so to take full advantage of POS do I send kore to my wallet, wait 1 hr for POS to kick in, stake for max 8hrs (at %10) then send them elsewhere (say an exchange) and then rinse and repeat? I'm just curious if this is a suggested practice. Thank in advance!

KORE is just in it's infancy and little known but that's going to steadily change and possibly in a big way.
You will not find many weak hands here.

It all depends on the goals of your investment.
Speculators who dump at the first sign of profit I would recommend not keeping all your coins staking.
Long term, stake most or all.
IF you want to keep them ALL in your wallet but only have a portion staking there is a choice in "Settings/Options" Tab.
I guess my question is more in regards to the 8 hr max. Does this mean after being in the wallet for 8 hrs they stop staking?
Not at all.
First it takes awhile for any and every deposit of coins to "Mature" so they can be staked.
Then the time frame you speak of is just the varied time difference it could take till blocks are found...unless I'm Mistaken.
Your coins will always stake as long as you have your wallet open/unlocked/staking.
Hope that helps and thanks for supporting the KORE Network.
