Linux crashing, how...interesting?

Blockchain.info is indeed nice eye-candy, and while I tend to use it more, sometimes Blockexplorer displays information differently than blockchain.info so it's good it's around.

Even though I do source.local.1.rewriteDifficultyTarget=0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000333300000000
###default true = set to false if you want to PoolServerJ as a proxy for non-pool mining source.local.1.rewriteDifficulty=false or even source.local.1.rewriteDifficultyTarget=0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000333300000000
###default true = set to false if you want to PoolServerJ as a proxy for non-pool mining source.local.1.rewriteDifficulty=true The difficulty is NOT rewritten. It stays at it's default state

Have you tried, say, swapping the cards in the slots?
|

quite certainly...
Microsoft is of course working on versions further than 9 and 10 but wouldnt be as stupid as to announce such stuff... *just wishes Singularity was real*
Are you referring to the PC game?

Until someone sits on his ass to write them, they will not automagically appear(not referring to OP).

I agree. One thread to rule them all.
The forum was generally for alt-chains, now it is mostly about Litecoin.

Compiling litecoin-qt/bitcoin-qt is very easy after you've installed Qt SDK. ( http://qt.nokia.com/downloads/ ) You need to install some dependencies first using the terminal : sudo apt-get install build-essential sudo apt-get install libssl-dev sudo apt-get install libdb4.8-dev sudo apt-get install libdb4.8++-dev sudo apt-get install libqrencode-dev sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev After that go to the project directory (with the .pro file) and run following : After that there should be an executable named litecoin-qt in the same directory as the Litecoin project folder. Now if you do the same for windows, you would be a god

If no one implements this, I will. I post it here in the hopes someone else will beat me to it (I've sat on it for a while because I had hopes that I could implement it myself, but alas, there is too much work and too little time).
I think the whole namecoin idea is flawed. They've implemented a separate currency to trade for domain names. However, as CommitCoin has demonstrated, it's possible timestamp any document using the bitcoin block chain. If you further establish a depth first, left right rule regarding the merkle tree of transactions, then it's possible to establish a community agreed upon ordering of arbitrary documents. These documents could be anything, including contracts for the initial claim of a domain name and the subsequent transfer of those domain names.
I think that should be all the clue anyone needs to implement a better namecoin system.
Not sure what you want here. Your post is very vague.

Anyone want the last 10k BTC under $6? Sure, I'll take em. They can be yours for only 60,000 pieces of special paper! If it's this special paper, I have loads of that

Why does my "Recent" hash rate as reported by the P2Pool client vary so much? I think that is calculated based on how many recent shares have been accepted by P2Pool so it varies over time based on your personal "luck". Mine is currently at 0 This is because even though I'm running about 750Mhs, I haven't found a single share in 12+ hours.... At least we hit 4 blocks this morning but I'd be a lot happier if it wasn't after a half day stale period for me, I got shit payouts. Well there is something obviously wrong. In 12 hrs you should have a few K shares submitted moreover you have 750mh/s not 7.5 mh/s.

Here is another idea.
A light database. Something that will add to the name. BDB seems to be slow, as I've been told.

Yeah, sorry, wrong day. It's the 8th atm

This is my reject ratio as of now.
|
|

Considering blockchain.info tells me WHICH pool found a block, it is fairly easily(with a 2 minute gap) to find out if deepbit mined a block. Sure it requires additional info, but it could be worth it!
|
|
|
Is there a reason I am getting high rejects ? Is it perhaps too much work rolling I do? Last night I had 321 shares submitted, 71 rejects aka 17.1% Now I have 5832 submitted and 2.2%(129) rejected
