2681  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terrorist Planning to Kidnap Nigeria President on: July 28, 2022, 01:43:23 PM
I watch a documentary that happened long ago in some part of Africa where they successfully get to where the president is and killed him, If I'm not mistaken the country was Liberia, where corruption is widely spread, you can see it by watching the state of the people there. You can watch it on youtube to see how they cornered the president and ended his life. They really need to fix their country with everything they got, because when corruption will be eliminated, these so-called terrorists will also cease to exist, the example that is those countries that are successful for example Singapore, Japan, and South Korea.
2682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 28, 2022, 01:11:36 PM
For sure they will be very careful as they know their skills and their power. However, since Crawford is more defensive than Spence, I think he would win this fight and will avoid getting hit by the heavy shots of Spence. This fight is very unpredictable, no sure winner here for sure but everyone has their own prediction.  Smiley

Yeah right, it's like these two will be an advantage when one got the first powerful hit against his opponent and that would be quickly followed up when there will be no response. This happened when we saw the fight between Donaire and Inoue where the fastest to throw a destructive punch and land will win. More likely this kind of scenario will also happened in this fight because both fighters are known to be fast and powerful and also they are skillful to have their own signature punches.
2683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Website browser with mining features on: July 28, 2022, 12:48:25 PM
This is just a cover-up for what really the owner of that crypto miners wants. I assume that it has some referral program where you get more earnings when you successfully invite more people to install it in their computers or their browsers. It's clear that they only want to have more users to show some advertisement and just put some title about mining bitcoin because it's more trending nowadays but in reality, there is no mining going on and the only small payments they will give you is revenue from those advertisements.
2684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi’s exit - planned from day 1? on: July 27, 2022, 09:11:18 AM
Seems possible but I think he decided to hide when bitcoins were quickly recognized and more people are becoming interested in them at the same time there are lots of agencies all around the world who wanted to track him and the moment he felt he is being monitored, he didn't waste a time and quickly hide forever. The guy was actively participating in this community and posting as if he was just a common user but I think when it was time to disappear, he really made a vow not to post anything forever. If he is still alive, he might be here with us using a different name but he won't gonna tell us.
2685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 27, 2022, 08:17:03 AM

The Nets aren't likely to settle for anything less, and they will probably keep Durant next season if other teams can't offer anything. As for Harden's trade, I wouldn't say the Nets didn't get anything for him. Sure, Ben Simmons is absolutely useless to the team, and Drummond has already signed with the Bulls. However, the Nets also got Curry who has progressed well, and I think he'll perform even better next season.

If that's the case then KD will remain to play with Kyrie and they just need to fix their play to make it different from the last season where they really struggle to synchronize and have some chemistry issues with the new traded players. Of course, Seth Curry is no doubt a sharpshooter like his brother but he didn't get a chance to improve it when he was in the 76ers because as we know, he still has lots of misses however if he managed to somehow find a way to improve it right now in Nets, I'm sure he will be a nice addition to the team to change the course of their play to finally have a chance to compete in the NBA finals.
2686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paid the birth fee using bitcoin at the clinic, by accident. on: July 27, 2022, 07:22:49 AM
Congrats on the baby boy. Now this is what BTC was intended to be, a cashless P2P transaction that can be a tool, but not the saviour or the only means, how those laser eyed goblins make it out to be. Unfortunatelly, you had to see it from his shirt and not from a sign upfront and it still feels like it's fairly underground, but we need more P2P transactions like these. It remindad me about the story of a guy buying a car with BTC in Ukraine at the begining of the war.

Look at the convenience and how it works when the time you really need it the most, this is the same idea that Satoshi Nakamoto wanted to spread to the world but unfortunately, no matter how good your invention always ends up getting some critics who never appreciate and wanted to destroy it. Thankfully the OP shared this wonderful story with us because most of the time you only read about some successful investments using bitcoins nowadays, people forgot to realize the importance of having bitcoins in your crypto wallet as a means of payment and can be used for emergency as well.
2687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: July 27, 2022, 06:24:12 AM
Oh! he is given a chance to re-match with the opponent who beat him last time? I think this one here is likely we need to watch since both fighters already gauged each other's strength where they can take each other's punches that's why they even reached the final round in their last fight. Seems like we will gonna see some real clash in the ring with these two powerful punchers and might be their last chance to show us some rivalry fight.
2688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUSD or USDT? Which stablecoin is safer? on: July 27, 2022, 05:55:33 AM
I'm gonna go for BUSD since I'm using it often when I convert some altcoins in BSC smart chain however when I used both of them, I never find any problem for those two are really convenient to use especially when you need them. As of now, my choice is BUSD because they have a feature in Binance where you can sell it using P2P which makes it more efficient to choose because you can dump it whenever you like.
2689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla: "We have converted approximately 75% of our BTC into fiat currency" on: July 26, 2022, 12:35:45 PM
Couldn't it be just another manipulative movement from Elon Musk to play with market's prices? He expects to be followed by big investors on his steps, so when he announces he is going to sell bitcoins or has sold bitcoins, others will simply do the same, dumping the price even more, therefore Tesla and Musk can buy bitcoin again much cheaper and increase their holdings, wealthy and influence.

Yeah! because most likely things like this are hidden from the public and no one really shares it unless they have hidden agenda concerning their moves. Though this is some kind of misfortune for them since they sold it low rather than holding it a little longer to recover their loss, this literally nothing to them compared to their total assets as a company. On the other hand, I consider this publicity a strategy to manipulate the crypto market at some point but people nowadays are wise and decisive, they won't just believe what they said.
2690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 26, 2022, 08:39:24 AM
I'm actually still quite doubtful for a boxer who is 40 years old fighting but for GGG this might be one or the exception because indeed as you said he still has a good chin and body resistance in the ring and his brutal fight last April clearly proves that his age is not enough. limit the power of the blow.
This fight is a condition of prestige so I don't think it will be easy to make a decision by favoring one side just because of their age.

It seems like a close match for me considering where they came from their last fight and it's just some kind of common sense where you think they have the same gauge of stats since Canelo also came from a loss so his confidence to win might be questionable when he will face GGG which hasn't been lost since he loses to Canelo in their last fight. Now that they are finally given a chance to prove to the world who is stronger and better, we will gonna see a better version by both of these incredible boxers than in their last fight.
2691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I will Never Fall Again on: July 26, 2022, 07:49:44 AM
The thing is, no one can share their false idea regarding bitcoins or any other cryptocurrency-related issues because as soon as they posted their mere speculation or some delusions regarding bitcoins, members are quick to reply especially those who know exactly what's going on and they will quickly be corrected on what rubbish they are blabbering about. In other words, most of the time when you read some topics regarding bitcoins here, consider it to be true when you see all the veteran members agree with what the OPs are saying.
2692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Gambling be Banned? on: July 26, 2022, 03:13:20 AM
Gambling can never be banned - it is the life support for the people and sometime it is very helpful for the economy for bringing in the revenue.
However even in the countries where gambling is banned - now they have found the ways to gamble and there is no stopping. People would not let the gambling banned.

In those countries, they saw the harm of gambling and decided to completely banned it to make sure they will lower the risk of their people's depression because as we already know, there are lots of people who lost compared to winning when it comes to gambling. But some people are just hard-headed and pursue their high-risk hobbies even though their governments forbid them from doing so. When they messed up themselves, they don't have anyone to blame but their own desire, and their government are free of what they have done with their life.
2693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the time to just wait for the price of Bitcoin to come down. on: July 26, 2022, 02:37:28 AM
Not everything in crypto needs to revolve aroumd profit and an investment turnaround. If people support this project on a deeper level, then it really dosen't matter if the buy low and sell high, if the market is up or down. This is an interesting social experiment and let's see what can come from it.

That's really a good purpose if they just want to buy it without expecting high returns profits rather they just want to completely support him by hodling some bitcoins to raise its price when the market is not going well. People really do this kind of stuff because they believe in what Satoshi Nakamoto said about financial freedom and mostly these people don't need the money they invested in bitcoins for their essential needs. That's why it's really important rules in investment to have that kind of mindset where you only invest the money you afford to lose because when the market is not looking good, you are gonna race with those people who panicked to quickly sold their bitcoins, you only make things worse if ever.
2694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu's future on: July 26, 2022, 02:08:46 AM
According to my observations I think that this coin will grow but not really sure whether i should try to buy and hold some or try micro trading. I'm sure that there're lots of experienced traders who can give me an advice

This token has been listed to our local exchanges recently I'm thinking those guys will not list this crypto if they don't sure it will benefit their investors because listing fraudulent tokens will damage their reputation and may be the reason to close their exchange in the future. Anyway, this kind of thing cannot rely on 100% you still need to sacrifice some few hours of your life to make your own research about it and decide whether to invest or just pass on it.
2695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 25, 2022, 11:10:03 AM
^^ I was surprised though about the picks that they are willing just to get Durant.

For me it doesn't make sense to have the many, it's going to be a big risk for the Celtics. Their team is already solid behind Tatum, they have reach the finals already, now they have the experience already. And it's going to be close to suicide if the trade bait is Brown and then those picks, doesn't make sense.

Looks like they really want that championship and it seems like this is the only way for them to get it also Boston Celtics are not only into the vision of a championship rather, but they also making money here when they gonna acquired Kevin Durant and it seems like he still can bring big market value to the team than those players traded for him. Though Boston can go back to the finals again, they will surely struggle to win the championship because GSW is on other levels.
2696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the real impact of cryptocurrency mining? on: July 25, 2022, 10:46:14 AM
If Europe bans it, Russia will rightfully step in and welcome the miners to setup operations in their country. That's how international businesses work so miners will never run out of choice.

That's really one of the major advantages of the miners when they are not welcome in certain countries, other countries will offer them home to operate freely and of course, they will both make profits. Those bitcoin haters always find some way to accelerate the banning and stoping the operations of miners all around the world but thankfully they are always behind when it comes to reasoning because other countries seem intelligent enough to ignore their so-called warning which is kinda bias.
2697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 25, 2022, 09:45:05 AM

Let's skip for now the discussion about the issue of being "delayed" on any information or updates regarding this fight.

What's your input and feedback guys about Danny Garcia's recent statement that Errol Spence Jr. is too strong for Terence Crawford. When we say "too strong" it means he views the fight as a landslide victory in favor of Spence. I respect his view and even though I'm looking forward to Spence winning at this mega-bout, saying Spence is too much for Crawford is like underestimating the latter.

Errol Spence "too strong" for Terence Crawford says Danny Garcia

Since he lost by Unanimous Decision to Spence, he felt every punch throughout the rounds and made him say this statement. Though too strong, when boxers will surprise their opponent by executing a strong strategy that will gonna break their opponent's defense, they will more likely win the fight. We already see such a scenario when Dmitry Bivol dominated Canelo Alvarez and outboxed him with some surprising winning strategy that completely works to beat him.
2698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Luna Classic - Thoughts? on: July 25, 2022, 08:49:41 AM
So many post asking for our thoughts on Luna classic but my stands remains the same, any thing concerning Luna be it classic or what ever it’s very risky, I personally believe Luna has failed it’s holders and users and it has would take a miracle to revive Luna. Many holders are waiting for at least for the price to reach quarter to what they invested in Luna so they can make a sell move on with this you would know the future isn’t bright for everything Luna,

They never learn because they see some opportunity to invest and make their life better again once they win this new investment opportunity but the reality is they forgot the risk which will lead them to suffer even more because once a scam coin will remain a scam coin no matter how much they changed or make it new. The bottom line is, that you need to be very careful when it comes to investments such as this one because they already lied to their investors and to lie once more, is probably the easiest thing for them. Also to have some similar projects is also red light for me, seems they just only create such projects to scam people.
2699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoin seem to have a high influence over other cryptocurrencies? on: July 25, 2022, 08:28:12 AM
Simply because it has some successful history and some kind of anonymity that other coins don't have and also the feature that every coin doesn't have which is its creator is no longer controlling or developing bitcoins features rather the creator of bitcoins lets everyone do their own contribution on how they will use bitcoins like for example using it as a personal asset that no one can touch except its rightful owner and makes it as a mean of payment and others.
2700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 24, 2022, 03:52:53 PM

There are only a few who do that in order to make their team better, James Harden is a good example though. Well, he is reach enough because had some huge contract in the past and if he utilize his money well, then money is not a problem for him now.

One of them is Dirk Nowitski when he sacrifices his salary to return to their team back then and it paid well when they wins the championship, a legit championship from his own loyal stay in Mavericks where they make avenge their controversial loss to Miami in their last NBA championship game. Now if Harden will gonna make this one right, he could maybe improve their team to be one of those who will compete in the NBA finals.
