2701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PreANN] LIRA [SYP] X11 CPU/GPU MINING ▶DOUBLE BOUNTIES TODAY ONLY◀ on: July 24, 2017, 01:31:14 PM
it say in the first page that the new wallet will be released the 20 of this month, but i see no trace of it, the dev disappeared? what's going on, my wallet still has the same issue about loading the blkindex.dat, i need to clean my roaming folder each time, very annoying, please fix this crap
2702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: July 24, 2017, 01:28:53 PM
Where is airdrop rules?

It's not actual airdrop. If you hold bitcoin on 1st august you will get equal amount of bitcoin cash if you hold your private keys.

but how can i transfer my btc cash to sell on exchange without transferring also my real btc? because if i put both wallet in two different client, i woudl get bitcoin and bitcoin cash right? same amount, but then if you do a transaction, the coins vanish from both party, so you also move your original bitcoin
2703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Asic Resistant mineable altcoin? on: July 24, 2017, 01:23:38 PM
i don't think there is a truly asic resistant, all the algo can if developers want be minable with asic, it's a matter of if it's worth it or not, for small coin it's not worth it for big coins yes they develop asic, all the gpu coin now are asic resistant for the moment, but by the time they become big they become asic territory
2704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we recover Ether sent to a wrong address? on: July 24, 2017, 01:20:12 PM
no you can't recover them anymore and i think you got a malware that change the address there are some type of malware that do this, so see if your desktop is clean with an antivirus first, if yes do a format of your windows, could be that you an infected machine
2705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High exchanges fee - How to diversify portfolio without paying a lot of fees ? on: July 24, 2017, 01:16:15 PM
If I want to move for example my bitcoins of 0.03639527 BTC (100$) from the exchange to my wallet in will pay a fixed fee.
Kraken - Bitcoin (XBT) - ฿0.001 ($2.75) https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/201893608-What-are-the-withdrawal-fees-
Bittrex - Bitcoin (XBT) - ฿0.001 ($2.75)
BitStamp - Bitcoin (XBT) -Free of charge!!! - https://www.bitstamp.net/fee_schedule/
How is possible that BitStamp transactions are free if any coin has a network transfer fee? And why are Kraken and Bittrex so expensive if you make small transactions the fee charge is very high. I'm talking here abount bitcoin but for others altcoins the fee is high too. Let's say I deposit 100$ on Kraken. And if I buy 10 different coins for 10$ each and I want to transfer them to a wallet (or more wallets for different coins) I will have to pay about 10$ of fees. Is my thinking right? So the best option is not to transfer to wallets if you don't have a big enough amount because the fees are fixed or use only Bitstamp. Or buy just IOTA that has no fees. Smiley

it's because of the block limit, there is a delay in transaction so people pay more to get their transaction confirmed early, if everyone do this the fee price increase, just wait until segwit is activate so the fee will be reduced, because the block size will increase, everybody win but not the miners lol
2706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: July 24, 2017, 01:14:29 PM
I am also mining this coin but I don't know why so many people got into this. Only because it is not premined ? I checked the website there is no information available no whitepaper etc.. Everbody is jumping to mine this.

I don't know if we will have anything in hand.

because has a new algo, and the dev seems active, and there is a cool trusted guy that pay for getting this listed, a strong community is behind this i like it, but i may agree that it doesn't offer many new features, for example signatum with that fingerprint logo, could integrate some form of fingerprint security
2707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Rising Alt Coins: your opinion? on: July 24, 2017, 01:11:19 PM
blocknet is very good it's a decentralized platform for exachaning your altcoin to bitcoin or some other alt, and you can do this and everything in the client no need to use exchange anymore and pay additional fee, i really like this project, it's still too early but their are adding other coins
2708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: July 24, 2017, 01:08:58 PM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.

what about introducing a new subject in school called "cryptocurrency, or Btcoin and crypto" or something, to educate people about this new technology that is conquer the world? i think this is a good solution, for the nex generations, so they will learn how this work, i think this can be integrated under programming
2709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The "I cannot afford 1 BTC"-Problem on: July 24, 2017, 01:06:50 PM
Hi everyone,

I have a question concerning the current high value of a BTC. I talk a lot with friends who don't know much about BTC and try to convince them to buy some too.

When I tell them about it, the same question which always comes up is:

"But since it is so expensive (2000-3000$), how can I afford 1 BTC?"

I always tell them that it is possible to buy 0.5 BTC or even 0.001 BTC. But I think this is a major problem which gets worse with the price rising even higher.

So here is my question:

Are there any plans on changing BTC to make it "look more affordable"? Perhaps introduce something like mBTC (worth 0.001 BTC / 1 BTC = 1000 mBTC) so that people have a better feeling buying something, which is not a number behind a zero (e.g. 0.025).

I don't want it to become something like a "discount looking currency". But it's a psychological problem, that people don't like to buy only a part of something or (as in this case) often don't know that they can buy less than 1 BTC.

To say "Well, the people who don't know better shouldn't buy anyway" seems to be the wrong approach on the way to mass adaption.

there is no solution, it's about the money they can spend, if they cna spend $1000 what matter if bitcoin is at $10k or $1000, they will not buy more anyway, they just need to get rid of this mental thing and buy what they can buy, this is a non-issue tell that to your friend
2710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💦[RAIN]💦X11💦CPU/GPU💦PoW OVER!💦20,000,000 COINS BURNED!💦condensate.co💦 on: July 24, 2017, 01:04:34 PM
Devs said in slack they're working on roadmap and teased the idea of masternodes when a couple people brought it up. Might be in roadmap

That's interesting as RAIN doesn't really need masternodes in my opinion as I think we actually earn more from these random stakes then a masternode would. I'm happy to hear that the dev is working on the roadmap but not sure about RAIN having masternodes at this stage as they seem to be used just for hype and to pump up the coins price which as people can see we didn't need that to get the price to where it currently is as people see the value in RAIn and it's random staking feature.

but without that it's just a normal coin, at least give this coin something else, otherwise people will lose motivation in the end, and will die one day, you need to build some services if you don't want to add other features, or what about anonimity? or a new features?
2711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia prepares to legalize ICOs on: July 23, 2017, 02:09:35 PM
Russian lawmakers are working on amendments to the civil law aimed at legalizing ICOs, according to Vedomosti, one of Russia’s largest newspapers. Discussion of the amendments has already begun by an interdepartmental working group under the State Duma, which has been assessing the risks of cryptocurrency use in the nation.

i think they are like this, "if you can't beat it join it", because they can't do nothing so it's betetr to legalize it, maybe they could earn some on taxes by also regulating ico, they are planning to do that after legalization
2712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: can i still mine bitcoin with my graphics card ? on: July 23, 2017, 01:19:09 PM
you can, but I doubt you'll get anything with your mining

thanks , but what happens when btc hit 10k/20k .
so even if i mine 1 bitcoin in in a year., it will be worth more in future, but i get your point, thanks

lol man you can't mine bitcoin with that relic thing, at best you can mine low diff altcoin, but even so you are out of the game, your gpu is too old, instead buy a 1060 or 1050 if you don't have enough money and use that for mining
2713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Using 3 gpus with 3 slots on: July 23, 2017, 01:18:04 PM
Hello,

I have z97 gaming 7 mobo and it has 3 slots. Currently I am using 2 of them with 2 gpus with the middle slot is empty.
I am thinking of adding the third one but if i add it the gpus will be so close to each other . Will it be a big problem for temperature ? What is your idea about it ?

Thanks

better to no add it there without a risers, because having 3 gpu so close will make the one in the middle to catch fire, because with current summer will go to 80° from the time you start the rig, buy a risers and the one in the middle rise it a bit from the other
2714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Goodbye Pinidea and Baikal on: July 23, 2017, 01:16:42 PM
These two shithead companies that have tried to monopolize the supply of Dash are about to go out of business. Couldn't have happened to more deserving pricks.

https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020170718203947438V537cuy7067F

d3 from bitmain is not the fastest miner, so why you ar elinked that? innosinol is making a even better miner 2x faster than the d3 hashminer, baikal was just a small company can not compete with bitmain which control the bitcoin mining
2715  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mining Contract Question? on: July 23, 2017, 01:15:12 PM
Hello everyone,

I have a question.  I am looking at a few 24 hour mining contracts.  What I was wondering is this, how much would a 2.1 TH/s miner and 4.5 TH/s miner mine in 1 24 hours period?.  It would be connected to the antpool mining pool.

If anyone could give me an est.,  that would be great Smiley

those speed as way too low man, they are 1/4 of an antminer s9 or 1/3.5, so your earning is below 0.001 in 24 hours, and if you add maintenance cost you will earn even less, don't go with cloud they are a bad investment buy your antminer  s9 instead
2716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is with all these BIPs. Do most people on here know what it means? on: July 23, 2017, 01:13:43 PM
I keeps seeing BIP148, BIP91, BIP1, BIP... BIP BIP BIP.

What is with all these BIPs and what do they mean? Is the number after it just an arbitrary number or is there a bigger meaning?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm a noob and sometimes I get these mixed up with block sizes and all the hard forks, soft forks, hard spoons, and soft spoons. Ahhhhhh!

(okay, I was kidding about the spoons.  Wink)

those are all proposal, or soft fork some are hard fork, if i'm right, bip141 is the original segwit, bip148 is a UASF, bip91 is another way to have segwit, the hard fork can happen only if they add 2mb block limit
2717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: July 22, 2017, 01:35:46 PM
never supported it but only because i missed the ico and the initial big pump, damn, i didn't invest in the ico but it was a very easy money i just was afraid of another scam at that time, and i would not buy now, but i don't have nothing against ETH as a project, it look solid will be good for the future i think
2718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Walls on zero value alt coins on: July 22, 2017, 01:32:47 PM
i think on yoshit everything is rigged, there are plenty of bot that fake buy and sell order, and build a fake volume, all those coins are way died, if you see they are buying 1 unit each time, which tell you exactly why it's fake, avoid yobit, take a look at better exchange like cryptopia
2719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which alt to invest 1000usd to get 100 000usd in a few years? on: July 22, 2017, 01:30:40 PM
something that can go 100x and be stable is very hard to get, with cheap coin you can have very easy a 100x increase but it won't be stable for years, i think you need to look at solid project like for example HLM, could go 100x in few months after launch i think, or some new coin, like veltor that started very low and reached 100k, maybe signatum the new algo coin?
2720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: July 22, 2017, 01:29:11 PM
Hi.
I would like to buy a total of 5 D3.
If there is someone who wants to sell please contact me
Tel. +48883109779
Mail: pawlikowskiego@gpucomputer.pl
