2721  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Q2 2020 Performance - Price Gained 78% from March's Plunge on: July 06, 2020, 11:54:50 AM
~

This is common and was expected due to the Bitcoin Halving. Some were also expecting that price to be maintained until the end of the year. Some (most daily traders and newbie investors) find it a disadvantage as it will not increased more than it's ceiling price (which is approx $10,000+) at the end of the year or even up to years to pass, hence forcing them to hold and invest in the long run (not unless he's a professional trader). Overall, the 78% increase isn't really that drastic enough to reach it's highest price on all time ($20,000+).

thanks for your help. I already tried the exact same method you suggested but didn't succeeded. maybe it's the simulators fault, I don't know. But I need to simulate first with a high number of games before I'll try it in the real game.
scripts are allowed, why are you not fond of it? I know every script can bust and no one is flawless, I'm just intrigued. It's crazy though that there are no tutorials on how to write a script for this game.

I guess I'm not really fond of automating games, it just ruins the entertainment. Yet for some reasons, I now find it amusing that I could use my knowledge and skills in programming and I think that would be a much valuable entertainment for me. And yes it was the simulators fault in that case. The algorithm was right as I've read it numerous times just to see where could be the fault.

There would really be no tutorials writing a bot script as it only tolerates people whom only seeks "source code" than to learn algorithms by themselves lol.
2723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skipping games in Bustabit V2. How? on: July 05, 2020, 07:04:08 PM

I think you should limit your first code attachment from
Code:
        if (lostGames >= 3) {
to....
Code:
        if (lostGames >= 1) {

and edit the inner code from

Code:
            waitXgames = 0;
            if (lostGames == 3) {
                skip = skip1;
            }
            if (lostGames == 4) {
                skip = skip2;
            }
            if (lostGames == 5) {
                skip = skip3;
            }
            if (lostGames == 6) {
                skip = skip4;
            }
            if (lostGames == 7) {
                skip = skip5;
            }
            if (lostGames >= 8) {
                skip = skip6;
            }
and rather change the inner if statements with lostgames == 1, 2, so on and so fort.

This isn't really my programming language yet I've only answered base on what my guess that the algorithm would work fine. I'm not really fond of using scripts nor tolerate the use of it in such games yet I hope that solves the problem. If there would be an error, I guess you should rather move the topic on Development and Technical discussion (though I think it's only for Bitcoin's dev-related topics, I guess they could give huge help.)

2724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Odds comparison on: July 05, 2020, 10:38:08 AM
So how would they calculate the odds, by other website and its user's predictions or by other websites and it's own predictors? Nevertheless, one thing or the other, I still think we shouldn't follow nor tolerate the use of such "chance and odds calculator" as there might be some users whom would rather follow those odds than to make them use their logic and critical thinking in putting a bet on a certain team in a game.

I'm agree with this as I also aren't fond of using such calculators. Based on my experiences, I've seen a lot of user's that lost upon basing of their bets and following those kind of predictions. Meanwhile, I've also lost some as I tried doing the same. Therefore, my stand is with you yet we cannot blame other users that keep their basis on such betting odd platforms, as what Russlenat had been said:
No, that platform was just showing the odds from different site, your chances to win solely depends on capability in choosing a team to win.
Better odds will just give you better return, that's it, nothing more.

As you can see in the OP, there are 5 sportsbook which has betting odds differences, that odds are the actual odds from the respective sportsbooks, it was just summarized in this site so we can see a picture of comparison and we can choose the best odds if we like.

Indeed, it only shows that were based on various gambling/betting platforms. Yet, Shimmiry asked whom dictates such odds on those certain sportsbooks, are they the users, analyst, or calculated based off on the bets and certain algorithms? Odds really is just a statistical chance and numerical illustration of whom has the greater hand in the game, but real researches of current situations would really give you higher chances of winning.

2726  Economy / Reputation / Re: Betking.io New Project ??? on: July 04, 2020, 12:39:28 PM
AFAIK pppoker is legit. I haven't tried playing it but I have seen my friends playing it and advertising it through their profiles online. I don't know if there's an incentive if they manage to make their own clubs with many members, maybe there is.

Looks the domain is real coming from betking and advertising his club as an advantage using the database of registrants through betking, if you trust him, you can join his club but if you don't, look for elsewhere that you trust more.

PPPoker is indeed legit. I've played it several times with my friends and I had issues yet. But what bothers me is that after reading this:
On a side note, for you info betking.io has partnered with one of the reputed gambling sites bitsler. They have refunded all the account which had their criteria(Maximum- $200). You can check more here- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5241045.0

... and checking the link, I'd seen his profile having trust flags that was too alarming.

If the makers of BetKing has something to do or had cooperated with pppoker, I might consider stop using the game. I'd rather choose other gambling platforms than risk on something that might have connection with a scam project. Also, them sending you an email is still alarming as well, whether if it is for promotion of other project or not. It must be deleted in their database, yet somehow it was still used. (in which they can still have your credentials as well...)

I think why their bonuses went to so many errors is that they haven't read the Bonuses Terms and Conditions

I've been browsing the new UI of fortunejack and here's what I've found seemingly wrong:

INTERFACE BUG 1
The bonus terms and conditions seems to have a little font error in Miami Garage t&c no. 1.
See the link here: https://fortunejack.com/faq/bonus_tnc

INTERFACE BUG 2
The bonus terms and conditions seems to have a little character error in Misc and other significant terms, in term #6 in the middle of the word 'between' and 'different'
See the link here: https://fortunejack.com/faq/bonus_tnc

INTERFACE BUG 3
The complaints page only show FAQs
See the link here: https://fortunejack.com/faq/complaints

INTERFACE BUG 4
The FAQs page's FAQ button have different font used
See the link here: https://fortunejack.com/faq/faq

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TYPE OF BUG 1
The FAQ button had an error on first click (I tried hitting CTRL+Click on the button to open it in new tab), then the 2nd try was a success redirecting me to the support page, then the 3rd were error again, so on and so fort. Odd clicks goes to authorize error, even clicks goes to the right page.
See the link here: https://fortunejack.com/faq/faq | my auth error link | the success link

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TYPE OF BUG 2
The support page after correct redirecting on FAQ button seems to not using my logged in account in FJ. Shouldn't it be already logged in?

2729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Potential Valorant Esports betting sites on: July 03, 2020, 12:13:28 PM
Valorant, just seen this game's gameplay on youtube which is similar to battlefield game like COD but I don't like it too much to be honest because this just same as other existing games.Maybe this game also will get popular due to its light weight layout model.

Do they have official tournaments? This will make them more popular than tournaments conducted by random websites.

Many are conducting tournaments in Valorant, whether it's "official" or not. It can be done by a lot of gaming companies and even small time group of gamers, especially amidst this pandemic, which would make online tournaments be their only options. It is already hot on the gaming community and a lot of stucked-in-pandemic gamers are trying Valorant and enjoying it, hence no wonder it was already popular the day it was released.

In my own opinion, Valorant wouldn't be adopted that early by gambling platforms. Even Fortnite nor Apex Legends had limited to none betting activites, yet only famous in tournaments and streaming platforms. I guess the reason why it is rare to have bets in such games is that they are just rip-offs of the famous CSGO. If they would have a feature that would be unique in their game, they might have a chance to be addicted by most of people.

For me, Valorant is just the same as CSGO with just different graphics and styles, but the gameplay is just the same..
2730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some college students in Alabama bet money to see who gets COVID19 first on: July 03, 2020, 10:53:05 AM
A very strange and unusual method, which nevertheless takes place.
For me, all this would have seemed harmless if all the participants in the party were self-insulated in the same place for a month.

LOL it so ironic that they threw party yet still seemed that it can be harmless with self-quarantine? They did it for a purpose (a selfish and stupid one). Hence they would just participate for money but rather a death wish. Even detaining yourself for a month wouldn't be useful, the virus would only kill you (dumb thing that they chose money and death)...

With their lives, they can do whatever they want, and besides, we all will have to get Covid.
However, after each such party, these idiots will probably come in contact with dozens and hundreds of other people, which is extremely socially irresponsible behavior.

Please don't say such thing. They had chosen death, but not everyone. Please don't curse us saying "we all will have to get Covid.". Those Alabama students is evil, so please don't be like them lol.. But yes, after their said party, there would be another months to years of investigation and contact tracing required or just make a mandatory mass testing inside Alabama..

IMO, Alabama must be on hard-lockdown (or martial law if necessary). If they really want to end the pandemic in their region, better that they would implement strong ordinances and laws. Soon, it will only be a drastic yet unseen massacre.

Did they really gambled with life? Most devilish idea in history..
2731  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitpay scam? on: July 02, 2020, 11:56:40 PM
Thank you for replies.
I have hardware wallet and i sent the btc from the hardware wallet to bitpay wallet to buy something.
At that  time there was a problem with their connections and after 3 hours where i connected
the btc were gone.Why there was not notification in my email that someone connected to my id
from different device?

This is the set of questions that needed to be answered first before making a valid/legit accusation against an online wallet:
  • Have you really redirected to original Bitpay website?
  • Does it have SSL[1] indicated on the link after you've visited it's website?
  • Did you really entered correct credentials on the website?
  • Is it really their connection or yours, that had a problem?
  • Is the device you've used in opening their website is secured with updated anti-virus software and doesn't have any malware applications installed?
  • Have you think your security in your side is strong enough for hackers/thieves to have difficulties entering?

There are still a lot of open ended questions before accusing such website especially their transaction system. Better answer such queries first so we can prove and support you.

SSL is like this:

2732  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to obtain merit on: July 02, 2020, 01:40:16 PM
Besides the references provided on this (and 100 similar threads), one can always resort to observing what type of posts are being merited, and derive a general idea from that observation (see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats=recent for example). The idea is not to copy anyone’s style, but rather to get a feeling of what is actually being merited on the forum, and from there, abstract an idea lead by example.

This is the best suggestion I had seen so far in how to gain merit. Most of newbies and even any ranks were having a hard time gaining merit, yet the real sense of merit in their mindset is absent. Recently for the last 120 days, I have received approx 43 merits not because I imitated how other people posted (its ideas and formatting style), but rather I've changed my mindset in what unique idea and helpful knowledge could I offer the Bitcointalk community. In that sense, I've learned that merits aren't given because of your being active, joyful, and kind on the forum, but rather because of the distinct approach/notion towards every post and/or replies a user make.

PS: I've seen that most replies here are common. No doubt why such comments are repetitive, because the main thread's idea is redundant as well...
2733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BPlay Gaming site Platform [Binance Collaboration] on: July 02, 2020, 12:29:04 PM
First time hearing about BPlay. Might check them out sometime later since Binance did allow a Collab with them, and I doubt Binance would collab with a bad gambling site. Still, it seems like they only have a small arrangement of games at the moment. Haven't seen much people reviewing about them so I might actually wait for a few more months and see whether issues crop up before trying to play in their site.

Still, since BPlay is only a new gambling site, it's still up to question whether this collab is actually going to benefit Binance since it has a lot of sites to fight with. Hope Binance actually manages to get something out of this collab though, especially since business puts profit as a top priority.

I really think that they had invested on BPlay so that they can take the gaming world onto their system by being adopted on a new gaming (gambling) platform. And as far as we can judge, it will really benefit Binance by expanding it's capabilities for not being only a famous online exchange but also a company that adopts a platform which focuses more on crypto gambling.

The word collaboration means that there is a deal between binance and bplay. The deal can be related to funds and something else. If this site dies down for bad, it will give bad reputation to binance as well. No matter how rich is binance at the moment but if they do something bad in the collaboration then it will affect their future obviously.

I don't think that BPLAY's system and future faults (if and only if it goes down) could affect with the Binance's reputation, as collaboration only means that they had a partnership or a deal which I guess Binance had a commission on BPLAY in its net income then BPLAY in return would use the system of Binance mainly as an alternative log in which also promotes the famous exchange (that's only my guess and what I see the reason why Bplay's site had the feature)

Red Tagged ID not secure this forum, red tagged member already scamming forum so my opinion best solution red trust tagged ID remove this forum and clean forum in future safety

We don't really get what you are talking about with "Red Tagged ID not secure this forum". Red trust tagging is already making the forum clean and safe, it's just that some users, despite the flags, keeps making transactions and keeps encountering with red tagged users without reading the tag's reference and reasons.

If you are still doubtful with the trust system, here's some thread that talks about it:

2736  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: BDO - BPI - Wirecard $2.1 Billion Fraud Case on: June 28, 2020, 10:27:26 AM
His statements:
Quote
It seemed that all fingers were pointing to me to be the thief and manipulator of the missing money, I want to clear my name.

I am a victim of identity theft and fake news and frame up,

So here's what was revealed so far:
  • BPI fired their assistant manager for signing a fake certificate of deposit
  • BDO fired a marketing officer for faking a bank certificate
  • Mark Tolentino opened six euro bank accounts under his law firm (MKT Law) on behalf of a Singapore-based company called Citadelle Corporate. He also said the accounts never had more than a few hundred euros in them.

Damn, Wirecard would really have a hard time finding those huge amount of money. Imagine, fingers only points to a framed man yet the bank's personnel involved were simply fired by tampering and faking files in which it must be punishable by the law (most likely nakukulong for years onto decades depending on how worse is the case). I think it wasnt orchestrated nor manipulated by MKT Law as there are still less proofs to make a valid accusation. But what interest me the most is that the 2.1B doesn't reached the aforementioned banks and there would be a bigger and a much broader investigation required.

2737  Economy / Reputation / Re: Possibility of the same team behind two projects? on: June 28, 2020, 08:33:26 AM
Its seems to me as well both project operated by same team and that's why UNIDOLLAR hide the team members. Most likely even announcement thread also controlled by same user although there is two account. Probably they forgot to change favicon when they copy script from other platform. Connection is very clear and their concept is same & worst. I can't see any potential concept behind of these projects. Better to avoid and stay safe. To be honest they come with multiple projects because somehow they could raise funds.

But what bothers us is that one of it MIGHT be the original and one might be just be a scammer duplicating other sites. There are a lot of possibilities not unless the original business shows its proof of authenticity or any proof of legitimacy. But in fact, most projects that wants to be invested are already scam. Legitimate process doesn't depend on online investors/donators, they get their capital and base money on banks, in which if they scammed them, jail awaits lol.

Yes it looks to me that same creators are behind both of this websites.
Both domains are purchased in similar time and hosted on same hostinger hosting.

There are many what ifs in this kind of scenario. One can be an enemy of the other and duplicated its project. But most likely this kind of scenario it is kinda sure it's scam espcially having suspicious registration time and system's front-end and back-end similarities.
2738  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Cryptocloudmining promising 88% profit in 90 days! on: June 28, 2020, 05:28:31 AM
What happened: Cryptocloudmining service is promising huge 88% profit in only 90 days! Cloud mining services are dodgy in general, and when they offer such a huge profit, then there is no doubt what is going on here.

88 freaking percent in 3 months?!!! Damn that is very much bigger than my investments and trading profits! Yes, cloud mining are mostly scam and suspicious, yet some (I know real people and not totally a platform/service that is offering mining online) are legitimate as they only seek deposits as an investment to buy more rigs and mining hardware (and for electric bills/improvement of the mining as well). It's a good business if you are rich enough to buy the necessary tools and have some people who knows how to build crypto mining rigs, but it is only suspicious when it was offered online with no further proofs of legitimacy (such as photos and a reputable name).

Yup, any project containing the words "cloud mining" in their name is 100% scam.

But then some offers are good such as [11.2kW SOLAR/WIND/MAN] NastyMining Green Energy Project ☀️💨💪🔋 by OgNasty which was started three years ago (in which I don't know what is the current update)... Also, there are a lot of mining offers from trusted users here in the forum yet doesn't offer such ridiculous amount to earn in months LOL

Better see the Mining board..

2740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fortnite Betting? on: June 27, 2020, 10:56:38 AM
I like the idea of seeing fortnite added to Olympics. They can't ignore the fact that it's already a career these days. I'm an esports advocate/fan and would love to see any esports game be considered by the Olympics.

Indeed as even I myself are amazed with the community and unique idea of Fortnite, yet the biggest drawback is that the fact that Apex Legends and the new Valorant are pretty comparable to Fortnite. Comparable in ways that it all has the same idea as the CS:GO yet differs only in features such as shields, weapons, and in-game styles and plays. I said comparable because Fortnite's community rose drastically and fell down instantly as well. I'm not saying that Fortnite is already antiquated, it's just a fact that even Apex and Valorant wouldn't have that attention to be adapted by legitimate betting platforms as all of the game's idea came from CS:GO (in which CS:GO is still popular and have constant betting)

We all know that the Olympics is a showcase in which you could show off your skills in front of the whole world. It’s a sign of development in every kind of aspect, specifically in sports and electronics sports.

Fortnite isn't that famous around the world yet. Some still aren't tried playing it and it's viewers are still less compared to the top esports nowadays. And looking forward for it to be accepted in Olympics is somehow ridiculous, yet... why not right?

I've also looked up if there are Fortnite betting online, yet found only tournaments and live streams. I think it's community must increase and game strategy must improve to surpass and/or reach the peak of CS:GO and other bet-able esports games..
