2641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK 20% of the gambling venues are located at the poorest part of the country on: August 24, 2021, 08:24:49 PM
I am not sure if the casino targets the poor to play gambling because they are hard to buy food, so why should they gamble? If that is for making money to buy food, I do not think they will have that chance since gambling depends on luck. But some people from that location can play gambling to test their luck but it is hard to win because the casino will not let that happen. I tend to think that renting those places will not be too expensive and maybe the casino wants to hide their place from the government, especially if their country prohibits gambling.
They do target the poor for that precise reason, they don't have food so they're tempted to gamble to see if their stars are aligned and hopefully they can make something out of it. Desperation is what makes them build their gambling house in the poor areas. It's not the case for the gambling houses, the government is in on those things, they want to tax the poor and this is the best way that they can do that.
Taxing the poor via those gambling houses? I dont know on where you do get this idea but it is really out of the charts..Why they would consider out on taxing into someone which doesnt have income?

Gambling houses might have considered on building their venue into these places due to those reasons you had mentioned which they are particularly taking advantage on what a poor mind does have

and the desperation that they do have where they do need to make money even on the fastest and riskiest way and this turns out to be successful because no further establishments would be created
if they do look that it wasnt really effective.
2642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Binance? on: August 24, 2021, 07:24:49 PM
Binance is now brining the KYC for the users compulsorily so this could be a point where we need to see how many users leave the platform as not many are comfortable to share the KYC with any of the sites. In coming time will need to check the impact it could have on binance site.

Time will tell and we arent blind on seeing on what would be the effect of this fully KYC integration towards the platform which that unverified limits which been most people been liking off with this platform will might
have lost their interest on using the platform.

Considering out that there are some platforms out there that do offer limits of unverified accounts like Kucoin which i wont really be surprised off, if one day there would be some influx of users
on that platform.

We cant really make any judgement yet but we can already presume on things that might happen this time.
2643  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotions should never be traded. on: August 23, 2021, 11:37:35 PM
You can never make a profit if you place emotion in cryptocurrency. Never mix emotions with trading, you will never sell in the market loss due to emotions after investing. It does The amount of loss will be more than your profit.
Easy to say but really hard to control off when it you are already into this market on which it isnt really that easy to control of emotions and since we are just human beings then we are really prone to that because we

do value money that much and we dont like for it to lose so its just normal to have those reactions but the thing here is that you do know how to handle up those burst of emotions and to think off clearly and properly

on what are the things you should gonna do and this is where people do really differs on which you can spot out which one is experienced and which one is a total noob.
2644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know is time to walk? on: August 23, 2021, 07:48:29 PM
in my opinion when the person is having many successive defeats or even defeats that cause the bankroll to start to reduce a lot in a short time, then the person needs to urgently stop playing to be able to rest and think better about the next step in order to be able to have good results and recover the bankroll and make profits. consecutive losses cause stress and lead to despair, it is important to rest and for that the person needs to stop for some time
You wouldnt notice that until you dont able to pull off some money into your pocket for you to make use of your gambling activity.People wont realize it if they wont really be experiencing problems.

If you dont like on ending up on that way then better to have some good control and you should know on when to stop if its needed and always mind off about gambling as a form of entertainment not a source of income.

Walk away if you do notice that you are spending that much.Walk away if you do find out yourself already been stressed or becoming impulsive.
2645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I rather stay hungry than sell my Bitcoin on: August 23, 2021, 06:40:42 PM
It's really a tempting period for Bitcoin investors considering the constant dip we have been experiencing for a while. I was once adviced to sell my coin when I had an issue that needed money urgently but I objected it took me quite a long time to hodl and loosing them now isn't a healthy idea at all.

You created this post when the value of Bitcoin was at 31726.04USD. Today the value stands at 49250.54USD which is almost a change of roughly 23.18%. If you truly didn’t sell off some of your coins in your time of need, then I’m sure you’d be more than grateful today.
Neither he sold up his coins or still holding then this do proves out that everything into this market is way too unpredictable but there are really some circumstances which would really leave you no choice but to sell your coin and even myself would definitely do that when im on the verge of having no cash or no money into my pocket.

We do have priorities in life and if you do know that you do have investment or something that had been saved up then its just normal that we would really be spending those and wont really make ourselves
suffer.

Its true into those things been said above that its just dumb that you wouldnt make a sell when you are already hungry or when you are really badly needing it.
2646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do poker and sports betting skills correlate? on: August 20, 2021, 10:45:21 AM
The reason may be that they do dedicate lots of time to follow the sports and the cards tournaments and they are able to find opportunities hidden in the sand. Perhaps rather than a direct correlation, which could also be possible as everything in betting entails a certain ability to assess the chances and probabilities of events happening, is more about being in the "profession" of predicting and making money out of it. I would say that, in general, skills are specific for the prediction and generalist in the calculation abilities.
You have a big point here "dedication" towards both games which will help you develop strategies that might play out most times. But there are no correlations between both because both are two different games entirely. Probability remains the underlying element that can bring both games under the same atmosphere that would make one feel both correlate.
Winning both different tournaments at the same time I don't think it has anything to do with strategy, but if it's about luck then maybe. About dedication, of course, many people dedicate their time to gambling but unfortunately, not all of them are as lucky as the winner of the tournament so I personally still think it is about luck that happens simultaneously.
Considering poker and sports betting does involve skills then we cant totally say that luck would only be the factor needed. When you are knowledgeable on both gambling then it wont really be that surprising that a

certain individual could really won those tournaments basing on how they would manage their time and its no brainer that someone could able to hit both if he's lucky and well or skilled enough.

Correlation? Nothing in between and this is just an ordinary scenario on where a person could do multiple type of gambling games and won both.
2647  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin ever go down like 2018-2020 on: August 19, 2021, 11:39:15 PM
I don't think Bitcoin Price will drop like 2018 anytime soon. There are differences in Bitcoin price movements in 2018 and 2020. in 2018 Bitcoin strengthened very quickly. Thus, profit-taking occurs en masse and damages Bitcoin price fundamentals. But if we observe this year, Bitcoin prices tend to strengthen more slowly. So many people who trade crypto don't realize that Bitcoin goes up little by little every day.

Situations are different as mass adoption slowly growing year by year so we cannot expect the dip the same as 2018 since the complexity before is not the same right now. We already witness it this bear season recently and we exit so early so we can really look forward that more pumps will come in next following days, It's good to save some now since I think in next halving we might see bitcoin touch at 6 digit in figures.

Bitcoin was keep rocking now. The price was pump to now and many coin price was raised with that. Many traders are in good mood now. Because they will get minimum of 10 dollars profit with the minimum investment of 100$.This made huge surprise to the investor in the month end.
This is a never ending type of question on where people do keep asking out that if bitcoin would possibly have the similar situation happened into those previous years in the past?

No one could ever know and thats for sure.We didnt even expect that bitcoin could reach up upto 60k ATH which we are only hopeful that it could break that ATH of 20k back in the past.

Asking out if there would be some similar situations then it will always depend or vary with the demand that bitcoin would have.If adoption and recognition is somewhat high compared into the past
then it is unlikely for it to happen.

Would you mind on adding up a FAQ section on how this game works or on how to make bets? Ive seen Nitros is on Litecoin blockchain am right?

Is this something a blockchain based type of game since you had posted up transactions hashes above?

Also, this shouldnt be posted on Gambling board since it doesnt really accept bitcoin. You do just really need some add on specially FAQ.
This one looks interesting though.
2649  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why some small coins rise in price for 10%-20% in a day WITHOUT any news? on: August 19, 2021, 04:42:13 PM
Low liquidity is one of the causes, when a coin or token does not have enough liquidity to execute small or large trades at a go, as little as $10 usd buy or sell on that coin or token impacts greatly on the price like +10% or -10% depending on whether the person who traded either bought or sold, there are several of this type of coins in the market today and this usually happens with coins listed on very small or small exchange which their user base are not much and as a result, liquidity is very low on those exchanges.
That might be a valid reason for unknown coins but I wonder why and how Bitcoin, which has an enormous market cap, moves so much without any particular reason. There is literally price going up and down all day and surely there isn't something happening all the time.

No matter how much we hide from it or run away from it, there are manipulators still in the market with a capital big enough to disrupt and shake the market at will.

No logical explanation can be given for the dump that happened last year, in March-April. Pandemic only helped Bitcoin for those who put the blame on the pandemic.
Of course there are lots of people who had been actively trading specially its a main coin or father of all crypto. It is just normal that you would see that kind of liquidity despite on having no news that you could see into the market.

When it comes to small coins then having low liquidity then those 10-20% would really be just small for someone to move those percentages specially if its really cheap then buying would really give out some impact.

You could really eventually tell on seeing into its volume alone and as a trader or investor then you should know at least on how to check out these things.
Dont know if someone do really still risking their money into low caps.
2650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: safe moon & shiba inu market [New] on: August 18, 2021, 11:59:17 PM
Safe moon shiba inu With the advent of coins in the market, do they pretend to be extremely popular among the people?  Or do those coins add some value to the market?
But their prices are very low.
Have such coins stabilized in the market in a few years?
Safemoon and Shiba inu had only been driven off with  some hype but i dont actually see the real utility of these coins as if their mother coin or which these coins do copy from does already have that kind of utility.

Do you really think  that those coins with similar functionality or utility would even more higher into its mother coin? There's no way the community would really be that blind when it comes to that.

If you are really eager on making out some investment with those coins then its up to your choice and take it up with some precaution.
2651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: August 18, 2021, 10:38:26 PM
It is better to win for some amount than to lose a big amount. For that win money, we can try to place the other bet in the next days and who knows, we can win for some other amounts.
This is where many gamblers are falling shortly. If we're winning with some amounts, we'll have that plan of making more with what we can because it's making us wanting some more and that's likely as long as we've got the budget on our hand.

And we try to get some more and try to do more, we're always too positive that we won't be having a bad day. In result, the majority are losing instead of making more because of the hunger that we want to have as we engaged ourselves with that plan of gaining some more.

It results to do that and you think that because of that very little that you have and aim to gain more, it ended up badly.
It is because those gamblers greed with their winning money and want to get more winning. They never think that it is enough to win and save money by quitting the games instead of continuing to play the next rounds.

When they can set some money to playing gambling and not just add more and more money to gamble, they will not face a big loss but a small loss.

We should learn from the other gambler who shared their experience losing the money to us to prevent getting the same experience as them. Besides that, it will remind us that setting a budget and limitations will help us from the loss.
Someone who's learning from others experience and advices, he's a gambler that knows how to control himself and how to take advantage of those experiences that he has seen with other gamblers that he don't want to end up with a bad ending.

Do not be too hasty with your goal as you gamble, if the time is with you and you're lucky enough to hit those positive numbers during the time you gamble, stay aside and take your profit or bankroll so that you'll keep and worry less if the next time you gamble you lose.
Should really be on this way on where people should really be not minding or not hasty on making profits because if you are really lucky on that day then you would surely make profits.

Thing here  is that you do know on how to handle your finances and would able to stop out when you are already losing that much.Budget is a must but dont go over into some amounts that you couldnt afford  to lose.

Once you do saw that you are already spending that much  then you should rethink twice on whats happening and you  might already be on the verge of addiction.
2652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption and increase in crime rate, how correlated are they?. on: August 18, 2021, 09:36:50 PM
is it true that bitcoin adoption.is a crime then today we can see people who use the internet it can be said that there are a lot of crimes.caused by many people who use the internet to do bad things like for example they.commit fraud back to each individual how a person wisely.uses what he.knows and has now
People should at least be thinking off first that crime had been long time existing and becomes worst as the years passed and now Bitcoin would took the blame that it do increase crime rate?

To think off that cybercrime had been increasing year by year before crypto exist and its just normal since there would be those criminal minds that do lurks out into the shadow.

Lets just put aside on really emphasizing on how decentralization and anonymity works.Well, there might be some instances but everything shouldnt really took out the blame.
2653  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Go for Another All Time High This Year? on: August 18, 2021, 08:43:44 PM
I project the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise and potentially break new highs later this year. Many large investors who had realized profits will re-enter the bitcoin market. The increase in adoption will push the BTC price forward to the $80,000 level. Adoption by large corporations and institutional investors will push Bitcoin to the $80k mark before the end of the year.
All would really be that always be an speculation. We had already seen the influx of investors on early of this year and did really make out some correction which is a bit nasty and now the market is started to cling up

once again but doesnt mean that we would be reaching or breaking new all time highs but since we had seen in the past on how bitcoin do always make out some surprise then there would be likely for it to happen.

It might not be an assured thing but we do know at least there is some probability and could really happen.Lets just stick with realistic numbers though and not would be talking about 1M/coin which is really
that impossible to happen.
2654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 17, 2021, 11:26:45 PM
What if the developers of the game like Axie will start to make their own PvP-betting platform and all you can bet, AXS, WETH, SLP and even our Axies. If the developers won't make such.

A casino that looks into it can make this very well. Just as the same as the Dota 2 lounge before when the items have been the bets, uncommon, commons, rare items that can be connected to the account and the same as the game of Axie. I think this is very possible and this is a truly gamble that involves huge amount of assets.
Possible but we dont know on what are theiir plans because its just too early to say that bookies would be listing out particular games knowing that Axie infinity isnt really still that big although they had currently
1,200,000+ active users.Dont know if its accurate considering that some people does have multi-accounts or in forms of scholarship.

We are just way too far off with those possible events that might happen in the future. It will always vary on the demand and further developments would be seen
depending on how it would progress out.
2655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: August 17, 2021, 10:24:18 PM

Thats why we should not grab any giveaway like this. Those greed people never stop tricking other specially they are targeting those new in crypto. Some would lure you at the beginning but once you bite on their bat that will produce scammmmm.
The main target is the newbie. by taking advantage of their lack of knowledge and experience, the scammers make a profit. Usually the most common mode is to ask to transfer a certain number of coins with a certain nominal so that the airdrop can be claimed or withdrawn. luckily I didn't have enough money to claim, so I was able to avoid such scams. after that i started to learn a lot of things, nothing is really free, it has to be some effort or luck.
^ I remember before when I was actively looking for the project ICO that has an airdrop and yes, they are very profitable and I believe that there is money on the internet. But now, that is all are gone, you can't earn even a single penny in airdrop and most of them are just only pure scams or getting your KYC documents. Scammers are everywhere we should keep our eye on our BTC holding, when there is something free that offer online, just look at it and verify what it is.
Those are only the days where that 2017 golden year of ICO's on where airdrops does have significant value for most of them but now only 1% i could say that do really ending up on getting some value.

It would vary on the potential of the project and we know that most of them are just trash or pure garbage or scam. When you do gain sufficient knowledge and experience to this market then

you do at least be already aware on how things been working. You should be careful and be sensitive enough on dealings that do happen in the net because scams are just on the corner.
2656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Understanding how the market tricks you and how to prepare against such tricks. on: August 17, 2021, 09:21:27 PM
The market plays so much with our emotions, the more we learn to trade without our emotions the better for us, and also don't just trade without a strategy, it's very easy to place a trade Buh determining the take profit becomes the issue, I think it's better to set a target and once you hit your target close the trade and never look back because sometimes the market might be decietful.

Trading without emotions was impossible, we still have that as a human being because it won't happen if you don't use your mind to decide on things you wanted to do. If you're thinking we've been tricked by the market, I guess it was just an alibi for us because we have no proper knowledge. To avoid that idea, we should be facing reality and accept our weaknesses.
- Our brains and senses will react to unexpected conditions and adapt to life, besides, basic expressions also shape a person's attitude and appearance, so once we separate our emotions from the different situations in our lives, we are just an empty shell and no longer interact. Trading has a lot of advice to throw away the basics of emotions but in reality, those are just empty concepts and without proper proof, emotions are just something that needs to be minimized in trading, to form such a mindset, the game is long and the entry point should be as light as possible
We as humans are really versatile and its a must thing when you do deal into a thing which is totally unpredictable. You wouldnt know on what comes next because things in life doesnt really have a pattern or situations that do really happen along the way.

This market is way too unpredictable and cant really be known on what are the things that would happen in upcoming days and its just right that you would really be preparing yourself into something which is unknown.

For you to able to sustain into this market then it would be just normal that you should be finding ways on how to make yourself effective into this market.

2657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 17, 2021, 08:34:35 PM
Gambling is not bad up to an extent if played with care and if parents let their child do it under their supervision, and don't let their kids fall for its addiction, we don't think that it may ruin a kid's life considering that kids have fear of their parents and they will not commit anything that could cause problems for their parents.
If there are parents that allow their kids to gamble at an early stage, they are open-minded parents but I don't see parents do that casually. It's hard to know if their kids won't fall into addiction because they might find out that their kids are playing even without their supervision. You'll never understand how it is going to happen or if you do, we've been through that process and there's no way to stop that unless there's early prevention coming from the parents. Kids these day, if you give them the favor, they're going to abuse it.

In this you are right, I think the best thing is that children who play do not play online, but play offline, there are many games and there are no dangers of addiction when parents have their full supervision, the danger lies when children play online , and they start to see unwanted advertisements.

In addition, the advantage that they do not play online is that there are no chats where they can interact with the players, there are many who are malicious that can do damage from there.

Yes, there are other things that the parents can do for their children offline and won't show and teach them how to gamble because that will give their children initial thoughts that it is okay to gamble because their parents say so. I agree about having the chat online, they can read things, nasty chats from other people that they don't even know if they will be introduced to it and that's a good solution just to find something to play with offline.
I wouldnt see this as a good idea and as a parent i wouldnt really be teaching my child any forms of gambling and wont really be making out some demo about it as best as i can.

You could eventually tell your children without the need of demonstration because once they do get hold or knowledge on how to gamble then you cant assure if they would really be avoiding it on next time encounter

or would dive in to play just because they do already know on how to play and we know that young minds are way too curious in things which its high probability that it could really happen.
2658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance too big to fail? on: August 16, 2021, 11:13:47 PM
Unless it's compromised, Binance would still be on top. The advantage using binance is that its early adoption upon taking No KYC rule for small traders. It invites more people in their platform which is probably the majority(small traders) and now produce their own blockchain with less fees compare to ETH. I like how they established everything in just a matter of 4 years and they really know what the general public wants. Fast transaction. Less fees and No KYC for small traders.
This is the only way i could see that Binance would totally or putting it out of business on where they would be possibly hacked  bigtime but for sure they have invested big money in terms of security.

They might  have some hacking incident or issues in the past but they had able to handle it well. They are aware about exchange hack and most of funds are on cold wallet and thats a good initiative

because everything is hackable no matter how tight the security is.Binance is big to fail?Sure it is but it isnt an assured thing but for now it is on the top spot.
2659  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC approaches resistance on: August 16, 2021, 09:23:05 PM
There is clearly no reliable resistance area on the chart, the only one I can think of is maybe $50K because its a nice round number. The last resistance I would say was $42K because it was resistance before we topped at ATH, then it was support, then it was resistance when we visited $30K. Since we broke $42K you can say we broke out of that range.

I think $42K is more of a strong support now. And $50K is a weak resistance if anything. I think the next major resistance is the ATH of $64K. Keep in mind one thing. Alot of people are bag holding in the $55-56K area. Most of those people will want break-even. So that is another area of interest where we might trade for a few weeks as the break-even sells are being absorbed by new buyers.

If we can break $60K, then I am pretty sure we will at least test ATH and perhaps break it and head to like $68K or $70K or so. Then who knows. Its still summer so volumes aren't the best.
You could really expect that people would go for +10k usd price level on where they do treat it up to be a resistance rather than going with other price level but seeing on technicals this isnt really the solid
resistance but well it isnt really that much of an issue though.

Whenever we do hit or break recent resistance then its normal for people to presume or go look after on hitting or breaking the next.We would need some news or demand in the market
before we would able to hit that previous ATH.
2660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: August 16, 2021, 08:24:36 PM
Losing in gambling affects much of our emotion compare to winnings and that is normal. Casinos will always win and we can’t change that thing, their business is to keep on winning. A game can attract players thru their platform, many are attracted to graphics and many are attracted to play to earn set-up which is the best scenario now with the nft games.
People are hooked with nft games today because of the feature of earning. And that's just the same in gambling, many are hooked because they've made money from it.
That cannot be removed from those people that have experienced earning from it because they're happy doing so and that's the same as the example you've mentioned.
Another reason people get hooked to those kind of games has to do with the feeling of being an innovator, after all we know that what they're doing is basically playing the lottery with their money when they are investing in those NFTs, so why they don't just play the lottery? Because the lottery is an old way of gambling, NFTs despite the fact that they are trying to make it seem as if it is an investment is just like the lottery, it is just that it is more modern and it makes people feel as if they are investing instead, and in those games that is what hooks people up.
NFT gaming and comparing it on Lottery is totally different literally but talking about risk then  it would really be just the same.Hooking up people or trying to get users isnt something that would be easy.

Doesnt matter on what industry they are focused into but they are sharing with the common goal which is to hook up people to play on the site or platform. It  doesnt  matter on what they are offering

thing here is that the could get revenue or sufficient demand and this is something that can be attained easily.
