1701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra Luna Classic pumping - can it last? on: October 06, 2022, 02:59:16 AM
Your expectation is quite high if you look at the current market conditions I believe we can not expect such huge movement in the LUNC until and unless BTC also moves. I would suggest leaving it and look any other coins that have potential rather than depend on this coin. You are in profit at the moment you can consider booking some profit or can take out the principal amount rest you can hold because I don't see it has the potential to keep growing but it can pump and dump and that we can not deny.
Some investors want to take risks without realizing it. Investors often forget the general idea that Terra will pump but have no reason. There is no change in their supply in the amount they are burning. Because the supply is much higher than Burning. Observation must be done before taking risk or else big disaster can happen.

if i remember correctly, the current supply of Lunc is 6,7 trillion tokens, an extremely large supply. it is known that lunc recently received support from binance, the exchange is burning lunc every month, from September 26 to October 4, the number of tokens burned was 5.5 billion lunc.
if this holds up, binance will also take many years to bring the total Lunc supply back to 10 billion and it is unlikely that binance will support the lunc burning until the target is reached, they just said they would stop burning on notice

the risk of investing in lunch is still very high, so you should consider it
1702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Popular projects and none popular projects on: October 06, 2022, 02:43:02 AM
If I invest in a popular project does that make my money safe from scams or popular projects can turn to scam as well?

except for bitcoin, the rest of the projects are risky but the risk is more or less depending on each project, capital investment is very risky and cryptocurrencies are considered the riskiest form of investment. nothing is absolutely safe in the market, so you have to be very careful before investing

i will remind you of Luna's recent death, Luna is a potential coin developed in 2018 and will really explode in 2022 and become the top project with a market capitalization of nearly 60 billion, this is a huge number that proves the level of success of the project. but after less than 2 weeks everything has returned to zero showing that risks are always lurking for us in the market. be careful with everything, only invest as much as you can if you can lose
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 05, 2022, 09:28:37 PM
Messi could have been able to play beside Haaland at Manchester City if the English team made a serious offer for Messi. I don't know if we can see this duo in the same team in the future. Messi is already getting really old and we don't know when he is thinking of retiring. Maybe he would play for long years just as Ronaldo has been planning.
Truthfully I'd like to see Messi - Haaland duo. It feels like these two can have a very good relationship with each other and this would be an even bigger contribution to the attacking power of a team. I don't think that Messi's next stop would be a different team than Barcelona if he leaves. Maybe PSG would bring Haaland in the future in case Neymar leaves. Mbappe can play on the wing also in the end. Then this trio would be much stronger and this time PSG would be unstoppable rather than Manchester City.  Grin
This will never happen, Manchester City has no other plan but to play all round Haaland alone this has been the plan even when they signed the signature. If they both play together who will be under the shadows of who, football days for Messi are over. Even at PSG they are still playing to Kylian Mbappe because of the transfer deal and agreement with PSG.
After the world Cup I will see if Neymar continues at PSG, if a good team approaches him with the right salaries I think he will leave.
But with Mbappe behavior I don't think he can win the Champions League soon or later.
It is true that Man City will never bring in Messi, because from the start Guardiola's strategy has only relied on one striker. Moreover, Man City's
current performance has been good, so I think Guardiola is satisfied with the current squad. After all, Man City is not a team that is interested in
signing older players with high salaries like Messi. I even more believe in Messi rejoining Barcelona than moving to Man City.
After all, without the presence of Messi, Man City's front line performance has been very productive, so it is almost impossible for Messi to move
to Man City. Likewise, the possibility of Haaland moving to PSG seems difficult to happen, because no matter how much money PSG will offer,
looks like Man City will not sell Haaland. Moreover, by seeing Haaland's performance which was extraordinary, it was very small chance for Man City
to let Haaland go. I agree with you that the chances of PSG winning the Champions League trophy are very slim, if the star players they have are
still playing selfishly. Especially Mbappe since getting a new contract from PSG, I see Mbappe's behavior is getting more selfish.

right now there's no reason for manchester city to bring Lionel Messi into the team. If it was before Haaland came into the team, probably there could be some option for Manchester City to bring in Lionel Messi.

but right now Manchester city is almost a complete team. i really don't see any flaw in the game of Manchester City right now. so, unless something really bad happens i think Manchester city is not going to get rid of Haaland soon. right now he is playing really well and he is basically in the form of his life.

so, it doesn't make sense at all for Manchester City to let Haaland go now. maybe in two or three years if Manchester City has a better option than Haaland, they will think about it. but not right now or not even in 1 year.
1704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects? on: October 05, 2022, 08:09:35 AM
Well, I totally understand the temptation to get in on new projects. I have to say I’m a bit skeptical. From what I can tell with all the rug pulls, I just don’t feel good about the move.

I’m still mainly all in on BTC, I think I’m in a good position and I’m not looking to jump any time in the near future. I say that now, but I do have my eye out for new opportunities but this just has too much risk on it for me right now.
nothing is better than bitcoin. even, after that, we can still have popular altcoins for investment. for someone who wants to invest in a new project, he should be prepared with the existing risks. especially for those who are not too concerned with research. there would be an even greater risk. My advice, if the person is new to the crypto world, you should avoid investing in new projects. it would be better if they invest in existing popular coins while learning about it.
I agree with you, but one thing I would like to say that if one wants to take risk by research and analysis it is very well. But investing in new projects is always risky. Investing here may not bring returns. Since bearish market is on going. So if there is financial support then nothing else is needed except Bitcoin.

since new projects usually bring very good returns, i think investing in new projects is not too bad but only invest with the amount you are willing to accept to lose and always do your research before investing. absolutely should not only focus on altcoins but leave most with bitcoin, leave only some assets with altcoins

currently the market is still in the bear season but there are some very potential layer 1 projects and under construction, which will most likely be the next gems like solana, avax...we can monitor and observe more to seize the opportunity
1705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we deserve to have bitcoin on: October 05, 2022, 08:00:56 AM
i cannot guarantee you that if you own bitcoin, you will become a millionaire in the future because bitcoin does not offer such a program, as Cryptovator said above. but i believe if you own bitcoin and hold it for a long time maybe from 5 years to 10 years it will make you richer now because the value of bitcoin then i believe it will be much higher than it is now in

do not wait to buy bitcoin but buy it now because the current price is also considered cheap compared to its real value, buy now and hold, you won't be disappointed for bitcoin
1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A New Study - Bitcoin is 56x more energy Efficient than Traditional Banks on: October 05, 2022, 07:39:34 AM

That's why this campaign popup https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5415550.0
to realize people that Bitcoin does not consume as much power as the environmentalists out there are campaigning for

basically, bitcoin mining consumes quite a bit of energy but compared to the consumption with other industries it is really insignificant, but they always find a way to blame bitcoin and the ethereum merger gives them more reason to put more pressure on bitcoin

i think if all the miners switched to using renewable energy to mine bitcoin, they would still blame and find all sorts of other reasons because those people didn't like bitcoin in the first place. this is controversial and there are still a lot of bitcoin supporters like us so i think it's nothing too serious, bitcoin cannot please everyone
1707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 03, 2022, 01:30:00 PM
Yes Real Madrid failed to shift back Barcelona because of this draw. Benzema failed to execute a penalty so Real Madrid failed to take the lead again. It was completely unexpected, Osasuna could hold Real Madrid in need of a win. Finally, the achievement of Real Madrid, which always wins, was broken by Osasuna in this match. The result that was expected by Barcelona. Now the competition will be tougher.
Real Madrid actually has a chance to get full points from Osasuna if Karim Benzema penalty kick does not hit the crossbar. As a result of being unlucky in this match Real Madrid had to settle for a draw and share points with Osasuna, Real Madrid also failed to climb back up to the first rank because they lost the number of goals to Barcelona.
The draw obtained from Osasuna is the first time Real Madrid have in the 2022-2023 La Liga season, because previously Real Madrid always won in every match they played.
It's a bad day for Real Madrid, they play at home but they fail to get maximum results. Their performance isn't that bad because they still won possession and they had some chances that could have been goals, it's just that Real Madrid couldn't really take the opportunity (even when Osasuna got a red card, Real Madrid failed to take advantage of it). By only getting 1 additional point, then Real Madrid is in the second position behind Barcelona. Even though they both have 19 points, Barcelona has a bigger goal difference than Real Madrid.

For me, the turning/crucial point of the match was Benzema missing the penalty. the bar was shaking like a spring when the ball hit it. actually, it's not Real Madrid playing badly. i have to give credit to Osasuna. they played really well. It is true that real Madrid was a little unlucky in this match. but Osasuna did really well and i have to give credit where credit is due.

by the way, the goal from Vini jr was really great and i feel like the goalkeeper was faked. he got a Real Madrid player who was going to get a touch on the ball. the goal from Osasuna was really great as well. that was a header Kike is not going to forget soon. now this result quotes Barcelona at first place and Real Madrid at second.
1708  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: October 03, 2022, 12:36:25 PM
everything will get better if the bulls come again and the altcoin season starts,
because I believe that 80% of the holders in cryptocurrencies are altcoin holders and altcoins are currently really very bad,
judging from the chart altcoins have gone down to -90% so I I really hope that altcoins can recover in 2023.

how can altcoins recover when bitcoin has not recovered, that will never happen. already a crypto investor if we are wise enough most of our investment will be in bitcoin and only a small part in altcoin as we all know altcoins are very risky. it's wrong for people to try to hold altcoins without any bitcoins in their wallets, which is a really bad thing

looking at previous bear seasons, a lot of altcoins dropped during bear season and most failed to recover and grow again after the bear season ended, only bitcoin and ethereum are 2 coins that always recover
1709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can whitepaper still shows the weakness of a project and their team on: October 03, 2022, 12:20:03 PM
as you say it's a big project, meaning serious and methodical investment projects to prepare for a long working process, why can't they create a whitepaper of their own? but have to go copy someone else's. their very actions tell you that they wanted to scam you in the first place, because those things are not theirs but they claim to be theirs

such type of project is not worth considering let alone investing in it. don't believe any excuses from scammers, they are just trying to trick you and have no better intentions

in the whitepaper, it is clear how the development of their project in the future. in the whitepaper, their vision and mission must be clear. In addition, you need to clearly see that the whitepaper follows what project, if it is a large project, it might be useful and develop in the future, but they need to differentiate with more advanced project development. however, if it's a whitepaper from a failed project, then it's best to stay away from it.
After all, Whitepaper is the thing they will do in the project. if they really don't really care about their project, then they will show weakness in the whitepaper.
what you said about the whitepaper is true even though they are incomplete but it looks like you are just reading the title of the article and not the content of the OP's article
1710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the perfect time to invest in Bitcoin on: October 03, 2022, 12:03:04 PM
The price of Bitcoin increased drastically in late 2020 and early 2021. The price of Bitcoin touched about 72k dollars. But from there the price has come down to its lowest level.

https://i.ibb.co/SwZRFXh/22b6e9eb5212.jpg

Bitcoin price is currently 19302 dollars but the possibility of Bitcoin price increase from here is very high. And I think Bitcoin price in 2023 Chances of reaching $100,000 per year are very high so if one wants to invest then now is the best time to invest in Bitcoin.

If you invest at this time then you will definitely be able to reap huge benefits as I believe that Bitcoin price will increase greatly by 2023.

I remember the ATH that bitcoin reached was $69k not $72k like you said, correct me if I'm wrong. The possibility of bitcoin hitting $100k or hitting a new ATH in 2023 is very unlikely, usually bitcoin will only hit a new ATH after each halving event, so predicting bitcoin reaching ATH in 2024-2025 will be much more feasible than predicting next year. It's all speculation and no one knows exactly when it might happen but I can only say for sure it will happen in the future. But buying bitcoin now is absolutely the right thing to do, bitcoin price is already a lot cheaper than its peak, the perfect time to buy bitcoin is now.

I also believe its $69k and not $72k. However, i don't see high chances for bitcoin to reach its new ATH by next year as its obvious that this bear market will stay for long. Though its good to see some slight increase for bitcoin price but after that, the price drops gradually. And this scenario may even continue by next year especially that we are not expecting a major positive news that will eventually change the market condition.

having to say that the chances of getting a bull season next year are very small, it can be said that it will not happen. first let's talk about the market downtrend cycle, it usually lasts 4 years and the bull season will only come after the halving takes place. the second thing is the current world situation, inflation is continuing to dominate the world economy, the war shows no sign of stopping, causing an energy crisis that will last for a long time. all of this will exhaust the economy and risk assets like bitcoin will be hit the hardest, so stop expecting the bull season in 2023
1711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bear Market More Important Than the Bull Market? on: October 03, 2022, 11:50:25 AM
Bear Market and Bull Market are important in their own ways and depending on the investor themselves.

For me, bull market is a time to sell and bear market is a time to accumulate. The problem is there are some investors who are doing the opposite. Investors are investing in a bull market because they are afraid not to ride on a train where all of the coins are pumping like crazy. On the other hand, investors are selling at a bear market because the afraid they might incur more losses that's why they will sell even at a loss.

Just remember, don't do what most of the people are doing. Another one is bear market is a time to accumulate and bull market is a time to sell.

not everyone does, those who are selling during bear season and buying back during bull season are mostly newbies. they are people who have no knowledge, have not experienced the ups and downs of the market, but refuse to learn and listen to anyone's advice

people who have gone through bear seasons before are just like you, they are trying to accumulate bitcoins daily, every time the price drops they keep buying and buying

I find it a little bit funny that many people in the cryptocurrency market are focused on two things: the bears and the bulls. Now, if we can concentrate more on adoption of Bitcoin in particular and cryptocurrency in general then things will eventually be good for all. as far as the bears and the bulls are concerned, they are more in speculative in nature and while I see nothing wrong with them as they are hallmarks of a open trading market...Bitcoin is certainly more than those. And right now, there are many more issues surrounding Bitcoin aside from them.

everyone considers bitcoin to be a lucrative investment market so there is nothing left to discuss but price speculation. if you are not among them, you are one of the few, very rare
1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 02, 2022, 05:26:24 PM
There is some claim like Haaland's father stated that Haaland would play for Manchester City for 3-4 years.

Will it be? Because I have read in several places that Real Madrid are considering signing two players from Manchester City for the next season and one of them would be Erling Haaland. The other player coveted by Real Madrid is Portuguese winger João Cancelo.

The intention for Cancelo is for him to play on the left side, as he has done in England.. it is a position that is currently lacking in a good player in the Santiago Bernabéu team, which has only Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vázquez, who is improvised there.

Really don't know how true these claims are. the way Haaland is playing in Manchester City i don't think you will be interested to move so soon. if Manchester City is able to win the Champions League i really don't think Haaland is going to move. now the only thing that can give this claim some base is that Real Madrid also wants him on the team. so, that is something any player is going to be interested in. but i still find it hard to believe that Haaland is going to be interested to move so soon from a club like Manchester City when he is performing so well for Manchester City.
1713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How about investing into altcoins? on: October 02, 2022, 09:05:51 AM
Investing in altcoins during bear market might turn into suicide mission. It will be very hard to choose a proper altcoin to invest. Everyone, even old and reputed projects, try to look like a gem, but bear market easily and quickly clears market from weak and useless projects. The only reasonable advice that can be given - invest only in reach altcoins. In altcoins that have huge funds behind, investors and etc. Unfortunately, even innovative and progressive ideas fail nowadays.

in my opinion, just focusing on bitcoin is enough, no need to go looking for altcoins with potential for the next bull run, it will be quite time consuming and there are no guarantees here. if there is an investment in altcoin then best we should only pay attention to eth and bnb if, the rest can be like the next luna

everyone should accept the fact that altcoins only give good returns during the bull market, so wait for the bull season to come, don't rush to invest in altcoins at this time
1714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum drop gets me worried. on: October 02, 2022, 08:54:44 AM
Ethereum drops after proof-of-stake.
Source' channelsnews.com

My worry right now is that, is it going to drop worst more than it has already and what are the chances of it pulling up within the shortest possible period?

As am getting the feeling of withdrawing my asset before it gets worst or am I been too haste.

the merger itself is considered ethereum's biggest event to date, which will mark a major turning point for the entire eth ecosystem. this is a major milestone for eth since launch

have to say people are too Fomo, we are in a bear market and people were hoping that ethereum will go high after the merge. but in the end, things did not go as expected, causing a series of investors panic and dumping

this is not necessarily bad so you don't need to worry if you are investing for the long term eth is the best coin after btc so you can totally benefit if you hold it long term
1715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest a promising project at an early stage? on: October 02, 2022, 08:27:11 AM
The new project is the best place to get a big profit in a short time, I always observe the conditions in Coinmarketcap, especially those in the trending tab, and the last 2 months I invest about 6 trending coins and the results 4 can be profit and 2 still loss, in October I have a target for investing in 4 trending coins.

that's an impressive achievement as we are in bear season and more especially you are investing in new projects and generating profits. can you provide the names of the projects you have invested in? i am curious to know what new projects can do well in the last 2 months while bitcoin and top altcoins are suffering a severe drop, September was a bad month for the whole market

also, if possible, i would also like to know the next 4 coins you will invest in, this is not advice, i just want to see their names. hope you will come back to answer my question
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 02, 2022, 12:43:12 AM
Union Berlin couldn't even score in that match against Eintracht Frankfurt, even though in the second half Eintracht Frankfurt only played defensively because they had won 2-0 at half time. Eintracht Frankfurt really took advantage of a quick goal and then changed their gameplay scheme and they succeeded in implementing it, but if Union Berlin had the luck and ability to score goals then such a scheme could be a blunder for Eintracht Frankfurt. Eintracht Frankfurt who did not get maximum results in the first three matches but slowly they began to show their performance, now Eintracht Frankfurt are in fifth place with 14 points which of course is a good performance that they have managed to do. While Union Berlin, they are still at the top of the standings but with the same points gain as Freiburg with 17 points, and Bayern Munich will still be the team that will shift them all at the top. Cheesy

as a matter of fact, i believe this might be the impetus for Union Berlin to start declining on the table as the season progresses. i can imagine that people were surprised when they saw them on top of the table, so if they start playing bad from now on, it will be very understandable to them if they don't do anything except lose games in the future. as the season approaches, we can expect that the bigger team will settle down, start playing better, and will continue to play more consistently as the season goes on. in such a case, the performance of Union Berlin should begin to change, and the performance should gradually become inconsistent. Bayern Munich started winning and i think it is a matter of time before there retain first place again.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 02, 2022, 12:19:25 AM
Villarreal is a strong enough team and Cadiz is getting points at home for the first time. It's natural for them to think that 1 point is enough. Towards the end of the match, they wanted to keep this score as they went without conceding a goal for a long time.
The red card in overtime was very clever. Carcelen blocked the clear goal position and received applause from the fans. It's not common for a red card to be applauded. It was an interesting situation.
Getting a point against Emery's Villarreal should count as success. Cadiz can play against teams similar of their quality to win the match. It's their nature to be protective against big teams.
I feel like there are teams that just want to get out with a point at least, and that’s fine for them and it’s a long term approach. I am not saying that it would be a good idea for many teams, but if you want to just avoid relegation, then if you aim at 1.00+ point averages then it would be a good thing for you.

Not like they could, Cadiz is in trouble if you ask me, but if they aim at that, then they would avoid relegation, and not like they could be a top 5-6 team anyway, so it’s better to be 14th or something at the end of the season then be at a level where it would be just a situation where they would rather have to keep trying again and again instead.

According to the outcome of the Cadiz Vs Villarreal match, i believe that Cadiz missed many chances to achieve a positive result for their team. i also believe that they will be happy if they can somehow just avoid relegation. and not losing and getting 1 point again stay strong appoint is obviously a good outcome for them. in the next game, Cadiz is scheduled to play Espanyol from Spain. as a result, i believe that they have a good chance of getting another draw and, if they play well, they may also be able to win the match. that is going to significantly improve their position on the table.
1718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invitation to teach Bitcoin in a school on: October 01, 2022, 09:31:53 AM
I hope one day I can teach about bitcoin to people around me. and they can feel the benefits of bitcoin as I do. but i still don't know much about bitcoin. and still learning. but the story from the OP is really motivational for me. to be more active in learning new things such as bitcoin. and so that I can teach others when someone asks me. because without knowledge we find it difficult to explain when someone else asks.

really admire OP's actions, not many people will have the courage to spend time teaching others

as long as you work hard, i believe that one day you will not only have a solid knowledge of bitcoin, but you will also be able to make a profit in this market. teaching others is not easy if we don't have enough knowledge, but i think you don't have to wait until you have enough knowledge or mature in the market to teach others. you can also start with your loved ones, let's learn bitcoin with them, teach them what you already know.  i think when we are the same, there is not too much difference in knowledge, learning together will promote us to progress very quickly. i used to do this when i was in school and found it quite effective in group study
1719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nuclear and gas fastest growing energy sources for Bitcoin mining: Data on: October 01, 2022, 08:52:42 AM

It is strange that we (Bitcoin community) have to justify and explain our "Energy" use... but large corporations are flying under the radar. (Example : How many Fiat ATM's are using "clean" energy? ..... How many card readers in shops are using renewable resources? .....etc.. )

even if bitcoin mining is moved to renewable energy i think those bitcoin haters will still find another reason to keep attacking bitcoin this will definitely never stop until bitcoin is no longer active. but unfortunately bitcoin will never stop working so we don't need to argue with them too much on this issue

like you, i never bothered about bitcoin mining energy, can we see heavy industry, all the tech stuff these days, how many things use green energy? why bitcoin and always bitcoin, while bitcoin is also bringing value to millions of people around the world
1720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen If Bitcoin got stabled ? on: October 01, 2022, 08:30:56 AM
Honestly, I don't understand what the OP meant. I think he also knows the difference between stablecoins and bitcoins. what he means is what if the price of bitcoin becomes sideways. namely the condition when the price movement of bitcoin in the market moves relatively horizontally or flatly. caused by buying and selling requests that are both strong or balanced. and if this lasts long then it certainly affects other coins. but not completely influential. because some coins will move according to the hype that exists on the coin itself, such as because there are certain events that will make a coin continue to shoot up even though bitcoin is down. for example like yesterday when ETH was in Hype because of The Merge Event.

OP, did you mean stable, it was a market condition that became Sideways or flat? if that's what you mean then the answer is as I said above.

as far as i understand he is referring to the stability of bitcoin as gold today means bitcoin will become a less volatile asset like gold or other traditional assets.  this will never happen because bitcoin is a decentralized asset that is not controlled or managed by anyone so it cannot become as stable as fiat or gold. i believe all of us investors also never want a stable bitcoin because we are here looking for profit, how can a stable thing make a profit
