Op created his account yesterday to complain about Kriptomat exchange, and the Kriptomat team created theirs today to respond to the claims of the OP, maybe i am overthinking things, but looks somewhat to me like they are kinda shilling the exchange, mind you i could be totally wrong, but i am wondering how the Kriptomat-team account that was created today suddenly came up with a response to OP on his issue here, how did they get to know about it or something, how did they also know who the exact customer is.
2642  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: May 07, 2022, 11:25:01 AM
Am not supporting the hike in aviation fuel or because maybe I don't use airline as means of transportation but the issue here is why it's only when a matter affects the wealthy in this country that it becomes important??
Please do not make multiple posts in a row mate, just merge them into one. And just so the thread can look aesthetically pleasing, try not to quote a long post completely, when quoting it, you can either clear out everything and leave something like '<snip>' there, or just clear out the part you do not need, and leave the ones you want to directly reply to (just as i did right now with your post). You can find out more information about how to do it in the link below:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3749076

Now back on the topic, i think all pressing issues in the country are important, whether it is a hike in price of kerosine, fuel, aviation fuel or what have you, a hike in any of these commodities affect every citizen irrespective of financial level, for example, one average individual in normal circumstances spends 30,000 naira per month on energy for his home (be it money for cooking gas, electricity, etc), another rich person spends a million naira on the same thing in his more sophisticated home, if there is a hike in price, and the former now spends 60,000 naira, and the latter, 2 million naira, it clearly affects the both of them as they are made to spend more than normal.

The news is popular not because it affects the 'wealthy' like you said, but because it is the latest negative 'development' in our country, domestic flights can't even be said to be for the wealthy, for example, in normal circumstances a flight from the South West to the South East should not cost more than 25-30k naira when you are flying in the Economy class, and with that price, an individual who is fairly comfortable without too many financial responsibilities can afford it, it is the same hike in aviation fuel that has made the price to skyrocket, making it unaffordable atm, the very reason why they are completely shutting down till further notice. Finally, this negative 'development' would not even affect the wealthy like you presume, the wealthy would still board private jets, and pay for private planes and go to wherever they want to go to unhindered.
2643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russians collectively hold about $130b in crypto on: May 07, 2022, 08:29:41 AM
centralized exchanges are now banning Russian people from using their services. And just a while ago, I have also read a post saying that binance has also went and took this banning thing a bit further by banning some relatives of Russian people that they can find despite it having nothing to do or not even being in the country of Russia instead.
Centralized exchanges would always work in this way, you can't use them and not expect to be censored, locked out of your funds, banned/account blocked for one reason or the other, even if you are not from Russia, and even if this war didn't happen, as long as you use centralized exchanges and store your funds in them, the funds are not yours, and they can pull up one policy against you at absolutely anytime, and you lose your funds, not to even talk of hacks. Overall Russian citizens who use Bitcoin/crypto should stay away from centralized exchanges, at least for now, if they want to buy and sell crypto they should do so through p2p outside of a centralized exchange.
I wonder what is going to happen once this war is over...... will we see a sudden dump ....or will it be a slow dump over a longer period.  Huh
Or no dump at all.
2644  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: May 07, 2022, 06:53:16 AM
The AON (airline operators of Nigeria) have announced that there is going to be a shut down of domestic flights from Monday, 9th of May 2022, due to the hike in the price of aviation fuel

I am pretty sure quite a lot of us have seen this news already, for those who have not, this is the latest development at the moment in our country, travelers would no longer be able to board planes from one destination to another within the country till further notice as the AON bemoans the high cost of aviation fuel, claiming it moved from 190 naira per litre to 700 naira per litre, that is an astronomical increase if the information is correct, and that has been the reason why the cost of flights in the past months has been extremely high, i am sure those who travel by air here noticed the increase.

So, should this shut down take effect on Monday, it is going to inconcenience quite a lot of people who travel by air, and i am pretty sure some of us here constantly travel by air, especially when we are heading to a far destination, like moving from the West to the East, or from the East to the North, etc. I think quite a lot of people would have to reschedule their travel plans (as long as it is not urgent) and wait till all of this is resolved than travel by road. If your means of transportation within states in the country is by air, what is going to be the alternative should this problem linger, i can't comment on this cause i do not travel by air within the country as i do not have enough money for that.

Milan need to be serious to manage their playing strategy, to get 9 points from this.
That is exactly what they need to do, no more, no less, and i am pretty sure they know this, they will try to do it, but anything is still possible, the pressure is going to be on, in the three games left, the fans and the players of the both Milan clubs will feel it severely, but the players must try their best to keep their heads, and finish on a high.

For Inter, their job is simple: win all of the remaining games, and hope AC Milan make a mistake/slip up. As for Ac Milan, their job is straightforward, win their remaining games and they are champions again, after quite a very long time. I want Inter to be Champions, but if Ac Milan win it, then they deserve all the credit they can get.

I don't think Abraham will stay in Rome with his high level performance.
He better stay put there, at least for now. He wasn't having this sort of excellent performances when he was at Chelsea (a bigger club) remember, so for now i think he should remain in Rome. Since leaving Chelsea he has been in the form of his life, so no need to change for now, he could move and it wouldn't work out for him, i know it could also go the other way round, but i think he should stay in Rome for at least 2 seasons, gain confidence and from there decide on his career going forward. He is still young and he has many years ahead of him, if he keeps working hard and developing his talents then i think the sky would be the limit for him, but he mustn't rush things now, so he wouldn't make any mistakes.

Why such double standards?
Just as @Pmalek has explained above, it is not double standard in any way, there are only very few things a user would do on the forum that would get them banned, the most popular being plagiarism, but scams are not moderated by the forum. You do business with others here at your own risk, and all that can be done if someone has sufficient proof of being scammed by another user is to bring the trust system into effect (by giving out negative feedbacks).
You can't spam...
Do users even get banned for spamming, i think you'd have to spam for a pretty long time, write utter rubbish (in the wrong sections), till it becomes extremely annoying before you get into some trouble (maybe even a temporary ban at first).
2648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 04, 2022, 04:06:14 PM
Unexpectedly, Villarreal actually played very well in the first half. Villarreal were able to score two goals in the first half and had forced the aggregate to be 2-2. Unfortunately, in the second half they reduced the intensity of the game and allowed Liverpool to score three goals back to seal the victory that saw Liverpool qualify for the Champions League final.
Rulli (the Villarreal goalie) also had a part to play in Villarreal's exit from the Champions league last night, he was extremely poor across the two legs, he made numerous errors when the both sides met at Anfield, and i am pretty sure if Unai Emery had a better makeshift goalkeeper, then Rulli would not have started that game yesterday. I am not saying their exit was entirely his fault, but when your team is playing the way Villarreal was playing last night, you have to bail them out when it comes down to you, but everytime Villarreal needed him to help the team, he just let in cheap goals; shambolic.

Tonight we await the team set to join Liverpool in the final in paris in a few weeks time, i am going with City, for obvious reasons actually, but with Madrid you never can tell, at least until the 90 minutes are all up.

Yea, I can see it's an offence, the reply of mine has already been merged by a moderator.
Just to clear my doubts cox I have seen also established users do it aswell but didn't take note which board. Thanks!
Was it bumps? Or reserved posts by the OP of a particular thread? if it was any of that, then it is allowed.
32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

Well then mate, If it was none of that, then maybe it stood just cause a mod missed it/didn't see it, or users who did see it didn't report it to a moderator for it to be merged, i am pretty sure if it was reported it would have been merged.
2651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 03, 2022, 10:41:54 PM
This time we are going to have Liverpool - Tottenham and Manchester City - Newcastle matches in the league. It looks like Liverpool have a more difficult job as their opponent has been doing awesome on the recent weeks.
Spurs is going to be really difficult for Liverpool to beat, i think it could be at this point that City prolly gets the advantage in the title race. Spurs have enough quality players to take something from this game, the likes of Kane and Son, and they are also going to be extra motivated, they are fighting for a place in next seasons Champions League, and they will know that if they fail to win here Arsenal could capitalize and cement their top four spot. Liverpool of course know the job they have to do as well, if Liverpool win this game, i am thinking they will go on and will all of their remaining games, likewise City, whichever way it happens, i am pretty sure City are winning this title.
2652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 03, 2022, 04:11:56 PM
Kyle Walker trained with the City squad earlier today, and Pep has confirmed in his press conference that he (Kyle) is going to travel with the team to Madrid, but he didn't confirm if Kyle would be fit enough to start, but overall it is great news for City that Kyle is back in contention for this game, majority of City's problems in the first leg came from the right wing as both Kyle and Cancelo (suspended then) were unavailable, if Kyle is able to start at right back, then Cancelo will of course slot into left back, i think City will be even stronger in this second leg.

Having said that, i am predicting a City v Liverpool final in Paris, meaning Liverpool would eliminate Villarreal today, while City will eliminate Madrid tomorrow. What is your own final prediction?

Making multiple posts in a row is going contrary to the forum rules, so i advice you merge your posts into one.

Now back on the topic, the problem is not peculiar to just Nigeria, as of today there are only about 2 countries that have made Bitcoin a Legal tender, the thing is that most governments would not adopt a decentralized currency, for obvious reasons of course. Having said that, with the effects of the covid-19 pandemic still biting hard, causing a high level of inflation and devaluation of national currencies, making Bitcoin a Legal tender is the last thing most countries would be thinking of at this very time, because it does not help their cause to bring about a stable general economy/currency.
2654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 03, 2022, 11:26:55 AM
there is another rumor in england about manchester united being interested in the player Declan Rice from this year's european cup semifinalists west ham utd
I am not surprised if this rumor is true, Declan Rice has been outstanding this season, and quite rightly some of the bigger teams will start coming for his signature sooner rather than later. I am pretty sure West Ham would know it will be quite difficult to hold Rice for too long, so even if they would put up a little resistance, they would surely cash in on him for the right price. Having said that, if i am Declan Rice i would not move to Manchester United, they do not look like the team that would take his career to the next level, except of course if he is moving there for the money that would be involved, and i am sure it is going to be huge.
2655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safuu continues to decline, what causes it? on: May 02, 2022, 10:15:39 PM
We are all know that, Safuu is the most popular & successful project at the recent time.
How were you able to come to this conclusion, mind you that there are a lot of new projects that come into the market and do so well at the beginning because of the hype at that very time, only to dump when that hype is over and prolly not rise again. I hope you did your research about this project, and even if generally the market is somewhat in a bear period, some coins would not recover when the market is good again, meaning such coin is dead, we call them pump and dump coins, i just hope for your sake that this coin isn't in that category.
2656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 02, 2022, 08:55:50 PM
It's amazing to think that Arsenal have more league wins than Chelsea this season, I think they're on course in solidifying the place in the top four. Arteta is definitely doing a good job but of course not impressive enough, they ought to do better. .
Arteta and his Arsenal team deserve an awful amount of credit for what they have done this season, i do not think Arsenal should really be doing better than what they are doing now, with the quality they have in their team, they can best finish in 3rd or 4th, and that is what they are fighting to do. Arsenal are just three points behind Chelsea, honestly with every match Chelsea fail to win they are putting themselves in the battle for top four, we all thought it was certain they were going to finish third, but that is not certain anymore, Chelsea must be at their very best in the remaining fixtures, or risk dropping out of third position, or even the top four entirely
2657  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ranking up is possible! 2900 Merits earned in less than 12 months! My 11 Hints! on: May 02, 2022, 08:39:10 PM
<...>
You are pretty close to 10,000 merits, that is wonderful and impressive to say the least. There might not be another rank after legendary, but just accruing this amount of merits is worthy of admiration and the community really appreciates what users like yourself have done to get here and hence you deserve as much recognition as is possible. As for the race to 10k merits, from the looks of things you'll prolly be the third user to get there (as two other users have already achieved that feat) which is great, well done mate.
2658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 02, 2022, 08:13:51 PM
However Inter really seem like they will follow them till the end.
I am pretty sure it is going to go down to the final day of the season, nothing is going to be decided till then, i actually feel sorry for Inter, few weeks ago they had it in their hands and all that was needed was just to keep on winning, but they dropped points and as has been the case this season, AC Milan were waiting in the wings to capitalize, which they did, now they are in the driving seat and Inter have to play the catch up role again. We are almost at the very end, and all Inter must do is to keep on winning, make sure the gap isn't extended above the current two points, and hope/pray for a slip up, anything is possible.
2659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trustable currency on: May 02, 2022, 03:29:52 PM
Guys, Can you really name the coins/tokens that you trust the most?
Personally it is Bitcoin for me; but every individual must do their own research, make up their own mind and draw their own conclusion. Why i went for Bitcoin is cause it is a long term project, and i am a long term investor, if you buy Bitcoin to make returns on investment, then you should expect ROI in the long run, and the good thing is this: it is not a pump and dump coin, so no matter the plunge or dump, it would still rise up again; unlike most altcoins that are only short term projects that dump and do not rise again, so i can't really trust such coins/projects.
2660  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Never store your coin on exchange!!! on: May 02, 2022, 02:21:36 PM
most time saving coin on offline is good but one mistake can happen and the wallet got compromise
If you do your research on how to do it properly, and you follow all of that without any mistake, then no problems would arise i am sure of that, except of course if it is a product of your own folly.
the wallet got compromise through fishing link, in the name of dex airdrop through connecting process to clam and end up got hacked account.
That is then your own folly, there are actions you take that keeps you vulnerable to loss of funds no matter how secure the wallet you use is, even if you use a HW wallet for example, there are things that are expected of you to do/not to do as the user, if you go contrary to them and lose your funds, then it is your own folly.
therefore i prefer spread my asset (Coins) in difference area both on exchange and offline.
Terrible choice, whatever funds you have on an exchange is more or less not yours cause you don't have the keys.
