What are the benefits for acquiring these accounts?

For the glory. The higher the rank the fewer restrictions you have.

Signature:

- Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 50 characters.
- Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 150 characters.
- Member: Unlimited length.
- Full: Color allowed.
- Sr. Member: Size allowed
- Hero: Background color allowed

Posting time:

Its just activity, see the formula you linked. Its boild down to 3 basic steps:

the first major reduction to 75-30 seconds once your activity is over 14, but still not 60 or higher
the second reduction to 30-27 seconds once your activity is 60 or higher, but still not 100 or higher
the third reduction to 12-4 seconds once your activity is 100 or higher.

Once you reached 500 actitivty you will be stuck at a 4 second limit, which I notice once in a blue moon.

....and if I can add one thing: to scam the other users, because an high (and trusted) account will give you the possibilty to scam an other user in the easiest and imaginable way. However the first benefit is the signature as hilariousandco said in his post.
2662  Economy / Speculation / Re: $245.. on: May 09, 2015, 12:02:54 PM
Every pump is a wasted effort to get the price higher, while whale traders happily dump loads of coins to bring people back to reality.

I wouldn't exactly call this whales dumping, i mean one fifth of the volume what it cost to get to 245 brought us back again.
When whales poop,  you will notice.

It seems that bitcoin is only a pump and dump manipulated by who 'have' a lot of bitcoin or a lot of FIAT currencies. Correct me if I am wrong (and I am surely wrong in my words....).

Aaand we are back where we started. Who would have expected that... a dead cat bounce... shocker!

We most certainly are not back where we started, we are higher. I think you need to look up dead cat bounce in a dictionary.

The start was a few cents of dollar, I will continue to use bitcoin untile its value will not reach 0 dollar.
2663  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning!!! Operatr(Hero)- scamer!!! on: May 09, 2015, 12:00:16 PM
I could have been done like this easily. Since he was a "hero member" who would have thought that he would steal $35. But I guess times are a changing. The account is worth more than that I would imagine. Probably 4 times more. Makes no sense really.

It can easily some newbie or jr.member that have bought that hero member to scam the community, who knows? The escrow is needed if you do not trust the other part, but I suggest the use of him always.
2664  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning Operatr(Hero)- scamer!!! on: May 09, 2015, 11:13:58 AM
Sorry for your loss.. Why don't bother an escrow ?,

This guy has so many alts, I'm quite sure he was the main actor behind all of the recent scams here and outside the forum.

As I have said previously the worst thing in this forum is that you do not know who are you talking, so it will be very insecure and if you do not use an escrow then in this case it is also your fault (I'm talking generally).
2665  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.25 BTC Loan No Collateral on: May 09, 2015, 10:39:08 AM
Now I think I know why he returned the 0.035 BTC loan so fast. Probably used to gamble on dices, and won.

I am thinking the same, when I have lent him those .035 bitcoin he ha repaid me in ~1 hours. When he received the btc he sent these two transaction:

and received this one:

2666  Economy / Services / Re: Post from my account on: May 09, 2015, 10:35:42 AM
What account are you wanting someone to post from? Are you willing to pay upfront and/or escrow the "fee" for posting?

I can pay upfront to trusted member. I will prefer using escrow.

Even if you are doing this there will be a risk for those who accept this job. Your account might get tagged as well if this account that you post from doin some fraud thing in the future, even if you use vpn or the other thing still there is a risk for that and it might not worth the 0.05 btc that he offer

I do not think it is against the forum rules so there will not any problem, the only thing that the OP should do is to use a trusted escrow. However 0.05 bitcoins for 20 posts is a good sum of BTC, OP if you are still searching someone can you send me a PM? Thanks.
2667  Economy / Lending / Re: loan needed of 0.03 btc [ collateral ] on: May 09, 2015, 10:30:56 AM
are you sure they are worth more then 20$?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1052494.0

you are selling them for 3$/each or 9$ for 3 accounts and here you are asking for a loan of ~7.5$
I doubt you will repay the loan

Well, I sell them cheap, other places you wont find cheaper than 20$, okay you think i am giving 3 accounts as collateral aren't enough ? Then i can give 4 such accounts max !

If you will provide a 'valid' collateral I can lend you these 0.03 bitcoins, but without a collateral I do not trust you ... because you can easily run away and don't repay (and it is so easy create a new forum account and do again the same thing).

There is already a valid collateral of addmefast accounts and other than this i have no other. Sad

But I do not know what is the 'value' of 1 addmefast account with 12'000 points (so we have 3 accounts with a total of 36'000 points) and sincerely I do not think if you will default the loan how can I (or who will give you the loan) sell those accounts.
2668  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.25 BTC Loan No Collateral on: May 09, 2015, 10:24:57 AM
looks like he is trying to sell his account to repay the loan and I think its ok as long as escrow repay the loan first before sending him any money.buyer is aware of pending loan on this account.

I hope he will repay the loan, good luck and when someone ask a lot of 'loan' in a short time ... then in this case there is something wrong.

Anyone that uses their head knows, and I mean anyone. Opertar said how they really 'needed' the funds badly and then they send it to a known scammer? No they are the scammer and probably the most stupid I have come across. The next step will be Operatr pming Neo saying give me 0.2-0.3 and I will give you the account, or maybe I am wrong but let us know please Neo, hope you get something back mate.
he say me that lost the coins gambling...

Really, can you post the conversation (if it is not a problem)?

Do you want a loan and think you are honest and active user, then reply to this thread Wink.

He also asked me to give him a positive feedback after the repayment of the loan (quicly) .... in the same way of rony_90. However @Operatr we are still waiting the signed message Wink and I hope that all this story will not turn in a completely scam.

Nice catch, here the post made by you :

With all the information. Maybe you are an alt of rony_90 , who knows....

2673  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.25 BTC Loan No Collateral on: May 09, 2015, 08:37:32 AM
Operatr has pending payment from CREDIT signature campaign.

I've talked with campaign manager and he said that he will put Operatr's payment on hold until this issue is resolved.

Interesting story, if he will scam you for only 0.25 btc I'm sure he will win the 2015 scammer award! Keep us informed Wink, thanks.

Neotox is forcing me to pay the loan back now, I have reduced the term to 15th but he is blackmailing me. How can I repay now if I don't have money. He even stopped that sig. campaign payment. If I get those it would be easier for me to repay.
yes I am forcing you to repay now because you tried to scam me and others
I don't have any trust on you,I think you are trying to get as much money as possible with this account

if you are a legit user why don't you sign a message

I think (maybe) it should be respected the initial loan terms, but without any collateral it is not simple. However I think the Operatr  account was sold to another 'person' and he can't sign a bitcoin message from that address (it is only my personal supposition).

I will try providing signed message once I get back home. Give me address which I need to sign

here you go ==>

can you sign a message from a bitcoin address posted in atleast 6 month unedited post and prove that your are the owner of this account and its not hacked

Yes, remember to include also the date in this format  day/month/year . We are waiting the message, and I hope to 'read' it as soon as possible Wink. For reference:

2674  Other / Meta / Re: Possible Ban Evasion - ToQcHista on: May 09, 2015, 08:34:08 AM
You don't need to post here. Report one of ban evader's post and put links as proof if needed. Here, put link to that post.

I think its good to see posts like these from time to time. It shows that the community is fighting with the staff against spam. They are not that frequent either.

Yes I think the same, but a simple PM to BadBear is more useful (I know you think that he is busy, but in less than 2-3 days he will reply for sure).

It looks like the guy just wanted to know about the miners, I wonder what violations did he committed.

He would post same question in multiple places.  Were talking 3 + threads.  Then wait a few days... and same questions came back.  It honestly seemed like language barrier to me at first.  But as he got more and more bored i'm guessing his trolling grew.  He did quite a bit in antpool, and S3 threads.  A lot of it is cleaned up now.

He started posting multiple places about 50 miner's.  He was explained the issue with an appartment running 50 miner's.  Then he would move to next thread.  And next...

So eventually I think was troll but sadly wasted time of people on questions pretending language barrier in my opinion.

And I appolgize if thread was not needed, It's first time I have reported anyone for this.

It is not always needed , However nice catch!

just so you guys know, He will be repaid in full in less than 48 hours.

Fantastic, once you will repay him I'm sure all the negative trust will be removed (and /or it will be added a few neutral trust).

I'm sure you will do the right thing...

2678  Other / Meta / Re: PSA: Use archive.is instead of, or combined with screencaps for evidence on: May 08, 2015, 06:12:46 PM
So esentially this website stores everything that is wrote in this forum and every other webpage? How can that be possible or is there something that i dont understand because you never explained what it is really

Basically : yes, that site keeps (store a page requestedby you) a sort of screenshot of the page (an image version and a web page version). It is more easy to use an archive.is aka archive.today page for reference here in the forum.

But as far i can tell it only stores something if you request it and everything that happened already here or anywhere else is not stored unless someone has it stored right?

Yes, but it is more secure to have another 'backup' outside this forum (for a question of neutrality and partiality).
2679  Economy / Speculation / Re: $245.. on: May 08, 2015, 06:04:01 PM
upward movement.. CRAZYNESS

In these months only a pump and dump, nothing else (it starts to (be) annoying).

Im praying to lord satoshi that is just another small time bump and we go down again. We need a long ass low price period for god's sake, how are we supossed to stack up on all this cheap BTC? Please stay LOW, otherwise it will be impossible to get any reasonable amount of BTC again.
We have tons of years to look forward to for an high price, no need to rush things.

As an user said "we are bitcoiners", so we are waiting the 10'000 dollars ... wait why dollars if you have btc. This is insane, why are dollar(ers) .
2680  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Accusation against user: lophie on: May 08, 2015, 05:59:27 PM
If I can say my personal opinion (if it is possible). I do not think lophie is a dishonest person, he is an active user here in the forum and he appears a good and legit 'user' so I think this is only a misunderstanding... and all this situation will be resolved (also privately, without all this public scene ).
