2701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think crypto prices will collapse further tomorrow? on: November 28, 2021, 11:04:27 PM
Yesterday and today, the Bitcoin price and crypto prices in general moved rather sideways. However, it is now known that crypto prices behave similarly to stock prices. Since the futures for the S&P and other indices are currently trending much more negatively, it is feared that because of the new Corona variant, the stock markets will continue to slide tomorrow. Do you think that crypto prices will therefore also continue to lose tomorrow?
We'd rather see red on the market and most of the coins are in big decline but never I think that was because of the new Covid variant that appears. I don't weigh that much and think that will be the reason as we are still healthy even during the covid-19 crisis. There is another reason that it causes this decline that we need to know or that we called "normal" market corrections.
The price of Bitcoin remains $50k (currently at $56k), so it wasn't a thing to worry about and we are still far from being in a bearish state.
2702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN DO YOU BUY BITCOIN? on: November 28, 2021, 10:39:25 PM
At one point or the other, we all need to buy bitcoin, but when do you actually buy it? or when is the best moment to buy bitcoin?

For example, should I save some cash to but bitcoin when there's a 0 -15% dip? or should I wait till there's a major drop of >30%?

Is DCA the only way to buy bitcoin? What if I invest in an altcoin that booms and then take profit from it to buy more bitcoin?

What is your strategy to buy bitcoin?

in my personal opinion probably i will wait until it shows a good trend.. I mean a sign of strong up trend not during the correction because i dont have a large of capital to invest so if however it continue to make correction my money is safe, lol  it's quite skeptical in my situation to be honest because for sure if it will go below 50k soon and i put my investment very ealry for sure it will end up nothing.. So too good to be true, even i know a lot of investors accumulating now since bitcoin showing a consolidation around the current price. For me it still good to wait for more results to assure everything will gonna be alright..
Investors are always on the look where they can make a benefit and they sure grab the opportunity once the market is in dip, not just in a huge correction. I simply just follow such a concept of buying in every correction but because of limited resources, it can be a problem. And I believe that most of us here wanted to do so but because we need assurance and safety, we usually think about waiting a little bit or until the market shows the last correction before buying and that sometimes we miss it as the market will pump unpredictably.
2703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 28, 2021, 12:49:34 PM

Going back to crypto, I can't confirm if there's a crypto-site that listed MPBL games before.

Same here, but if there's a crypto site that would accept betting on MPBL that should be updated so we can put a bet. I believe 1xbit is one of the crypto sportsbooks that has a wide range of markets on sports, they probably have MPBL, however, their reputation is not good, so I don't suggest betting on this site.
2704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 28, 2021, 12:17:49 PM
Personally, I am for GSW and my bets are with them throughout this season. I do hope that they are a playoff caliber team given the fact that they lack Klay and Wiseman on the offensive and defensive side but they still manage to come out on top.
With the current lineup and how they are playing, you can expect that they will be in the playoffs and they won't do an early exit. Although Thompson might come back soon we should not expect so high since he is coming from a long layoff and he might need more games to bring back his confidence again.
2705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and additional gas fees on: November 28, 2021, 10:15:46 AM
the fee for ethereum is indeed very high, that is the thing that most people complain about. because of that, people nowadays use BSC more than ethereum. I've also felt the same way when making transactions at Uniswap. the fee paid is very expensive.
In my opinion, Vitalik Buterin should immediately address this issue. Well, this is completely beyond the crypto principles I've ever heard of, namely fast transactions with low fees. however, if not handled immediately, I think sooner or later all projects will migrate to other networks.
The team, Vitalik Butterin knows this already and perhaps, this was an issue years ago but unfortunately, even the hard fork never change it, we are still paying much just to move a few bucks. For now, it becomes uncertain and the only solution the people see now is to use the BSC platform and it is greatly working. Maybe, we couldn't think about lowering the fees, we have to accept the reality that we are in this situation. And even to complain have no use at all and it found no actions from the team.
2706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does someone use trading bots? on: November 28, 2021, 09:48:58 AM
If a good number of people is using a trading bot that uses the same indicators/strategies, it might end up not being profitable. Hence why the general recommendation is to learn how to actually trade yourself, so you can use your own strategies on a custom-made bot.
Actually that's the best case because market needs immediate reactions that could give you profits but if you rely on trading bots that might not be successful in every scenario so it's best to learn all by yourself as your mind is the best helper to you.
It can be unfortunate and I think we don't just rely on bots but rather to work on our own and add more learnings out from. Although there are some legit and working trading bots at this time, I think it was still best and more profiting by doing manual trading than them.
Even me, I less to nothing interest at them as I could even manage my time in trading while working. As long as I can do both, that certainly never gives me a reason to even try at them.
2707  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is recovering on: November 27, 2021, 11:42:49 PM
I'm seeing higher lows here so there is the beginnings of a recovery there but I remain a constant skeptic of weekend action until it passes the Monday open and full volume.   After the holiday closes the Monday action could be like opening the door to find an arctic blast, a very different environment then currently registering on graphs.   Or I could be wrong and markets are not that paniced or disturbed especially by recent world events.   I think we must revise prices I've said it plenty and roughly my target has been 50k which we have mostly achieved.   I need volume in the recovery I think, its not there yet.
well, I think we've got in peak by Monday and onwards. It was likely we are settling down by the weekend seeing the price tried to calm down and move back high again. I also wait for what will happen a few days from now but I expect a surge (not in hype). I could say that the market is calmly moving up and down without any huge factors affecting the trend.
Well, that recovery seems to be going to happen always and that is why I keep myself aware of and not going to miss any chance to buy the dip before the surge begins.
2708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin investment on: November 27, 2021, 11:13:05 PM
I have a few capital and I will like to know the proper token to venture in. Am unused to NFTs and will cherish to induce your supposition on which NFT to purchase for a brief term bas
Personally, it was good to choose NFT projects. Many of them become valuable these days especially for gaming platforms and in fact, many people are already investing (I think you've been late already).
The only thing I could suggest to you is that you never make yourselves in a hurry and never invest in a project/s that hasn't been known to the market and those projects that are in question in regards to its credibility and potentiality coz that somewhat it gives you a sad end.
2709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governments planning a Crypto Crackdown? on: November 27, 2021, 10:39:06 PM
Recently, many governments have been showing increasing animosity against Cryptos. While the US is preparing to launch a Blockchain surveillance plan, other countries such as Sweeden are showing signs of moving towards a crypto crackdown by criminalising mining.

Should we be worried about this?
let these things be done and to see what will happen next. if you were worried and can't afford to hold or invest, maybe it was time to move on and secure your funds before it is going to happen. Because for me, I'm still in faith, and no matter what the government will do just to shutdown crypto, they still never win. This only causes chaos for a better start and huge adoption in return.
And in fact, they have been doing this long-time before but nothing happens and crypto still growing and growing day by day, proven they can control it.
2710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bcgame | site scam on: November 27, 2021, 09:27:01 PM
I checked the Ann Thread and their account seemed to be clean (no red tag). The community will not make a conclusion yet unless you present the evidence and proven it, I suggest you make a scam accusation following the format shared by the user/s above.
2711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 27, 2021, 09:09:21 PM
@Russlenat, I guess putting a bet on the top 3 best contenders would be a good idea, whoever would win this year's coach of the year award would already guarantee a profit as long as you put an even bet. I'm pretty sure one of the top 3 will get that award, but for me, it's likely the coach of the Bulls that will get it.
2712  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamentally good coins on: November 27, 2021, 12:56:31 PM
Which COIN do you think has a long term good fundamental future? Despite the TOP coins, that you think has strong team, model and in long term they will create the value.
Despite the Top Coins there is some coins , i think they have strong and active team and their Roadmap show that they have a bright future.
Refinable is my First choice. They have great future planing in NFt. And NFt trend can give this project very high value.
Kusama is also very high class project. Harmony project is also long term project.
NFT projects are in the mainstream right now, perhaps they are known these days and a good choice for investment but of course, we need to be wise enough as not all are good and reliable projects.
A lot of things need to check first before investing;
1. Team/Involvement
2. Project use-case
3. Market cap

I don't just look at the price but rather look at it's potentiality especially if we are aiming for long-term investnment.
2713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best ways to invest money? on: November 27, 2021, 05:41:48 AM
Observing the current situation, it can be seen that people from different angles have confidence in cryptocurrency and are investing in the market for the future.  As a result, I think investing in the future is a long-term plan for the future.
Investing is now and for the future, not investing in the future so you have to wait longer so you can reap a lot of profit, because every investment is not only about money, but also about time and good opportunities like now.

Good point, investing is a timing. If you can manage to gather the fruit in a much earlier time frame
why bother to wait for long, it's about how good you are in anticipating the situation. Try to assess
the level of risk that you can take and how you can manage to reap, everyone have that equal opportunities
only those who exceed their efforts and time mostly gain decently.
That is why it is very important to know how to analyze the market trend as it considers the basis when to buy. It can't be difficult if we wanted to be sure (at least) that we are investing in the right project and price. Investment is too risky and that it needs to be wise enough to deal with the market otherwise, we just lose and feel mad about the result which is because of our fault.
There is no easy way to understand the market but at least we do something to enhance our chance to make a profit out of the volatility of the market.
2714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 26, 2021, 09:21:02 PM
Let's talk about Kai Sotto, he is now with the Adelaide 36ers, an Australian team. I think this league is more competitive than Japan's B-League.

As we can see, he is already in the roster_ https://www.adelaide36ers.com/players
(wondering why PBA team does not have their own website)
Smiley

So my question is, will he make a name in this competition and improve as a player?

his first game .
They are still playing on a preseason and yesterday the team released a statement about resting Kai for the rest of the preseason so they can prepare this guy and condition himself for the regular season. This can be a big court for Kai to prove his worth and yes this is better compare to Japan B League since Australia is way a better country with regards to basketball ranking.

I hope we can see him play and earn good minutes in the current team. He is given a contract to play, so most likely he will be used by the team. It's time for him to prove to other countries that he is already ripe as a player, his training in the US is intense, he can finally use it in a big competition where big boys are playing. AFAIK, Australian players play physical basketball, he should be ready with it.
2715  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: November 26, 2021, 09:03:24 PM
History says bull trap.  Investors say multiyear bull run.  I think history will likely repeat itself, and maybe has already started ahead of time.  There's no doubt that Bitcoin and to a larger extent crypto is taking off and becoming a mainstream investment.  I have friends I've been trying to get into Bitcoin for over a decade that still have never owned a satoshi, but are now releasing their own NFT collections.  It's pretty crazy, but I'm not sure that any price model has other chains stealing Bitcoin's userbase priced into their models.  As much as I am a 4-year cycle guy, I'm beginning to have my doubts as to whether we'll see the famed $200K next month...  I'm not one to ever count Bitcoin out, but I will admit that my faith is beginning to be questioned.
We would have to see a correction again, bitcoin has reached multiple ATH this year and has already made the market more profitable. You are right, history will repeat itself so we have to be ready for a possible bear market as that means heavy dumps will be witnessed, and as usual, weak hands will panic and sell at a loss.
2716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 24, 2021, 01:07:31 PM
but I think the Warriors will sure win this.

I would go for the spread, -10.5 is not high to cover especially at home, with the Sixers playing the best team in the NBA now with an undermanned line up, I don't see a possibility that they'll be able to compete well, I see this as another blowout win by the Warriors.
2717  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice regarding buying on: November 22, 2021, 09:39:02 PM
Now I don't buy anymore. I bought during the recent drop to 35 k, it was still a good chance, as for me.
But for me there is no way bitcoin can go down again to $35k during this decline, I know the correction now is quite deep but it won't be as severe as I imagined, of course the bounce can definitely come back again and we now only see it as a holiday season where many people need a lot of money.

I'm also a little patient to keep watching and analyzing when to buy at the right time during this decline, if it happened at $35k of course I would put my net.
That to believe that Investing Bitcoin or any coins during the bearish season is absolutely a good idea but the market has never seen it back like that again. I mean, we are still in bullish season, we might wait years to see it in bearish for that we take advantage of every price correction than to wait for the huge dump.
Most of our speculation the market went high until the end of this year. if we have the courage or guts to invest at the current price, it's up to you but if you're not, better to keep it and just wait. It is soon to come, just in needs patient but we don't have to expect too much.
2718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No more long term bear market on: November 22, 2021, 09:14:18 PM
the market looks bearish. remember that most token we saw today were not top 100 last 3 years or 4 years. the current market situation is liable to change. anything can happen. the market is unpredictable. we might fall back to 30,000 USD for bitcoin. anything is still possible. don't think the bull will keep riding just like 2020. I think the bear market will hold for long.
Does the market look bearish? How come? We are even high compared in the past days...
Even though we can see reds on the market doesn't mean that we are in bearish already or that it looks bearish. The market changes always, it comes to green-red and vice versa. Maybe we could only think and say that we are totally in the bearish season when we are at 50% below but still the price is high, that is why it was too far to call it bearish.
2719  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we in a bear trap? on: November 22, 2021, 01:46:59 PM
Usually bitcoin traders react to news well in advance which might have happened this time also; like for expectation of upcoming dump from gtmox refund, traders might have booked profits/exited their positions with the plan of buying back to cheaper price levels and made the recent correction.
I remember by the times of 2018/2019, some whales in reference like gtmox trustee, was continuously dumping big amount of bitcoins and made bitcoin prices to get back to below $10k levels even after bitcoin showed recovery up to $14k levels from the bottom of $3k levels.

But, this time I am sure they could not make similar kind of negative impact into bitcoin market by releasing BTCs; the current recovery from the $55k levels must be an enough proof for that.
Yeah, they can't simply manipulate the market this time as people had learned and know-how these whales take the market to get some favor. If ever this is a bear trap, then let be coz it is not a problem, I'm not selling yet as I just continue to hold until December.
I don't look back to what happened in those days when gtmox hits the market badly. It was just the past, the market sentiment is different from now and also the minds of the investors that is why I have the confidence that we move farther than thinking about of huge decline.
2720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if stop believing about bitcoin ? on: November 22, 2021, 01:00:08 PM
Bitcoin has no physical presence. What if we just stop believing in bitcoin. I mean every country has the equivalent of gold to their fiat. Bitcoin has no gold or physical value. Can this ever happen ?
looking for a coin backed by some kind of asset, stable coins are there for that..bitcoin remains bitcoin. In terms of people stopping believing in bitcoin it could mean another cryptocurrency could take its place because cryptos are here to stay, besides the beauty about these cryptocurrencies its the freedom they accord us which could be expressed by change of interest of another king but for now Bitcoin remains our choice and king of digital coins. .
We can't blame such kind of thinking as not all were able to understand but instead of learning and knowing about Bitcoin more, they even just insist it is only worthless and has no value like gold/fiat. Should a need to give them some light in order to open their eyes and see how it gives benefits to us, to the community? Well, if that is really a need, I think I'm going to do that but somehow, not all are open-minded and have nothing to do with these people but to let them go and let them keep their negative thoughts while we are enjoying the market.
