2721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: July 19, 2022, 11:15:35 AM
So Teo Lopez is back, after the humiliating lost against George Kambosos, he is making his comeback, but this time he has move up in weight. He will be fighting a dangerous and experience boxer in Campa next month.
Teofimo lost that fight because he was fighting like crazy, but the Teofimo who fought with Loma and previous rivals, would have clearly beaten Kambosos. Another reason was his health challenge. According to reports, he had air around his heart that made it difficult for him to breathe properly. The doctors confirmed it. López will make history again in the 140. Canpa doesn't even stand a chance.

Good thing we will see him soon taking another challenge to prove himself once again because when boxers suffer some serious injuries, they sideline and they will not be the same as they were before especially when it comes to dominating their opponents. Let's just hope he really will dominate Campa in the early rounds until he knocks him out because taking the fight to the last round will be risky for him since he is just getting back to fight after he hid first lost.
2722  Other / Politics & Society / Re: After Putin on: July 19, 2022, 10:46:00 AM
You sure took your time to research all of this and honestly, it's my first time to know that Russia has been defeated by the Afghan force back then. I think Putin will be there for a long because he has all the resources he needs to be immune to those who wanted to take him out. remember the guy still has the switch that can change the history of human civilization because when he is really out of his mind, he might be triggered to test one of those nukes in some major city in Ukraine, and may god forbid him from doing so because no one really cares for the victim by that time because the risk for the rescuer by that time, will be enough for them to stop helping the civilians.
2723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People are not only gambling to win but they are buying entertainment on: July 18, 2022, 02:40:17 PM
This is true, although the average gambler has the goal of making money from gambling, there are also many gamblers out there who gamble only for their entertainment. btw, I once met a poker expert, I saw him every day playing poker, he said playing poker was only to hone his skills and also it was his pleasure not to win the money on the table. His answer made me quite surprised.

In this world, you always find those kinds of people who have some rare motives why they're doing the things they really like to do. some have motivations that you don't seem to hear from someone else. seems like whatever reasons they have, as long as they're enjoying what they're doing, it keeps them steadfast even though the resulting outcome is not pleasing to them. Maybe when the time comes they realized it was really mistaken, they will not hesitate to stop and move to another hobby.
2724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is leading the market to a monthly high... on: July 18, 2022, 12:48:02 PM
Though the increase was not high enough to cover the cost of the loss over the last months, this is one the good indications that the market is not dying rather investors are really there just waiting for the right time to invest when the price is low and they're just making sure to make some profit in their investment, especially in this kind of scenario where bull runs aren't really possible to come.
2725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 18, 2022, 12:16:25 PM
So the last breed of those Filipino champions that they have right now. Donaire is already out and could retire and Donnie might be the next one. Although he was shadow by his compatriot, but he is one of those solid PH champions. Anyhow, at 40 years old, let's see, Ioka is not younger as well, but obviously less wear and tear and it will be held in his hometown, so it might be very tough for Donnie. So I would say, Ioka by split decision in a very close fight.

Looks like he goes to retire after this fight after holding one of the longest record holders in their division. another Japanese vs Pilipino fight, it would be the best fight for both countries since not long ago Donaire lose to Inoue, both fans really want to see some exciting fight because what they saw in that fight was short and they want to see a real battle and explosive clash in the ring this time. In Donnie will lose here, then it's the time for the Japanese to make names for themselves in the boxing industry, it's likely their time has come to dominate every weight division as well.
2726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My old officemate become millionaire on investing on Bitcoin on: July 18, 2022, 11:38:42 AM

Right now. He is planning to buy back at lower price level and use the half of his earnings to start his new business. He is planning again to have another 5 to 10 years Bitcoin investment after he buy back. I will try to get an update about his business and post it here to inspired other new Bitcoin investor. Hold is really powerful strategy isn’t it?

Looks like he has some good opportunities since the price today is low and he can take the first step to but bitcoins and gonna hold it for the years to come. along with his business plan, I'm sure he won't gonna need the funds in his crypto wallet because the money that his business brings to his home will gonna be enough for him to survive and might be more than that. Anyway, we heard countless stories of holders, especially those who hold for the long-term, they are really one of those who gonna maximize their incomes.
2727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 18, 2022, 11:02:58 AM
Saw some article rumor just recently that it's likely that Westbrook will be traded to Spurs while Kyrie to replace him in Lakers.

It seems that you're saying is really possible to happen but until it's official and there's not yet actual statement, it should remain as a rumor. But yeah, it's very likely that he'll be traded if the Lakers decides.

There really is nothing he can do if he'll be traded then.

Looks like he will gonna go somewhere and he should really go because the Lakers fans don't like the guy and if he is still in the Lakers in this upcoming season, it would be the same result for them, they will gonna struggle to sync their play together and with the other teams are drastically improving, they won't a chance to get to the NBA finals or might not get to the NBA playoffs anymore. They really need to fix their roosters while they have the chance because they cannot miss the opportunity they have these days for the upcoming season are hard than the last one because some injured star players are more likely to return.
2728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there Launchpads that charge a fee? on: July 18, 2022, 10:44:05 AM
Not sure if the title explains it, but I've been tasked with finding a launchpad for our project that charges money but so far, I find all those crazy requirements and no talk about money at all, for us, it'd be easier to pay a fee and work on our project gradually than try to fix everything before being allowed into a launchpad or any similar platform...

If you do not intend to change anything in your project, then you can independently list on a decentralized exchange. But in this case, you will need to independently bear the costs associated with the promotion of your project, which will be difficult to do without qualified management.

They really need some sacrifice because successful projects came from the team that already paid some huge amount of cash for their promotions because you need to work on promoting your project before the actual launch and it really requires a insane amount of money cause you need to pay for everybody involves promoting it. Most of the time when the project is competitive enough to make it to the crypto market, it also needs to be promoted to other social media as well as some crypto communities like this one.
2729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 16 on: July 17, 2022, 12:37:14 PM
Davis has the power and Ryan is impressive with his speed. They really need to face each other now and stop fighting the boxers below them. If Ryan can carry out his timing and speed against Davis he will likely win their match. The kid is impressive with his precise jabs against Fortuna. But if they are not going to make this Davis vs Garcia happen, boxing will just be a gag and easy win to bet for the crowd's favorite

Unlike the old times, when they will rush the fight between the current best boxers in any weight division, nowadays they will gather as much income as they want from fighting the low-class boxer first until they try to risk their fighter on their rightful opponents. This is a good tactic especially when it comes to making money but for us spectators, it's really boring and no fun anymore because we don't see the usual clash we always saw back then in the sport of boxing.
2730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Luna Classic - Thoughts? on: July 17, 2022, 11:13:16 AM
Seriously? they are making money out of the people like you because they will more likely pump and dump that coin after they see some huge move from buyers and they will gonna dump it at once. Too good opportunity for the risk takers but these people know exactly what they will gonna do once they see some sign with the price movement and they might win or lose in their investment but they already know it. As for normal investors who think this coin will gonna have a bull run one day, it's a total delusion because this is not the right coin to have that feature.
2731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's faceless identity is the greatest Bitcoin success strategy on: July 17, 2022, 10:48:51 AM
They cannot mimic whatever innovations they have in their minds when it comes to bitcoins because their idea of decentralization always ended up with centralization which is really bad for the investors whenever some anomaly happened with their devs and the altcoins creator itself. Bitcoins haven't had these features and you all have all the means of control because there's no entity that can control it or automatically lock it from withdrawing which is the best thing you could ever have for a cryptocurrency.
2732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 15, 2022, 02:40:54 PM
Miami Heat are very determined to trade Kevin Durant now. Durant also seems to be willing to leave Nets at the earliest opportunity now. He has been given the priority for being traded as well. Irving might have to wait for this to happen before he asks for his trade. Losing both of their stars would be too heavy for Nets I'm afraid. As a Durant fan my new favourite team are going to be the one where goes to.  Grin  It is likely to be Miami Heat for now seemingly.

No matter where he goes if he doesn't get the type of support he wanted, the team he is in will gonna have a hard time catching up to the NBA playoffs and Miami Heat should really take care of bidding to get him because he hasn't been the same like how he used to be because he is now prone to injuries. The heat has some tremendous games last season and if not for the injuries, they could have instead gotten to the NBA finals. Durant should consider giving some opportunities to his teammates to create strong chemistries and to give them chance to further improve.
2733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin recover even if it fell to one dollar? on: July 15, 2022, 01:59:00 PM
There are so many people waiting at the sideline to buy in it would be nearly impossible to drop that low.

If it would happen there will be probably some major malfunction in Bitcoin itself and probably means it’s over and won’t recover

It would create a flock of buyers even if the price will not go down that low because investors are just waiting for right now to buy low and they patiently do not rush to buy right now because the uncertainty of the price getting higher is pretty low. now if the price will go even that lower, I think the price will gonna rise not long after that scene because everyone has the same vision to think bitcoins will gonna recover after some years to come. So in conclusion it might be possible but it will gonna recover anyway.
2734  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto lender Celsius files for bankruptcy in New York on: July 14, 2022, 11:11:18 PM
How many more examples do we need to understand the problem of centralisation, custodial services, etc? It's hard to me to understand how people keep falling for these schemes over and over again, after so many examples we've been seing. And it's not only in crypto. Banking system is thhe same crap. We keep being bombarded wit corruption and bankrupcy examples.

Maybe the hype of getting some decent percentage from their assets got them pretty good that's why they quickly jump whenever something like this is offered to them without realizing how much will cost them if something goes wrong as we've seen right now. As they said, this scenario is just merely drama and the truth behind this is yet to uncover, who knows maybe they already managed to keep some pretty amount of cash and secured it before they filed bankruptcy. we cannot truly understand how this works until they give us straightforward and transparent about their reasons for bankruptcy.
2735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT drops profitable? on: July 14, 2022, 10:06:25 PM
I see lots of NFT companies are doing their best to attract investors at their early stage by giving them low prices and for me, it's just too much risk unless it came from known developers Facebook, or other trusted sources. But when I got some offers from random NFT groups, I won't consider it profit because NFT can also get hype first and after that, no one cares about the NFT you current holding anymore because it's just for that day to sold high and you fell for it. Random NFTs are not something that you can put your money on because nowadays to create one those are pretty easy except for the legit ones.
2736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 14, 2022, 03:41:55 PM
If there's no rule that will make it illegal, you cannot say it's toleration. Players has the rights as well, that's why they have a contract, and as long as their action does not violate the contrat, it's always legal but not every legal is acceptable in the eyes of the fans and the organization.

Their contract only seems good for players and that's all that it matters because they cannot be enslaved by the team when the time comes their no longer feel welcome anymore. That's why when Zion Williamson was not playing and rumors came out that he is getting fat and not getting some workout he usually does when he was healthy, the New Orleans Pelicans doesn't scold him or anything because they are completely aware the guy will request for trade when his peaceful place became toxic. The teams know about this before they finalize the player's contract. is just they wanted to gamble because if things work out, it will mean huge money for them.
2737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware wallet demand increases in 2022 bear market as exchange scramble on: July 14, 2022, 02:22:00 PM
As the 2022 bear market persists, crypto exchanges announce losses in revenue such as coinbase and binance.
A Hardware crypto wallet firm LEDGER has announced the highest shipment of its hardware wallet in 2022, amid the present bear market the CEO Pascal Gauthier went further during an interview with coin telegraph that the 2022 bear market has a heavy impact on centralized exchanges since users of those exchanges are moving funds off the exchange because of the fear losing they funds and optioning to store them on a hardware wallet where they have control of the private keys this results into the increase in the demands of the ledger hardware wallet presently.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/hardware-crypto-wallet-sales-increase-as-centralized-exchanges-scramble

Looks like people are most likely preparing for long-term investment and at the same time, they want to hold it for themselves and not trust any 3rd party exchanges to secure their funds. This is obviously a courageous act and an intelligent work from this year's investor because, with the news of continuous phishing and hacking going on, you should consider keeping your crypto assets as safe as possible to avoid tragedic loss which is to get victim by those hackers where their techniques are always updated and who knows maybe one day, the exchanges you're keeping your coins with will get the hack.
2738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: July 14, 2022, 01:48:01 PM
There was a boxing match where you can easily see the fight was fixed and I believe it's on youtube if you want to watch here is the link.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_-C4Sk6EHw&ab_channel=LucaTiberiu

In the boxing match, you can easily see the sign whenever they fixed the fight and you can see that the boxer who is losing is hardly making any moves to win the fight, he just right there waiting for his opponent's punches to land on his face and get knockout easily. But the other sports like basketball, it is really hard to detect because it seems like the losing team has just some bad day they're not getting their usual shooting percentage but in reality, they deliberately took some low percentage shots to lose the game.

2739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It looks like the bad guys have struck again on: July 14, 2022, 01:15:05 PM
The news is all over, from what I read, the token was sent to users, they're told to click on a link to claim the token, due to the excitement they obey the order and click so the malware can then get their details which maybe they submitted to claim the funds. These days, greed is the easiest means of taking people's funds on the ecosystem.

It seems like the tactic of the scammer is pretty easy and the people who became a victim was too excited to get their so-called free coins which end up in an unforgettable bad moment in their life. Though their security is high, if the users don't aware of the phishing techniques like this, they are more likely prone to the attackers and they don't have any idea how quickly the hackers get their crypto assets as soon as they took the bait which is the malicious files or link sent by this impostor hacker.
2740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 13, 2022, 10:44:12 PM

Yes, there's a chance that this fight between Spence Jr. and Crawford could end into a draw but I think the chance is just slim because I'm also confident that only one of them will remain undefeated at the end of the day. Not sure though if it will be Spence Jr. or Crawford even if it will be a full 12-round fight, the judges will still give a call on who will be the hailed undefeated that night.

To be honest I don't see them gonna reach the last round and their victory will be decided by the judges scorecards because that would be no fun at all unless one of them dominated the other to win a unanimous decision. Since both fighters are capable of winning a knockout, the fans will gonna be crazy to cheer their favorite boxer once they clash inside the ring. I doubt Crawford will ever back down once he gauges Spence's punches because he can take it and when he does, either one of them will go down cause Spence will also unleash his power to the max.
