2681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost over 80k because i sold too early (newbie mistake) on: February 16, 2018, 08:58:22 PM
A while ago i went all in ZClassic and bought about 365 Coins when the price was about 2$ per coin, but i decided to sell a couple of days after.
Two weeks later zclassic mooned and i could make about 80k now.

i learned my lesson in the hard way..

Never sell the whole position if you are not sure. Sell one half for USD. In this way you won't regret if your position will go down or up. It would be the same for you Wink
2682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: February 15, 2018, 09:26:25 PM
Yes I believe in the crypto currency. I have studied many projects and I am confident that as soon as they are implemented into reality the life of society will become much better. Ofc there is a conflict between the government and the crypto currency, but I hope that a compromise will be found.
2683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which will be the dominating scalable coin? (NEM vs. IOTA vs. Radix vs. EOS...) on: February 15, 2018, 08:51:32 PM
An important aspect for a cryptocurrency to be become big is scalability.
Ethereum recently pumped due to Bitcoins lack of scalability, but the bancor ICO showed that Ethereum also scales poorly.

So the next big thing will probably be a currency that scales well. But which one will be the leading one?

NEM (with catapult), IOTA, Radix and EOS probably will be able to handle thousands of transactions per second.
In my opinion this is worth nothing if there is no pruning to remove old data. However, it is difficult to find information about which of these coins are able to efficiently prune old data.

So an important question this thread could answer is which of them actually scale well enough for mass adoption (by for instance having efficient pruning).

Furthermore, all these coins have different capabilities. EOS is a full Ethereum competitor, NEM can run simple smart contracts and Radix has several applications running on top of it (I did not get into it). Not sure about IOTA. Which of them has in your opinion the best capabilities and how important will this be to become the dominating currency (in market cap)?

... and of course there is still bitcoin. Do you think the lightning network will solve bitcoins scalability problem?
I see the problem that the technology is complicated (you need to keep a payment channel open all the time) might be too late (we need a solution now and not in a year) and in the end all lightning transactions must still be settled on the blockchain which still requires huge blocks for mass adoption.

I like NEM, especially their philosophy and the consensus type they use. But I'm afraid they will not release catapult on time and EOS will take the leadership...
2684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ripple rise again? on: February 15, 2018, 08:48:15 PM
I have been waiting for the growth of XRP for a long time and I believe that it will soon happen. Today the coin was pumped up and this is a good sign. I think that a lot of ripple holders are already tired of seeing how their portfolios bleed.
2685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese New Year 2018: Will this effect the markets? on: February 15, 2018, 08:44:19 PM
I refuse to believe that Chinese New Year affects the market somehow. Of cource China is the huge part of the community, but it shouldn't influence the market so much. Don't pay much attention to FUD about it)
2686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite way to cash out? on: February 14, 2018, 07:58:14 PM
Recently I've started to use epayments system. It allows to change crypto directly to your wallet/debit card. They have pretty good exchange rates and nobody spy on me except them Wink But as they claim they are not provide any info to banks and tax services. But anyway it's good for small amounts.
2687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Myetherwallet question on: February 14, 2018, 07:43:46 PM
If I want to generate for example 10 Ethereum addresses and I want to use Myetherwallet , I have to create 10 different keystore/.json  files and then use these files to access each address separately? Because that seems insanely annoying, considering that in principle it's advice against re-using the same address, I would have a bunch of these files to store, each with their own password...

Can I just get a file that can work as a seed that can spawn a bunch of different addresses? for example, you can use electrum, and save a file that you can load in electrum and have access to as many addresses as you want, not only 1 address per file. Is there any wallet that does this?

It would be much more safe and convenient to use a hardware wallet. It allows to have a lot of ETH addresses which you would be able to control through MEW. If you have at least $500 in eth/tokens it definitely worths to buy Ledger/Trezor!
2688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the hottest current ICO? on: February 14, 2018, 07:10:10 PM
Seele will open whitelisting tomorrow. It's a blockchain project so I think it could become very popular. The whitelisting will be opened from 15 Feb 16.00 GMT up to 21 Feb, but I guess they will reach the whitelist hardcap (10000) really fast.
2689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WePower or Envion? on: February 14, 2018, 06:56:51 PM
Although Envion ICO has come to an end but I think I will go for Envion rather than WePower. The Envion ICO was a huge success. If you were unable to buy during the ICO, you can get it once it is on the exchange. It is a coin with great potentials.
Envion is already trading on the stock exchange with valuable more than it was on ICO, this despite the fact that they have not even launched a single MMU container! I think Envion will grow faster than WePower

I can't understand why does Envion not listed at coinmarketcap? Where the heck can I find exchanges where Envion trades? On the other hand WePower is listed at CMC already and it was in a few days after ICO over.
2690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dogecoin legit? on: February 13, 2018, 09:19:25 PM
Is a fun coin but a very stable and usable one. Many exchanges use it as a means to convert between alt coins

It is legitimate for this purpose only, transferring between exchanges and saving on fees. Besides that there really is not much use-case here but this is crypto and it has survived for 2 years beyond that. So if you want to feel secure you probably can while investing in Dogecoin because it is a coin that seemingly never dies, despite how much not development is going into it Grin.

Yeah, you're right. I guess that every experienced member of this market is pretty surprised why doesn't DOGE become dead since it was abandoned by the development team. But I guess the answer is pretty trivial - it's just cheap to use it.
2691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MyCrypto or MyEtherWallet on: February 13, 2018, 09:12:57 PM
Myetherwallet+ ledger is actually a great combo. So I Will stay with MEW until There Will be a wallet with real different features

I guess the most ppl will continue to use MEW just because they used to. But if mycrypto will provide some usefull features (I don't even know what could they offer), I'd probably move to mycrypto too.
2692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is bounty hunting bad/Harmful for bitcointalk Account? on: February 09, 2018, 12:20:45 PM
I just seen the new spammer list from a legendary rank brother. Many bounty hunters are on that list. Is posting bounty work report is spam? It means  i shouldn't participate in bounty campaign?
Thank You.

It's not about the participating in bounty campaigns, it's all about the quality of your posts at all. I suppose that there are tons of shitposters and it's a very hard work to determine such a members and clean them out. I'm also some kind of a bounty hunter but I always try to help with my knowledge and experience sharing. Just keep the rules of the forum and everything will be fine.
2693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet changing to MyCrypto.com? on: February 09, 2018, 12:10:56 PM
I think that an old friend is better than the new two, and at first I definitely will not switch to a new wallet.

Yeah, it would be pretty hard to use something else than MyEtherWallet at first))) But in a few weeks it would become very common for sure Wink I guess it's a good move and I like the new name.
2694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin under 1$ to invest in now? on: February 09, 2018, 11:40:47 AM
I think that NEM is a great coin for long-term investment that is currently under $1. Now the price of this coin is about $0.5 but in a few years it can be significantly increased. This is a very strong project which has great plans for several years. I like their philosophy.
2695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: February 08, 2018, 05:12:58 PM
Let be real. How many of you guys actually read the whitepaper? I read whitepaper sometimes, but reading multiple of them can be a burden and a headache. Do you guys got any tips on getting through whitepaper a little faster. It killing a lot of time. Thank.

In order to choose the right IСO project or coin for investment we must necessarily read the white paper. I am serious about investing so I always study the project. This allows almost always make the right decisions in the field of ICO investments.
2696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ripple comes to 2 dollar by end of Feb 2018 on: February 08, 2018, 04:59:45 PM
Ripple reacted to the good news very poorly. I was hoping that the price would go up more actively. Probably this was not enough to push the price of the coin up. But I am sure that this year the coin will significantly rise in price. But frankly this fall was pretty evident due to the last surge size.
2697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is a million dollars possible? on: February 07, 2018, 10:34:42 PM
I'm sure that you can earn a million dollars with crypto. And not the only one Wink In a few years coins which are not included in the TOP-50 or even don't exist will be able to grow a lot. If you invest in them a good amount of money you will get an excellent profit in a few years. Of course the current goal is to get the best coins Wink
2698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to buy LiteCoin - King of all Coins! on: February 07, 2018, 10:29:15 PM

I do not think that Litecoin can become a coin number 1. This coin was always the younger brother of bitcoin and never claimed the first place. Even if the team translates all of its plans into reality, LTC will not become a leader. It's just a pilot area for BTC Wink
2699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The paranoia of being recognized... on: February 07, 2018, 10:24:55 PM
I'm not a paranoic about that but I'm sure that money love silence. I believe that even if somebody envy to your success it could be very harmful for you. I prefer to keep silence about my wallets and profits even for best friends.
2700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low prices, are you excited about the situation? on: February 07, 2018, 10:15:28 PM
Low prices are not the reason for the excitement. I am sure that this is an excellent occasion to buy coins. The crypto market is very volatile and it is constantly falling and recovering. I'm calm about falling bitcoin because I've already seen a few falls and it's hard to scare me))
