2701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How ethereum gas fee work?? on: July 02, 2021, 01:41:22 PM
I observe ethereum gas fee from previous 2 years . but I am confused because I not get the reason that why ethereum fee become high and high automatically and become low and low automatically without any reason and especially ethereum gas fee become too high in claiming of any ido token .
What the reason behind it what kind of mechanism behind it which control ethereum gas fee.
Plz share your taughts

The gas fees don't become high and low out of nowhere automatically as you said but is always a matter of how high the traffic on the Ethereum network is at the moment. It's actually quite simple. Only a certain amount of transactions can be managed within 1 Ethereum Block (around 150 per Block) and a new block is mined approximately every 13 seconds. Whenever there is a lot going on in the ETH network like in times of a pump or a dump where a lot of people want to sell their tokens or buy new tokens then a lot of transactions need to be processed. Which means more and more transactions are pending. If you want your transaction to be processed fast than you need to increase the gas price to get ahead of all those pending transactions. That's how the gas price can increase so massively over a short period of time.
2702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 02, 2021, 10:06:58 AM
Today begins the Quarter Finals:

Switzerland vs Spain
Of course Spain are the favorites to win this game. But I see Switzerland capable of surprising. Maybe another game that goes to extra time.

Belgium vs Italy
Belgium will definitely try to play a counterattack. But Italy are good at defending and attacking, I think they will come out winners.

I think that Switzerland was the bigger underdog in their match against France and everyone knows how the outcome of this match was, but i am still pretty sure that Spain will win this match. A big factor why Switzerland managed to beat France was the fact that they were underestimated by the French. After 3-1, France played quite arrogantly and unmotivated. That was why Switzerland could score 2 more goals.
Spain will not repeat that error especially now that Switzerland has proven that they are capable of beating big teams. My bet is one close win for Spain.
2703  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC fall below $30,000? The high-yield risk opportunities are in MEME? on: July 02, 2021, 09:12:40 AM
I am now neutral on whether the bull market is still in place.

If the market changes to a big bull market, does it mean that meme coin has better returns?

After all, there is only 1-3 times the room for BTC to increase. Memes coins such as Dogecoin, SHiba, Dogira, TadPoleTADP and other animail coins have even higher declines, and rebound gains will be dozens of times. maybe? What do you think?

I think that you are right that there is not enough room anymore for BTC to do a x20 or a x100 from the current price level and you are also right that meme-coins had far greater losses over the last few weeks than Bitcoin. Does that mean though, that Meme-coins will rise faster and stronger than BTC once we are back in a bull market? I am pretty sure that this will not be the case. I would even say most of the meme-coins will never rise again and will be dead within the next few months. Yes Dogecoin will surely survive and maybe will also rise in the future and maybe also one or two of the second generation meme-coins like Shiba or safemoon but i doubt that they will reach their ATH again and all those other hundreds of meme-coins that came out in the last few weeks will surely die.
2704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 01, 2021, 08:26:35 PM
It's a sad year for TNC, because of the changes in the DPC season they should already been qualified with majors that they've won. But now, they're on the qualifiers battling for the only slot due to the system. Actually, I'm rooting for Fnatic and we'll see if Neon will push them to lower bracket.

Well TNC has performed well so far even though the series versus Boom Esports was very close in all 3 games and every game took longer than 60 minutes and therefore it was quite tense to watch as every bad executed teamfight in such a late stage of a game basically means a loss for your team, so both teams must have felt completely under pressure in those moments. TNC will face Fnatic, which managed to beat Neon with 2-1, now in the upper bracket final and for me the outcome of that series is completely unpredictable. The lower bracket matches are also pretty good but for me Boom ESports is the clear favorite in their series against Galaxy racer.

This afternoon Federer will play his second round against Gasquet, I hope Federer will win but he needs to step up his game. In his first round against Mannarino, he made a lot of unforced errors.

From their h2h, Federer was far ahead, even Gasquet was only able to win on clay which is his specialty. Federer looks like he will win but not easily, because he hasn't shown a good performance seen in the first round He lucky won, his opponent injured and decides to pull out.

To be honest i would not bet on Federer today. As you already said he did not look good at all against Mannarino he was the worse player and if Mannarino would not have been that incredibly unlucky with his injury then it was very much that Federer would already be out of the tournament now. I am pretty sure though that the main reason why Federer did not play well in the first round was also the wet grass. He just came back after a 1-year break because of a knee surgery and i am pretty sure he was very worried that the surface was so slippy and if you only think about that circumstance all the time then you are not able to perform well.
2707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After China, Now it's Mexico's Turn to Ban Crypto on: July 01, 2021, 12:11:05 PM
After the Chinese government banned the use of cryptocurrencies a few weeks ago, the Mexican government is now banning the use of cryptocurrencies in the financial system.
https://www.coindesk.com/mexicos-treasury-secretary-confirms-cryptos-are-banned-from-financial-system

Will the ban have a negative impact on the future of crypto? there are already several countries that prohibit the use of cryptocurrencies.

Now after a day it is safe to say that the news about Mexicos ban of cryptos from the financial systems did not have any negative impact on the price as they are holding quite ok and i don't see any movements aside from the normal market fluctuations. I kinda have the feeling that such news don't have that big of an impact anymore like 2 or 3 years ago. I mean the news of chinas crypto ban and the shutdown of mining farms had some impact but that is a exception because china has highest population of all the countries on earth (soon it will be India though) and a lot of the big mining farms are located in china.
2708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales manipulate the market? on: June 30, 2021, 04:08:41 PM
I see many people wondering. Do whales manipulate the market?
I found website, it contains all the information about whale wallets we need to know:

You can be pretty sure that whales are manipulating the crypto market just as they manipulate every market that exist out there on this planet. I even think that the crypto market is way easier to manipulate then the other more traditional financial market that exist. The reason for that is quite simple, the total marketcap of all cryptos combined is still relatively low compared to for example the stock market and the price movements of every crypto altcoin that exist is still connected to the price movement of bitcoin. So if one big whale decides to dump their Bitcoins it still has the potential to move the whole crypto market into a downward spiral.

It's a shame Germany lost, I didn't like England's game... They didn't play football and they didn't let Germany play! It was a classic England bus... I hope Ukraine can win them, although it's almost unreal...  Grin
But this is exactly how you win a tournament like this. Not with a beautiful game, but with an efficient one!
I just saw that England now is the favorite to win according to the sportsbetting websites! Well at least the have the seemingly easy way to the final at least  Wink

I am very surprised that the bookmakers think that England is the main favorite now, have they not watched the games of the EURO so far? It's true that the possibility of England reaching the final are very high because they will play Ukraine in the quarterfinal now and then afterwards the winner of Denmark vs. Czech Republic in the semi finals. If they reach the final though they will probably face Italy/Spain or Belgium and all of those 3 teams are better than England in my opinion. Everything is possible in one game though and of course England has a chance to beat any of those 3 teams in one game even if the chances are not that high.

https://www.espn.com/chalk/story/_/id/31732427/london-based-bettor-wins-136-million-six-leg-parlay-harris-english-putt

This is the most insane winning parlay I've ever seen.  And with the last leg resting on a golf match that went deep into a playoff.  Would have had a heart attack watching myself

Best parlay ypu ever won or seen a story on?

Well that's probably one of the craziest bets that somebody ever won. Congratulations to that guy. I would imagine he did this bet just for fun probably while he was drunk  Smiley because he only bet 15$ so even if he had lost the bet he would not have a significant loss. So i would put this monumental win not under the category "a bet that was won because of great knowledge of the sports and thorough research" but more in the category "once in a lifetime lucky bet comparable to hitting the jackpot in a big national lottery draw", so i don't think that we can learn anything here from that bet, but it still shows what is possible if everything aligns in your way.
2711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make good profits through ICOs? on: June 30, 2021, 10:53:05 AM
Hi there, I was looking at a couple of ICOs on CMC today (especially at Safelaunch) and it's been a while that I started to analyze the "results" of some previous ICOs like Centrifuge, Bytenext and other random coins.

I noticed that their ICO price was way lower even than the very first opening price, so I was wondering if it could be a good idea to regularly take part in these events, and, if an ICO allows me to freely manage the money I placed in it (for instance, immediately taking back my money if my profit target has been reached).

P.S: with "good profits" I don't mean bullshit like 10x, 100x and "to the moon", (obviously everyone has a different conception of "good profits"), but a decent amount of money that allows me to make an accumulation plan, would be great to see other people's experience.

It always depends on the overall state of the market if you can make a good profit by participating to an ICO. Also classcial ICO's like back in 2017 or 2018 where projects collected almost unlimited funds like 50M and more during their public-sale are over. Today most projects have a seed round and a private round which can only be accessed if you are a influencer or a VC or in a pre-sale group and then only a very small amount of the tokens (like 1 or 2%) is going into the public sale in most cases. So usually you have like 300 available spots for example for a public sale but 10000 applications for that spots so it's very luck based and random. If you manage to get a public sale spot of a good and hyped project than a good profit is very much possible though.
2712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 29, 2021, 05:48:14 PM
Very weak from Müller, he have to make such a goal normally. The English play well and disciplined, but I still think that Germany still manages to draw and it goes into overtime. Just under 10min Germany still has time.

Kane just scored the second goal for England now so the game is done. Congratulations to England as they advance into the quarterfinal and now they have a realistic chance to go into the final too as their opponent in the quarterfinal is the winner of sweden vs. ukraine which both seem like very beatable opponents. If they success to win the quarterfinal then they will face the winner of czeck republic vs. denmark which again are both teams that England should be able to beat.
I don't think England has a chance in the final though against Italy/Belgium or Spain because those three teams are just at least 1 level above England.
2713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Guys Think About So-Called "Shit-coin" ? on: June 29, 2021, 04:21:10 PM
This days there are so many tokens appearing with a very large total supply, tokens like this are often called "Shit-coin/shit-token".
Many people say that this benefits the crypto world, but there are also those who say that it actually make the crypto world looks bad.

What do you guys think about this issue ?

I definitely belong to the second group here. I think that all those meme-coins that were appearing within the last 2 months or so are definitely not good for the crypto market, i actually believe they were harmful for the whole crypto space and also one of the main reasons why the market began dumping around mid may. I don't think it's a coincidence that the height of the meme-coin hype and the beginning of the market dumping happened around the same time. Those meme projects just took away to much liquidity and capital from "real" projects with a use case and a product. It is also not a good impression for people outside of the crypto "bubble".
2714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 29, 2021, 10:37:32 AM
Yes I lost my bet on Tsitsipas yesterday I was really expecting him to get past Tiafoe.

I guess no one expected Tsitsipas to go out yesterday. I mean Tiafoe is one of those players that I always think to myself, why isn't he at least in the top 20 the way he plays. So far he just hasn't been consistent enough in his performances. Yesterday, however, he managed to play a complete game at a high level.
It's not good for the whole tournament in my opinion that Tsitsipas is already out as he was considered by most experts to be one of the most promising candidates to challenge Djokovic for the title this year. I don't think Federer can challenge Djokovic this year. Maybe Zverev, Medvedev or Berettini have a chance.
2715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptocurrency has best future? on: June 29, 2021, 10:27:07 AM
Cryptocurrency is digital money that isn’t managed by a central system like a government. Instead, it’s based on blockchain technology, with Bitcoin being the most popular one. As digital money continues to gain traction on Wall Street, more and more options become available. There are currently more than 5,000 cryptocurrencies on the market.

While you can use cryptocurrency to make purchases, most people treat it as a long-term investment. However, investing in cryptocurrency can be risky if you don’t know where to begin.

It's hard or almost impossible to pick one cryptocurrency which will perform the best in the future because as you already said there are thousands of them out there. Coinmarketcap has 10.968 cryptos listed at the moment, as others in this thread already said, you can probably forget about at least 9000 of them. What i can almost definitely say is that all those meme-coins that emerged within the last weeks and months will not have the best future because 99% of them will be dead and gone within the next few months. I think that maybe 2 or 3 meme-coins will survive of those hundreds that were launched.
I would stick to established coins like ETH or BTC if you want to make a relatively safe investment.

Holy f for France. It happens again 15 years after their 2006 Final where their last player who kicked the penalty missed it.It happened again yesterday night to one of the best players of France if not the best of them,Mbappe.Congrats to Switzerland but what a bad luck to France.

A really surprising outcome of that match. I watched the first half and until swiss got the penalty kick, there i told my friends that if he misses i am pretty sure that france gains momentum now and will win the match and that is almost what happened. Rodriguez missed the penalty and then basically directly after that france scored two goals. At that point i felt so bad for switzerland, even as a neutral viewer, that i switched off the TV. When i thought the match was over i wanted to look up the final score and i was very surprised as i saw that the score is 3-3 and the game is in overtime. Then i switched the TV back on.  Smiley
Of course it is unlucky for france to go out after a penalty shootout but i also have to say they played kinda cocky after their 3-1 lead.
2717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is recovering, what steps are you taking? on: June 29, 2021, 09:19:09 AM
Over the past weeks the market was dipping everyday that if you bought the week before, you was already at lost by the next week. This frustrating market cause may Investors to stop buying and waiting for the buttom. I just opened my binance app and noticed market is recovering, and I just wanted them know what the community at large is doing but I'll see the individual response just to pass time while we wait for full market recovery.

what are the decisions you're making now, will you wait for this new market development not to be a trap before investing again or you'll risked it and buy more coins?

I would still be careful as we don't know yet if the market really starts recovering or if we are just experiencing a few days of rising prices before it the trend goes downward again. I hope that Ethereum can stay above 2000$ now for a while and then starts climbing again towards 2500$ and higher but i am rally not sure if that happens. It can also go down towards 1500$.
As to what steps i am taking now...none to be honest...i hodled through the rough last 8 weeks or so and saw my portfolio, which consists mostly of small cap altcoins, shrink down to 1/10th of its ATH value from back in April. So now that i am back at 1/8th of that value i will keep waiting of course.

Quelle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BE-XJqQS0A

Smiley
2719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 27, 2021, 08:03:59 PM
I think this race is already over from now because Max will dominate it from start to finish and I'm also counting on Perez to get on 2nd or 3rd place in order to increase the championship points for the team.

Mercedes are under big pressure now and I'm sure that at some point they will even the car with Rebull's but it might be too late to catch them regarding points and to be honest, Max really deserves a championship after all this years.

You were right and Verstappen really managed to achieve a victory that never seemed to be in real danger. In the end he was more than 35 seconds in front of Hamilton. I did not expect that Red Bull is really able to be so dominant this weekend. I don't know i am probably still mentally damaged from the last 5 seasons or so where mercedes dominated the other teams as they wanted and won races without even going anywhere close to their limits.Whenever Red Bull is dominating the Free Practices i still think "Yeah that's nice and all but in the Qualifying mercedes will activate some extra engine power and will still be 0.5s quicker per round than Red Bull", but in the last few races that did not happen.
2720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My opinion on Ethereum 2.0 on: June 27, 2021, 07:34:42 PM
Hi guys,

Some days ago, I listened a podcast on ETH 2.0. Premised that I know ETH 2.0 and the new system PoS, but the podcaster sayied that "The Ethereum 2.0's PoS system risks creating a staking problems. Because only those who have at least 32 ETH will be able to validate the blocks". So, I'm thinking at this phrase. Why? The PoS minimum 32 isn't high, We're talking about around 60000€ like investment. The mining of ETH is more expensive. I think that today We have almost the monopoly of mining for BTC and Ethereum. The activity of mining with PoW is expensive and there's the discussion of the sustainable energy. Another point in favor of the PoS system is the passive interest. Sure, I know that It's a variable the interest because the price can up or down faster compared a speculative asset. Another point is the GPU market. I think that the new system PoS could avoid a new speculative for the GPU and a chip shortage. The negative of PoS is (in my opinion) the freeze of the yours ETH for validate a block, but maybe staking pool could resolve this problem?

Let me know

I think that a 60000€ investment is a big pretty amount of money for a "normal" person. I think the podcaster meant that it is not good for the ETH network that you need at least 32 Ethereum to run a node this means that most normal users can't run their own nodes which means that there won't be too much ETH nodes running. As far as i know it is still the statement "the more nodes in a network the better" is still true in terms of decentralization and also stability so i can understand the opinion of the podcaster. Small Ethereum holders can still send their tokens to a staking pool to receive a share of the PoS rewards, but if everyone sends his tokens to the same pool then we have a big centralization problem.
