SP-30 Home Edition?  So... 50% of the hash rate of the SP-30 is 2.7TH/s running on a single PSU?  Quiet?  Wow... effectively double the hash power of the SP-10 that I don't need to have a personal data center to run.  Um... yes please!

Actually 3 TH/s

Caveat: September delivery

Time for a new Group Buy!

How do you configure a pool just to be a backup pool? Just add another pool? No settings on that either, so if it does jump to the second pool, will it ever try to re-connect to the first pool again in a certain amount of time?

Yes just add another pool. No other setting. It will try to mine from the first pool downwards and yes it will try to re-connect to the first pool, but I don't know the time.

Get miners from my sig and 1% of the hashrate that you buy will be hashing for charities.

Where do you plan on hosting your miner? If at home be wary of the SP10.

I'm currently running 4 S1's at my appt.  Ya I get nervious dealing with anything that draws more than a kilowatt.  Still can be handled by one outlet but ya.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=622998.0 This is a thread for colocation for your miner. It's in the early stages, but maybe you can find a place to host your miner.

No.

How hard would it be for the lazy admin Thermos Theymos to create a "Search this thread only" feature?
By the way, the search facility only looks at the section and any child threads from where you start your search. So if you're currently looking at this Spondoolies thread, it will only search this thread.

That was an intended mistake, but thank you very much for the info. That's very nice. Search 2.0!

How hard would it be for the lazy admin Thermos to create a "Search this thread only" feature? Also it amazes me that people are so careful about the bank thing even if SP-Tech is already known as a trust able company, but people had no problem in sending money to BFL who is run by a convicted felon for mail scamming and after failing so many times.

Deal with escrow.

Are you in Jim?

I can increase the bet to 0.5BTC if you want too.

No need for escrow.

And no I don't have that much to gamble.

Deal if you agree to 1+w/gh = you win. Less than that and I win.

tzortz this is a bad bet for you and you shouldn't take it imo. You should go for min 0.9W/GH at least since jimm can't decide which one is better. If these miners will have 0.9X W/GH you will lose the bet even if it will be very far away from the announced 0.75W/GH from the OP. For example a 0.975W/GH would be 30% higher than 0.75W/GH and you will lose the bet and customers will lose the power consumption race.

Not sure what dump selling but I don't know what you're on about performance. 0.7w/gh at the wall is not last years performance.
We already know that AM chips are capable of at least 1w/gh(see hashratio/btcgarden).

1W/GH and above is last year's performance Smiley
2715  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announce. New ASIC manufacturer on: May 27, 2014, 08:35:32 PM
After more thinking I'm starting to believe that the numbers are BS. They have regular AM gen 3 chips. The RockMiner R-BOX is the only live demo of AM gen3 chips and they have 1.1W/GH.  How come that there is no single proof, but lots of statements?

Well, for starters we know that Friedcat came in here and personally vouched that OP purchased AM chips.

That's what I was saying.I don't think that AM gen3 chips can't get those stats. RockMiner achieved 0.55-0.68W/GH. I don't think they can get to 0.7W/GH on the whole miner.

I remember a few days ago your comments about how below $2/gh is impossible especially for AM.

How many times will AM have to blow your mind before you become a fan?

Dump selling miners with last year performance isn't blowing my mind yet.

How are you enjoying your today's dividends?

So their competition managed to hit 0.55-0.68W/GH and you don't see how these guys can hit 0.7W/GH?  I don't follow you.  If these guys can get 0.55W/GH at the chip level and have a total DC/DC efficiency of ~80%, that's 0.66W/GH.

Add AC/DC loss for another 10%. Guess we will see soon enough (July)

I don't think we will see any proof of this product yet. Have taken time to measure sound, power consumption, but not to take a picture of miner?

I should be seeing a unit near the end of next week or the start of the next. Everything will get tested of course!

2. Power supply 1600W included. Power consumption about 0,75 Watt per Gh
If accurate, this is by far the most efficient miner we've seen made with the gen3 chips.

It's great they have managed improve the performance - this device beats Spoondoolies' performance (approx. 0.85-0.95 J/GH). Let's hope they can deliver on spec...

Edit: What's that website what has a comparison of all them miners?

Deliver late July? Spondoolies will have SP30 then. The SP10 are mining since March. And SP10 can achieve 0.7W/GH too, nothing new.
