sill sittin on my 128 coins...

Good for you Smiley

I never had that much ... I was wondering can Bitcoin price drop again to 1$ to buy as many as I can ... but perhaps it will never drop to that price Tongue just like impossible..

Keep HODLING!

a friend of mine had some oders on btc-e around 100ish.. just in case.. and boy that paid quite few btcs when that flash crash happened.. ^^

Your friend was hoping for a fast crash then a recovery?

I bet it's commun to create a few orders way below the present price, just in case, you don't have to follow the market everyday and you get your coins when the market meets your prices

I like how this is turning out so far. Might invest tomorrow if it continues to progress.

New round is supposed to be on Wednesday

I don't see why 125.. couldn't do it on Tuesday

If you learned how to do automatic payouts after 1confirmation you wouldn't need to be in front of your computer; next round promise to be fun because you will be using blockchain and you will do the first payouts very quickly after 1confirmation so everyone reinvest quickly

2726  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: April 13, 2014, 11:24:17 PM
we already reached it once, we'll do it again Smiley
We reach this but after reaching this figure we have many scams and too much rumors just because of this now its in trouble and now touching lowest levels in last few months

yes, but sooner or later we'll get out of the crysis and start reaching new heights..
Every day we have bad news as few days back pmtocoins out now cryptorush and many countries thinking to ban this then how can you say we have some good news in near future

There has been bad news, mtgox, and bad news from China but there has also been good news that have been diluted in the bad sentiment over Bitcoin; we don't know what news will arrive but it may be good news. I think the best news for Bitcoin would be the USD currency crisis that is overdue

BTC at 1,000,000$ :

2727  Economy / Speculation / Re: Over 70BTC bet that Bitcoin will be $10,000 by end of 2014 on: April 13, 2014, 11:20:37 PM
Let me remind you guys, once Bitcoin reach ATH of 31 USD, then it crashed and took nearly 2 years to regain that mark. We might need another 2 years or even more just to reach $1000 again. $10000 this year seems to be unrealistic at current situation.
That would be wonderful. More time to accumulate coins, way more net worth once it does shoot up.

Exactly but it was a very different time; people have heard about Bitcoin they will buy more when the financial crisis will hit the US and Europe

Reaching 10,000$ this year is possible but I would estimate the probability today at 4-5%; 3-4000$ on the other hand...
2728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your wallet balance? on: April 13, 2014, 11:17:48 PM
I have a 10BTC goal in 2014 (check my previous posts). I'm 1/3 of the way there and 9 months to go.

I'm hoping that the price continues to dip. Bought .8 @ 390.

If it goes low enough I'll satisfy my 10BTC goal pretty quickly.

10 BTC seems like a pretty good amount to aim for, good luck€!

Thanks! I would have another .25BTC but lost that trading on Cryptsy.

So going forward my 10BTC goal will come from 3 places:

1) buying some when the price dips (without my wife getting mad at me)
2) selling things on ebay and trading that extra income for BTC
3) telling family that I would like ALL gifts this year to simply be BTC

This should get me to 10BTC. Slow and steady.

I think it is a very realistic goal if the price doesn't spike up too much soon, we are still in a down trend right now but things can change quickly

If the price goes up, you gain from the btc you have and if it dips you get to buy more btc

Exactly. You are 100% right. I have more than enough $ to buy 7 BTC right now, and then Id be at 10BTC, and it wouldn't cramp my lifestyle.

The problem is:

1) I have a mortgage
2) I have student loans
3) I have a wife who shuts me up every time I bring up the subject of Bitcoin.

1) + 2) +3) means I have to buy a little here and a little there slowly over time. Hopefully the price goes lower so I can jump in and grab my 7 remaining BTC and not risk the possibility of missing the boat!

200$/month buys you 6BTC in a year at today's rate Smiley

If I only had like 3 BTC I would really thing about some aggressive Martingale Gaming Style on some Dice Site.
All or nothing!

Actually: When I had 4 BTC i managed to get up to 16 BTC but then eventually I lost all. The hard part is to know when to stop.

That sounds like sound financial advice.  Have you considered becoming a financial advisor? /s

Haha gambler's advice are to be taken with a grain of salt
2729  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 13, 2014, 11:12:44 PM
There is only one flow it can take in the Bitcoin economy and that is from the sucker to the scammer.
The best definition of free market capitalism, ever.

When the sc.ammers are in power the sucker lose more, people complain about the private companies fixing markets but the FED is fixing the market rate and the USD

2731  Economy / Speculation / Re: Over 70BTC bet that Bitcoin will be $10,000 by end of 2014 on: April 13, 2014, 10:27:14 PM
Wouldn't be better for the 10k believers just hodl then sell at 20X profit, instead of bet then win way less than 20x?

Aren't you silly now are you? Bet is paid out in bitcoins. So instead of 1 bitcoin you get 5, at 100x profit. See?

You bet a week after the bet went up so you would probably make a lot more than x5 since you would be making x4 betting now if no one else bet and the bet has been up for 4months

If you bet no and lose you lose 10,000$ if you bet no and win you win way less..

Its good way to increase posts you are member of PD campaign and doing marketing for Ritz and giving link for this site keep up good luck for your this work

I edited I am not talking about RGC but it is allowed to talk about other casinos and advertise PD and I wasn't saying RGC is better

You don't have the correct signature code : your signature is too small so you won't get paid April 17th and your sentence is extremely badly written

2735  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Fucking Ponzi's and the idiots that buy into them + List of Shills on: April 13, 2014, 10:13:45 PM
People should be allowed to have free choice but those sc.amming should be ostracised; allowing newbies to post ponzis games is too dangerous because they don't care about being ostracised thus my idea of a ponzi section where newbies can't post threads
When a ponzi owner invested time to become a Jr member here he is less likely to run away with the money; at least he is less likely to run away immediately

You should do something with your life.
You are going nowhere.

Wow, so many insults! 270 posts for nothing to spread the misery

When everyone knows that Ponzi is a Ponzi, it is not Ponzi.

Ponzi require lying to people about what they are putting they money into.

This is just another weird lottery, lest ones are going to lose.
Why does a ponzi require lying? Check the ponzis around here, they're honest about being ponzis. You get paid based on other people's investments, that's how a ponzi runs. The last person that invests loses his money. That being said, most ponzis ( all ) run away with people's money when they've made enough.

Yes and that is the biggest problem

It could be fixed by not allowing newbies to create new ponzis or having escrows, ponzicoin tried escrow then the ponzi shut down
Thing is you can't force them to be legit, just like the ponzi owners can't force anyone to invest. If people don't use ponzis - they will disappear, if people use them - they'll stay. Let people do whatever they want, at their own risk.

I am not in favor to forbid ponzis games; drugs are horrible but the war on drugs makes it even worse..
I think a few disclaimers and a layer of protection for newbies would be improving the ponzi experience
2737  Economy / Speculation / Re: $300 or $800 next? on: April 13, 2014, 08:34:47 PM
My arbitrary long term trendline says $288 today and $800 in 5 months, so $300 comes first Tongue

We have seen pretty close to 300 though but I think we will get into the low 300s territory maybe after a few more bull traps before we spike up
2738  Economy / Speculation / Re: Over 70BTC bet that Bitcoin will be $10,000 by end of 2014 on: April 13, 2014, 08:31:39 PM
Someone bet?

You can bet until 19-11-2014, I am bullish on Bitcoin but getting +15% is the price is less than 10,000$ is a no brainer, the odds will change; do they do a weighted bet?

Weighted bet is the multiple of the bet sum and the number of minutes left before betting deadline. It is used for payoff calculations in order to promote early betting for higher payoffs.

This one seemed easy : https://betcoiner.com/bet/?bid=43
2739  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Cloud mining official page*** on: April 13, 2014, 08:28:21 PM
All you need to know about CEX.IO

The price of GHS is constantly down-trending, which means that a buy and hold strategy will result in a loss of investment.

The holder of GHS is therefore expected to day trade their holding by second guessing market moves, which is unlikely. Anyone professing to have profited from day trading on CEX.IO is either a liar, extremely lucky (mean reversion will soon sort them out) or a CEX.IO shill.

CEX.IO latest gambling wheeze is a “futures contract”. Well, it isn’t a futures contract because you cannot take a short position. It is in fact a forward contract where you have to guess the price of GHS one or two month’s ahead and are then locked into taking delivery at whichever price you buy at.

For CEX.IO to call it a futures contract suggests that they do not know anything about financial contracts and are scam artists.

Not that the kids using CEX.IO will care. They will all gamble away their Bitcoins either on CEX.IO or some other gambling platform.

Read through this entire thread. Anyone extolling the virtues of CEX.IO is always short-lived. Today's extollers will be next month's no-shows.

I buyed 250 GHS and realise he mines only with 16%,  84% goes for costs to cex where is logic!!!!!

U loose money 100% take calc in hand!

The price has been holding up for 3weeks

The fees will go down in B terms if B price goes up but the 84% figure seems like a lot, can you confirm?
