1681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we deserve to have bitcoin on: October 04, 2022, 04:27:59 PM
Is Bitcoin millionaire scheme? We know some fiat bank offers millionaire scheme, does Bitcoin offer like this? I don't think so. You have to know what is Bitcoin really and how it's been working. Bitcoin is high volatile coin and we are taking advantage of that. But it hadn't created to become Millionaire anyway. You deserve Bitcoin and you can buy as mush as possible. Or you may buy few Satoshi as well, it's fully depends on your capability.  But don't think become millionaire over the night. It might go down as well.
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin should I invest in other than bitcoin? on: October 01, 2022, 08:51:31 PM
Everyone will suggest their favorite coins that they are holding right now. So it will make you more confused. If you are wondering to invest longer then chose from the top ten that are very close to Bitcoin. Don't invest in shitcoin to get more profits. Don't think to become a millionaire the night. Otherwise, you might lose your whole portfolio.
1683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: determine a good project on: October 01, 2022, 08:46:29 PM
If you say project means it's a new project. And I am not a fan of investing in a brand new project. Those are established and have a good record we may call them established tokens, so it's not a project at all. However, we have to study the history of the token before investing in a bear market. Just not only chart. For me, I don't choose a token unless it's well established. I lost a lot of funds investing in shitcoins. So it's better to avoid projects and invest in existing established tokens.
1684  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Paper can easily get ruined, fast. on: October 01, 2022, 08:38:13 PM
Yea, paper can destroy and happen anything. If you have just one copy then you would lose your funds. Your device and paper that you wrote seed destroyed for any reason mean everything is gone. I don't think we memorize seed phrases anyway. The best practice is to keep it in safe places and not only a single copy. All the important seeds should have multiple copies, so all shouldn't be destroyed at once.
1685  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: poland guy needed to connect to account on: October 01, 2022, 07:24:27 PM
Still, you haven't explained well what you need exactly and which site should connect to. What's the problem if you dare the site publicly? There would phishing sites can damage anything that will connect. Who will take the risk? Rather than buy a dedicated IP address or find some alternative if you can't share site publicly. How can a site hurt you unless you share credentials? It doesn't make sense and seems quite suspicious to me.
1686  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Now I know why offline is very important with crypto wallet seeds on: September 30, 2022, 08:19:52 PM
If your device is compromised or your keyboard compromised then hackers definitely can record what are you typing. Nothing new in the crypto space. So yea, you should shut off your Internet connection when doing something important with your wallet if applicable. If I can recall correctly some non-custodial wallet doesn't require typing your seed. They give the option to select step by step. So once you write it down you can select it properly. Here might be you safe unless a hacker controls your device. Hardware wallets are pretty safe for us who are often storing cryptocurrency.
1687  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of new SCAM on google play! SoBit: Bitcoin wallet on: September 30, 2022, 08:12:59 PM
First of all, Google doesn't moderate scams unless there is a report from end users. It's their business and they need just money. Google just checks apps through AI or some easy way. And all we know detecting scams isn't easy anyway. However, you should learn Google reviews aren't worth it anymore. Because it can be manipulated easily. Why did you need to use your wallet by searching on Google play? Aren't you familiar with some popular crypto wallets? I am even not familiar with this name nor do I search on Google. I use a wallet from a trusted source.
1688  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Ethereum smart contract scam bot.... on: September 30, 2022, 08:06:13 PM
Don't play with codes unless you can read them. I am just worried about new crypto users who often search on YouTube to learn and earn money. The scammer takes this advantage to trap new users actually. Another problem is some experienced crypto users might become curious to deploy codes and earn free. But the reality is scammer writes code to transfer funds from the contract. People would think that there is no risk since I am deploying the contract from my address. But there is access to the contract with a scammer. They use some commands to move funds from their address. Not only that, it's automated. Once someone will send funds to the contract, the contract will send funds to the scammer within sec. So just don't play what you don't understand.
1689  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [PHISHING ALERT] MetaMask phishing ETH merge verification mail.... on: September 30, 2022, 07:56:20 PM
Nothing new, scammers always want to take advantage when happening something is news in the crypto space. I have been receiving a lot of spam mail like this which I never click. Even scammers use Binance Spoof mail to trap users. I am quite careful when I need to update or install any apps related to crypto. I check the source multiple times whether it's phishing or official. Also sometimes take forum search button helps. Hope no one will fall into this type of trap. Just worried about brand new crypto users. Scammers often use a leaked mail list.
1690  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How I Increased My Bitcoin and crypto Portfolio by 36% on: September 30, 2022, 07:48:04 PM
Every and each investor have a different way and thinking about how to increase their portfolio. It's not an easy task at all to earn from the crypto industry unless you learn a lot. Most people at the beginning have been losing funds on trading. It's because first, they thought it was easy to earn by trading and not studying much. Holding is the best way to increase your portfolio if you have patience. But not hold for a lifetime at all. Need to take advantage of volatility. Otherwise, it's quite hard to increase your portfolio. Some people think they need to hold unlimited without a goal. I do not agree with them anyway. We should have a goal or target to increase our cryptocurrency portfolio.
1691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHAT DID YOU STUDY? WHAT DID YOU LEARN? on: September 30, 2022, 07:37:53 PM
This forum is like a crypto academy and learned about cryptocurrency from here. Although I wasn't new to crypto when joining the forum but there wasn't much knowledge related to crypto. Have spent a lot of time reading this forum and gained a lot of knowledge from here. Especially have exposed a lot of cryptocurrency scams and I was a popular scam buster here. Mostly I learned how to prevent scams from here.
1692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Free, community-driven Bitcoin education project on: September 30, 2022, 10:35:51 AM
Well-done and well written as well. No matter a lot of sour e about Bitcoin learning. You tried your best to introduce Bitcoin which would help newcomers to understand Bitcoin. It's quite important to realize what is Bitcoin actually and how it works. Otherwise, people just think it's a pump dump investment scheme.
1693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Favorite Misconceptions About Bitcoin on: September 29, 2022, 08:45:20 PM
Just leave others' thoughts that I tried to explain. I was confused at the beginning and didn't use Bitcoin as a payment method. I was thinking why should a currency's price shouldn't volatile like this. At that time I dare to use Bitcoin due to its volatile. I wasn't ready to accept losing value. But now it's different, I realized what is Bitcoin and how works as well. The same thing happens most of the time when I want to try to explain about Bitcoin.
1694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC met up with Tim Draper and Satoshi Nakamoto? on: September 27, 2022, 07:35:28 PM
Do you believe SEC is involved with Bitcoin? If not then they should expose who is Satoshi Nakamoto. But they never did it, which means either they don't know Satoshi or are involved with Bitcoin somehow. Still, no one can solve Satoshi's mystery except Satoshi himself. I believe at least US legal authority had tried to investigate Satoshi. But not an easy task at all. I don't believe such tweets, anyone can write anything.
1695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All I need to teach my employees about Bitcoin on: September 27, 2022, 07:22:41 PM
Saving your funds than earnings more important. If you haven't been using any gateway to receive payment then try to use hardware wallets. It's good practice for crypto and your funds are fully secure. You can't teach your guy in a single day. Teach day by day and chapter by chapter. It's very important to learn double spending scams, so you won't have to lose. For that just make sure the transaction got 1 confirmation at least. So you are in a safe zone.
1696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen If Bitcoin got stabled like USDT etc. ? on: September 26, 2022, 06:57:35 PM
How do you expect Bitcoin would be stable anyway? Isn't seem like a dream? It's limited supply but huge demand. If a token or coin can't mint then wouldn't be stable anyway. Even stable-coins aren't stable really. So we can't imagine that Bitcoin can be stable. I don't this we need any arguments for that.
1697  Economy / Reputation / Re: Controversies surrounding account connection on: September 25, 2022, 06:24:55 PM
Long ago connected address was a matter of detecting alt accounts. But nowadays I don't see many allegations based on connected addresses unless there are some other solid proofs. No one making their own rules here, just follow-up forum rules. Alt accounts aren't against forum rules, but abusing with is crime here. So other forum users will up this kind of abuse. We need a clean forum, not abuse or crime.
1698  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to buy bitcoin on: September 24, 2022, 07:25:17 PM
You have to use a p2p deal of such big amounts. Just don't risk all at the same time. I have been using Binance to buy and sell Bitcoin locally. It's pretty easy and secure. But KYC is mandatory for p2p on Binance. Just buy step by step and move it into your ledger. Don't buy or hold a large amount in Binance anyway. You may look into the forum as well using escrow service. But hard to avoid KYC if you are using any centralized exchange to buy Bitcoin.
1699  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin or Netcoin ? on: September 24, 2022, 07:06:58 PM
Interesting facts I never have noticed. Definitely, the name becomes popular in the crypto space. But if I had the chance to choose then I would choose netcoin instead of Bitcoin. Don't get me wrong, it's just the name, not the blockchain or technology. It must exist the same. I know most of you will disagree with me, but that's what I choose. Then netcoin would popular like now, but who knows what was Satoshi's mind? But I am pretty sure he rejects Netcoin and choose Bitcoin which is the most popular name nowadays.
1700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The First Bullish & Bearish Market I Met. on: September 24, 2022, 06:56:30 PM
I can't recall exactly the year when I meet with Bitcoin but Definitely, it was a bear market. Once I meet with Bitcoin the price was approx $3K, from there start bull, and went to $19K+ which was an ATH 2017 if I can recall correctly. So after that, I meet with bear again which was $3K again. Then start bull after a few years likely 2021 went 70K. Definitely, still, it's ATH for Bitcoin. As of now, we are in a bear market. Hope soon we will see another ATH based on past experience.
