The ices are melting, there are a lot of proof about that. When ices melt, all this water warms up the ocean. As you know, oceans are Earths cooling system, it distributes the heat with its currents and spreads around the globe.
If the heat in oceans increases, there may be no current to distribute the heat at all. If that happens, we will suffer by a lot...
+The hurricanes will become and are becoming more and more frequent and stronger.
+Sea level is rising, taking the land back. Almost all cities are located near rivers and oceans due to transportation benefits. They will be flooded.
+Extreme summers and winters. Global warming isn't about sea level rise, it means epically hot summers and extremely cold winters.

There are a number of false claims in your post.

1. No current to distribute  the heat.

That is impossible. Current, either in air or liquids such as water, is the inevitable result of temperature differences. Those are inevitable given the variance in solar to different latitudes, the tilt of the earth and the elliptical orbit.\

2. Cities near rivers and oceans will be flooded.

If so they are in the wrong places.

3. Epically hot summer and extremely cold winters.

No, an increase in heat to the globe could not possibly mean "extremely cold winters." On the average, winters would be hotter by the same amount summer days were hotter.

AOC: Miami Will Not Exist ‘In a Few Years’ Without Green New Deal

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) said Wednesday that Miami has only a few years left on this planet.

At an NAACP forum, the democratic socialist touted the Green New Deal, her radical climate change plan many have criticized as unrealistic. Economists, investors, and energy industry experts have frequently noted the plan’s astronomical costs and the unreliability of renewable energy, but Ocasio-Cortez said her critics are the ones who are “not realistic.”

“When it comes to climate change, what is not realistic is not responding … with a solution on the scale of the crisis—because what’s not realistic is Miami not existing in a few years,” she said to applause.

“We need to be realistic about the problem,” she added.

Less than 12 years, obviously?

I believe before AOC became a Puppet of Soros she was a bartender.

There is only one thing we need to know.

Did her bar have air-conditioning?

Just going to throw a wrench into both sides and leave. The moon's local gravity is really uneven. It absolutely doesn't have a uniform gravitational pull or a uniform mass distribution. An idea of why that is can be read about here, but feel free to make your own hollow related theory.

http://news.mit.edu/2013/an-answer-to-why-lunar-gravity-is-so-uneven-0530

Heres a PDF of one of my favorite beginners astrophysics books if you are looking for interesting whatnot. Its the least math intensive book on the subject that I've ever seen and an overall enjoyable read. Its from the 1980s though so there are a few consequences of not yet knowing the results from dark matter and dark energy, but overall still relevant.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/lk4wa9nnad4qn54/%28A_Series_of_books_in_astronomy%29_Frank_H._Shu_-_The_physical_universe__an_introduction_to_astronomy-University_Science_Books_%281982%29.pdf

Gravitational variations on the lunar surface extend to 1/2%, which is huge. Interestingly, there have been found three or four "frozen orbits," which are stable orbits and sort of thread the needle through these areas with variations.

That is a darn good reference. Unusual approach and thinking on the part of the instructor. I may wind up reading the entire thing.

There's no need for you to post ramblings such as that.

Consider that ancients found out, by trial and error, the max size arches that could be built. End of that subject, isn't it? Smiley

Planets and moons are ROUND AND SOLID. There is a reason for that.

You are welcome to go read Timinshenko, Strength of Materials and see why you are wrong.

http://www.engineering108.com/Data/Engineering/Mechanical/SM/Strength_Of_Materials_parts_IandII-Timoshenko.pdf

Then Newton and Kepler, maybe.

You are unusually simple today. Or are you simply trying to keep people from thinking?

Ancients didn't build arches on the moon. Ancients didn't build arches from scratch without any planet... like in space, as might have happened. Has anyone taken into account the balance of gravitational pull from opposite sides, to show much lighter weights for mass ratios, and how such would affect various materials in arches?....

actually, all such things have been really, REALLY studied. Work that has been done is easily extendible to conjectures such as hollow spheres vs sizing, and a "square planet". One that I personally like is a concept of creating a hollow sphere from a metallic asteroid, then slowing it down so it drops into earth's atmosphere. Would that create an object that would float forever? Maybe, but the shape of the object to do it, as it turns out, would not be a sphere.

For me, In our country (Philippines)  global warming is real because in my experience its getting hotter not like before.

Everywhere that is the case. Even here in India, the summers have become unbearable. People are getting sun-strokes and other heat-related complications more often. Another negative impact is that the droughts are also getting more frequent, and the agricultural yields are going down.

Really?

All those effects are from a 1C rise over the last century or so ?

https://community.data.gov.in/maximum-temperature-of-india-from-1901-to-2014/

If you think your summers have become unbearable, why does your own government not agree with you?

most people say the global heat is real, because it proved to be a lot of disasters, especially many forest fires that occurred not caused by human activities but the fire arising from the heat of the earth

Fire arising from the heat of the earth?

Wood combusts at 451F. I don't think one degree difference would affect what forests do at all.

It's well understood that after unusually rainy periods when a lot of brush grows, a year or two later in a dry season that brush may catch fire.

No relation at all to any global climate change issue.

I believe it was a conspiracy.
It is so difficult in a country like the US to let an airplane fly so low in a place with so many skyscrappers around.
Everything seems so wrong in this story, in a country with so many security levels...

"Let an airplane fly so low"?

Has it occurred to you that the radical Muslim hijackers did not follow the rules?

https://foreignpolicyblogs.com/2019/09/05/sheikh-mirza-yezidi-girl-murdered-inside-un-camp/#disqus_thread

The Al Hol refugee camp in Syria, which is being managed by the United Nations houses more than 80,000 ISIS members, in addition to a few hundred Yazidi slaves still being held by the ISIS members. A few of the slaves have managed to escape, but a few days back a Yazidi girl was caught while trying to escape and she was beaten to death by the ISIS terrorists.

The most alarming news is that somewhere around 600 and 700 of the Yazidi slaves have been transported to Turkey (where the president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is sympathetic to the ISIS), in order to harvest their organs. Nothing have been heard about these children after arriving in Turkey.

As per the estimates given by Yazdi activists, 3,487 out of 6,417 Yazidis who were kidnapped by the ISIS have been freed so far. But the fate of the remaining 2,930 remains unknown. Most of the aid agencies are refusing to help them, as the Yazidis are refusing to convert to Christianity or Islam after leaving their religion (which is one of the oldest religions in existence).

I "got it" as to why the Yazdis were not given US refugee status and brought to the US during the Obama years, he having some weird pro-muslim sympathies.

But I do not know why they are not NOW being given such status. They certainly deserve it. And they could be given  jobs immediately helping build the wall!

He claims he resigned.   You believe Trump??
Resigning and being fired are often the same thing.

Also - A letter of resignation is not effective unless accepted. Some bosses get a letter of resignation on the first day of hire, and hold on to it until they want to execute it.

Breaking news which came out a couple of hours ago.

John Bolton, Trumps National Security Advisor, has been fired by Trump. Bolton is known for being a hawk and supporting regime change in Iran, North Korea, etc. Bolton had feuded with many in the administration on many occassions, including President Trump, Sec of State Mike Pompeo, and so on and so forth.

Would love to hear what people think about this firing, as this really did come out of left field.

I'd reinstall Flynn. But that's just me...

Can you imagine the raucous autistic screeching that would occur if Trump pardoned him and appointed him to a cabinet position? The funniest part is it would just draw more attention to him being steamrolled illegally.

I'd love it. Reverse Kavanaugh tactic.

Actually I think your bluff has been called, and your antics and theatrics are on the line as true or false.

People here who have experience with the law and with the tax code know that your ideas on this subject are ridiculous.

However, some are not and they could be harmed if they listened to you.

Consider the court system. Often a judge or the attorneys in a case will site some other case from years before to make a point for upholding a certain position in the case at hand. And adjudications are often made based on these other cases.

But none of the other cases fit the current case exactly. If the defendant had the ability to speak in court - or maybe to even think - he might bring this up as a point for not using examples in other similar cases. If he did bring it up in the right way, it could change the whole outcome in his case.

The point? If you want to do a trial such and such a way, you are going to get such and such results. If 99% of the trials are done in such and such ways, there will be such and such results.

I am not suggesting that the law and tax code can be overcome (so to speak) using the standard approach. What I am saying is that when one uses other laws, codes, and court cases in other ways, to fight an IRS case, the outcome is essentially guaranteed to be different than the standard.

It's difficult to find court wins against the IRS, of the kind I am talking about, because the IRS often drops the case when it sees that they are going to lose. Often the judge or a prosecutor will dismiss the case when they understand that losing it could set precedent against the IRS. So, even if the records of the case exist, they don't show anything definitive.

The law is the law. All I am saying is that the law in the OP links is sufficient to stop not only IRS taxes, but even property taxes when handled the right way. If you don't want to believe that there is a possibility, so you don't really even look or consider, that's fine. Your choice. Or maybe you just don't have time to study it.

Cool
What you are doing is playing lawyer.

But you don't know anything about it.

For example, take one of your favorite mantras. Jury Nullification.

Here's an unbiased look at the subject. Wikipedia.

Pretty much shows that anyone that goes for it has at best a 1-5% chance, doesn't it?

Actually, if we are going to talk about this thread from a standpoint of reality, we haven't even stated how hollow hollow would have to be to be considered hollow. I mean, is moon hollow if the hollow is only 1 mile in diameter? Would that kind of hollow not mean hollow in our sense if it was only 100 miles under the surface.

If we are going to talk this in a sensible way, we are going to have to define what we mean when we say hollow... and maybe a whole lot of other definitions, as well.

Cool

There is a hole at least a nanometer in diameter somewhere in the interior of the Moon.

This I can say with scientific certainty.

The hole in the center of the Moon is larger than the brains of people that debate whether there is a hole at the center of the Moon.

Clueless again. You are so off in left field.
I dont know how else to explain it to you. I'm sure everyone reading this has figured it out.

But I'll try one more time before i leave you in your fantasy world.

I have no attorney to arrange this.

I do, however, represent the state in a 25sq mi area for 40hrs a week.  What I am telling you is... come commit a violation/crime of your choice where I have jurisdiction, in my district, while I'm working. You choose your action, one you think you can get out of with your red flag list.

I'll represent the state's interest. And you play your red flag theory.  Since we are both on this forum offering opposite opinions of your theory, we can post the results for the others.

Folks - whoever reads this - I apologize. It wasn't my idea to get PopoJeff all riled up like this. Now, everybody will have to be careful in his jurisdiction.

If he is DPS, or some other form of State cop, he will be out to ticket anybody he can, just because he is riled with me. So, be careful to be law abiding within his district.

No more going 2 or 3 mph over the speed limit. No more screeching tires even a little. Check your lights to be sure they are all working. And be sure to use your turn-signal for every turn, even if you don't think he is watching.

Most of all, get to the OP and follow the links. Study hard so that you know how to beat him in court when he bothers you for essentially nothing.

Again, sorry for getting him this riled at everybody. I know. He's riled at me. But he will take it out on everybody hoping that he might somehow get me. Does he have police brutality websites against him already?

Cool

2634  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Xenophobic attacks on Africans by South Africans, what's your take on this. on: September 09, 2019, 11:35:45 PM
What in gods fuck is this.

Holy shit why isn't the media reporting on this happening. Or at least, why isn't this front page news like it should be? I haven't seen any of this and this is a horrible thing to see in the world.

Not liking immigrants, while despicable, is one thing. But burning them alive and physically assaulting them (and even killing them) in the streets is another thing. This is a whole other level of how horrible humans can be to one another.

This is a great demonstration of why you should include a wider range of sources for your topical information. There is no such thing as bad information, only useless interpretations of it. The key is recognizing the source and its motives.

This isn't me saying that I don't go into other news sources, this is me stating that I think it's horrible that the MSM companies avoid these sorts of news stories.

Also - most of the news sources that you post (or people on this forum at least) are from shitty blog sites, zerohedge, etc.

The media does avoid reporting on events in S Africa, many of which are quite interesting or news worthy.  S Africa is in my opinion a success compared to Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Libera, many other places. In my opinion this is because whites have been down there for a LONG TIME, 400-500 years. And that means their cultural influences have been there. Hence, productive industries and a fairly high standard of living.

Climate change is bad, and we can help change this for good by doing some simple things; 1. Do not burn plastic bags and avoid using it. 2. Reduce your carbon emission ( you can start by not eating meat, use bicycles instead of cars, plant a tree).

But this other guy says we need to eat humans to save the planet from climate change.

Who to believe??

"Footages were doctored?"

Back then there wasn't any photoshop.

There was a bit of live terrible quality footage from the Moon, but the good stuff was brought back in film cans, and later developed.

Oh, and the flag only waved when they were moving the supports around and getting it stable.

US taxes are completely voluntary!
Why are people been arrested because they refuse to pay tax in the USA? In every country, people that have no such of income and has no home or any taxable assets are completely exempted from tax.
The recommendations op is given will definitely going to land someone that try to do that in prison. Paying of tax is good if the governments and tax officers are not embezzled the money and the proceed from tax are used to build social amenities.

It's actually not illegal to not pay your taxes in the USA.  You can't be arrested for refusing to pay.

Lying on your taxes is a different story.

Wasn't aware of this. Quite surprising actually.
Don't believe nonsense you might see on the internet.

But I like hydrogens! Yes, I like hydrogens injected into ICE engines. Most of all when they are safely attached in chains until the moment their power is needed. Carbon makes a great carrier for those hydrogens. If we linked the carbon atoms together to form a chain, we could have hydrogens all around on that chain and it would be safe, right up until we wanted to combine it with Oxygen.

Wait...

Did I just invent gasoline?
