 08:35:59 PM
What is your view about lending coin?
Bitconnect, Hextracoin, Regalcoin, Firstcoin and many more.

I just see profit from lending, where is that profit from?
I think Bitconnect is the pioneer in this concept but their promise of daily interest and almost 1 year of holding your collateral is very risky. You might be able to earn your capital back in two to three months since interest that Bitconnect promises can go as low as Zero and as high as 2%. Vitalik already warned investors about this kind of scheme.
2614  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where do you get your predictions? on: November 30, 2017, 08:26:43 PM
I don't use any tool to predict which coin to buy and which coin to sell. One should analyze which coin has not moved or has moved but horizontally. Coins that moved downward for quite sometime gets my attention then I check RSI to see if its already oversold. Use the tools that your trading platform is using.
2615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [UFC 219: Aldo vs Holloway 2] The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 30, 2017, 08:16:28 PM
I don't think Aldo can beat Holloway this time. After Aldo was beaten by Connor McGregor, Aldo is never the same again. His moves are very calculated like he is trying to avoid mistakes all the time making his moves predictable. Aldo should try to get back in his A game if he wants another shot at McGregor. Alistair is huge and spent a lot of time fighting MMA but his challenger is younger with a good fight stats. Ngannou I think will win this match.
2616  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a bitcoin loan of .5 - 1 btc on: November 30, 2017, 08:09:50 PM
Looking for a loan will return 100 percent interest so if you loan me 1 btc i will return 2 within 30 days. I am willing to provide any collateral that the lender request. Yes I realize I am new here that why i will send you my id and everything. I am looking for a loan so i can start my business. If I don't get it, I understand. Thanks for reading
Since you already mentioned that you are willing to provide a collateral, how about posting it in public on what type of collateral are you planning to use so lenders will not waste their time in sending you a PM asking you the same question. Just in case you are not aware of what are the accepted of collateral's here, try reading this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.msg6311902#msg6311902
2617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Already lost 50% of my capital on: November 30, 2017, 05:16:15 PM
Hello guys. I just want to ask for your opinion or an advice.
I started trading since May 2017. I calculated all my loss, I already lost 50% of my capital  Sad. Some coins are still in hold.
I just want to ask what can you give to me an advice or any learnings  about trading. I'm using bittrex.
We have the same problem but that was a few months ago when I am one of those who believes in those signal groups and buying coins left and right without even checking if its just a P&D. I buy those that are not in green anymore and I check how much is the lest for the past 3 days. Check the back ground of the token if there's any development. I remember Buying GBYTE thinking that its at good price already then all of sudden price dropped, because GBYTE already made an air drop and holders started dumping. Always be on the look out for any news about the token.
2618  Economy / Economics / Re: Could massive use of Electricity be the end or new high for Bitcoin on: November 30, 2017, 05:05:23 PM
Hello everyone,
Today I came across a post https://powercompare.co.uk/bitcoin/ and became wary of potential drawbacks of increased Bitcoin mining to global electricity supply or with its reduced mining because of "caps" on electricity use lead to high appreciation of its value. Because its going to be a concern in coming days if only by 2020 mining will be using entire global electricity supply. Check the article and lets discuss the future of BTC as well as crypto!
If the government bans use of electricity coming from the grid to power up a mining farm, there's always another way to get electricity, either you invest in building your own source of power, maybe a solar farm, run-off river or wind mill or if you are a big time mining farm operator, you can ask independent power producer to build a power station near you and sign a contract on how many MW you need per day and for how many years.
2619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is There Any Guaranteed Security to Cryptocurrency Holders? on: November 30, 2017, 05:00:41 PM

I think there's a huge weakness of cyber currencies or what do we think?

No matter how secured the site is and no matter who designed or developed the security of the site or wallet there is no such thing as 100% secured. Hackers will try to breach any type of wall placed by the person in charge of the site's security. Sad part is you cant even trust the owners of the site themselves because they might be the one who really stole your coins and not the hackers.

If possible, stay away from those online wallets and never use a public computer to make any transaction, specially sending Bitcoins to another BTC address.
2620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i lost 20% of my budget on: November 30, 2017, 12:09:21 PM
why are all these cryptocurrencies are going down?
Its not a rule of thumb that whenever price of BTC goes up, cryptos will start turning red, what happen is its a market reaction that alt holders will start to cash in an enjoy the price surge of BTC but its not forever, it will recover just be patient and hodl. If you have extra and still willing to take the risk, buy more alts since the price is down.
