There must be some stubborn shorters out there... But as long as the green candles get longer than the red ones, it's fine.

PLA is really wonderful... natural... biodegradable, but it has it's limits. You certainly can't do firearms with it. I did this great set of replacement knobs for my grill. So nice... Prusa silver with a little orange flame glued on them. I loved them. They fit so tightly (she whispered). Until you used the grill. They take enough ambient heat that the would get mushy... lol. So I had to use PETG. And I only had a sort of translucent blue. Oh well... it's kinda comical looking, but they don't melt.
I built a Prusa 3 with my daughter... it was a LOT of fun. There are cheaper printers out there for sure... but the quality of that thing. The engineering. It's a work of art.
Congrats The prusa's indeed have high reputation in the 3dp community. I switched to the Anycubic only because of the price, which was below a prusa3 and the Ac still had a more sturdy looking frame, imho. Personally, i knew some people that had multiple printers, and i think i know why. One built his own, but he does things professionally (model kits) and had studied toolmaking and machine engineering, worked with multiple industry-grade machines of many kinds. That was a monster thing. I bought my first CNC from him. A total freak, of course EDIT: Bitcoin: Knock, knock! $23k:

Yeah, the thing is a real bargain at 0.1 BTC (this includes a 1kg spool of excellent PLA). I switched to some *m*zon PLA for 0.0011 BTC per kg and that was a bad choice. The Anycubic PLA printed excellently, out of the box, while the cheap one gave me a hard time adjusting parameters to get mediocre results (like Arries mine replica). I always wanted to print ABS, ultimately for a DIY gun, so i came across PETG/CPE because of the fumes when printing ABS. This time i ordered from a specialized dealer. I got into CNC about a year ago (or make it two, in case my mind fails on this again), and i was thinking quite often about 3DP, but always forgot about it again, mainly because my research for the "best" budget printer never came to an end - a different story. However, for 0.1BTC this machine is excellent, in the meanwhile i got decent CPE results. And it seems to get "cheaper" over time as well. Thanks, Satoshi Yeah, ABS is quite a nasty material to print with. I wouldn't even try it on the Anycubic. As for PLA, I always go for high quality stuff, usually sold in 750 g spools costing around $30 each. Have tried cheap ones ($20 / kg), but results were noticeably inferior, not worth the savings. BTW, my 0.1 BTC comment was obviously not for the Anycubic—you can currently buy 10 Anycubics for that amount! Maybe you missed a zero in your post above. The Anycubic Mega S should now be around 0.01 BTC. My comment was that, in 2021, 0.1 BTC should easily buy you an Ultimaker S5-class 3D printer. OMG, yes. 0.01 BTC! I missed a zero The Ultimaker will be on my shopping list for sure if i print at least 3 times a week over the course of a year or so. Just printing an ipad stand from thingiverse, i can't stand it when my kids are literally letting their heads "hang" over the damn thing, when it's lying flat on a table or floor. 9 out of 10 times i design custom things, which is freaking easy using 3D Builder, but it has it's quirks when you're used to work, say with Auto Cad in 2D. I wrapped my head around FreeSCAD and the likes, but it was too hard for me to get into, as a man with like half of a brain. What's up with Bitcoin? Should i look up some christmas cards? With Tux, this time? Institutions don't buy FUD like average Joes do... You can count on institutional investors were watching at least one full market cycle, if not two.

German Banks trying to reinvent the wheel: Services like PayPal have always been a thorn in the side of German banks. As an alternative, banks and savings banks want to establish their own new payment system and introduce it in online trading, as the Tagesschau reports.
The Federal Association of German Banks (BdB), the Federal Association of German Volksbanks and Raiffeisenbanks (BVR), the German Savings Banks and Giro Association (DSGV), the Federal Association of Public Banks in Germany (VÖB) as well as Commerzbank, DZ Bank and Deutsche Bank are involved in the project . A service for all customers
The plan: using well-known projects such as "#DK" (digital credit industry) and "XPay", a uniform payment system is to be created across all channels. Payment methods such as Paydirekt, Giropay, Girocard and Kwitt are to be combined under a new brand.
With the new service, consumers could then continue to pay at the checkout or conveniently on the Internet. With the functions of Kwitt, a cell phone-to-cell phone payment method would also be on board. Which bank is used by the customer does not matter. Customers could even access the services of the competition. Federal Cartel Office gives the green light
The Federal Cartel Office has also given the banks the green light for their project - for the time being. "We have no antitrust concerns about the first implementation stage of the project to merge the existing Paydirekt, Giropay and Kwitt services," said the President of the Bonn authority.
This offers the German banking industry a certain degree of legal security in order to be able to "move ahead quickly" with the project. It was also stated that “with regard to the overall project, the banks must first define their plans more specifically in order to be able to clarify further questions”. So this is not yet a license. Banks are lagging behind PayPal
The banks are currently unable to compete with PayPal's over 25 million users in Germany. Neither Giropay nor Paydirekt, which was launched in 2015, could hold their own against PayPal. In direct comparison: Paydirekt only has around 3.5 million users according to its own information.
(google translated) Best outcome would be another e-pay service with lighning integration and bitcoin "wallet" like paypal, backed by real corn.

I bought Anycubic's newer Mega S. Prusa's are in the same range, afaik even better quality at the higher ended printers and have also good community support. ....
The Anycubic is an excellent choice! I've used it and it's one of the best VFM 3D printers out there. You just need to be comfortable with tweaking and tinkering with the h/w a bit, like you've already done. Printing with PLA, the output is on par with much more expensive printers. It's the more difficult/exotic materials that make the difference IMHO. And based on Bitcoin's recent performance and expected 2021 price, you'd probably only need 0.1 BTC to get some of the best quality 3D printers out there... Life's sweet for BTC HoDLers! Yeah, the thing is a real bargain at 0.1 BTC (this includes a 1kg spool of excellent PLA). I switched to some *m*zon PLA for 0.0011 BTC per kg and that was a bad choice. BTC can do it without the cards from now to next ATH.
Good. So i can put the welder's goggles back into the tool cabinet now It seems that the Honey Badger likes 3D printers more that he does gay Xmas cards...
Or, probably, he just doesn't give a fuck...
Maybe Honey Badger gets bored quickly, so as long as we present different off-topic content to it, he keeps feeling satisfied?

I will probably buy a 3D printer when I sell at the coming top. But I dread having to learn the software, I hate computers and software stuff, I would rather just make a drawing by hand and pay someone to do the CAD drawing from that. The hardware stuff on the other hand, that I like.
OutOfMemory is right, I was thinking about my OPSEC. I think you should buy a good 3D printer. It's cheaper that way, as you'll be able to do so many more things exactly the way you want. Aside from the printer purchase, the cost is nothing really (I've just tried your mine and the printer reports around 16 hours of print time and a material cost of 4.90 €). You must be patient though, as you will need to tweak s/w parameters and tinker with the 3D models, but it's so rewarding it's totally worth the effort IMHO. I'm lucky enough to have access to a good 3D printer at my laboratory, so it's all free for me. If I had that specific color filament, and the time to change the text language, I'd do it for you. These are some good, cheap printers to start with: https://www.prusa3d.comEdit: Sorry for the OT, just warming up for the next pump... #metoo I bought Anycubic's newer Mega S. Prusa's are in the same range, afaik even better quality at the higher ended printers and have also good community support. It's a "good" quality low price printer, but i instantly changed some things, like the cooling system and housing. I found out i better change the bushings of the guides of the heated bed, because they vibrate at higher speed. At least it's a low budget printer with heated bed made of glass, so once leveled, no maintenance and tape, glue or spray needed, no warping, good heat distribution. If you want high quality and just start printing without modifications go for an Ultimaker, which are $2k and rising. Most of the quality of the prints is in the settings, though. On topic: It looks like there are some traders taking profits into the christmas holidays. There's some good support a little below current $22.4k, next week we may observe another pump (i hope so). Boring times ahead?

@Arriemoller: Arrie, I hope you didn't pay too much for that 3D printed mine, because it's not a good print job... If it wasn't for OPSEC, I could print one and send to you for free. Maybe some day...
In other news:
Don't care about gay. Please, just go to $30k. I want to be gay!
#sohomohaikuthatrhymes
The mine wasn't all that expensive, 20 dollar-ish, but the freight was. I thought it looked a bit rough, but on the other hand, this guy was the only one who would make one, he made it from two photos I provided, or rather, he modified the American claymore he was already selling. If you are thinking of my OPSEC, don't worry, it's paper thin, I don't really worry about it. If you ever feel the urge to make one, just let me know, I'll be happy to pay you in BTC. The original that he modified. I guess AlcoHoDL was talking about his OpSec. In that case i recommend sending via delivery service and use sender's contact data from a random person found in the telephone book. I didn't have the time to write before, but i also wanted to say that the printjob is pretty bad and the printer seems to need some maintenance and adjustment to deliver decent results. I recently started printing CEP CPE, which is some tough and durable stuff, but every material needs different settings to deliver consistently good results. As of BItcoin, as far as i can tell from the chart, the correction seems to have eased out. A lil less volume and the next pump can start rolling. This is not the time for dips, imho. If you're set, fine. If you're into DCA, fine. If you wait to buy the dip, maybe too late.

Gotta love working nightshift. I'm getting this down to a science. If I ever go into business (unlikely in my old age) wo bros can have first dibs. (no charge except for the gold coins, those go to my family) Who knows, after I kick the bucket these things will be priceless, lol. (ok maybe not, anyone can scan and mill the sig...) GO BITCOIN Brilliant work! The wood fits good, too (is it walnut, btw?) Reminds me of the bitcointalk ebony poker chips... Gotta make some of these too, now that i found a good method to center the laser on both sides of the mill- cut and engraved chips.

Damn! I was gonna be a dick (as usual) and call you out on that heycooo.... LMFAO This wasn't even supposed to be a haiku! Seems to become a habit, though. You want it, you get it: What's that, exactly? Coinbase going to Wall Street? A serious question. #haikuremix

the "buy-the-dip" meme became a beast of its own. dips last only an hour or so. This is fine
I voted for $23k-$24k, because i feel us going sideways for a few days before the next wave of BTC investment.

Zuckerberg needs to be thrown in jail over the bullshit he pulled this election. I can't believe it's not being more widely reported.
Delete Facebook from your life entirely.
I abandoned facebook right before the cambridge analytica incident. All discussions were fruitless, more or less only flaming and FUD. With four children, a loving wife and three nearby friends you don't really need a virtual "social" network. Life went so much better after getting my account removed from Zuckerberg's data mining platform. Side note: Not one of my "friends" actually believed me when i announced to quit. So my last facefuck post was: "You should have known me a little better. See you in RL!"

Four years ago i would have shorted right now. Thanks WO's for encouraging me to #hodl. Without you, i'd probably have become a nocoiner in 2019 or even 2018.

Good morning See what happens when JJG doesn't post for a day?! Keep it quiet, bro. All the way up to $100k *hahaha* The rise is quite steady, does somebody else also see it? Maybe it's a macro, stepped buy order, to let the bots/traders adjust and not create a single megacandle after which daytraders short the hell out of it. EDIT: I wouldn't be too unsatisfied if that rise would continue until jan. 2021 #Happy Sounds about right. Was thinking of taking a bit more profit earlier today, but, well, we don't need the money, so, guess I'm just gonna keep on stacking dips like a crazy person. Crazy is way better than normal. Just look what normal people are doing. They're the real insane, but unfortunately they are the majority, so they experience their common insanity as justified.
