2601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to trade WITHOUT exchange? on: August 20, 2019, 06:43:46 PM
Since bitcoin is programmable, is it possible that many people just trade through command line under Linux? This way, we could avoid fees related to exchanges.
Sorry but what do you mean? Since bitcoin is "programmable", you think you will be able to convert it in usd by typing some command lined and then converting back? No man, that's not possible, you can't turn apple into orange without exchanging them or selling one and then buying orange. So the same goes on bitcoin, otherwise it's impossible. Believe me no one likes depositing on exchanges where no one knows which time will be hacked + their fees.

Can you provide us with additional information to verify that you are the owner of the account?

If this is the case, please access the account recovery form and send another request, providing us with as accurate information as possible. If you are not sure of a date, do not worry and just try to give as close an estimate as possible.

2603  Other / Meta / Re: Limit signature campaigns on: August 20, 2019, 06:56:23 AM
I mean it's no secret that people shitpost for sig campaigns. I think if we put a cap on their earnings, for example, once you've earned $5, you need to stop posting.

Also, impose bans on account sales on Bitcointalk, so people don't buy accounts to bypass restrictions on Newbie users that are there for a freaking reason

I mean, if you can buy higher ranked accounts, well that kinda defeats the point of having ranking systems now doesn't it?

Sorry, I'm gonna keep this brief. I know there's been plenty of talking on this issue already.
The campaigns which have shitposters are in black list, for example take Yobit, their campaign was banned, so isn't point still reached?
Campaigns aren't like orders, you post on this forum, see news and etc and at the same time get reward for it.
Did you ask something there and didn't you get good answer? I highly doubt that, maybe you would get some shit posts but most people there tries to really help each other, for example take mining and technical discussion sections.
You can easily ignore what you don't want to see.
2604  Economy / Gambling / Re: Piwi247 on: August 20, 2019, 06:18:41 AM
Anytime i do browse a site,it would be more appealing if it doesnt need to register first before you can able to peek out on whats inside. Cry

We thank you for your feedback sir. We appreciate it a lot.
Yes once you to go our site. You have to make a registration first with your
e-mail for you to see the markets, odds and limit. Once you sign-up it will be serve as your "trial and real" account..

Here is the screenshot how it looks like :  https://snag.gy/sBxP91.jpg

You don't need to make a deposit or pay anything If you sign-up and don't want to use the account. It's a free registration. It's better for you to see it in actual so you can explore it to help you decide later on.

Thank you very much.

Please really remove that must to register option, let people to see your website fully without registration. Yeah I know that's a way to push people to register but really, it's better without it.
In overall your website seems good and nice, will test it. By the way, why did you choose name Piwi? Understood 247 means 24/7 but piwi?
I have one question, since you accept skrill and bitcoin, if I deposit with skrill, will I be able to withdraw with bitcoin for example? Or same deposit, same withdraw?
2605  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: what is your opinion on Coinflaire.com ? they claim stable income for miner BTC on: August 19, 2019, 07:58:12 PM
OP it isn't problem that you ask this question but it's really problem that a lot of people can't find difference between legit and scam websites.
Start from the most easy step: Website claims it has up to 8 million users, check alexa rank, they have almost zero users and it's very least visited website.
Nothing to talk about money deposits, who the hell would deposit so much in unknown website.
Also always check domain history.
2606  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY 21 MILLION BITCOIN CANNOT SERVE THE WHOLE WORLD on: August 19, 2019, 05:28:18 PM
At first bitcoin wasn't meant for so massive usage, to be used all over the world, so this coin isn't ready for a lot of reasons: 21 Million supply, what to do with those ones that are lost and are still getting lost? We can do  nothing at the moment and believe me, when a lot of people start using it, we will lose far more than we already have.
Secondly - what about fees? Current fees aren't good for such usage, we need almost zero fee and that's not good news for miners.
In overall bitcoin can't change current currencies, at least at the moment this looks like that.
2607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Becoming More Available? on: August 18, 2019, 06:51:42 PM
It's hard to say whether bitcoin is becoming more available or not because there are both, positive and negative news. For example Indoa banned use of bitcoin and there is jail on that while USA allows you to pay taxes with bitcoin in Ohio state.
So in overall, one accepts while another one declines and finally we don't get important move around it. But still it's great step from USA.
2608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: August 15, 2019, 10:50:41 PM
As far as I remember there was a news about slots, the programmer who did programming job for slot, put combination in it which would lead you into a big profit, only he knew this combination, so it was his little secret.
On another hand, secret in gambling is that you have to forget about strategies and play with luck, only luck can be math, math vs math always fails because casino has higher chances while offering games.
2609  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yobit paying for ads but wont pay signature participants on: August 15, 2019, 07:36:33 PM
Yobit has been running a lot of ads on coinmarketcap but they still haven't been paying people for their signature campaign.
No one will place your ads without payment at first but you have to wear signature for one week and then get payed.
As mentioned, campaign ended. On another hand we all know what is yobit, promoting a shady exchanger isn't a good way. They were fair with campaign users when it was open recently but at the same time a company which doesn't let some of it's customers to withdraw, why won't just ignore sig campaign participants? (in future) Once you are shady, you'll keep using moments and be shady again.
2610  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Bitcoin mixer btcshaker.com mix your coins with integrity. on: August 15, 2019, 06:32:08 PM
This is quite a spectacle. Possibly one of the most poorly structured sites I've seen in a long time, and other than that, there are a lot of holes about the "service" you are offering here.

It just seems some half-arsed web developer saw some large mixers got shut down and then saw a way to profit off new customers by scamming them.

Quote
We apply an innovative algorithm, Bitcoin Mixer 2.0, to uplevel anonymity and money mixing in comparison with classic mixers.
What is this new algorithm? You take away the customers money forever?

Quote
Get cleanest coins from European, Asian and North American cryptocurrency stock exchanges
What does this mean? You deposit the coins into the exchange and withdraw to your customers. You will need to be more clear with everything when you are running a business that is supposed to be trusted with user funds.
Oh yes, it's pretty easy to understand. Imagine what happened when bitmixer went down, a huge wave of mixers came. Why? Because some knew people would start looking for other mixers and it was great time to start a business. scam people. Otherwise don't they knew running a real mixer service would be pain in ass? Yeah, so their attempt was scam, not providing a service. Was bitmixer's owner to close such a money making machine? Or are these new people cleverer than bitmixers owner? They wouldn't even dream the anonimity bitmixer was able to protect itself.
2611  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency companies still can’t open bank accounts on: August 15, 2019, 06:09:37 PM
In reality crypto wasn't created in order to integrate with banks, no, it was created to change that decentralized system and give more freedom to people.
But on another hand can't understanf what's happening, every country's opinion is so different around crypto. In some countries banks try their best to offer crypto services and in some countries it's very hard for banks. To sum up governments must want it to have more control but idk
2612  Economy / Speculation / Re: $3B Ponzi Scheme is Dumping BTC by the Hundreds on: August 15, 2019, 05:23:22 PM
I had actually installed plus token wallet back in May this year after knowing their dividend sharing model and looking at the increase in price. It was giving me a scammy feeling from the beginning so I posted a thread in this forum seeking the advice from the members on 14 May. But surprisingly no one bothered to reply so I dropped the plan of investing their minimum amount, $500. Thank God that I did not invest a dime and uninstalled the app.

Anyway, I think this is a temporary phase in the market. Price is decreasing because of higher supply but that is not going to last forever. I don't think it will be able to create a permanent dent in the market because demand is robust. If you have seen the trend, its very clear that the price is not just falling, it is also increasing to some extent before falling again. So if you stay put at this time and try to score some bitcoins below 10k price, it's going to be beneficial.

But such kind of incidents are actually reminding us the requirement of a strict regulatory policy at international level. Scams are on the rise and without a strict global norm, such incidents will occur again and the scammers will get away it!

Let them, cheap bitcoin for all, this is the chance before the halving bull run...

I guess those coins would be considered dirty? But if they are moving them into exchanges i doubt they care. Wonder why they didn't bother with mixers.

So it was another MLM thing? bring n people and cash out 10x your investment? Heh, so typical.
Cheap bitcoin is good sometimes but the way it gets cheaper isn't good at all. All these ponzi schemes affect bitcoin negatively, both price and reputation and in overall combination of all these makes situation even worse and hard for bitcoin to rice. (You know a lot of people have negative look on bitcoin and when they see there are many ponzi schemes using it, there are crimes with it and etc, ruins bitcoin's reputation and when reputation is ruined, it's hard to see price rise and interest in this coin).
2613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: if you want to win big...accept defeat on: August 15, 2019, 04:48:31 PM
I agree with you OP, the problem is that they don't accept defeat but at the same time there are those who win decent amount of money and in idea, don't plan to lose that money unlikely others who still gamble and then try to recover but some of them still have the same case. Once they won big, then they think let's play with some bucks, that won't damage me. Then they lose that bucks and say, let's play one roll and I'll recover that one buck and go. Finally they still lose everything or lost some money and then go away.
2614  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Could Surpass $15,000 This Week: Max Keiser on: August 15, 2019, 06:30:51 AM
10 days have passed already, where is 15K? Every prediction of these "popular people" is always wrong, I have an impression that all they want is to attract more attention or maybe want to benefit themselves and drop positive seed in overall but seems they always fail and their wrong predictions makes everything even worse. A lot of people on this forum give more accurate predictions than those "popular people" who in reality have no idea where is price going.
2615  Economy / Gambling / Re: How i can connect faucets? on: August 15, 2019, 05:59:28 AM
I think it have to work because someone have make millions with spotify like that

A mobile phone cost here like 30 Dollar with Android
10 x 30 =300 Dollar

For charging its nothing muxh to pay

That means i can make with 10 Phones 24/7 something to earn btv but i dont find the right way

Freebitco isn't that old freebitco where you could earn 0.0001 bitcoin pretty easily (btw I don't say they are bad now, no, they are running pretty well and I like their contests).
Also as you stated, you want to become a millionaire but with what? buying smartphones and collecting faucet rewards? No man, that's not possible. Everyone wants millionaire but no one wants to take afford that being a millionaire requires. If you aren't from wealthy and reputable family, it's very, very hard to achieve that goal. You need to be hard worker, looking for every kind of possibilities to develop, achieve new goals. For example find work, be freelancer, collect money, do so much to buy house and rent, do so much to start your business but you don't know how? Well, with hard work but at the same time you need to be talented. For example some may have great genes and become professional bodybuilder, some people are very, very smart and have huge knowledge, can handle a lot of tasks and have charisma to be a leader, some can write and sing a great songs, some can launch a website and be a best in seo. There are still a lot to say.
2616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie - when to take profit on: August 15, 2019, 05:00:16 AM
This may be a silly question - Ok so I now have £700 invested in bitcoin . Let's say it goes up by £50 - do I remove the profit and leave the working capital( £700 )in bitcoin ? Or do I take the lot?

If I take the lot then when I buy back in It may pay a higher price. What do you suggest?
You may already had take decision and if yes, then let us know what you did, if no, then I'll write my personal opinion.
For quick and nice profit without no further risk, £50 from £700 (for example) is good, acceptable profit. But if you want more profit, you also have to consider that you can't exchange btc/usd when you'll need,, you have to understand that you won't need this money quickly and you'll be okey to keep money invested for months. If you can do second, then why to say no to good profit?
2617  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ip banning, do you think it is pointless? on: August 14, 2019, 05:48:57 PM
Exchanges and casinos block ips from the United States but everyone just uses a VPN, why even block their ips in the first place when you know they are going to do it anyways.  I'm guessing they do it so they have some type of deniability?
A lot of illegal things are prohibited but people do it anyway, why to block them? And finally we all die, so why to work and live? Not a logical question man.
There are a lot of people who are afraid and don't try to gamble with VPN and by using other services, also there are a lot of people who don't know what's VPN and how to use it. In any way, prohibiting of something reduces number of users because of afraid, not much knowledge and other reasons.
2618  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 2000$ USD. Where you invest? on: August 14, 2019, 05:23:08 PM
Let's be a little bit wide in thinking. It depends on where you live, in some countries 2000$ is a really good amount to start a good business, for example food services, you know foods are sold pretty easily, especially if you make good one because it's something that people consume everyday. In some countries, you can also rent 5-6 good apartament and then rent daily on tourists which can really bring you a good profit. But if you live in USA for example. better to really invest in bitcoin or altcoins for at least normal profit because prices here are very high on everything.
2619  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Inception: what Nolan's movie can teach us about blockchain economics on: August 14, 2019, 04:35:04 PM
I mean yeah we have forgot about the fact that bitcoin was suppose to be something we take over the financial fiat system and make a better future for ourselves and stop the greed of wealthy over the poor and stop the wealth gap and wage inequality where CEO makes 600x more than a worker.
Bitcoin was presented as an alternative payment solution where you no longer need a centralized entity such as a bank for example. As far as I'm aware of, nothing (directly at least) was said about wealth inequality.

People have given the reason for Bitcoin to exist their own flavor by saying that it is invented to replace fiat, banks, governments, etc, but that's just not realistic, and deep down they know that too.

Bitcoin has turned into a store of value thingy with little to no respect to actual payments anymore. The market doesn't seem to care looking at how it keeps hitting higher highs so you fundamentally don't need anything else.
I agree with you, bitcoin was really meant to replace banks and this decentralized shit system, give people a more freedom but as alway, bitcoin get under the hand of masses (I amn't against making bitcoin popular but it has it's pros and cons) and as every nice shit, this thing got also abused and turned from it's path. A lot of people look bitcoin as an investment option, hold coins and do nothing (money freeze kills economy to my mind) or use it for bad things.
2620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 14, 2019, 03:27:36 PM
Everyone has good and bad habits, they reveal them pretty well in gambling too.
One of the bad habit is when someone is losing and instead of stopping, it gives them stimul to continue and are super confident that they'll win with last bucks.
Also 5th advice was really very good and essential, when you are angry, you are riskier in gambling and every loses makes you even more riskier which leads to an unstoppable game with more and more high bets.
