Medical people are coming out of the woodwork, so to speak, all over the world where there is freedom to speak, and showing us that the pandemic is false panic propagated by people who want us to believe a lie.

No they are not. I know people this pandemic has killed. I have a relative who works with the patients who are sick from it.

Pics, or it didn't happen!....

Actually, there's an aspect of this matter that I would like to mention to you. It's the take on your various conspiratorial perspectives. (A) Oh, but they could have died of something else... (B) Oh, but the powers that be are inflaming the crisis beyond any reason (C)Oh, but the low number of people in hospitals...
(D) whatever else you've mentioned that I may have not paid attention to...

Namely, that these things for most half way intelligent people are not "False" but are "also true." None of them are contradictory to the basic reality of a major pandemic. None of them I disagree with. All of them I disagree with if alleged to be "all that there is."

At least you are not pushing quack cures.
1662  Other / Politics & Society / Re: University Study Finds Fire Did Not Cause Building 7's Collapse on 9/11 on: April 03, 2020, 06:11:06 PM
^^^ Yes, but, the proof is in that 9/11 was a demolition activity from the inside.

badecker.

WITNESS video footage of the building 7 shows structural defects. and a collapse of the south side (left of video) several seconds first

the conspiracy geeks computer model does not
thus the computer model does not represent actual events.

the WITNESS video footage of buildin 7 showed no boom boom boom that comes with demolition charges.
those are two FACTS that are plane to see..

the conspiracy site you wish you believe in. showed 2 computer models. 1 of how a building is supose to callapse down on itself. and one that shows it leaning over which is not a normal construction thing.
the conspiracy geeks want to tell a story that the fall down model only occurs in demo. and leaning only occurs non demo.....

That building 7 was designed originally one way, then over time was hollowed out to create a huge interior atrium. Guess what? They took a lot of the supporting structure away when they did that. There were questions about that work, too. But it was signed off on and done.

....
functionally countries can survive on their own.
The UK can and right now proving they can make their own ventilators when the NEED arises.

the problem is that being able to get it elsewhere makes it less of a NEED to be self sustainable

..
we are not reliant on other countries. so we are not slave to china. but luxury consumerism just makes people want things from different places.. its a 'want' not an 'need' problem

This sounds logical on first glance, but actually it's not. We really do have a worldwide, interlinked economy.

A classic example of this is the making of a pencil. Here is one version of that story.

https://cpb-us-east-1-juc1ugur1qwqqqo4.stackpathdns.com/cobblearning.net/dist/c/1326/files/2013/11/PDF-Pencil-Activity-Presentation-Interdependency-2ai1m1a.pdf

At the same time, the recent pandemic has brought to everyone's attention that nations should to some extent, and on certain issues, be capable of some level of self-reliance.

No (again).  No to someone's assertions on the internet regarding how to make a workable filter material.

Testing is required, and I am of the opinion it can be done without "sophisticated equipment and reagents."

Conversely, if it does require special gear, then prove it.

Well, then conduct that testing yourself if you believe that is not hard task for your to test the   virus penetration  through materials. The stuff  used in my home designed filter has been described above. But before you start I would advise you to familiarize yourself  with requirements  for  such kind of procedures. https://www.astm.org/Standards/F1671.htm  Good luck in testing.

Sure, thanks. I consider it very important to actually know what you are doing, instead of relying on guesswork. Looks like other people are looking into it.

we get it badecker wants to show this forum 'the other side of the story'
problem is he is grabbing at the shelves of the sci-fi/fantasy section of the library

we know badecker is super religious
in a library there is sections that talk about religion philosopically. some have it in the childrens section where its made into child friendly stories. some have it in horror and disaster sections like stories of plagues/noahs ark..

but badecker is only grabbing at the fantasy/scifi section for all his knowledge about everything.
he wouldnt know where the philosophy section was even if someone pointed him in its direction.

let alone know where to look for actual fact

Badecker has so far created three separate threads on this forum each on a "miracle cure" for Covid-19.

1) a licorice extract
2) MMS2
3) vitamin C

And then, claimed that the symptoms of covid-19 were really those of zinc deficiency, using a chart with bogus information. Any medical study, and most nurses could immediately state the symptoms of zinc deficiency.
1667  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Health Professionals and COVID-19 - PROOF on: April 03, 2020, 12:00:21 PM
This is bald faced lying on your part. Lying by omission. You are leaving out the next paragraph in that article, aren't you...

The vitamin C is administered in addition to such medicines as the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine, the antibiotic azithromycin, various biologics and blood thinners, Weber said.

https://nypost.com/2020/03/24/new-york-hospitals-treating-coronavirus-patients-with-vitamin-c/

Are you calling me a liar? LOL. All I did was report a chunk of news. However, the article is right. Medical people are disobeying their superiors to get things done, and their superiors won't fire them, because things would become very obvious about the CV lies.

Here it is again with you. You call me a liar because I am showing the truth that you don't like? You can't change the truth no matter how much you want it to be different. My hope is that the people will wake up to this big CV medical/government scam before things are destroyed beyond repair.

Cool
I'm calling you a liar because that's what you are. You misrepresented the article's contents, didn't you?

The very next paragraph that you left out I have cited above. It is what it is, deal with it.

You are becoming upset. You can't seem to even quote properly in your posts. What's the matter? Don't like the idea that you can't defend against something that isn't there to defend against?

The article is the article. You are welcome to post the whole thing. It isn't my article. I was simply reporting on it. I suppose you have gone to the author and badmouthed him in whatever way you can.

The point is that people are starting to act against the unreasonable Coronavirus blab. And it is happening right in the hospitals... where people are overriding their superiors, just  to save lives.

Cool
[/quote]Right, the article is the article. You posted a selected part of it and made a claim, which is totally different than what the article said, and I corrected your fake news. And nothing in the articles supports the nutty assertion "people are starting to act against the unreasonable Coronovirus blab". You made that up 100%.
1668  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US is The Real Sick Man of the World on: April 03, 2020, 11:53:13 AM
The CoviD-19 has become the world pandemic that has never occurred before, global emergency situation that last time was 70 years ago, at the Second World War. At this point, when the world is collapsing, the current US government is not doing the job that they are appointed to.

You seem like a fool, but I'll give you benefit of the doubt.  What is the job the US Government is supposed to be doing?  Keeping their citizens stupid?

So now the forum has wackos claiming it's far less of a problem that claimed, and wackos claiming it's far more of a problem than claimed.

How about that?

OMG.. tvbcof and badecker still sound like they think this 'lockdown' period is the curing stage..
where its all over in a couple weeks
such fools they are

seriously will these fools wise up. isolation is the delay before the storm
at the end of lockdown the UK wont be saying 'ok we had 10k deaths compared to 500k' its all over

....
i know tvbcof doesnt are about reality. and in 12 months time when proven wrong he wll shrug it off like an ass, as if he just said it as a random idea with no conviction in the first place.
but its guys like him that try to spread lies, hoping the lie becomes fashionable/trendy so that he can get some internet fame for starting it. no matter the consequences.. idiot

I agree with all that but of course there are still problems with the models. This is an interesting discussion on the topic.

1670  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Don't buy facemasks for the coronavirus! on: April 03, 2020, 11:45:25 AM

You look scary. But in a medical Metter like this, the choice of protection cannot be based on scary looking.

Better to be live and look scary than be handsome in coffin. Some life-hack for you. Instead of using costly 3M filters attached to 3M respirator you can place small pieces of medical cotton  into compartments with membranes  for inhaled breath and cover them with the shreds of papers used for ULPA filters. In turn that coverings cab be fixed tightly  by rubber bands of appropriate diameter. I'm using bands cut off from the end of children balloons.

Good comment, but why should I believe you are correct?

If you can show a simple method to test the efficiency of your materials when used as described, that would be quite valuable. I'm good with making filters for the masks, but if I run out and make them, I'll have devised a testing method to insure that my product does perform adequately. Otherwise a person would be relying on sheer guess work and essentially killing himself.

Well, such testing methods require sophisticated equipment and reagents. I hardly think you have that at home. However you can switch on your logic and compare the size (~ 0.12  µm,) of Covid with that one for pores (~0.1  µm) in ULPA  paper which is widely used in bacteria oriented filters. Besides, airborne viruses have a tendency  to form conglomerates that increases the dangerous particle size by 2x-3x times. You  can advance and use 2-3 layers of that paper. The 0.5 - 1 cm thick piece of medical cotton adds extra protection layer. Sure DYOR.

No (again).  No to someone's assertions on the internet regarding how to make a workable filter material.

Testing is required, and I am of the opinion it can be done without "sophisticated equipment and reagents."

Conversely, if it does require special gear, then prove it.

Wait...

You mean there's a difference between

That chart is bogus. That does not show typical symptoms of zinc deficiency.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zinc_deficiency#Signs_and_symptoms

And you think Wikipedia isn't bogus? LOL!

No, wikipedia is only an example of a common understanding of the symptoms of zinc deficiency. The same facts can be found in any diagnostic medical reference. Regardless, do millions of people suddenly develop zinc deficiency? TO the extent that people I know are suddenly dying of this illness?

German journalist goes to coronavirus 'emergency' hospital - no one there. What a scam![/b]

Hospitals are empty because elective surgery and other work is being postponed. Of course, duh. Who would want to go to a hospital today.

This is a case of you are being lied to and you are believing and repeating lies.

So, you agree that Wikipedia doesn't really know the truth.

If hospitals are empty, should we be checking the morgue?

You sound like you are working hard behind the scenes to make the fake CV thing into a method to take down nations. Who are you working for?

Cool
You've been shown here to have posted a comparison chart that's bogus.

If I'm wrong, show the facts. Look them up and post them. Otherwise, deal with it.

Since it isn't bogus, you don't know that it is bogus.     Cool
Show facts that support it, instead of babbling nonsense.

Easy enough, look up the symptoms of zinc deficiency.

humans need many minerals.. thats not the issue..
but nutjobs like badecker are trying to talk people into megadosing more then the body needs. and doing so at the wrong times when the body doesnt need it

he does not realise if a human only needs 100mg of Vit C and he is trying to sell idea's of needing 8000mg a day. he is not seling the healthy option of fruit and veg eating. he is selling the commercial profiteering marketting plan of chemical companies..

yet he does not even realise it.he pretends to be against big pharma/anti-gov. yet is actually playing the same game
and thats what makes me laugh and facepalm him the most

You have a point there. Whether it's megadose of C, colloidal silver, MMS2, H2O2, each and every thing he promotes has a commercial vendor behind it who makes big profits with false claims.

And those four are not the only ones. He's promoted over a dozen "supplements" with various claims.

CoronaHoax is expanding. Roll Eyes
I just ignore it along with all the other fake news.

Here's what you can do if you have any actual real health problems:
1.Colloidal Silver:

"Colloidal silver is a commercially sold product that contains microscopic flakes of pure silver. Usually the flakes are suspended in demineralized water or another liquid.  Colloidal silver is often touted as an antibacterial agent and a topical wound dressing. "

Colloidal Silver will cure 'CoronaVirus' and other imaginary illnesses, real diseases such as Flu virus or Diabetes, and Aging.

2.  Chicken Noodle Soup.

3.  Wash your hands, dummy

Quack-quack-quack. Quackwatch says that's totally bogus.

https://quackwatch.org/related/PhonyAds/silverad/

In 2019, searching Amazon.com for “colloidal silver” yields hundreds of products, many of which are promoted with false claims that they support the immune system and/or are effective against various types of infections.

Critical Studies and Case Reports
In 1995, an herbal distributor named Leslie Taylor tested nine commonly marketed colloidal silver products available at health-food stores and concluded:

Two of the products were contaminated with microorganisms.
The amount of silver suspended in solution varied from product to product and would gradually decrease over time.
Only five products actually showed antibacterial activity in a laboratory test. To perform the test, she prepared a culture plate with Staphylococcus aureas bacteria, which can cause infections in humans. She then placed a drop from each product on the plate and used disks of two common antibiotics as controls. After eight hours of incubation, she found that bacterial growth had been inhibited around the antibiotics and four of the products.
Of course, the fact that a product inhibits bacteria in a laboratory culture doesn’t mean it is effective (or safe) in the human body. In fact, products that kill bacteria in the laboratory would be more likely to cause argyria because they contain more silver ions that are free to deposit in the user’s skin.

FDA laboratory studies have found that the amount of silver in some product samples has varied from 15.2% to 124% of the amount listed on the product labels. The amount of silver required to produce argyria is unknown. However, the FDA has concluded that the risk of using silver products exceeds any unsubstantiated benefit [3]. So far, eleven cases of argyria related to silver products have been reported:

In October 1996, the FDA proposed to ban the use of colloidal silver or silver salts in over-the-counter products [11]. A Final Rule banning such use was issued on August 17, 1999 and became effective September 16th. The rule applies to any nonprescription colloidal silver or silver salt product claimed to be effective in preventing or treating any disease [12]. Silver products can still be sold as “dietary supplements” provided that no health claims are made for them. During 2000, the FDA issued warnings to more than 20 companies whose Web sites were making illegal therapeutic claims for colloidal silver products. Since then it has issued at least 33 more.

And Capitalism!  At the same time!
Just the bad parts of Capitalism.

Do you have some examples of Capitalism that is being pushed due to this crisis?

I think the reason it got so much support from republicans is because they think it could prevent the economy from collapsing from the bottom, which would take much longer to recover from.

In other words, the socialist bill could result in a much stronger economy a couple years from now, which means we have more 'room' for more capitalism sooner.

Of course, we don't know for sure the economy would collapse without the bill, or that it won't with it.  But - the fact it got so much support from Republicans really says something (I don't think they're all secret socialists - but if you do that would completely negate everything I just said)

The way I read it, it's an attempt to avoid a repeat of something like the Great Depression.

That sort of thing really happens in the minds of the people, not in the basic economic facts. Can things go back to normal? Semi normal? How about normal without cruise ships?

The government is trying its best to encourage a positive attitude in the people. I have to agree and support that.

IV Vitamin C "Widely Used" to Treat COVID-19 in NY Hospitals

For years regulatory agencies like the FDA have subtly targeted the use of such things as intravenous vitamins.

One method they use to target the fabric of culture in which people utilize simple, naturopathic remedies is the stringent enforcement of any regulation they can think of. It seems that the FDA targets regulatory violations supposedly committed by those who deal in naturopathic medicine far more than violations from Big Pharma.....

"The patients who received vitamin C did significantly better than those who did not get vitamin C," he said.

"It helps a tremendous amount, but it is not highlighted because it's not a sexy drug." (source)[/glow]
