2641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC anonymously on: December 05, 2021, 12:32:44 PM
I am wondering why too a lengthy process? You can use peer-to-peer exchange where doesn't require KYC. And most likely even you can buy from the forum currency exchange section and mix it through a reputed mixer. So your address will remain anonymous and can hold as you want. Storing Bitcoin into a hardware wallet would be great, it's secure and anonymous as well.

You will lose too many fees if you follow the process you described. Rather than you might look local exchange and mix it.
2642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Falling due to FUD (Fear Uncertainty Doubt) ? on: December 04, 2021, 07:12:33 PM
Where did you find the news? From any cryptocurrency portal? Anyone could make a thread in the forum or Reddit. That doesn't mean everything is true. It's quite impossible to stop using private wallets especially non-custodial wallets. Perhaps the government could prevent using custodial wallets or exchange. But can't prevent using your wallet at all. I don't think this was the reason for the recent dump. It happened suddenly and look like pre-planned. Very big whales played with Bitcoin in my opinion. Otherwise, I can't recall such as dump Bitcoin price. Adding a source would be better once you create this type of thread. So that we can realize whether it's potential or not.
2643  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is getting more bearish, what is the trigger? on: December 04, 2021, 07:00:48 PM
First of all, I don't believe this kind of chart where people could draw anything. This pullback was expected for me as I discussed in a few threads. But to be honest this much pullback wasn't expected and it's quite surprising for all of us I think. I thought Bitcoin would play around the $50K zone and perhaps we can short it that zone. When I saw the chart today, I become speechless. I didn't fear to take entry though I know it would recover quickly.

Still, I am wondering what was the exact reason behind this dump. I hadn't found any strong reason or news sources. I am assuming this was a whales game to accumulate at a lower price. So that they could make billions from here.
2644  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never sell for a loss - is a Myth !! on: December 04, 2021, 06:45:27 PM
Trading actually needs real-time experience to take a real-time decision. Sometimes should sell even in the loss to prevent a big loss. I learned it from my previous mistakes. I know every trader has different strategies to make a profit. But preventing loss is one kind of profit if you can buy back in more dip. I had bought a shit coin and didn't sell it at a small loss and eventually, I lost everything. Almost my portfolio become 20X down.

So I won't agree those are thinking never sell in the loss. A shit coin I am holding for 3 years due to the thought of never selling in the loss that drives me huge loss eventually. Always important to take real-time decisions based on the situation.
2645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I only have 0.001 Bitcoin is that okay? on: December 04, 2021, 02:49:02 AM
As a beginner, the amount you are holding is fine as long as you can afford it. It doesn't matter how much amount you are holding, the matter is understanding Bitcoin technology and related stuff. Since you are holding the amount it would be worth more than your expectation once a day. But you have to learn to properly store it and how to handle Bitcoin properly. A good practice would help you to prevent unwanted incidents.

I will suggest using a non-custodial wallet. If you aren't aware of it please use search the forum button. Not only for that, for anything you need to know use the forum search button. If you failed to find the desired answer just ask the community.
2646  Other / Meta / Re: [Request to mod/admin] Can I create a topic on "other language"? on: December 03, 2021, 05:48:42 PM
Quote
If you post threads outside of your own local thread you will be banned.
Allow me to counter that with another quote:
This is a self-moderated topic. If you do not want to be moderated by the person who started this topic, create a new topic.

C'mon LoyceV, You made my day, lol. Both statements conflict with each other.

I do not support banning accounts to create a new thread in the local language. It's quite impossible to discuss everything in a thread that is self-moderating as well. I know it's hard to detect something from a new thread if someone abusing forum rules, but shouldn't prevent someone who wants to contribute to the forum.

However, a statement from a moderator would help OP.
2647  Other / Meta / Re: if they banned signature ads would this forum still exist? on: December 03, 2021, 05:38:08 PM
If the signature campaign is banned from the forum, then I believe it will not only continue, rather than we would discover a spam-free Bitcointalk. But yes, for that all kinds of bounty and airdrop thread should ban as well. If you deeply look, still you may find a few users here who have not been joining any signature campaign but are the best contributor to the forum. Baning the signature campaign means the forum will turn into its original face that it should be actually. A major part of users may leave the forum, but it doesn't mean the forum will be free of contributions. But at the end of the day, I admit that the signature campaign helps to keep the forum emphatic.
2648  Economy / Reputation / Re: Full Member Merit Abuser and Bounty Cheater on: December 03, 2021, 05:24:05 PM
The solid proof I found about Ojengonggu & dark1234. No doubt both accounts have been controlled by the same person. And it's clear these accounts abuse the merit system by sending merit to alt accounts. Forum moderators discourage sending merits to alt account.

Can I give merit to my alt accounts?

No, this is frowned upon and will almost certainly lead to you receiving negative feedback if discovered.

So definitely both accounts deserve negative feedback IMO ans tagged these two accounts. I am not getting solid evidence about the rest account.

I don't think you have tagged these accounts correctly. Since the merit was transferred at the time, the merit system was introduced. I have met a lot of accounts that transferred 50 merits at a time, precisely during the period of January 2018. But these accounts were not negatively tagged. Many simply tried this system, and only later began to adhere to the rule that you should not transfer credit to your viola.
If there are other violations of these two accounts besides the transfer of merit, then this could be called a violation.
But also one account has been inactive since 2020, and this can also serve as proof that the dark1234 account does not pursue cheating plans.

Thanks for pointing it out. I think I should agree with you. I didn't investigate the sending date. Let them take advantage of the beginning stage of the merit system. I removed the red tag. Hope during that time he learned about the merit system. Though I am not tagging possible merit abuser, but can't ignore trading merits between alt account.

However, OP please add more details during creating a new accusation. A deep investigation would help trust abuse and arguments as well.
2649  Economy / Reputation / Re: 2K merit club :-) on: December 03, 2021, 05:15:28 PM
Yea, that's a great achievement, and congratulations on your achievement. This is one of the indicators of your contribution how you are contributing to the forum. And of course, this would be an example who thinks earning merits too hard though it's hard for non-contributor. I am very near to 2K merit achievement, I am just quite busy with my personal life hence I failed to contribute much lately. But always has been trying to contribute as much I can. Hope soon I would achieve that as well. Keep up your contribution.
2650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'M back! My next move with Bitcoin on: December 02, 2021, 04:15:01 AM
Welcome back with a great initiative. If we do not teach our family members then how will they meet with the world's first successful cryptocurrency Bitcoin? I feel this is our responsibility to at least share our experience with the nearest person and family. It's possible though Bitcoin is illegal in a country. Once you will introduce NFT world's with your friend then he will introduce more people, although I am not a fan of NFT nor do I understand what is that. Just know it as a Non-fungible token.

Hope you are a good trader since you are wondering to set up a trading desk. So seems your overall experience is excellent which would keep a role in Bitcoin adaption. Keep it up and best wishes for you.
2651  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware from p2pb2b.io on: December 02, 2021, 03:51:34 AM
Sometimes it makes me wonder, are we running out of exchanges that people are still using the likes of P2PB2B?
No, there is a reason why people are still forced to use this type of scam exchange. For example, bounty hunters earn a few tokens from a bounty campaign, just imagine xxxx project. After the token sale, they list into p2pb2b exchange. So what will do hunters and investors? Aren't they forced to use p2pb2b this token is only listed there? That's how these exchanges still getting users and scamming people. I am not sure scenario of OP, but ad far as I know people are involved with these kinds of exchanges this way.

Anyway, OP there is no alternative without complying with their shady terms and conditions when you are using the worst centralized exchange.
2652  Other / Meta / Re: [Request to mod/admin] Can I create a topic on "other language"? on: December 02, 2021, 03:22:35 AM
I am curious where had you found the rules that users will be ban posting threads out of the local board? I noticed multiple threads have been created by mdayonliner previously in other languages sections. And mdayonliner has discussed into meta about his threads there. Although I can't recall the threads but as far as I remember he was inspired to do so and no one prevents him to create a thread as long as it's helpful for the forum. Still, I found a couple of threads (locked & unlocked) exist that were created by mdayonliner in Bangla. Since his account hasn't been banned, I don't think your account will ban for contribution since your intention isn't spamming there.

But again, since it's an account ban question, just make sure with forum moderators. It doesn't matter what we think, moderators will follow their moderation policy. So just wait for a moderator reply.

2654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy Buy more Bitcoin on: December 01, 2021, 04:06:49 AM
Let's be real here, some day Bitcoin will enter a bear market similar to the crypto winter of 2018, and Microstrategy together with Nayib Bukele will look stupid for buying the dip that keeps dipping and dipping. Buying Bitcoin every single time it falls is really not the smartest strategy, the best strategy is to buy a lot of coins at the bottom of bear market and sell them and the height of bull market.
No, I don't think they will regret it and will look stupid at all. If you notice the average bought price of Bitcoin that is currently held by Microstrategy then you will realize why am I saying that. On the other hand, they aren't like me and you. They could buy in every dip which will help them recover previously bought coin prices quickly. Do you think they are just holding? At least I am not believing them. They announce once they bought, but they will never announce upon selling. Whales always gainer because they could sell it for $70K and perhaps bought it in the $50K zone. Still, will you call them stupid? If they were stupid they shouldn't become a multi-billionaire.
2655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: School Students learning bitcoin basics in Slovakia.. on: December 01, 2021, 03:50:44 AM
We should educate our children about the latest technologies. So Bitcoin become a part of the future economy and the current economy as well. It doesn't matter children will use that or not, but at least they should have a basic knowledge about Bitcoin and how it works. So in near future, anyone can't mislead them. It's a good initiative that Slovakia teaches basic things about Bitcoin in the classroom. If you create huge pressure then children won't learn anything. Once they will learn the basics thing so they will be more curious to learn more. Some of them might become specialists as well.

Anyway, I welcome Slovakia's initiative, if more countries include Bitcoin & cryptocurrency as a part of economical books then we would see a massive adoption near future. On the other hand, students will be familiar with Bitcoin from the beginning.
2656  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How Can I Buy Bitcoin With Debit Card..? on: December 01, 2021, 03:28:57 AM
Hello everyone, I want to know , how can i buy bitcoin with debit card without any verification .
If anyone know please tell me .
I am interested to buy bitcoin .

Smell something else to me. Often I have been hearing debit and credit card abuse. Buying Bitcoin with a debit card and being worried about verification a kind of ridiculous. Because debit card itself will expose your identity, so there shouldn't be a problem with verifying yourself. Where you can trust with your debit credentials, you may trust them verification as well.

Although you found a platform where doesn't require any verification, you need to be ready always to provide unless you want to lose funds. Anytime an exchange or platform from where you are gonna buy Bitcoin could ask for verification to ensure the owner of the card attempting to buy Bitcoin using a debit card.
2657  Economy / Reputation / Re: Got my first badge [990th most earned merits] on: December 01, 2021, 03:12:49 AM
I think this topic more fit into the Beginners & Help section rather than the reputation board. So it would motivate more newbies as well. This isn't a small achievement at all for new members, because it's quite hard to earn merits for newbies here due to spammy behavior. Just keep your contribution and once a day you will discover yourself as a Legendary member.

What can I be proud of kelonmusk is just a beginner with no merit  Cry
Just concentrate on contribution to the forum rather than posting about merit. Read more and gain more knowledge, so you can contribute and distribute that knowledge among forum users.
2658  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinexmy.com on: November 30, 2021, 12:41:20 PM
If you ask me I don't see any single reason to deposit on that platform. I don't know what is that had driven you to deposit in this scam platform. Even ignore the Ponzi scheme, I won't choose a new centralized exchange until they prove them legit. Why should deposit in a brand new exchange that doesn't have any history of trust? Because nowadays scammers just buy an exchange script with a few dollars and start a scam mission. So before choosing an exchange search as much as possible. Especially find on multiple cryptocurrency forums where the public can discuss freely.
2659  Economy / Economics / Re: No where is actually safe on: November 29, 2021, 12:49:52 PM
Most of us who want to make money from the cryptocurrency industry don't have any proper knowledge of how actually cryptocurrency works. Just forget about technologies, no one bothering to learn. We think cryptocurrency is a quick rich method that leads us eventually to loss. Although cryptocurrency isn't a Ponzi scheme, but it's the circulation of public money. Today with me, tomorrow would be with you. Means just changing hands, if you are lucky you can cash out during profit if you are a holder. Trading means I am losing you are gaining or reversing it. Everyone wouldn't or shouldn't be a gainer here. We can't say sade anyway, in every business has a risk of loss. So it's not out of the risk to invest in cryptocurrency.
2660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will a coin cost if the USA abandon the US dollar today and switch to BTC? on: November 29, 2021, 12:09:46 PM
It will not happen. How are you wondering a centralized government will replace their Centralized native fiat with decentralized cryptocurrency Bitcoin? Centralized & Decentralized aren't friends with each other, it's always conflict. Rather than the USA could launch a native coin which would replace USD if in case of the world totally move to digitalization. How do you think the total supply of Bitcoin is enough to replace of the total circulation of USD?

It will never happen and unrealistic thought by the way.
