A photo of a direct comparison between Mercedes and Ferrari, the differences in the sidepods and the air intakes are particularly striking. The curved side box of Ferrari is also a striking difference to Mercedes. I'm looking forward to the new season, so we won't be able to say anything more until the first race, and the teams will still be holding back and poking at the tests because the differences between the vehicles and the various development approaches are different.

https://de.motorsport.com/f1/news/vergleich-formel-1-autos-2022-mercedes-w13-vs-ferrari-f1-75/8279928/

I am really surprised that those two cars look so different if you directly compare them. If you only see each car on its own, they look almost completely identical, but here it becomes pretty obvious that there are huge differences between Ferrari and Mercedes. The very slim and pointy nose of the Ferrari is really something special and pretty unique so far amongst the revealed cars. I also really like that Mercedes went back and used the silver livery again, in the end the silver arrows are a huge part of the success story and the image of Mercedes as a great car manufacturer. I hope it will be an interesting F1 season again this year.
1782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: February 19, 2022, 06:39:00 PM
With all due respect to the Rangers, it will be a pity if they go further and not Borussia. Still, Borussia is a pretty big name for the Europa League and I would like to see their confrontation with Sevilla, Napoli, Atalanta, etc. I want to see high-profile rivalries and not constant "underdog vs favorite" right up to the very final games, even if the underdogs sometimes win.

The sad truth is though that Dortmund is not really playing that well this season. They managed to score quite a lot of points in the german Bundesliga but to be honest i watched most of those games and they could have easily 2 or even 3 losses more in this season already but they were pretty lucky a few times in the league. Then in the Champions League they had a very easy group in my opinion with Ajax, Sporting and Besiktas where they should have achieved a first place in my opinion but still they did not even managed to advance into the play off stage of the Champions League and now it even looks like they are being kicked out of the Europa League too. They really need a big change in their squad in my opinion. To be a waiting place for talented players before they are joining tier 1 european clubs is just not working for Dortmund.
1783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto space is a land of possibilities on: February 19, 2022, 06:31:05 PM
Is there anything that is impossible in crypto space? I don't think there is, see if you are a newbie do not be deceived by what others are holding, everyone has their believe on every projects they hold, be a believer and stick to your plan, any coin or token can change your life, here are few examples

I agree with your statement, that there really are a lot of opportunities in the crypto space to really make a lot of money, even if you have only 50$ or so for your initial investment. To be fair though the truth is also that the chances that you are losing that 50$ completely or at least partially are way higher then that you make a x100 with it.
I also don't really like that you are listing meme-coins as examples for great investements of the past. There are dozens of other projects, that gave early investors a way better ROI then those meme-coins and they also have a way higher chance to still be relevant in a few years, while the meme-coin hype was only temporary and is going away now.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 19, 2022, 04:09:11 PM
Mainz - Leverkusen. It was an exciting game in front of the goals. A very good defence met a very good offence. Mainz started very well and had very early chances to score. But Leverkusen led twice and gave the game away in the final phase.
Mainz have as many points as Leipzig at 4th place. In the next weeks, many teams will fight for an international place. These will be exciting games.

I already thought that this would be an easy win for Leverkusen again ,after they have already won 4 games in a row before this weekend, once they were 1-0 in front against Mainz but somehow it all went completely different. I really regret, that i could not watch this game live as it was a really exciting games at least that is was the statistics say, because both teams made quite a few shots at the goal of the opponents. Leverkusen managed to get in front 2 times but Mainz was able to come back two times and even scored the winning goal pretty close to the end. A really strong mental performance of Mainz yesterday.
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still makes you rich or end of trend? on: February 19, 2022, 04:05:00 PM
Once people was crazy about meme coin. After publishing lots of article, videos Against meme coins as cautioins, and after knowing that such step would be risky but they keep invested on such coins for earn quick money. Doge was pumped after elon tweet but dump again. now it seems people are more careful than before and most of memcoins got flop. so holding meme coins still make you rich or soon it'll be end of meme trend?

The crypto space has always been and probably will always be based around hype to a high degree. No matter how good your project is and how strong the team, the fundamentals and the use-case are, if you don't manage to get awareness for your project or if you are not part of the current hype wave then you have a hard time to attract potential investors.
The thing about meme-coins is, that they are solely based around hype because they offer literally nothing else. Now the hype around meme-coins is slowly but surely dying since a few weeks and months and because there is nothing else that meme-coins can do they are also slowly dying out. I would not touch a meme-coin with a 10 meter pole.
1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 18, 2022, 08:37:39 PM
Mainz - Bayer

Today Mainz hosts Bayer, I don't know what motivation the teams have for this match. I'm not sure that Mainz will be able to compete for the European Cup zone, but Bayer will not get anything more than the Champions League zone this season. Bayer is in good shape and scores a lot of goals, I think Bayer's individual total over 2 can be considered as an option.

I think if someone told anyone of the Bayer players and officials before the season that they would reach a position in the Bundesliga that would qualify for a place in the UEFA Champions League next year then i am pretty sure that they would have all been very happy with that. Bayern Munich is by far the strongest team in the League and if no major upsets are happening then they will be the champion again this year and after Bayern the strongest teams, at least on paper, are Dortmund and Leipzig. At the moment Leverkusen is only 2 points behind Dortmund and 10 points in front of Leipzig (Leverkusen is in front against Mainz at the moment) so i would guess that they are pretty happy overall.
1787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto asset prices weaken on: February 18, 2022, 08:32:25 PM
Last Thursday, February 17, 2022, the crypto market faltered and lost 11.24 percent in 24 hours.
Until the movement of Bitcoin again experienced a bearish trend until it fell 0.19 percent in 24 hours.
Likewise, Ethereum experienced the same thing as Bitcoin, losing 0.36 percent in 24 hours.
And Dogecoin and Cardano also suffered losses, dropping 0.88 percent and 0.57 percent, respectively.

Of course this is a big loss for the crypto market today.

I also saw the recent losses of the crypto market yesterday and to be honest this time i was very surprised about that, as i did not see any news or other event yet that was the clear trigger for that downward price movement. Sadly it seems like the downward trend has not stopped yet and i just hope that we don't go too much lower from here on. Looking at my portfolio really hurts at the moment as it consists mainly of pretty new and small altcoins which always suffer the hardest during a bear market or even an unstable market. We would need a pretty long phase of stability and growth in the bigger projects and then the smaller caps could start to grow again too.
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 18, 2022, 11:17:19 AM
I see no bright future for Borussia Dortmund for the league championship this season. The point difference can seem like six points but this is misleading. Because Dortmund's performance don't even make me hopeful for them to win the title. They are too unstable. For example, their unbelievably enormous loss against Leverkusen was a big disappointment. I know that Bayern Munich do the same time sometimes too but they don't make this kind of mistakes very often. And those are chances for Dortmund to catch up with them actually. But I have no hope in that way from now on.

For me this season is pretty weird to watch. I mean Bayern is by far not performing so dominant as they have been in the last few seasons and they have already experienced quite a lot of losses for their standards so far in this season which is mainly caused by the bad defending in my opinion and normally a bad Bayern season like this would be a huge chance for the "tier 2 clubs" of the league like Dortmund or Leipzig. The thing is those two clubs are also performing pretty badly so far. I mean Dortmund even lost to Glasgow Rangers yesterday with 2-4 in their own stadium which was a complete disappointment. Maybe Leipzig can still reach the second place but they are so far behind at the moment.
1789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A painful loss on: February 18, 2022, 11:12:19 AM
I lost 430$ to a metaverse scam project yesterday, the project looks a lot like a professional job to me, everything was so detailed that you can't easily smell any rug pull, here is the project's website https://markmeta.finance/ but unfortunately it's a scam project, you can buy but you can't sell so here are what I find out

1. The price of this token kept surging and surging, there was no retrace or whatsoever which to me is a red flag, the whole chart was a straight line aiming for the moon.

2. Telegram channel was restricted, no one can make comments or send messages, another red flag that I don't get suspicious over

It's too late already but hope someone learn one or two lessons from this

I am sorry to hear that you have been victim of a scam Op. I have never heard about this project before and i have not really looked into it if it really is a scam or if you did somethign wrong but it definitely sounds like you have been ripped of here and i have to say that 430$ is a serious amount of money even if you are from a first world country. I already said this before but i really think that the whole metaverse hype is slowly but surely reaching it's height or is maybe even beyond that and this is the reason why we see so many new metaverse projects out there at the moment. Of course only a handful of those 100's that are launching now will be successful in the end, so be careful.
1790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: February 17, 2022, 02:45:07 PM
Liverpool had a great day as they obtained a huge advantage by winning 2-0. But it was not easy for them. Inter did their best and had critical goal chances too. They scored also but it was disallowed due to offside. If Dzeko was a little behind, they would have been 1-0 ahead. And Liverpool were the scoring side finally in the 75th minute. And they scored again in only eight minutes before Inter even reacted to it. We can already consider this draw as finished. Because I see no chance for Inter in Anfield to perform a miracle.

That really was a great game to watch yesterday and in the end i think that Liverpool was not the better team yesterday but simply the more lucky one as for me both teams were completely at the same level yesterday and a 2-0 win for Inter was just as possible as the 2-0 win for Liverpool or a draw. As you already said Inter could have easily been the first team to score as Dzeko was only a little bit offside and after that Calanoglu hit the post with his shot. With the result as it happened yesterday though i think it is pretty safe to say that the chance for Liverpool to advance into the next round are at least 90% now. Inter needs a an early goal in the next game in order to have a chance.
1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING: JPMorgan Is the First Bank Into the Metaverse. on: February 17, 2022, 02:40:38 PM
"JPMorgan Is the First Bank Into the Metaverse, Looks at Business Opportunities"

JPMorgan, the largest bank in the U.S., said it has become the first lender to arrive in the metaverse, having opened a lounge in Decentraland, a virtual world based on blockchain technology.

That does not surprise me to much to be honest, because in the end the risk for big companies like JPMorgan for joining the metaverse or close to 0 in my opinion. I am not that familiar how expensive the land plots in decentraland are at the moment but i would guess you will get a pretty decent one for a few thousand dollars at max and let's be real here that is absolutely nothing for a huge bank like JPMorgan that is dealing with billions of dollars usually. If it works out for them they can aquire a whole new group of potential customers for their banking producs in the metaverse that maybe would have never been reachable in the traditional way.
1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: February 17, 2022, 10:57:44 AM
Bayern Munich and Salzburg basically have something in common about dominating their respective leagues, but even though they have such similarities it is clear they have different qualities. Having different qualities in many factors it can still give Salzburg a good result at home by being able to draw a big team like Bayern Munich at least it's a great achievement for them too. There is still the 2nd Leg to be played at the Allianz Arena, I think it will be a match where Salzburg can't do much to stop Bayern Munich, or maybe Salzburg can still hold Bayern Munich interesting to watch.

To be honest Bayern is really lucky that they have drawn one of the easiest opponents for this play-off stage because they are just not in a good shape at the moment, especially in the defense. On two games in a row now Bayern had massive problems to defend against Teams that are usually at least one or two classes below the performance of Bayern but still Bochum last weekend and Salzburg yesterday managed to create a few really good chances against Bayern. I think it was just a mistake to let Boateng and Alaba both leave the club at the same time. Süle will be gone to after this season, so Bayern really needs 1 or 2 new high class defenders.
1793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lowest withdrawal fee for ETH? on: February 17, 2022, 10:53:57 AM
I have USDT worth $100 in myetherwallet but i don't have enought ETH for gas and now the gas is costing approx between $5 to $15 as it's dynamic but if i have to transfer the ETH from my CEX wallet it's costing me around $10 to $16, please suggest me a way to shill out less as I am trying to find a way to bypass this hefty withdrawal fee applies for ETH in CEX and I have alredy tried exchanges like shapeshift, changelly but they minimum order quantity is more.if i pay gas fee at myetherwallet and withdrawal from in CEX to transfer the ETH to MEW for withdrawal of ETH and gas fee then i will end up losing almost 30%-40% of amount which I am trying to withdraw. Looking for some reasonable suggestions to avoid hefty fees.

If you wanna sent it from your MEW to a CEX then there is no option or trick that let's you avoid paying the transaction fees on the ETH network. The only thing that you can do is to wait until the gas price goes down again a little. As i am writing this replay the gas prices is at around 30-35 gwei which means a transfer of USDT would cost you around 6$ worth of ETH at the moment, i mean this is still a pretty high fee in comparison to the value of the transaction but it is definitely better then 15$. Usually the time period around 10 am to 12 UTC is a pretty good one to make transactions on the ETH chain because the US are still sleeping at that time.
1794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesn't have a bright future anymore on: February 16, 2022, 07:28:39 PM
All the gains with btc were made already if we are looking for 4 years from now is only 2-3x .
ETH I could see 5X in the next 4 years it has lower marketcap and better roi.
I wouldn't bet on metaverse coin yet because all the project look superb. look at sandbox, decentraland is not look like they have bright future too.

Well it's pretty basic math that there is not much room anymore for BTC to do another x5 or even a x10 from here on as the early investors already made a x1000 or even way more. The same is also true for ETH though maybe not to the same extent but still the early investors of ETH also already made a x1000. What is also a factor that speaks for BTC is the fact that for most people that are not so much into crypto it is still true that cryptocurrencies = bitcoin because that is the only crypto project that they know so if such people enter the crypto space they are mostly investing into Bitcoin first and maybe later they invest into other projects too.
1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥶 Winter Beijin 2022 🥶 Discussion and bet thread 🥶 Winter Game 🥶 on: February 16, 2022, 02:15:54 PM
I am very curious how this will continue with the doping scandal with the Russian. A lot of problems could arise from that. If she wins gold but is tested positive, she may hand in her medal and the number 2 will receive the gold medals. But things like that should actually be checked much faster, right? Especially since the rumors are already there. With current technology it should be so tested.

I am also curious what happens next in this case. As far as i know she is allowed to start in the other competitions now. I also have to say, that even though there seems to be a doping issue with this russian athlete we should differentiate between this case and "real" doping. As far as i know she "only" took a medicine against an tonsillitis that was not allowed which i guess was not in order to improve her performance or something but by mistake. I mean i know that this is still an offence against the doping rules but it is certainly not the same as if she would have taken steroids or testosterone or stuff like that in order to increase her muscles.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: February 16, 2022, 10:03:24 AM
PSG 1 - 0 Real Madrid

I imagined that real madrid would lose, they are not doing well this season, they have been losing points against small teams in the league, PSG is also another inconsistent team so it was predictable that in this game there would not be many goals, but I think that real madrid can still win in the next game

Sporting 0 -  5 Manchester City

there was no surprise in this game, I predicted that City would score a lot of goals and that's what happened

I watched the game of PSG and Real Madrid and i have to say it was a pretty entertaining match to watch, especially in the second half. Before the match started i was not sure about the performance that Paris might show in this match and therefore i also did not place a bet here, but it kinda came the way that i was assuming. The big stars of the Paris offense were extremely motivated for this match and really showed what they are capable of if they are really giving 100%. In the first half Paris only had 1 or 2 big chances to score but then in the second half they had like 4 or 5 chances more so in the end the victory of PSG was well deserved.
1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Shiba Inu community is enraged by Microsoft's recent tweet on: February 16, 2022, 10:00:27 AM
Microsoft's official Twitter account sent a message that has fueled frantic speculations about Shiba Inu (SHIB) integration. On its business communication platform Teams, the tweet in question makes a jest about two sorts of dogs that attend meetings. "Teams calls are 10x better when dogs are involved," the Teams Twitter account emphasized in a follow-up tweet.
The bulk of people think the tweets are about cute dog-themed coins. They have, as predicted, revved up the Shiba Inu rumor mill. Microsoft has been inundated with responses from the SHIBArmy, with some speculating on a potential strategic relationship with the 46-year-old computer powerhouse.

     Related Tweet: https://twitter.com/Microsoft/status/1491839886726475779

What do you think guys? Lots of people tweeted about this topic. Is it an opportunity to go up for SHIB?

Wow those meme-coin (or sh*it-coin) hodlers really seem to be desperate now. Just because a big company makes a tweet, that a video calls are more fun when their pets are also in the same room or something they assume that they somehow relate to Dogecoin or Shiba-Inu? That is just crazy and i am 100% sure, that this tweet had nothing to do with cryptos or meme-coins at all. It was just a tweet about pets, nothing more. To assume now that this could be a sing of an upcoming partnership of Microsoft and Shiba-Inu is just absolutely ridiculous and could not be further from the truth. I don't want to hate on meme-coins or their supporters but this is just getting more and more ridiculous.
1798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 15, 2022, 03:54:55 PM
Lol.  I mean really...  What did everybody really expect?  I had no doubt Hamilton will be back and finish off his lucrative contract at Mercedes before calling it quits.  All the retirement talk was all for good publicity I guess.  Keeps everybody talking.

I think we all expected him to come back, yes. I don't think it's about finishing off a lucrative contract though, he surely has far more money than he'll ever need. I imagine he wants to come back because he wants to fight for the championship again, and get that 8th title.
He's only on 7.5 at the moment.  Tongue

And I don't think the retirement talk was for publicity, I think it was an attempt to affect the FIA investigation of what to do after the Abu Dhabi debacle, a way to exert power and to prevent the FIA from trying to brush it all aside and not make changes, a way to say 'you need to make some serious changes to how you're running this thing, or your star attraction leaves'.

I read some news the other day that Mercedes and Hamilton are demanding that Masi must be replaced and maybe Hamilton was kinda playing with the rumors that he might not come back to the formula 1 in order to increase the chances to have the decision regarding Masi be made in his and Mercedes way. I also saw an interview with Vettel during the presentation of his new 2022 car and there he said that he wants Masi to stay. I also think that what happened back in Abu Dhabi it is not really Masis fault alone. The FIA needs to introduce clear rules that don't leave any room for misinterpretations and personal preferences.
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum whales bullish on Shiba Inu price on: February 15, 2022, 03:50:08 PM
"Ethereum whales buy $20 million in Shiba Inu, anticipating a bullish breakout"

Ethereum holders have accumulated $20 million worth of Shiba Inu through the recent bloodbath. Analysts believe Shiba Inu could recover from its price drop and rally towards its target of $0.000035.

This sounds more like a advertisement or a pushed news from the Shiba Inu team or the Shiba Inu community then a neutral news from a neutral website. I mean there is nothing wrong with that as a lot of projects are doing this kind of stuff. I especially like those weird comparison charts where their own projects always fulfill every category while the other projects of course are at least missing one of those or in most cases even more than one. Of course the categories are picked by the team of the project itself so that the own project does look good, even though it may be lacking on far more important factors that are not shown in the table.
To be honest, i think the days of the meme-coin hype are over and i am pretty happy about that.

Last match Bayern Munich lost Against Vfl bochum. Bochum Showed Their improving and their performance. Bayern Munich played unfortunately bad.Bayern Munic strong team in Bundesliga still now. I hope they will be back in match next match.Because Bayern Munich have Strong jone and they have good team combination. Bundesliga seems to be more interesting right now.
The effective game played by Bochum was one of the key factors in their victory over Bayern Munich. Yes, even though Bayern Munich could control the match but they were not able to play effectively as shown by their opponents.
The first half was a nightmare for Munich, had taken the lead through Lewandowski's goal, they were rewarded with 4 goals. Antwi-Adjej, Locadia, Gamboa, Holtman, scored goals from Bochum. While 2 goals from Munich scored Lewandowski.

I am always saying that Bayern should be ahead like 12 points before Dortmund at the moment and not "only" 6 points because Bayern had some really unlucky losses against Frankfurt and Augsburg were Bayern was completely dominant and had dozens of good chances to score but somehow they did not make a goal whereas Frankfurt and Augsburg managed to score pretty much out of nowhere and therefore Bayern managed very unlucky and undeserved losses there.
This time against Bochum it's a little bit different in my opinion. Yes of course Bayern as a little bit more dominant again as they always are and 2 out of the 4 goals of Bochum were absolutely gorgeous and extraordinary, but this loss for Bayern was not completely unlucky, they were just to shaky in the defense.
