There are two different factors.

1. The funding for associate members were reduced from $62.5 million per year in 2007-15 cycle to $20 million per year in 2015-23 cycle ($20 million was a compromise after Srinivasan-Pawar mafia proposed zero funds for the associate nations in 2014).

2. The eligibility rules were changed, allowing countries to form teams with 100% foreigners. This benefitted Oman, UAE.etc, and they now receive a greater share of funds. For countries such as UAE, the decrease is not very significant. They receive almost the same amount of funds that they used to receive before 2015. But for countries fielding native players such as Kenya, Thailand, PNG and Nepal, the funds that they now receive is around 10% of what they used to get before 2015. And it is not surprising that cricket is dying in these countries.

We're seeing the impact, the increase of the interest rates are showing how the US dollars is dominating the markets now. And just like the other markets, the crypto market has stumbled although for this day, we've seen a quick reversal and recovery.

Well some may think that Potter had to work out with more teams before getting into managing big teams , I think that it is his unique way of managing which has earned him manager spot for team such as Chelsea.
