Just read that Barca loaned Adama Traore from Wolves until end of the season. Damn we have fallen low if we need Traore to save us. He has incredible strength and speed but I am sure most of the guys in Barca youth academy have better ball control and football intelligence Smiley

Maybe Barca is eyeing up some kind of "baby oil" sponsorship deal...
Few years ago he had great season at Wolves, but now I don't know what happened to him. Maybe he started focusing on body building insterad of football too much? Now way that he is player who can save us.
Now I'm more interested how all this drama with Dembele will end.

I read somewhere and I can't find link that in upcoming season F1 will keep 60 minutes length training seassions, despite that previously there was announcement about return to 90 minutes length.
No way...  I mean why make a big fuss out of it esp with how his season ended last year?  If Hamilton really had retired I think we would’ve had an announcement without giving out any hints about it.  Maybe that’s what they want us to think to get more attention before they finally unveil their car.  Dunno...  It seems like it’s a little too late for that.  Who would replace him?

But then again if he really did retire and has yet to announce it, it would be a sad season for me for different reasons.  Lolol.  Since he’s gotten so good, I love hating the guy.  Cheesy
I also don't believe that Hamilton will retire. I think at all this stuff is made to keep fans interest and some hype during off-season when there isn't much action. And Kimi replacing him, for me it's more like bad April Fools day joke. Just leave him alone.
2743  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Covid-19 booster on: January 26, 2022, 08:36:43 PM
How about your chip? Does it get 5G signal better?
Now seriously, I didn't had to take booster because I got Covid few weeks before my covid passport expiration date. And now I don't see many reasons to take boosters when current vaccines don't give much protection against dominating omicron variant. And even if you're not vaccinated, it's very likely that you will have mild symptoms if you'll catch covid. Maybe in few months when updated vaccines will be made, it will make a bit more sense to take booster.

Should we start to get a bit concerned about BADecker? Not seen him in a while...
Oh, interesting where he is gone. But @Tash is working hard to replace him...
2744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HANDBALL EHF EURO 2022 Discussion thread on: January 26, 2022, 08:14:41 PM
@Trofo, I'm still here, just don't have enough time to post more frequently and I follow handball not enough to share deep insight.
Sweden yesterday made amazing comeback on final minutes, Norway were leading almost whole game.
About France - Denmark game, I don't like betting on draws, no matter which sports it is. And quite unexpected, Denmark have confident 5 goals lead at halftime, despite that this game have much bigger importance for France.
Most likely that Denmark - Sweden and Iceland - Spain will face in semifinals if Denmark won't waste their lead.

I was about to recommend https://bitcoin-vps.com to a friend, but i couldn't access the website. Does anyone know whether the website currently down or was intentionally shut down?
I can't access their website and I have no idea what's the reason behind. Maybe they have some communication channels on social media where you can ask them or they announced something?

Offering a VPS when they can't even make a decent website. They didn't even edit their testimonials and all rights reserved but this website is most likely yours, nice try.
Such things just don't look professional and you can't look at such websites seriously.

The video thumbnail alone is rather ugly and should made most people skeptic. But i guess there are people who blindly trust something even if it behave differently.
Thumbnail really don't look very very attractive, but as you say, some people just don't have critical thinking and they fall into these scams in easy way. Especially when such stuff comes from trusted channel.

Pretty easy for me to not use any Google product to be honest. Well, except for YouTube lol. I can use Tutanota and ProtonMail instead of Gmail, DuckDuckGo and StartPage instead of Google Search, etc. but YouTube really doesn't have a decent alternative.
Finding alternative for services like Gmail, Maps or Chromes is easy, but some don't have good alternative. Personally I don't use DuckDuckGo because it don't gives such accurate search results as Google does, especially when searching language other than English. And Youtube, well, you said it yourself.
2747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌍⚽Sportsbet AFCON prediction pool discussion thread on: January 25, 2022, 08:37:27 PM
Comoros got many gloryhunter fans during game Cheesy. When I saw news about their squad problems, I was sure that they will be simply destroyed. But they managed to give good fight, even despite early red card.
Did you see the stampede during the Cameroon - Comoros game?
Apparently 8 dead so far, with additional 7 in critical condition.

I laugh when they get the anthems wrong, when their referees signal the end of the game 10 min in advance and when all these organizational mistakes occur but things like these should never happen. If they are not ready to host these competitions, they should simply not be held at all.
It's sad to read about. All these things that you mentioned shows poor level of organization. Accidents which costs lifes of people can't be justified.

Senegal remains the competition's worst team. I'm still baffled as to how they got to the quarter-finals, they needed two red cards to finally score open play goal.
It's something unbeleavable that they finished 1st in group with just 1 goal scored. I barely can remember something similar. If not these 2 Cape Verde red cards I'm not really sure that we would see confident Senegal win.
2748  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine on: January 25, 2022, 08:22:27 PM
I would not be certain that Germany will follow through with sanctions. They are pushing through with the Nordstream 2 pipeline, which makes them dependent on Russia for energy. Germany is also spending well under what they promised to spend on defense and has been doing so for years.
If Russia will start actions in Ukraine, I believe that Germany will impose some kind of sanctions. But it will be just for the eyes to show that they're doing something and these sanctions won't hurt Russia much. Maybe they will froze somene's bank account or ban them from entering EU.
You have good point about weak US presidents. Same can't be said about Germany. Russia started their actions shortly after Merkel left office and new chancellor don't have that much weight in politics. I even had to Google who he is for the context.
2749  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinBureau has been hacked on: January 24, 2022, 08:27:32 PM
It's worrying thing. Channel with almost 2 million subscribers it's possible to make so much damage. Scammers can get a lot of money in very short time before video gets deleted. I see that video already got deleted, so, does anyone saw what content exactly that video had.
And it's scary to see that Youtubers who get hacked isn't dummies. Most of them probably know how to protect their accounts and they use at least basic precautions like 2FA. Hackers is getting smarter every day if they are able to access these accounts.

Conclusion: Don't trust google and don't use their services
Don't trust, yeah. But don't use it, well, it's easy to say Smiley.
2750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 24, 2022, 08:11:08 PM
It is actually an international break, you probably got mislead because I think European teams are not playing but we have World Cup qualifications in all other zones (Asia, CONCAF, South America) for sure. It was supposed to be a break in all top leagues but due to covid and postponements leagues got the permission from FIFA to reschedule some matches if possible with the provision that all international players must be allowed to go their respective national teams.

AFCON is still running as well.
Thanks for explaining. I really had no idea that we have international break now. I barely can remember such thing in end of January - begining of February. I haven't missed international breaks much and I was sure that we are free from until March Cheesy. Though, there is decisive games in qualifiers, so, maybe it won't be that bad.

Many tracks are getting an overhaul, I do not know why that is, first from Belgium, now from USA, we are getting more and more news about tracks renewing, is there like a benefit or something to doing this? Or is it purely because tracks just needing some renovation?

I am sure that F1 is not the only race that happens in these tracks, so that many races on that frequent times ended up causing some damages and that is why some of the renovations were done, but I also wonder if it helps the track owners in some way or another? Like do they change something that fits the regulations of more race sports that allows these tracks to include more types of racing and earn more money from it?
There is multiple reasons. Some tracks simply didn't had overhaul for long time, so, it's needed in order to keep Grade 1 certficate. Abu Dhabi repair made to make race more interesting. In Spa they build new stands to accept more spectators and also make changes to held 24 hours moto race.
In general yes, changes in tracks allows owners to accept more type of racing and offcourse earn from it. Though, overhaul isn't cheap thing, it will took some time return ivestment.
2752  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine on: January 24, 2022, 07:52:28 PM
I'm not very surprised that there is no thread about it. I got impression that in this board things happening outside US don't get much attention.
I don't know how likely is Russia invasion in Ukraine. I still want to believe that it won't happen. Invading whole Ukraine isn't same as invading pro-Russian regions like Crimea or Donbass. I doubt that they will reach Kyiv. It's more likely that they will try to take another part of eastern Ukraine, like Kharkiv where part of pro-Russian people isn't small.

Germany seems to be another hindrance to defending Ukraine. They are willing to be subjected to economic blackmail via the Nordstream 2 pipeline, and are preventing military equipment from being sent via Germany to Ukraine.
And I'm not suprised about their actions at all. They already blocked Estonia from sending weapons to Ukraine. Offcourse, later they will impose "strict sanctions" and they will be deeply concenerned, but as we saw so many times already, sanctions don't work.
2753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 23, 2022, 09:42:03 PM
And seems that our expectations were bursted again, game ended 0:0 and Juventus managed to make 0 goals on target in whole game.
Now I look at schedule and I don't see any games in Top 5 leagues until 4th February. There is no games in cup too. Does anyone knows reason of such break? Because it's not international break this time.
2754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 23, 2022, 07:48:59 PM
Seems that Superbru completely forgot about Serie A. They still haven't awarded points for yesterday's Lazio - Atalant agame and none of today's games.

Anyway, Milan to win and BTTS good value, right? My last bet of the night.
Yeah, looks like a good value. But just before the game I decied to go just with BTTS. I simply lost too much today :/
2755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HANDBALL EHF EURO 2022 Discussion thread on: January 23, 2022, 07:37:17 PM
I was very surprised to see such big Iceland win against France yesterday. France were heavy favorites before the game, but they had no chance and lost 21:29.
Impressive end in Russia - Poland game. Poland scored goal with few seconds remaining and took a minimal lead. But Russia responded with buzzer-beater goal from middle of court and game ended 29:29. And no, Poland didn't played without goalkeeper on final Russia attack.
Now very interesting game between Spain and Norway started.
2756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 21/22 - discussion thread on: January 23, 2022, 06:39:41 PM
Ajax played better than PSV in the match and they were able to win the match 2-1. They have attacked more than PSV. With 3 points in this match, Ajax is now 2 points ahead of PSV. Ajax managed to reach the top of the table. I believe Ajax can win the title this season if key players will not be injured. Their team is consistent enough. Ajax will be the champions this season without any accidents.
Ajax were slightly better today, but now they don't dominate so much like in first half of season. Ajax is still good, but their lead against PSV now is just 2 points. I agree that Ajax is favorites, but everything can happen because PSV also don't look bad.
In other game, Feyenoord didn't had problems against Nijmegen and won 4:1 and they're still keep close to the top.
2757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 23, 2022, 06:31:57 PM
Didn't watched Real game, but from stats it looks Real dominated game, but Elche scored 2 goals which don't reflect game and parked a bus. BTW, coincidence or no, but Real this season dropping points only against bottom table teams, they don't have problems against direct competitors.
why did you back Valencia today my dude?  Cheesy  they always choke against Atletico, last time they beat them was eons ago... they were close to the win, but they did a Leicestah lol

btw, i was the only one who predicted the Cadiz win earlier,, it was such a rare event it seems that the superbru system still hasn't awarded me the 1.5 pts lol at least that's how it looks on my end
Yeah, Valencia really did Leicester yesterday Cheesy. Impressive comeback from Atletico. It's great round for them, considering that both Real and Sevilla dropped points, but they're still so far away.
And Superbru still didn't awarded you points for Cadiz win Cheesy.
2758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: January 21, 2022, 09:46:20 PM
I feel like it was not "political" but also a bit political. I feel like it was more about "if we let him come, then how could we tell no to others?" type of situation. Yes, he could have went there and had an exception and he could have played and maybe even win, and he is taken out of that contention because of legality and that is why I would say it was definitely political, after all it is the politicians that decide this.

However, I also give them pass for this one case since it also means that if they let him come, then ordinary people who will not be playing tennis professionally will say "if djokovic can come, why can't I?" and that becomes even a bigger problem. Racers, drivers, team members, everyone needs to be vaccinated in order to go there, that should happen, OR nobody should be asked, it is either that or the other, you can't just let some in and keep some out, that's unfair.
You have good point. Probably this story have no solution where everyone would be happy. It's crazy how this Covid stuff divided our society into two sides.

I also saw today that the track in Australia got a rework. Australia was not a very exciting track in the past in my opinion (still better than Monaco though lol), so let's see if the modification makes it more interesting to watch and to drive. They posted a teaser video today and in about 3 days they are posting a video of a full lap on the new modified course. This also means that Michael Schumachers lap record for the old layout will never be broken.
Wasn't track were already ready to use for 2021 season? I think they made this in 2020, I doubt that all this work took so long to be done. Australia wasn't most exciting track, but also wasn't very bad, it will be interesting to see modified track in action.
2759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On which esports you place bets on: January 21, 2022, 09:31:53 PM
I'm old fashioned person, I don't bet on any esports. I don't follow esports and I have no idea about it, it would be a bit stupid for me to bet on it. Everyone have different preferences, but for me it's just not interesting to watch how other people playing all these games. Some will say that's almost same like watching how others are playing football, basketball or any other sport, but for me it's not same.

Gambling on esports seems like some weird thing you'd see in a movie about the future.  It's crazy to think about how big this business has become.  I'm even seeing on NFL games now they have weird replays where the people are generated animations like out of a video game.  It seems this is the direction the world is going.
I think recently there was NFL broadcast on Nickelodeon with various kind of animations included. It's done to attract younger audience to real, not virtual sport, what isn't easy task now. Crazy stuff:
