1721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: determine a good project on: September 30, 2022, 09:36:30 PM
I completely agree with you, the bear market shows which projects will survive and which will disappear. It requires a strong team, a fundamental idea, and a close-knit community that believes in the project.
Now we are in a deep bear market, and I have chosen the fundamental Amulet Protocol project for myself.
It is a decentralized risk protection protocol for the Rust-based ecosystem initially deployed on Solana.
I am convinced that Amulet Protocol has a future because you cannot build a long-lasting profitable project without risk insurance.

Your project is a decentralized hedging protocol this idea sounds great but now what will you do to assure us that your project will be risk free. I checked the website of the project, it is quite prominent when there are a lot of VCs investing in. But that's still not enough to say that this is a potential project so we need to observe the project for a while before making a decision. This project also hasn't released the token yet.
if there are a lot of VCs that support it, I think it's good enough to start the project. that means there is a communication effort with other projects to market their new project. this is important I think. but indeed it is not enough for a new project to get investors to run the project.
After all, that preparation is done, it is important to see their market response. is it good to be developed or still small enthusiasts? this will certainly affect their long-term marketing strategy.

i also briefly checked the project, indeed it is supported by many VCs, prominent names such as Solana venture, and Defiance capital...the project is in the mainnet process, it can be seen that this is a project worth paying attention to but we need to do our own research, can't invest right away just because there are many VCs to invest

VCs are also investors like us and they even have the advantage of buying tokens much cheaper than us, so there is no guarantee that this project will turn a profit for us. currently the project has not set a token sale date, maybe they will not launch this bear season they are still focusing on development
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Terra still pumping !?! on: September 30, 2022, 09:17:39 PM
in the last few days i have only seen Lunc pumped, when binance announced support to burn Lunc tokens, and as far as i know Lunc is not under the control of DK nor his team. so his recent news won't affect it, the most influential person on it right now is none other than finance

in my prediction, binance will not give up on Lunc, they are trying to support this token as well as Lunc investors. lunc's future is uncertain, but with the support of binance, things may be going in a different direction
1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 30, 2022, 07:58:10 PM
The Barcelona squad is more tightened and motivated than the mallorca team as there have not lost any of their games this season and it is easy to predict what the outcome of today's match will be. Many sports bookers gave Barcelona, very small odds because they know this is a sure game for Barcelona to win easily.
There is no doubt that Barcelona is a team that has a big chance in this match. Mallorca is not a team that Barcelona can compare to at the moment. Victory will make them continue to stick closely to Real Madrid at the top of the standings. But there is a problem for them because they lost some key players. Maybe this match will not be too big of a problem for them. But the next match will be more pronounced against Inter Milan in the Champions League group stage
That is definitely a bit of a pickle to be in if you can't decide between Barcelona and Mallorca. Of course, everyone knows that Barcelona is the better team and of course everyone believes they should wager on Barcelona for this game.

But, there are moments in betting where you see odds so terrible for a team that it doesn't even worth betting into, or even better to invest into a draw or the other team, just because the odds are so grandiose for those teams. That’s when you are not sure what to do, do you end up betting on the possible winners and get something very little in return? Or do you risk your money and wager something else and lose probably but win a huge amount if you are ever right?

Honestly, there is no way Barcelona is going to lose this match against Mallorca. It is true that Barcelona is facing some problems with the team. And Barcelona might not be able to play with the best or most powerful squad that they have.

But I don't think that is going to matter too much because Barcelona is still going to be more powerful than Mallorca. It is true that sometimes strange things can happen and the outcome can be a little different. But I don't think it is going to be that kind of a match. After all, Barcelona has a lot at stake this season.
1724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin should I invest in other than bitcoin? on: September 30, 2022, 03:31:03 PM
ADA, BNB, ETH, AVAX and Matic are the ones I am interested in investing in altcoins.
when it comes to Bitcoin then I prefer to call it not more profitable but I prefer to say investing in bitcoin is safer. But if you want to invest in altcoins then my list above is the one I entered. some of the coins above have experienced a rapid increase. either because of the event or because of the hype. but I suggest it is better to enter into altcoins whose prices are still low and have not experienced a high increase. so there is still hope for an increase in the future.

i don't understand what you mean, you have listed 4 potential altcoins in the market and here are your choices. while you say OP should invest in low price altcoins and have not experienced a high increase, you are referring to low cap coins. why don't you advise him to invest in the 4 altcoins you mentioned, it's a lot safer than investing in new altcoins

advice for newbies is not to mention new altcoins because they are still not knowledgeable enough to invest in them, too high risk, low cap coins will make OP lose more than profit

Quote
but I suggest it is better to enter into altcoins whose prices are still low and have not experienced a high increase. so there is still hope for an increase in the future.
1725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 29, 2022, 11:50:20 AM
I still wonder why the much delay
Thomas Tuchel is jobless also Pochetino the former spurs coach.
Conte is so passionate about winning the premier league again.
But was not a bad player
What delay do you mean? If you mean Juventus is rather slow in signing a new coach, it must be caused by some considerations. Signing a new coach isn't as easy as you think, there should be a strong reason to do that. I'm sure Juventus has contacted all the potential coaches to replace Allegri, but they may have a little obstacle. It can be about the personal agreement, may be related to salary or other things. So, just be patient to wait for good news from Juventus management.

I always believe that it is better to wait and make the right choice rather than to rush into something and then regret it later on. Juventus is making the right choice by waiting until the right time to make the right decision, in my opinion. After all, Juventus are not going to appoint new coaches every day right? It will also be necessary for them to think about Dominique as well. I think we all need to remember that if the new management doesn't work out, the club will have to pay the total amount of the contract to sack the coach. So, it's better to make a voice decision by waiting and not rushing into things.
1726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly was the Ethereum Merge? on: September 29, 2022, 11:37:58 AM
For this simple question, DYOR Do Your Own Research. It is a must step to do in crypto.

The Merge is a start of Etherereum Proof of Stake by changing from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake. That will result in more upgrades later to solve scaling issue and transaction fee issue.

It is expected to help transaction fee becomes cheaper and more feasible for everyone.

honestly, this is common knowledge, it's not too hard to find them in today's media, OP should do his own research to understand and grasp it better than getting a brief explanation here

besides switching to POS brings benefits like deflation, being environmentally friendly, offering future scalability, there are also inadequacies that people doubt about eth, like the move to proof of stake will make eth more centralized and currently most of the eth is believed to be in the hands of 2 sharks on coinbase and lido. since the merger has just ended, nothing can be confirmed yet, we should also observe carefully
1727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: September 29, 2022, 11:25:15 AM
Without any bias mind ETH is more better to hold than BNB.
BNB is more better in aspect of transaction it is more cheaper and smarter and faster to use in terms of transaction, Eth is a bit sucking most at times with their transaction fees. It has partially affected me whereby any project that is being built on ETH i don't find pleasing to run their campaign.
well, if it weren't for fees, people would definitely not hesitate to choose ethereum over BNB. it's just that, because of the consideration of a fairly high fee, people are still considering BNB. however, apart from that, I also prefer ethereum over BNB because I firmly believe that the price of ethereum can rise higher than BNB. other than that, given the current state of doubt, I think people will prefer ethereum over BNB. Well, but if you can choose both, you should choose both. both are very good coins at the moment.

eth is more trusted because it has been around long before bnb and has the support of the majority of the community, it's really hard to compare who is better with these 2 top coins. one side has a good history of development and has an extremely strong community, the other side is supported by a leading exchange plus bnb currently has the advantage of cheap transaction fees and fast speed

small projects will often choose bnb as the development site to save costs, but big, top projects still choose eth as the place to develop in a certain way, eth is still much safer and decentralized than bnb if comparing the number of nodes of the two
1728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) Price Prediction. Will LUNC price hit $0.001 in 2022? on: September 29, 2022, 11:13:37 AM
But what about Do Kwon who is now under arrest, whether we can trust back what they hold. A bit of Do Kwon's background isn't very good either. We can trust LUNC but their team gives enough bad impression of what they have done, will we be able to believe it after all that happened.

as far as i know, Lunc is no longer under the control of dokwon and the old development team so i don't think it will affect Lunc's future too much. besides, recently, binance has also officially announced that they will support the cost of burning Lunc to support the project as well as support those who still believe in Lunc, this has received the warm support of many people. this is also the reason why yesterday's lunch increased by more than 40%

dokwon has not been caught, he is an international wanted so it is only a matter of time before the authorities find him, he is a big scammer in the history of the cryptocurrency market
1729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 28, 2022, 08:33:29 PM
It is unlikely that Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Italy in the near future. there is a possibility that Bayern Munich might be interested in approaching him in the future, and this would be the best thing for him. my opinion is that his going to Bayern Munich is obviously a good move for both parties in the long run. Bayern Munich is prepared to pay him a reasonable wage, but the question is how much are they prepared to pay him?
Honestly, i think he will have to take a pay cut as a result of this. to let him go, Manchester United will also be looking for a good amount of money in order to do so. however, on the other hand, Manchester United also does not want him on the team at the moment, so it is likely that they will be ready to let him go for a lower price as soon as they are ready to let him go.
"In the future" is something that is quite tough when we are talking about Ronaldo. I mean he is already old enough, getting him next season for example would be even older player, and yes he is still decent enough but I would prefer if they got someone younger. I get that they lost their chances for Haaland, but there are other strikes in the world that they could get and take advantage of their young age.

With Ronaldo that is maybe 1-2 season covering the issue, maybe not even that much and he would be straight up bad for them because even if it's Ronaldo we are talking about, even he can't beat father time and he will eventually get worse.

We all know about the characteristics of Cristiano Ronaldo. He is not going to retire anytime soon. But I also agree that he does not have too much time left in his career. He is not getting enough time on the pitch because Manchester United is getting good results without him.

So, I don't think Manchester United is going to want to keep him in the team. Even if Cristiano Ronaldo has to take a pay cut, I think he should move. I really hope that he is approached by Bayern Munich in the very next transfer window. And I think I should have used "in the recent future" when I am talking about Cristiano Ronaldo, especially now.

You are right. There was a game between Netherlands and Pakistan in which Pakistan just scored 206 runs and it was bowlers that saved the day for Pakistan. From both these tour of Srilanka and Netherlands its very much clear that Pakistan is not a good test and odi side.

Yeah.. we are talking about the 3rd ODI between these two sides, in which Pakistan won by just 9 runs. Apart from Babar Azam (91) all the other Pakistani batsmen failed in this match. But historically, Netherlands has been strong in the pace bowling department. Remember the 2003 World Cup match between India and Netherlands? India were bowled out for just 204 runs (two runs less than what Pakistan made). Back then it was Tim de Leede who wrecked the Indian batting lineup. And 19 years later, it was his son (Bas de Leede) who bowled out Pakistan for 206.

I think that Pakistan can take some positives from this and that is they know they have the firepower in the bowling department to defend even a very low total. And Pakistan will remember that they have to do well as a team in the batting department. Currently, the batting lineup of Pakistan is not being able to perform together as a unit. That is a very big weakness for Pakistan.

They will have to remember that only one or two players performing each match are not going to be enough for them. Pakistan was very lucky that they had good bowlers. That's why they could win by 9 runs in that match against Netherlands. Otherwise, it would have been a big upset.

It looks like Sergio Busquets will stop playing football and will enjoy his old age to rest or maybe also do business again as a football coach even though he is still not too old to be a soccer coach, but if he until now still hasn't shown where he will go because Sergio Busquets is still too in love with Barcelona. But usually those who are not extended at Barcelona will be targeted by other clubs, so it depends on whether Sergio Busquets wants to continue his football career or not.
Busquets is likely to leave Barcelona in the summer and continue his career in MLS. He said that it was important for him to play in the main team and I think that the amount of the contract is take not the last place in this choice. Many star players continue their careers in the MLS. Busquets has had a great career at Barcelona, he's been with the team since 2008 and I think of players like that that they should finish their career at the club where they spent their best time.
Sergio Busquets is surely one of the legendary players at Barcelona and now like Messi he also decided to leave this club after 14 years of his amazing performance but good thing most chances he is still going to play for some more years because he feels he can do this and his body is also allowing him to do this for some more years than it's good with this now he is transferring into MLS which is surely heaven for old players from UEFA having good money and some good last seasons in soccer, so he is also doing with this as CDM position now World Cup and then MLS surely going to be good for him in next few years and good money making portunities in MLS which is also important for player like Sergio Busquets.

Busquets has made the right decision in my opinion. At the end of his career and at this old age he should give his body some rest and it is good to see that he knows even though he is not one of the best players for Barcelona anymore he can still contribute to some other League and in some other teams. And at this point, I think it is more important to end the career with some more money in hand compared to just being the representative of just one club.

So, I think he made the right choice and in his new team, he is going to get a good amount of playtime and also get a good amount of money considering that he is quite old at this point.

Considered one of the greatest players of all time C.Ronaldo has a contract at Old Trafford until 2023. I'm looking forward to Ronaldo's address after ManU. Of course, they are trying to be cute in the teams that want to buy him in the meantime. Although Udinese did not make an official offer for Ronaldo he made his intentions clear on Instagram. Udinese goalkeeper Marco Silvestri has called Ronaldo back to Italy. The Udinese team responded to this call on Instagram with an eye emoji. I don't think Ronaldo will return to Serie A again.

Don't you find it weird when weekends like this arrive and there are no games in La Liga? It is almost like a religious ritual: for many people, football could at least enter the category of "ideology", as they may feel compelled to make some decisions depending on the calendar. I am not that type of person, but I feel a little emptiness on days like today, not being able to watch my favourite teams play against each other.
Friend, may be you have an addiction?  Smiley On the one hand, I understand you because I recently experienced similar feelings due to a pause in the Premier League, but there was a different situation - the pause was unexpected. The current pause was known in advance and there was no "cancellation of what you have been waiting for a long time." After all, the teams you follow are associated with certain players - you can follow them in the national team format. Yes, it's not a complete replacement, but still.
snip
Yes, it becomes natural when you really become a football connoisseur, but don't worry there is still a match even though it's not here. We can still see them competing at the level of their respective countries. This should be said to be a common thing, because we have gone through things like this, even without a match some time ago. I'm sure I don't need to say when it happened, because everyone felt the impact.

KTChampions, There are a lot of differences between club football and international football as compared to each other. it is impossible to replace one with another. there is no doubt that international football is more interesting when the world cup is very close at hand. in addition, i am really interested in seeing how the players perform with their respective national teams prior to the World Cup.

Fesatmas, All over the world, football is something that will always be a part of the lives of a great deal of people. however, i do think that we sometimes don't give enough importance to international football as we do to club football. we have to realize that there is no bigger event in football compared to the world cup.
1734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 26, 2022, 04:00:36 PM
But City failed to beat Newcastle and Aston Villa, which are only 10th and 15th respectively. Anything can happen - let's say Arsenal loses Tottenham, and City loses United. Then the situation in the standings will get even more confused, but it will be obvious that City is far from being the strongest team in a particular segment of championship.
Manchester City may have drawn two matches. But they have not lost any match this season. Their performance is quite good. Although City is much stronger than Manchester United, they are likely to lose if City does not perform carefully. Every team in the Premier League is strong. So Manchester City will have to perform very carefully against United if they want to occupy the top spot in the points table. Unless they make any mistake they will be able to score full points in this match.
The match between Arsenal and Tottenham will be very competitive. Both teams are strong enough. It is difficult to predict the outcome of this match.

To begin with, i think Arsenal will lose the match against Tottenham, and to follow that, i also believe that Manchester City will beat Manchester United in a match that is contested at Etihad Stadium.

Looking at the recent record of Arsenal we will see that they did not perform very well when it came to playing against the big teams in the English Premier League. i am not saying that i am certain that Arsenal will lose to Tottenham on Saturday night. however, i am not confident that Arsenal will be able to win the game as well. also, i am sure that the table is going to become even more confusing from now on as a result of all this.
1735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamental or Technical Analyst. Which one are you? on: September 26, 2022, 02:29:17 AM
I am logical thinker.  Cheesy I have stopped with those long ago with bitcoin and few of the Altcoins that I own. I am very much aware and used to guide everyone that fundamentals and technical analysis are the best instruments to understand and work on before investing your money. However, with the time things are way complicated with crypto currencies. For example, they are getting way more volatile as compared to previous year and to the previous year of that. So it’s kind of weird whenever we do those analysis they are not turning out 100% exact. Now I know that none of them always do but they don’t even keep us away from the alarming losses. So it’s better think logically, Check the math and invest.
you have a simple but reasonable thought. that's true because currently using technical and fundamental analysis is also more often deceived by market charts.
this may have more of an effect on short-term trading and investment. the analyzes carried out seem to have begun to experience a shift and are not by the previous one.
I might follow your thoughts  Cheesy

Technical and fundamental analysis are those methods that significantly work in stocks since you have actual data to work on. With the data that you have, you can at least relatively predict when will be the next dip or rise on the price of a stock in order to maximize your profit.

Though that may be the case, it is a different playing field when it comes to cryptocurrencies. For one, the trading for crypto happens every minute, unlike in stocks, there are only designated times where you can purchase/sell. With the higher volatility, it can also be difficult to predict and forecast its next rise.

Stick with your gut and be knowledgeable about current events as they are definitely helpful in knowing at least the price of BTC in the market.

agree with this simple thinking, using analysis in stock or forex is essential as they have historical data with which we can make predictions for the future. as for the crypto market, apart from bitcoin being the oldest coin available, altcoins are still very new, we don't have too much data to research and analyze. for coins that are less than 1 year old and do not have too much data, where should they be analyzed?

not to mention the cryptocurrency market is still too small and the big players have enough capacity to manipulate the market, just one tweet from Elon sent the market into a frenzy, the analysis here is pointless.
1736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get rid of useless tokens on: September 26, 2022, 02:13:36 AM
Is there any way to stop unwanted tokens deposits in my wallet? I have used two different types of crypto wallets and I keep getting tokens I know nothing about, I read that those tokens are scammers trap and moreover I never worked for it.
There is no way to prevent the deposit of junk tokens in our wallet, because they find the wallet address based on the transactions we make. If it's an empty wallet, the trash token won't be in our wallet. They have backed up a number of wallet addresses, and sent them all at once using bulksender. Moreover, the wallet that we use to participate in bounty and airdrop projects. They easily backup it.

yes we can use brand new wallet and don't use that main wallet to participate in airdrop or bounty campaign no one will know about your wallet you will no longer get spam tokens. most people will get junk tokens, normally we are in the habit of ignoring them, but finicky and nasty people just need to create a new wallet, absolutely never try to use and touch them once out of curiosity, even a small action can jeopardize all assets in our wallet
1737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why have so many platforms delisted Polygon tokens? on: September 26, 2022, 01:58:04 AM
Due to low fees I used to keep stablecoins and some other tokens in the Polygon network, but in the past few days, most of the exchanges de listed these stablecoins or tokens on the Polygon network and only accept deposit and withdrawal to Ethereum network

Hmm. This news are completely new to me as i have never heard before that a lot of exchanges are delisting polygon based tokens or stablecoins. The only thing of that direction that i heard was a few weeks ago when Binance announced that they would delist USDC and i think also other stablecoins. This had nothing to do with the polygon chain though. This was just a move to make the people use BUSD more, because that is the stablecoin that is minted and controlled by Binance itself so they are just using their market power in order to push their own stablecoin.
I think everything is alright with polygon and you don't need to worry.

i'm waiting for him to come back to his thread to provide more information, can see that no one can find the information OP is talking about, can't say exactly what problem he is having.  the issue of delisting usdc and other stable coins was announced by binance 2 weeks ago and it has nothing to do with the polygon he said. it makes me wonder if he is creating a FUD in order to create fear and anxiety as he doesn't provide any links or proof as to what he is saying
1738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: September 26, 2022, 12:01:05 AM
~snip~
there is no question in my mind that the Nations League is a complete waste of time and energy on the part of the players. with the world cup approaching, i don't think there is time for players to play in the Nations League as well as the possibility of them getting injured since there are key players for a nation who can single-handedly win any match they play in. in spite of this, i have to admit that i was very disappointed with both Germany and England during the match. they may have been playing safe so that no players get injured, but even after that their games were really slow-paced, so it could be that they were playing safe to prevent any injuries.

There's also the fact that the Nations League prevents South American teams to play against most of the best teams in the world for practice.

Argentina ended up playing against Honduras recently for a friendly match, and Messi got almost injured from it.

Still Argentina seems to have hopes for this world cup. Here's some background about it: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/sep/24/against-all-odds-lionel-messi-has-one-last-shot-at-world-cup-glory-with-argentina

there is no doubt that i dislike the fact that South American teams are not allowed to make a bid for the Nations League as this would have made the league more competitive
and would have generated more revenue with teams such as Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, and Uruguay competing for the league
after Messi was tackled in such a harsh manner, i was really scared

there is a possibility that he could have been out for months, who knows?

it is important to note that he is doing well now and he is the only hope for Argentina as he is keeping the team together and this may be the last time he is involved in a major tournament
i believe Argentina will have a good chance of making it to the finals of this World Cup if Messi's teammates support him well enough
1739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 25, 2022, 02:58:54 PM
Napoli are most likely to keep their lead by this week also. Because in the opening match of the week they are going to host Torino. They have been mostly dominant against Torino in their recent head-to-head games. Maybe they didn't win by a very comfortable score in any of the games but they still won most of the time. Considering the current conditions, Napoli should be able to defeat them once again.

The Serie A can be very surprising from time to time of course as I remember that Napoli couldn't beat Lecce home (1-1). But hopefully we won't see any surprising result in this game.

If this tour did not take place after the break for the national teams, I would say that in the first eight all the leaders will take 3 points, except for the Inter-Roma pair, where someone will definitely lose points and in general the result is unpredictable. But given that a break always has an impact on teams, I think we will still see some unexpected results, hopefully they will touch the big three so that the rest of the teams continue to strengthen their position relative to them.

Napoli is going to face Torino. But considering the recent performance of Napoli, I don't think they are going to lose. The result will probably be a draw in the worst-case scenario for Napoli. But I don't believe they are going to lose.

I think the next match Atalanta is going to be really interesting because they are going to face Fiorentina in the next match. And that is certainly not going to be an easy one even though the points table suggests otherwise. Fiorentina is going to be really determined to win this match.

In the Inter vs Roma match, I think there are going to be a lot of goals. Because both teams have scored quite a lot of goals and also conceded quite a lot as well. But I am going to say Roma has a more classy play style compared to Inter.

Kinda amazing everyone wants fair distribution but no stakeholders talk about how to bring a fair amount of money to the table from broadcasting deals be it from ICC tournaments or Bilateral. Only reason BCCI opposes every such proposal. In their point of view, this all seems to be predatory behavior.

I can't even blame them if we look at numbers. They are contributing close to 70%-80% and receive 15%-18% money back. In contrast, its 3 neighboring countries contribute 1-2% at best and walk away with almost 20-ish% of revenue combined and everyone still shit on BCCI constantly.

The kind of money ICC raised from India in a recent media right auction is way too big and could dictate the drama. My fear is if by any chance in this cycle BCCI's contribution to the ICC revenue pot increases by 10% more (80+10 =90%) then this is going to be a problem for everyone. This will give BCCI immense bargaining power again and what if they decide to boycott ICC tournament? Every Broadcaster will %uck the ICC without any doubt.

BCCI contribute to around 70% of the TV broadcasting revenues, and they get 23% of the ICC funding in return ($405 million out of $1,774 million). ECB receives just 8% and the other tier 1 test nations receive just 7.2% each. In short, they receive almost 3x the revenues when compared to the second placed association. On top of that, ICC has blocked 2.5 months every year from it's calendar for the IPL. IMO, this looks fair for me. If the BCCI asks for more, then obviously the associate nation funding will be decreased even further.

as a matter of fact, i agree with you that this is fair. the question is, to what extent?
in my opinion, this is a fair deal for BCCI. it is likely that this is also fair to the teams at the top of the pyramid. do you think this is a fair thing to do for everyone?
when i say everyone, i mean the associate countries. in the long run, ICC will be unable to improve the situation of associated countries if they do not care about them. at some point, the revenue for the ICC is not going to improve for the foreseeable future. it is true that ICC may be forced to run as a non-profit project for some time if it gives more funds to the associate countries than it has been doing. after that, it will be worth it in the end.
