Jesus H. Christ, I was ready to transfer everything out of Cryptsy and now it's a false alarm?

Yep, just leave your precious in the hands of a dude who went from building websites to operating a cryptocurrency exchanging now living in an over million-dollar home since March of this year while his clients have to jump through hoops to conduct simple withdraws, now accordingly via a tier system illegally put in place.

The benefits of running a 'US-Based' company outside the US

Is it possible you and cryptsy get the TIX chain up and running again?

Have mullick do it, he's the one that made it

@IGS: Still waiting on an answer about a Linux Qt, that being said I am wanting to try diff options to get my win client working again. Where can I download the chain outside of the client so when I do run the client it's maybe backlogged like 100 blocks instead of 40+ k like it is now or w/e.

2646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MrPUMP - your guide to what whales are doing on: November 02, 2015, 12:49:38 AM
Mr Pump = Bobsurplus

Hrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm interesting, something to think about huh?

No, Bobsurplus made a post the other day and it got promptly deleted by Mr. Pump. Bobsurplus isn't the only person orchestrating pump groups. Also, their writing styles are vastly different.

It's vegasguy. Anyone who believes this retard deserves to hand him their money
iGotSpots = serial scammer coins with endless recycle bin

iGotSpots is a scammer who made a few coins, dumped on people and made them loose money. If you listen to that clown or put single satoshi into his coins.. Oh well.. Skip his shitty QUIZ/PRIME, do not even look at those.

Vegaysguy.. i had no idea who that is. Seems dude who made FLY coin and BAN.
Believe me none of my members ever got tips on investing single BTC into this lil volume stuff.

Seems iGotSpots is scared of us dumping the project hes trying to now launch undercover without his name directly associated.
So scammer - now when its on i will write publicly its your coin and trash your dump attempt.

Bobsurplus was smarter than you to STFU and not enter here. Now its time for you to get your little scammy fingers chopped off.

Mr PUMP.

PS. Group still has places, this week we start HUGE pump. Last moments to join for right aay action!

Oh stop it

Spots is a good guy Smiley

Full dox coming soon. Delete this post too as many times as you want, I'll just have a bot put it back forever Smiley
2647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ◀ PrimeChain | Verify Prime Numbers | LESS THAN 500 COINS CREATED PER DAY ▶ on: October 28, 2015, 02:29:21 AM
Using large prime numbers as a proof of work is a valid and useful concept.

Still to make a cryptocurrency using a bitcoin styled blockchain around this idea is one with many challenges.

Known challenges:

Other projects unrelated to cryptocurrency have a large head start.

The validation process is cumbersome (just as in the other projects I mentioned)

i.e. see these for examples http://www.mersenne.org

https://primes.utm.edu/primes/

I think it impossible to find & validate 'blocks' on any regularly scheduled basis.
So while bitcoins average block time is ten minutes a cryptocurrency based on this type proof of work would likely have blocks spaced at much longer times.

Finally when considering a project like this I recall at one time RSA used to pay bounties out a long time ago.
They stopped so I believe private and government firms have in their posession hardware & software that is not public domain and vastly superior to public domain resources.

Just a few items to consider.

I was referring to this post. This is the reason Primes simply give bonuses and the actual work is done via staking to maintain the blockchain

I am open to using new formulas if they can be 100% accurate
2649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: iGotSpots Scam Dev on: October 21, 2015, 09:30:11 PM
Ok - I was done with this thread but Original Bucks -
Get real - sold $1 per coin and 4 weeks later merged into with 3 other coins
(2 were garbage he owned a ton of)  $10,000 in his pocket

Said he could not get it on an exchange yet brags about knowing
all exchange guys and they will do anything for him. Have not noticed him
having any trouble getting any of his many new coins on exchanges.

Even accounting for the stakes for Original Bucks, it was a 1 to 8 reduction
of capital for the Original Bucks buyers. For me, $300 in - $24 out and,
I didn't wait till new Bucks died but got average prices.

Creating an expensive coin, doing nothing with it, merging in a 4 weeks,
no options for Original Bucks holders - no market, no refund (sorry changed my mind)
just a cash grab.

Scam - I think it qualifies - ethics requires someone to make decisions in the best interest of others.
He did not operate in the best interest of Orignal Bucks holders - just himself.

God, I hate this thread - everyone just let it die.
“Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in. ..." Godfather Movie- (for the younger member)

Not even close to true. The vast majority of people, yourself included, traded MMXIV in for original BUCKS. They did not just hand me money

2655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ponzi vs Pyramid vs PoW vs PoS on: October 16, 2015, 04:22:43 PM
A ponzi pays people back with future investor money and a pyramid pays you for recruiting others to do the actual work. It's pretty easy to know BTC is neither when you actually know what both of those words mean
2656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Big Question.. Fair Initial Distribution on: October 15, 2015, 09:11:21 PM
What do you think about the initial distribution of LTC?

Fairest launch ever, that's what I was thinking.
