it really amazes me that even with the microsoft announcement, the price has remained where it is. what the heck is holding it down?
A better question: what the heck was propping it up until now? Mugs like us? Can you honestly say you kept buying all the way to $1200? I'm guessing it was something different from us. @macsga: Dementia-related agitation and paranoia are treatable. Seek help.

^Bulls have blown their wad long ago, when they were mooing "we'll never see below $600 again buy buy buy!!!" Now (sincere) bulls have no $$$ to buy BTC with, making their bull[shit] opinions irrelevant. The only ones with money are the wise, patient bears

... Quick. Dump all your coins and sign up for as many credit cards as possible. ... This old chestnut again?
I'll say the same as I did 6 months ago or a month ago.
We'll probably reach our old ATH by mid summer, and hit anywhere from $7000 to $12,000 before crashing down to $2000-$2500, possibly before year's end.
We should be above $10,000 for good by this time next year.
Unless something comes along to break Bitcoin before then.

He understands it well enough to tell people to stay away. "Buffett chooses the examples of the car and aviation industries. Many people saw the revolutionary potential of these inventions, but such clairvoyance would be worthless to an investor if he chose the wrong car company. The same goes for aviation — which has notoriously been a difficult industry to profit from, despite its revolutionary effect on society.
And by this logic, Buffett is right to be skeptical of Bitcoin. Whether you hope to profit from the rise of cryptocurrencies by investing in Bitcoin itself, or companies that would profit from Bitcoin’s ascendence like the Andreessen-backed Coinbase, you’re going to need to know more than just the fact that cryptocurrencies will change the world to make money."
--Fortune I don't believe it is the same thing. The bitcoin is not just company to invest in, it goes deeper than that. It changes the fundamental of money......When I used warren buffet quote, I was referring to investing in general terms not in one particular investment, company, etc.... Bitcoin is one of a multitude of coins. The "disruptive technology" is replicable (see: CloneCoin). For free, because open source

P.S: Good morning my friends! .@BlindMayorBitcorn below: My point exactly! You can start afresh in a new country, with a new name--no one need ever know about your embarrassing Bitcoiner past. I hear the Nazis other reputable Bitcoiners have had good luck in Argentina, perhaps try there?
