2661  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: beginner's must have trading tips... on: April 05, 2020, 02:49:40 AM
Two good topics for you:
Choosing good exchanges, and using best trading weapons.
2662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people here would choose bitcoin as their form of payment? on: April 04, 2020, 03:33:41 AM
There are two sides:

- Most of newbies in crypto want to do their exchanges in bitcoin. They don't trust altcoins, if they have faith and hope in altcoins, it does not because they trust altcoins, it is only kinda FOMO.
- Most of exchangers (not newbies) want to finish their trades in bitcoin because it is less volatile than altcoins. And bitcoin price tends to be stronger than altcoins. Altcoins themselves have their own advantages, cheap fees, fast transaction speeds but most of people tend to use Bitcoin more than altcoins.
It is always a bigger deal to get a good rate for deals via altcoins but things are more easily with bitcoin.

2664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: April 04, 2020, 03:02:59 AM
I just want to let know that from today I am leaving the Digital Gold signature campaign in which I was enrolled for the last few months.

It was a pleasure to work with such a great campaign manager and for such a great company like Digital Gold.

I have to admit that this signature campaign is managed on a very professional level and I had no problems at all with anything.

Responsive manager and willing to help. payments on time every month, great product and company to advertise - I wish all signature campaigns could be like this one.

PS
By mistake, I have written this post here in the ANN thread and it was mentioned for the bounty thread.

OP or campaign manager, please let me know if I have to delete and move this post to the bounty thread or maybe it can stay here as it is?
I think your post is not completely off-topic because you mentioned many aspects of the GOLD project, about its signature campaign, their manager's professionality, and the reliability of the GOLD project. Their professionality is a good evidence of their reliability so I believe your appreciation on it should stay here.

Anyway, you are a great user and the GOLD company (I guess) has lucky to hire such participant like you. BTW, congratulations for your new campaign, bud.
2665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: April 03, 2020, 11:26:08 AM
Long-Term Dash Price Trend (Monthly Interval) on Poloniex.
Indicators used : RSI (40.10) & MACD (Positive momentum)

Source : Tradingview.com
Will it be a beginning for another rally of DASH? I still remembered the days DASH was exchange above 0.1 BTC for each DASH. It will be amazing to see DASH rallying back to just a half of that price range as a start of its new journey to the moon. The global financial crisis that caused partially by the COVID-19 and the globally fear (people started to fear about it) of cash in their daily lives will be very good forces and momentum for Digital Cash.

We don't have to tough to fiat cashes that are dirty, contaminated with many viruses and bacteria if we use cryptocurrencies and Digital Cash for expenses.
2666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💥SOLARIS PLATFORM [XLR] 💥100% PoS /w Cold-Staking 💥Txbit.io exchange! on: April 03, 2020, 11:17:08 AM
We explored every option trying to keep Txbit KYC-free, and at great expense, but it's just not feasible with the updated regulations.
I understood what Solaris team faced with to keep the txbit.io is KYC-free but regulations are the things we can not control on. Now, onwards we go with updated regulations and KYC-required for txbit.io. This week I see the txbit.io ad banner on the forum. If I am not wrong, it is the first time Solaris team decided to run an ad banner on the forum, the first time for both Solaris and txbit.io. It is a good switch to a new era for the exchange. Daily volume on txbit.io has been gradually risen, that is in my expectation.

2667  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary account banned! [Appeal][1+ year passed] on: April 02, 2020, 10:56:39 AM
From what I know, your odds is too low. About one year and your ban appeal has not yet been accepted while there are some ban appeals were accepted months ago. You can see from [TIPS] to avoid plagiarism and look at the part for Second chance after get perm-banned. You need to have good net effects to have acceptance from global moderators or admins. Moderators can only play their roles to give some reports of your case to global moderators or admins, that they probably did months ago.

[BAN APPEAL]UPDATE: Total table + Ban status (Need feedback from Global mods)

Anyway, good luck, Orchid.

2668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PoS/MN] Gentarium (GTM) | Masternode hosting platform | Shared MN service on: April 02, 2020, 10:39:24 AM
Honestly I used the Gentarium service and invested in Gentarium too. I don't blame on Gentarium team for anything relates to my investment because with investment, investors get profits or loses depend on their enter and exit price. But I don't really know what is going on with both the Gentarium service and the project. The last post of Gentarium team was made many months ago, on 2nd October 2019. Good news is developer still logged in account on the forum just a few days ago.

I am waiting for breaking news from Gentarium team too.
2669  Other / Meta / I self-quarrantined. Do your social distancing now on: April 01, 2020, 03:12:35 AM
Because of these:

"The virus is now s̴͜͠p̶̰͝r̷̰̅e̶̦̽a̵̼͂d̴͉̑ỉ̷̖n̸̙̏g̷̬͝ even online; practice social distancing!"

One infected user spred the virus in one of my topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5171113.260.

To avoid the spread of the virus, start from my topic, to other places on the forum, I decided to do serious things:

- Self-quarrantine myself one day.
- Lock that topic.

Let's see that I will be fine next days or will be infected. You guys should practice social distancing too, and stay safe.

I also lock the topic too.
2670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Secure, private, untraceable since 2012 on: March 31, 2020, 04:40:27 AM
Bytecoin is scam, bytecoin is dead
Correct. It is time to delist it from the remaining exchanges and be done with it.
I totally agree that Bytecoin is a scam one. I can not forget that back in the year of 2017, Bytecoin was traded from 1 to 2 satoshis, then it skyrocketed and the most terrible things is whenever it skyrocketed, it mostly could not be withdrawn from exchanges. Exchanges put the Bytecoin under maintenance. That is the most ugly things I saw.

Dogecoin is another low value coin and don't have developer activities but it has never had such maintenance when price skyrockets like Bytecoin.
2671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Leasehold -- official first Lisk Side-chain Project! on: March 31, 2020, 04:29:19 AM
Which exchanges will be the first ones for Leasehold? Can the Leashold team disclose about exchange listing plans, please.

I checked the wallet, and it seems all addresses end with L character, that stands for Leashold. But I discovered one point, the total character of Leasehold address is too short, about 10 (I did not how many I counted but about 10), do you think it will potentially cause unsafety for users?
2672  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hackers started to exploit Zoom apps to spread malware on: March 31, 2020, 03:56:47 AM
Maps, apps, and fake zoom sites. Hackers tend to very well to adapt to the hottest trend right now.

In a word, I would like to say, please stop hunting for news related to COVID-19, stop hunting for apps on COVID-19, on tracking past transportational information of infected cases, stop being paranoid about it. If you can maintain your responses to the pandemic like that, you will not be a victim of hackers.

People fall into bad and hazardous apps because of their curiosity. Sometimes I feel that reading news (it is the same for trading) daily about the pandemic make me more paranoid. I don't do that but I have that feeling for the others who hunting for news daily.
2673  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Old lesson: Don't rely on your phone. Always save your wallet seeds on: March 30, 2020, 02:38:41 PM
This attractive topic reminds me that I have that one, Newbies - Read before using exchanges or investing. I will quote only the section that relates to the OP's lesson.

Always backup, verify backup before storing funds in wallets.
[5] Testing seeds, private keys, wallet backup first, and only deposit money in those wallets when testing results are good
After verifying wallets (if that feature is available), and installing wallet on your devices, and doing back ups (in the [4] step). Now, it is time to test those backups on same devices or on other devices.
Checking all of those backups to make sure that in case your devices broken technically, you will be able to recover your wallets (there is no mispelling on seeds, private keys, etc.)
2674  Other / Meta / Re: Posts that are outdated / Needs to be locked up on: March 30, 2020, 12:23:15 AM
Hello OP,

You had a good plan but your plan and your work will be better if you spend a bit more time to include topic titles for your spotted topics. Maybe it is just me, but personally I don't like to click on link to visit all those topics. In contrast, if you include topic titles, I can quickly have a good overview on how good or bad one topic is. Shit topics mostly are written and named with shit topic titles.

How to add topic titles. It is so simple. Use url block and add topic title inside the block.
Code:
[url=linktotopic]topictitle[/url]
For example: This topic.

Has the PinkCoin developers still actively developed their projects? Has the coin been listed on exchanges?

I mined PinkCoin years ago, and almost thrown away my wallet but I still have backup to get coins back. Are there any good things for me to spend time to use my backup? From what I read, developers have not replied in recent pages.
2676  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who Are Financing Bitcoin Dev? on: March 30, 2020, 12:01:33 AM
I read the Bitmex research on who is funding Bitcoin, it is a very good thing for the space especially since the Bcash fork which create a huge divide in the space. I was just surprise that we don't have more miners supporting development of Bitcoin, I can only name Bitmain and Blockstream, this is not good, this just shows they are into the game for the money only
There is no fee that automatically allocated to Bitcoin developers from each block. Only Satoshi Nakamoto had a huge batch of Bitcoin from the genesis block and maybe some blocks later if he mined bitcoin years ago. For the rest developers, if they mined bitcoin, they have it, if not they don't receive anything from bitcoin network. I am not sure how Bitcoin developers receive their payments for their work, maybe indirectly from the network, from pools support them, or from donations, foundational funds.

Centralization of giant mining pools are always a bad risk for bitcoin network but still now that centralization has not yet caused replay attacks. We need more mining companies to keep the network more decentralized.
2677  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Browser to access bitcointalk on: March 29, 2020, 02:40:39 PM
Any browser is fine except for Tor which most people complain that it's slow.
On mobile, I mostly use Google chrome, but I use both firefox and chrome on PC. Anyone my cursor clicks on on first  Grin. I use both of this because of the website extensions(plugins).
In good conditions, of the Internet connection generally and the forum's operation status in particular, Tor browser works well. When Internent connection is bad or the forum's operation status is bad, don't use Tor browser. The browser can make you feel uncomfortable if you can not surpass captcha code but if you want to go through it smootly, you can use capcha code to log in. It will make your life better with Tor browser but the code has to be kept as safely as possible. Losing it to the others will result in your account lost/ hacked.

Many people use Chrome but if you are seriously about your privacy, don't use it.
2678  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fake Blockchain airdrop. Newbie should aware of it. on: March 29, 2020, 01:20:34 AM
Not only about the fake airdrop from a fake website, it is also important to avoid airdrops with KYC requirements as much as possible.

Hmm, Nowadays KYC is the biggest problem in crypto world. And joining an airdrop with kyc is nothing but worse. we all should aware of it.
Even the companies are legit, and seriously do and send airdropped tokens to hunters, KYCs are risky. On the other side, companies have to use KYCs to fight against cheaters. Nevertheless, what I worried about is personal documents can be stolen, leaked or sold out later. For whatever reasons of KYC document leaks, it will be bad, not good.

So everyone who join airdops, bounties that require KYCs need to aware of those risks.
2679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: March 29, 2020, 01:13:53 AM
There are huge things to be solve over the globe after the pandemic disappears. There are many issues, from economical to public health and communities to help the whole world back to normal life. It will play important role to boost the price of GOLD next one or two years.
I think next year will be great for the GOLD token because there is a big need for real gold and I am sure that the price will continue to rise.
It is good for now that GOLD tokens can be exchanged without any KYC. I hope it will last forever.
Undoubtedly. Gold prices are on upward trend and several investors I know are eager to add gold in their portfolios. However, other means of gold investment such as bonds or gold ETF are very stringent from KYC point of view and time-consuming. But Digital Gold have solved this problem and provide the gold ownership in most secure as well as private way. No doubt, Digital Gold buying volume will rise many folds this year.
As far as I know, KYC requirements depend not only on companies' owners but also on local law regulations. So if your local governments change their policies, maybe the platform will must require KYCs on customers. Of course, I hope it will be not what will happen in the near future.
Our company always wanted people to hold and trade gold without any restrictions. This is the way how tokenization should work. Therefore, we did not apply KYC methods and other methods of identification.

2680  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fake Blockchain airdrop. Newbie should aware of it. on: March 28, 2020, 05:33:17 AM
Not only about the fake airdrop from a fake website, it is also important to avoid airdrops with KYC requirements as much as possible. I understood that there are so many people around the globe, with them $5 or $10 means a lot of things, especially who are living in the third world. I respect them, honestly but if they have enough desire and motivation to learn about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, then practice on the forum (via posts), they will be able to get more income (regularly) than $5 or $10 at once and accept risks of losing their identity documents to third parties, no matter which companies they are.

Google can sell your data, Coinbase can, Blockchain.com can, they can do any shady things behind the scene and we don't know. When we know, it will be too late.
