2761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins and Blacklists on: July 19, 2021, 05:29:55 PM
Excellent thread and all this puts the focus back on why decentralized stable coins are much better than centralized coins. I guess people feel that because they are not involved in any wrongdoing so their coins should not be blocked but then like you mentioned, if coins are blocked you can't do anything honestly and the reason isn't given either.

I personally feel this is a selective scam, just like some crypto casinos are operating. They will let small players play but every once in a while they will scam a whale and there is literally nothing you can do because there's no proof or if even there's proof, how would you make your claim? Not every casino cares or solves accusations made at this forum.
2762  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: July 19, 2021, 05:13:15 PM
Let us not make a big deal out of this. Not forgetting to update the terms would have prevented these concerns and discussions but it's still a minor thing. Things like this happens to any big company or any reputable gambling platform.
I am saying exactly that, it is cheeky but it is valid for every single casino which is why it is not really that shocking. So that is why we end up with something that nobody really should be shocked with, because it is something that we all know all too very well. However just because every single casino does it doesn't make it a difference because any casino could come up with a prevention method and handle this a lot better.

Instead of taking the money from scammers which is justified because they tried to scam a casino and lost their money so I understand, you could still find a method to prevent people to even try to scam, that would be a better way to stop, less cheeky. However I agree 100% that this is a very minor thing and not important and all the casinos are doing it so what I am saying is not specific to bitsler at all and definitely about crypto casinos in general.
It is not about being cheeky or being valid, it is about not being possible at all. You think that there is a prevention possibility but it is not available, all these people are not doing something cheeky because they just want the money, they are doing it because there is no way to prevent it. Let's take double spenders for example, they double spend, if they lose they end up getting their money back from the double spend, if they win then they let it be and then take the winning bet out, so in this case they either win or lose nothing, that is how it works.

Technically speaking there is no way to "prevent" it, but it is obvious when they do it, so what can you do? You catch them after you do it. Think about it like laws in a nation, you rarely ever stop people from committing a crime, but you can jail them after they do it, sort of like that.
2763  Economy / Economics / Re: Vietnam Becomes Latest Country to Turn to Crypto on: July 19, 2021, 01:26:13 PM
I honestly believe that every single nation that has a problem with their fiat currency should be supporting crypto a lot, and I am not even talking about just letting it be used or anything, I am talking about literally governmental help towards everyone who is involved with crypto. Why? Because when you are doing that you are allowing your citizens to end up working with the foreign people who will end up with making a lot more profit thanks to hiring your citizens for cheap and that is why I honestly believe your nation will prosper thanks to crypto.

At the end of the day you will collect more and more and more dollars. Hell make it free electricity for anyone who will mine in exchange for a higher tax rate for them, which means they will only pay when they earn as well, you made 10k? You pay 5k to tax instead 3k and you pay no electricity, which is a big loss BUT, if you make no income then you pay no electricity (and of course no tax, because no tax when no income) these are all great ways to improve a poor nation.
2764  Economy / Economics / Re: How to Start A Cryptocurrency Exchange Step-by-Step on: July 19, 2021, 08:12:10 AM
It is not really a worthy business idea to chase this. I am not saying it is not a bad business, look at binance they are making billions of dollars constantly and that is the type of business that everyone dreams of having one day.

However, it is not worth it because even on the low scale horrible exchange that requires a ton of people to work on it and spend millions of dollars, anyone who doesn't want to spend even that much? They will end up with basically nothing, not even enough to cover their expenses. Think about it, any "decent" exchange needs minimum of 20 workers, and that is the worst exchange that can sustain for a while, the really good ones have thousands, the big one in my nation has 14 thousand people working for them, it is like insanely profitable business, they are getting ready to buy a bank, A BANK.

So, it is not really a good business because I would rather spend that money on something else, hell I would retire and live without working ever again, because capital is THAT high.
2765  Economy / Economics / Re: Green European funds may deal a blow to Tesla on: July 18, 2021, 08:13:34 PM
If anyone here ever fears that we as normal humans have any problems at all regarding this environment crisis, you can be rest assured that you have nothing to do with it. All of the horrible things that is going on in the world, 70% of the world climate problems is attributed to a total of 100 companies, yes you heard it right just 100 companies.

We can simply move to electric vehicles, and we can change anything we want but in the end those companies will keep destroying the world. We need A LOT MORE trees and we need a lot less oil, we need a lot less pollution, hell China all by itself contributes so much to this problem is that if world governments all get together and say "nobody will be trading with china from now on until they fix pollution, and anyone who keeps trading with china will be banned as well", you can call it a fascist move (which it really is) but it is just to save the world, I believe that is justified over money.
2766  Economy / Economics / Re: Only young and naive guy believe in high risk high return on: July 18, 2021, 06:36:05 PM
I have to say there is a good reason why we are talking about people who end up with higher returns because they took bigger risks, and that is not because they just won a lot of money, that is because they found something that none of us would have the courage to invest so much (not even just in number, but % portion of portfolio) and that was a huge risk to take, I can't do that.

For example, my "small cap" coin that I like is Swipe, it was bought by binance, doesn't mean that binance will be using it like crazy but they did, and what happened? Did that turn out to be a a big investment that turned into profit a lot? It didn't, and that is why I do not feel happy about investing into it.

However if I took a big shot at it, I would have lost a lot of money with it, I see this and I think there is no need to invest into smaller caps like that, it just solidifies my belief. On the other side there are people who goes out there and puts 50% of their whole money into some small cap and make a great return, it is really brave.
2767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will SHIBA INU going to reach $1? on: July 18, 2021, 10:27:24 AM
Why do people always require to get rich this quickly, why can't you just work hard to make money? Why is it always "can I buy something for 0.00000001 dollars and sell at 1 dollars and be super rich and do whatever I want? I get it, as a "dream" it is good, when you are sleeping in your bed go dream about this, but the real life is not like that, real life is specially horrible for people who do not come from money, which means you will have to end up fighting hard and logical for getting even decently richer, not even wealthy.

It means that we should not be focusing on getting to be a billionaire over night, we should be focusing on making a million dollars in 40 years, that is a lot reasonable (considering the inflation maybe more like few million dollars) so that we could actually do something that is a lot more realistic if we are smart with our investments.
2768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to $10K? on: July 17, 2021, 08:50:08 PM
Think about it, ethereums biggest peak was 4.3k dollars, just x2.3 increase from peak. I am not saying that it will happen today or anything but I really believe that we are seriously way too close to it and that is why I really do not think that we should be too worried about reaching 10k. Sure it may take some time, sure we need to wait a bit for it, but can really anyone doubt that we can't reach 10k?

I mean we always go beyond our ATH, in almost every coin, look at the prices of all the altcoins this year, they went beyond their previous ATH this year and that is the proof that in the future there will be a moment when the price goes beyond ATH again, by how much? Well last ATH for ETH was 1.5k and that went 2.8x higher for the new ATH, so I think 10k+ will be breached the next time we have a new bull run and reach to some all time high price.
2769  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies replace fiat currencies on: July 17, 2021, 08:22:52 PM
Can? Yes it can. Will it? No it will not. The simple reason for crypto not being able to change the world works is the simple fact that it is way too technological. My mom and dad still uses cash, they use credit card a bit as well and that's it, they do not have their banks mobile app, they do not have anything remotely technological, they do not even understand what bitcoin is let alone use it.

It means we need a whole new population of people grow old while others die in order to see this happen. That is about 30-40 years in the future for everyone to be as technologically talented enough to understand how crypto works. After all of that is done, there are people who do not have access to clean water all over the world, let alone a computer and internet access and maybe even mobile phone, they do not have WATER, how can they use bitcoin? So it is not easy, the infrastructure is not there.
2770  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: July 17, 2021, 07:01:36 PM
I have been a day trader but want to know if it’s a good idea to hold bitcoin for long, whether it will be more profitable?
If there is one topic that has been discussed the most in this community, it must be "Investing vs Trading" or "Trading vs Holding" and even today we don't have an undisputed outright winner. According to me, investing is a much better and safer option than trading especially in crypto because the market can swing in any direction but because the scarcity factor is always there, the value in the long term is only going to get bigger.

It also depends on the individual, if one is good at fundamental analysis they must look to invest generally while if one has a good ability to read charts and analyze technically, they should always trade.

Overall, if you analyze though, the one who invested $100 worth in BTC at around 2010, and holds them now must be more profitable than a trader trading the same $100 worth of coins again and again and chances are high that he might have lost hem to panic selling.
2771  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: July 17, 2021, 01:47:42 PM
I am not taking anyone's side but why are you posting from a new account every time?

The accounts are obvious controlled by the same person: Cram06 & baselstrasse

I know cloudbet is sloppy and slow but when someone is posting from different accounts and newbies accounts, there is something they are afraid of or wrong about. In case you guys don't know there are countless ways of cheating the house with sports bets through actions like accidental odds, etc.
2772  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 17, 2021, 01:06:21 PM
^ Yeah, they made a lot of promotions but I think they did not announce it here and only on Twitter.
https://twitter.com/Roobet/status/1415804606081245187
5 Winners - $500 EACH, that was very awesome, I can't imagine how generous they are, they had a lot of promotions they give too much opportunity to get that high prize. There is no reason why gamblers will leave Roobet if there any chance that you will earn not to gamble but even participating in their events. Nevertheless, recently they are quite not active here giving announcements.
Indeed, despite all the negative comments about roobet, I have to say that roobet is among the most active casino in terms of promotions and creative contests for the forum members. There are so many promotions that I often miss some of them like the design contest they held. When I last visited there was a King Roo contest going on, so always something to win at roobet.

I wish there was a single page or blog that covers all the promotions, I mean all of them, the ones on twitter, forum, on-site and anywhere else they might happen.
2773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Tips for Trading from Beginner, For Beginners. on: July 17, 2021, 09:52:34 AM
for point 3 I think that will be the biggest challenge in these steps. I think 30 days is not enough time to be able to control emotions, although in this case it will be different for each person. To control our emotions requires a process, it even requires problems to be faced so that we have experience
Yeah right, the 30 days period is not enough sample to judge one's control over emotions and their reaction under tough times. There are traders who held strong for years but when the market collapsed like it did last year, even the best and most robust traders panicked and sold their coins fearing a complete shutdown of the market.

Trading in the initial days is similar to gambling, it gives a feeling of security and people start feeling they have cracked an easy money-making method only to fall hard on their back once they have lost during a trade. I am not saying the tips shared in the OP are bad, not at all. But 30 days is just too small of a time period to judge yourself and giving out tips to others reflects overconfidence, although I appreciate people sharing their knowledge and experience.
2774  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BFG is LISTED🔥 BUY🔺SELL🔺EXCHANGE|⚡️Free BTC+BNB| on: July 17, 2021, 08:11:21 AM
Farming will only last for a month. I think this is great because right now Betfury controls most of the supply and this will make more tokens available on the open market making it distributed among more people.
Where did you read that this farming feature will only last a month?
I haven't read from their Farming FAQ or am I missing their announcement regarding this farming duration?
With staking or farming features, this will give players the options where they want to put their BFG in order to get their passive income.
But of course, the main reason why betfury is here - being casino and sportsbook will not be forgotten. Otherwise, their BFG will slowly lose its value.
I guess the farming will last for a long time but the APR might decrease with time. I seriously think farming BFG tokens is much more worth than staking them because the value of each token is only going to rise in the future and there's nothing that can deny it. The tokens are burned too which creates scarcity ultimately.

I really love this staking and farming concept right now and I wish more people were aware of this somehow. I mean various gambling groups I discuss at, don't have any idea of such a cool thing is going on, and it's hard to explain everyone about it myself.

Anyways guys, keep farming and don't sell your BFG tokens for cheap!
2775  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 Simple Ways Crypto Whales Manipulate the Market on: July 16, 2021, 04:11:09 PM
Bitcoin is getting bigger, and more and more people continues to invest and the market gets huge. I think it is going to be hard for whales to pull off any pump and dump on Bitcoin.

Although I am not trying to say that it is not possible. It is possible, but it is going to be very difficult for anyone to just pull it off alone, it is going to be a group, but even at that they wouldn’t be able to make much impact like they would years back. Unless they are going to target altcoins, which has been their target as of recent.

Altcoins are small and whales can easily get them pumped and then dump when they have made a lot of profit.
2776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Resistance and Support of BTC everyday. on: July 16, 2021, 12:25:33 PM
Just leave it be guys, this guy is not telling you or forcing you to make moves depending on what he says, this is like personal journal to him basically and he can be as wrong as he wants to. He is obviously bad at doing this, he has been "wrong" in so many cases, not technically fully wrong because he just shares support lines and resistance lines which means price could go beyond or below those prices as well this doesn't change a thing but at the same time he has been wrong in the sense that bitcoin didn't even have those support and resistance lines these days and he just wrote wrong numbers there.

However he has that right to be wrong because he is not saying anything extra, he is not shilling any coin or even a product, he just shares his opinions and that's it, if nobody replies that's still fine because he does this to proof himself something.
2777  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is cryptocurrency bullish in the long-term on: July 16, 2021, 09:09:54 AM
The real reason is that we are all very much in love with what bitcoin is bringing to the table and that is not something we will be leaving anytime soon, we are going to have to force ourselves into a level where we have to accept the fact that bitcoin will not be just a profitable thing but also beneficial thing and that just doesn't exist anywhere. Who in the world knows a thing which you can invest into that not only helps you keep profiting, but also allows you to spend it anytime you want?

I do not think that "invest into dollar" is something that makes sense to many people, which means that bitcoin is the only one, hell we can't even spend gold these days. Long story short the great thing about bitcoin is the flexibility, it is the all in one package of investments and that means a lot to many people, we just have to accept that and realize that about bitcoin.

Whoops, forgot to add the zero:
20 > 40 > 80 > 160 > 320 > 640 > 1280 > 2560 > 5120 > 10240 > 20480 > 40960 > 81920 > 163840

Quote
It's gambling... and after all, it's martingale (all some form of martingale)... if you don't rage and raise your bets you will not be able to recover what you lost and for sure you will not make any profit!

Haha, exactly. But sometimes I just go #YOLO and bet my entire balance and leave with a fat zero Grin
I remember about 8 years ago or so I ended up learning about crypto, and then following that in few months I learned about gambling in crypto, which was dice gaming of course because that was the only thing at the time. Martingale on x2 was the common thing, and that is what I used as well, got free faucet money and sometimes even reached to level where I can withdraw the faucet money, it looked too good to be true, mathematically speaking there is a chance you could go about thousands of bets without burning out and losing all your bankroll, it will always end up with you losing all of your money in long enough time, maybe first 20 bets, maybe 20 thousandth bet who knows but it will always happen, and to me it didn't happen quickly.

So, I was talking with someone else and sold something and got 1 bitcoin for it, made it to a lot more before I suddenly lost it all. That amount is around 100k or so right now, I would have 100k if I kept that money, I would have sold waaaaay earlier if I know myself but it is just not worth it.

It turns out that Roobet also cares about animals and the environment, the charity they do can donate quite a large amount of funds to WWF
source: https://twitter.com/Roobet/status/1415075902497595392
I don't know if there is a casino that also does the same thing by donating funds to WWF or other institutions
208 thousand dollars!! That's a whooooole lot of grub and I think it will be helpful to many many animals, I do not know how things work but I think it should be enough to save many animals. I am also very glad that it goes towards a place as good as WWF because there are other "animal" groups like PETA that kills 98%+ of all the animals they get, that's the problem and I think it should not be really seen as animal group but more like a terrorist group because of how many animals they kill.

WWF on the other hand not only helps the animals directly, but they also do it not just for dogs and cats and limit themselves they are WILDLIFE group, they help every type of animal you can think of. This is why roobet is aces in my book, they may or may not have some problems with some features and you may disagree with them but NOBODY can say they are not legit, they are just insanely good people in and out.

The site is still down I just tried to in and it didn't work, I dont know if it's my network or any other user experiencing the same thing I know the team announced maintenance is it not done with yet.
It is working fine for me, tried it and also since it is a "social" game I have seen other people gamble there as well. While we are here and talking about maintenance and improvements, I would like to also ask about the problem we may face with the "slowness" when we use VPN, it has been like that for years and I understand that there is this thing about not playing with VPN which is why it is not a priority and I get that, it is understandable.

But, are we really going to keep treating VPN as some boogeyman forever and make it very impossible to gamble that way (because of huuuuge lag) or is there even a slight bit of hope about it getting improved? I tried all kinds of VPN under the sun (not specifically for this to be fair) on chrome, and even love using my Opera browser with built-in VPN and all of them gives the same result, you click and takes nearly 3 seconds for it to register. No chance for it to get a look?
