not true at all, no one in Canada has anythign stolen by our very socialist govt and the majority of Government programs benefit all Canadians. Not a single Canadian is against our universally free health care, you never hear us complain about or socialized programs, we only take advantage of them and you never hear us complain that other people decided on our money because its done through taxes wich Americans already have, in Canada we have a bigger middle class and a better quality of life for our worst off. remember a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Plus , you spend the money anyways instead of taxes that cover you schoolign and health care, you pay through the nose for school and health care. You end up paying anyways How much of your Bitcoin are your ready to forfeit in taxes each years (wealth tax) and how much of your new Bitcoin (income tax) and how much at each purchase (vat)? It seems a bit odd that a real hero member would feel the need to say "I'm a hero member", we all can see that. It indicates some confidence/self-esteem mental issues which would fit a profile of an insecure newbie who just bought a hero account and is now very scared of being exposed. As far as I know, the Olympic Games lose money despite all the merchandising, since the games use tax payers money they should be abolished or downsized to a more manageable level.
This money waste happens only in case of country's without proper infrastructure. Unfortunately this is what is happening most of the time... Why bother throwing Olympics in highly developed area with all the stadiums and hotels when you can organise it in 3rd word? Wasting tremendous amount of cash on unfair public deals and auctions. Its really beyond me, the IOC is basically promoting corruption and fraud in weaker areas of our planet. This is what needs to be abolished. Indeed fact no, they always lose money because Olympic commission keeps the profit and give only a small budget to the city welcoming the games. But it's only because they're assholes, on overwhole it makes huge profit! |

I think this is why Warmers, even those who are actual scientists, tend to do very poorly in debates and discussion with climate skeptics.

It is pretty clear to me as an observer that this is a defensive strategy on the part of the Warmunistas and it is abundantly clear why the strategy is necessary. Debates did occur in the past and thanks to technology they have not all been memory-holed. One of the most interesting take-aways I've had from these are that early on, the fascination with the money-making potential of the global warming fear mongering was palpable. While we no longer see debates on the actual science, we can see opertunistic wealth generation in abundance these days. Much of it occurs through intercepting value as it transferes through the 'sustainable growth' and 'green energy' systems which have been forged in the ovens of the political machine. Sadly, the blog writer linked to thinks nothing of lying in the pursuit of his cause. I quote- The basic dilemma of climate denial is that, for decades, science has pointed to two very clear conclusions. First is the overwhelming evidence that the planet is warming. Second is the overwhelming evidence that the warming is due to human activity Quite obviously, although any number of scientific articles can be dredged up to support it, if the planet is warming it would be only a fraction caused by human activity. (See IPPC reports). But then this "Adam Frank" does describe himself as a "science evangelist." Well i guess that at least agree on the first conclusion. For the second conclusion... Well let's say that the corelation between human activity increase and CO2 increase is not a proof, but it would be an incredible coincidence no? |

Nearly 120,000 bitcoins stolen. Stuff like this happening does not instill confidence in bitcoin. I worry about the future of bitcoin. Seriously thinking of selling mine.
This is an unlicensed exchange, I don't think it will do anything to harm bitcoin's attractiveness to new or current investors. Doesn't matter. It means that most of the people who were holding some btc here are not going to use it anymore. We lost thousands of users because of the hack, it will hurt btc and a lot. |

Good. Then we all agree that faucet limits are a rather brute force solution, I'm glad you lift it for the principle of it. But if abuses come back to a too high level, I bet you could also seize the whole account and profit of those who abused it. A much simpler solution would be to forbid double account, without an account to tip, it gets much harder to farm the faucet IMHO Agreed, ideally we'd like to crush this issue so we can increase the reward for legitimate users. We wouldn't restrict access to one account due to many of our users having secondary accounts such as "bank" accounts to manage funds. Yeah but funds management isn't exactly good for you xD That's why it's profitable to earn money from faucet on pd. Écluse if you win you can send it to your bank account then stack it and finally withdraw it. |
