2701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: September 27, 2016, 03:37:03 PM
Banks got too much influence to dissapear. They are on the sidelines fighting to stop bitcoin's trend. First claiming bitcoin as their enemy but now launching their own blockchain solutions. So yeah with them being so influential I doubt bitcoin can make them dissapear.

Banks are now getting scared that they have a threat and they can see it to bitcoins. And if they aren't going do something about it for sure many clients of the banks are going to shift into using bitcoins. But the chance of making banks disappear by bitcoin is not going to happen. Because the government is not going to allow that.

I would disagree, banks are not threatened  on the existence of bitcoin since they are somehow assured that people  would really use their services and  in fact  banks are just storage and  bitcoin is just a digital currency which theres  no  sense for it  to make banks would disappear. One  thing  is for sure  government  wouldnt allow this thing to happen.

There is no advantage for bitcoin if it takes down banks. And I think bank can coexist with bitcoin. If you take down the bank, then fiat goes out as well. Then you will lose btcusd trading which is a good source of income.

That is correct. Bitcoin really is just an alternative for us the consumers to use it in our online transactions among other features of bitcoin. It is in no way that will replace fiat money completely because bitcoin has a limitation of its production compared to fiat money that seems limitless well, they can produce more but the consequence is inflation. Therefore, bitcoin cannot remove bank but they can coexist together.
2702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 27, 2016, 08:17:36 AM
Wrong for me,  because in gambling,  there is more disadvantage than the advantage. Is so dangerous if you are addicted  of gambling.

If you care enough for your money, you should not gamble, it will be wrong for you, aside from that, it is ironic that in gambling we don't protest even if we already know that there is a advantage in favor of the house... In short, the gamblers are the wrong one, and those who spend too much money in gambling are the most wrong...  Smiley
the problem are not in wrong or not gambling it is ,
every person will have a different point of view / opinion about this ,
the problem are in yourself who cannot responsible ,
gambling are a kind of activity that people hated .
If gambling is really wrong then when you first see it, it is already wrong into your eyes, but the reality does not happen that way, when a certain gambler starts to gamble they considered it as an entertainment but when they lose they called it wrong, that's an unfair judgement from moron.

That is right. Before we even gamble, if we are for the profit, we need to realize that the casino has its house edge advantage and that we are destined to lose when we play longer without any system or strategy in place like that of the professional gamblers. We are not professional gamblers, hence, we only play for entertainment and play only money that we can afford to lose and stop when we reach our limit.
2703  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 27, 2016, 08:14:35 AM
This is going to be very different from person to person. If a person works in a low paying job ant he finds about bitcoin and manages to get work full time on  a crypto project which pays him better, then it makes sense for him to quit his old job and get into the cryto project. On the other hand, if the crypto project which he plans to work doesn't pays him well, then he shouldn't be quitting his day job.
that's true , who the hell want to leave a good paying work for something uncertain?
bitcoin job are suited for a freelancer ,
unless there is a clear job like maintain a mining farm ,
or creating an altcoin project etc ,
you are worth to quit and do that project .

I was guilty of it. I quit my job for bitcoin endeavor like 3-4 months ago. My return after quitting my day job was not even a quarter of my Monthly income. Good thing that I am now working with my clients again and have learned a very valuable lesson to not leave your post when you are not sure enough to where you are going to be.
2704  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2.5 Years in Bitcoin and still holding. on: September 27, 2016, 08:11:17 AM
2.5 years is still kinda short term when it comes to investments. Keep it growing, you'll see its worth.
yeppp 25 years then you can call it as a real investment ,
but so far bitcoin gives me a good experience ,
bought 3 bitcoin in the mid of 2015 price that time are $240 ,
and guess how much money i have made so far(if i keep holding that time)? with current $600 bitcoin price?
$350 x 3 = $1,050 , just keep holding. don't be like me (i sold it at $400)

I agree with you about holding bitcoin for a longer period of time. The best approach here and the most profit are the people that are investing bitcoin for a long term. You can invest in short term like buy low sell high but you need a big amount of capital in order to see some significant return. By the way, your selling of $400 was not bad at all, you still profited on that sell Wink
2705  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: September 27, 2016, 08:08:27 AM
BItcoin is more popular in online market, but for real market (offline) gold is number 1, to get fast growing bitcoin is the best choice
No question about that because the fact says that the estimate user of bitcoin is just less that 1% of the total world population so that would already answer the question, I think there is no person in this world who does not know about gold, if you will ask them of course they will choose gold because that is money for them.

For a very wise investor, he will not limit himself or herself with investing either gold or bitcoin. That wise investor will invest to both gold and bitcoin along with other investment vehicles. Hence, if we can afford it, the best way is to diversify and invest to both bitcoins and gold. However, if your budget is really limited, then it is good to start investing first in bitcoin.
2706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: September 27, 2016, 08:02:47 AM
Well, if you find yourself asking how to quit gambling for good then Your on your way.  Asking that question is the first step to quitting. If you're asking the question, then you must be recognizing that it is a problem for you.  Recognizing that it's a problem, instead of a solution to your problems, will help you seek the support of others who recognize that problem within themselves too.  And, support groups work well with addictive personalities.
We have our own method or technique to quit in gambling but I believe it is hard to implement it if we just do it by ourselves, in this serious situation we need the support of our loves once because they are the once who sees better than us as we are addicted and not thinking the right way.

Yes.  The support of our families is extremely important.  Family is probably the most important factor in understanding that there is a problem.  If you are loosing all your money gambling instead of putting food on the table, then something's wrong and you need to get help.  If gambling is a problem and you love your family, then you will find a way to quit.

I am not really sure if the person who lost more than a thousand bitcoins in betking is really rich or it is his/her retirement funds invested to bitcoins and gambling it to the casino. If that person is extremely rich, then nothing really much to worry but when that person was spending the retirement money, then his/her life must be in a mess at the moment. What I am trying to say is that, even if we are not addicted to gambling and we lost this big, then life will really be a mess.

There's a few regular whales who own their own sites that try to take advantage of other's implementation of the Kelly Criterion.  They do a good job exploiting others sites for the most part, but when they lose, they just use the cold wallets of their own site to hedge the differences. All is not what it seems in this space. But, if it were someone who needed the money, then I would feel bad for them for sure....they need to quit for good.

Wow that makes sense. I just realize that now and yes, that is really close to a possibility. I was thinking that someone very rich man from the middle east were the one who was playing with that amount of money. But really we don't know who that person is - was he/she an ownder of other online casino, a typical shark, or just very rich person.
2707  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: September 27, 2016, 07:53:22 AM
i use bitcoin as both of them,

i use it as currency sometimes to buy some stuff from the internet if they are available to me.

but also my main usage is as an investment that i have bought and kept bitcoin for a long time for profit.

I have bitcoins and earnings from services to clients. The earnings i received from clients are the ones I used to pay fo my bills, buy food for the table, tithe, investing, and other necessary things in life; however, I use bitcoins only for trading altcoins and as bankroll for my sports betting games. I also use some portion of my bitcoins to invest in online casino as well as holding some for decades to come.
2708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 27, 2016, 07:25:51 AM
i think it is a simple money addiction to loss for best time pass for rich category person . so anyone if will became rich than he will gamble and whether he will loss or found he will just enjoy this game .

not anyone i guess because there is a people that don't want to gamble if they were rich. but for me, if i am rich, i only gamble for fun and to enjoy the games and not for the money. no matter if i am loss or win, i still enjoy the gamle.

When that person became rich because of real hard work to reach that pinnacle of success, then i don't think so he or she will easily gamble is hard earned money. Yes, it could be possible that he or she will gamble sometimes for fun with friends but this must be in a very minimal amount of money that can be afforded to lose.
2709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: September 27, 2016, 07:20:30 AM
because you think that it can make you endless money but you actually would lose a lot of money in a short time
this the common idea coming from those very lazy people who loves to earn in a easy ways thinking that they can easily doubled their moeny in such a way of gambling but unfortunately ending it up losing it and feel sorry.
Always gamble what you can afford to lose , with this way you will never get addicted.
People is too greedy make them did not think clearly and just gamble the money more than they have.
This leading to an addiction especially when you lost money , your desire to win it back always there.

A lot of people just blindly chase after their losses and they ended up with even more losses. The nature of greed cost many gamblers to visit the casino frequently even though they know that they cant really win against the casino.

they think that they can win in a gambling but unfortunately they are not win and they only get addicting because gambling is a games with full of entertainment so people will be comeback and spend their money until the last money and this is the factor why gambling is so addicting.
Most gamblers are so optimistic that they can win, and based on my experience I have a friend who just recently learn to gambling in sports betting and he is very curious so he tried but now he is already addicted in sports gambling because he always experiment a method to win, I hope he will be successful.

I guess it is more easier to do some martingale system with sports betting because as you can see, the very favorite team has very high winnings compared to its loses. However, there is a trick in executing martingale system - you have to make it sure that the odd is at least 2x or close to it almost all of the time when you bet otherwise, your martingale betting could may not cover your previous loss even if you win the current game.
2710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you want to become Rich you need to Put Higher bets on: September 27, 2016, 07:12:53 AM
but make a bet on the highest value at risk was really great, because although it can make a profit in a short time, but if you lose, you will lose a lot of money. it may be better to bet with a minimum value
That's true, I would also choose to bet small amount when I play gambling because for me I just gamble for fun and not to gain profit. If I lose then fine and if I win then it is good right? At least I've tried to play and I try my luck.

That is right. We should only use money in gambling that we can afford to lose and not our entire hard earned money. We must always bear in mind that gambling is just for entertainment unless we want to be as our profession. If we have other big source of income then we are good just use a very little portion for gambling if we want just something for fun.
2711  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: September 27, 2016, 07:09:36 AM
as there are very little facilities of using bitcoins as currency, but still i can use it for my mobile recharge but most of the time i use bitcoin as investment and i mostly invest bitcoins in alt coins.

Using bitcoin for investment and trading with other altcoins for me is the best use of bitcoins because that way you are really growing your bitcoins and not using any of it to things that fiat money can be use. Fiat money is unlimited in production while bitcoin has its limitation of terms of its maximum number in the market. We should treat bitcoin as a scarce resource/asset and make it grow.

2713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: September 27, 2016, 06:29:38 AM
Bitcoin cannot make banks disappear.  It CAN and is becoming a high competitor/alternative to fiat.  Reason banks cannot disappear is paper money/fiat has to be printed and can be printed.  BTC has a limit, (sadly) paper is limitless.

That is correct, fiat money paper is limitless and when the government decide on making more paper fiat money, they are creating inflation in the economy but they can really do that compared to bitcoins wherein it will stop producing once it reach 21 million bitcoins. Hence, bank will always be there as long as there are fiat money being made and printed.
2714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gamble small amount i win and when i gamble big i loose. on: September 26, 2016, 07:53:12 PM
Gambling with small amounts is nice but I think its good to try it with big amounts, of course its never sure you will win because its not for nothing called gambling.
You can lose but also win its all in gambling, its risky.
I think sticking with small bets is a good idea, you'll have much more fun. of course in the end you'll lose but you will have so much fun.

That is good for those who gamble for fun, or you can say that is what those people do who are gambling for fun, but the ones who gamble for earning profits has to bet bigger when they lose one bet for recovery purpose, and if they dont increase their bet amount they wont be able to recover what they just lost, and you know, that is the reason why most of the gamblers lose all their money without getting anything, they try to recover and lose everything.

you should only make the size of your bets based on the bankroll you have for example you should have a percentage in mind like 40% or less like 20% to be safer and then no matter how much you have you should only make that percentage of your bankroll so that you always have more chance of recovery and continuation of gambling even if you lose.

That is right. You can also do this by creating more sessions. The more sessions you can have, the more playing time and more chances of you getting lucky. If however, you only play with few sessions or worst just one session, then you just expose yourself to get busted in one session bet. That session may be in just a couple of minutes or even seconds if you are really not that lucy enough.
2715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 26, 2016, 07:50:20 PM
the more rich i would be, the more i would gamble Wink
gambling is FUN.

FUN for richies!
Perfect i like this quote the more richer the more fun to play gambling because it is more fun if we bet high bets and palce with bluff one and you can only do that when you are rich wasting money to win more in short risking more money is absolutely awesome <3
I don't think real rich people do it without thinking their profit because for me the true rich people are not wasting their money in this kind of game. Rich people always value money and save for the better and for another business they will make.

this is true. the reason why they get there is because they value and knows how to make their money work for them. Well, at least to people that are doing all their best and might to get rich. However, there are some instant millionaires out there that just easily throwing money from their pocket through buying expensive and unnecessary equipment and gambling big money without even care of losing them.
2716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 26, 2016, 07:47:23 PM
But I'm very much sure they will start liking bitcoins once they know about all the features, potential and advantages of using bitcoin system. Without knowing them most of the people are hating bitcoins. It seems it is our mistake that we are not educating them about the concepts of bitcoin systems.

We will not be able to educate them about bitcoin system or technology until bitcoins comes infront of them in physical world and then they might start taking interest in it, because if they hate it, it is because they think it is illegal or used by evil people around the world so they wont understand if you just tell them that it is nothing like that, but they should see it practically and then they might start believing in it.
Yes, until people themselves realize the benefits of using bitcoin system, no one will be able to change their habit of hating bitcoin, moreover it has become a psychological effect of hating bitcoin as they would have some reason for hating it. But, once they realize the true facts about bitcoin they will start loving it.

Holders of bitcoins will always look on other ways to earn more and grow their bitcoins. Why? Because of its awesome features. Once an individual will get a hold of it and use it in their online transactions with ease, savings, and convenience, then they will for sure get to fall in love with bitcoins regardless of reasons Smiley
2717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: September 26, 2016, 07:41:23 PM
To quit gambling, you would have to focus your attention in to something else. You can also make yourself real tired before you go home, so once you get home, you're too tired to gamble. You can also drink a lot of beers so all you can think of is sleep. Finding a new hobby would also be good for you. Maybe try to hit the gym like you always wanted? Your choice.

Before we must do something that's makes us busy the we must really have the mindset to quit gambling and we must focus on doing that. Self discipline and a strong focus would really help you and also if you are really want to quit gambling then you could actually do that.
Self-discipline is very important when you play gambling, and we need to discipline also our self of using our money so that you cannot lose all of what you have in your pocket.

That is correct! Discipline plays a vital role in your gambling - it is something that will make you stop when most of the gamblers are suppose to rally on. It is when you cashout when you already have some profit and don't get greedy. It is something that a person stop at certain losses and will not chase their losses. That is discipline in gambling.
2718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 26, 2016, 07:38:40 PM
It would be hard to say gambling is "wrong" when everyone basically gambles with something on a daily basis. You get behind the wheel, it's a gamble, you get on a plane, it's a gamble, you go to the movies and see something you haven't seen before, it's a gamble.. You might end up having hated the movie and just wasted your money, no different than the Casino.

I speak from experience, I play blackjack as my hobby.

That is really good for you. This is what I am talking about players that can gamble with ease because of their experiences with gambling. They capitalize on their experiences as to seeing the odds and knowing when to fight and run. That is supposed gambling should be look at - just play safe, have some fun, and always play only the money that you can afford of losing.
2719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: September 26, 2016, 07:34:28 PM
Nope, gambling  can't be a sickness at all lol. At the first place it is made for people to enjoy and release some stress the problem there if you do not gamble for moderation then you really are sick
That's true, because gambling is really a game that can entertain us and for me that is not really a sickness. Sickness are cold, cough, flu or even addiction in gambling is a sickness, so for me addiction in gambling is a sickness and not "gambling".

Gambling is for fun. When you are not planning to be a professional gambler and spend most of your time gambling, then just play it for fun, period! Otherwise, your life will really be a miserable. Why? because the odds will always be against in your favor especially when you are just new to gambling and you don't have some good approach and strategies when gambling.
2720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit Gambling. on: September 26, 2016, 07:32:14 PM
Hello guys I am addicted to gambling. How can I quit this?
simply make your interest in anything that is helpful to earn money in btc you can do trading in btc . in this way yiur mind will.remain in busy schedule of earning not in gambling ways .
Yeah right, stop gambling and concern ourselves with other means such as trade is very precise. That will keep us busy in the trade and forgot to gamble so we could get out of gambling. But to do that there must also be the intention of the self to get out of gambling.
If you want to quit gambling and also you need to make money from Bitcoin. Then do trading or Invest in trusted caisnos. Then your mind will be diverted. And make your day busy with other work. Don't make any free time. If you get free time, then I am sure you will open casino site. So if you make your life busy with other work, then it is easy to come out from gambling.

This is true. Don't make your life or add stress to your life. Try to make it easy. Because when you gamble, it will really be stressful most of the time because you will always be encountering losses because of the casino house edge. Hence, try to make it easy by just investing to reputable casinos that way, the house edge will be in your favor in the long run.
