2761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 14, 2022, 08:03:16 PM

He is really a promising boxer in this era and hopes that he will continue to climb up until he will be recognized as one of the legendary boxers. But before that, he still has lots of rocky roads to cross and every time he beats some opponent, he needs to stay humble as we already know the outcome of the arrogant. they failed to shine even more when they taste their first loss.

I am also rooting for a successful career of Anjacas and this scheduled fight of him against Martinez will supposedly one of the anticipated fight of Anjacas for this year and I am one of the fans who is hoping and wishing for Anjacas success either win it via knockout or unanimous decision. This fighter really has a great future ahead and he is considered as one of the promising boxer in his era, now in this fight all he need to do is to prove his worth through winning the game against Martinez.

For me, the best win is through knockout, however, Martinez is surely a tough opponent so I would be happy already if he would win via split decision as long as he can win and can prove to the world once again that he is a quality fighter and that he deserve a bigger fights in the future.
Every boxer is going to look for a knock out win and hopefully we can see Ancajas accomplishing this one in this fight. Because a knock out win will bolster his status in this weight class and he has a opportunity to face champion that can give him a good paycheck. So if he can do it, then good, but if not but still he manages to take a win I think it will still help him a lot gaining some respect from boxing promoters.
2762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: February 14, 2022, 07:27:20 PM
Garcia is younger and his career is being hyped by Goldenboy, it wouldn't be surprising that he is matched to an old boxer that seem willing to lose. Just my hunch though. But this Emmanuel though I have no idea who he is looks very experience.

I'll still be rooting for Garcia. This match is designed to make Garcia look promising.

Oscar De La Hoya of the Golden Boy Promotions is the brain behind Garcia's fights, making him as a functional cash cow. This fight though is just an interim while Oscar negotiates Lou DiBella (G. Kambosos Jr's promoter) in the meantime given that Garcia will defeat Tagoe first.

Emmanuel (33 years old) is much more experienced than Garcia though with 33 bouts and 15 of that via KO, so yeah much more lower KO rate than Garcia and unfortunately the latter will just be a stepping stone to the rising star.

As someone who has watched fights of Ryan Garcia on the ring, his explosiveness, accuracy, and long-reach is what makes him an exceptional fighter. Like what you have mentioned, De La Hoya is somehow making Garcia the next 'golden boy' on the ring as he is being promoted every time he fights.

According to boxrec, Emmanuel Tagoe is definitely an experienced fighter on the ring. With 32W (15KOs) and only 1 loss, he is someone that cannot be taken lightly, even if you are Ryan Garcia. Though experience would be key in this match, I do have my bet to Ryan Garcia primarily due to the fact that his punches are more explosive.
Right, Ryan has all the physical specimen to become the next big man in boxing. Just like in his last fight, he was able to comeback from the canvass and score a victory. What I don't like about this kid though is that he is more on the social media and he is too loud and brandish and calling any fighters that interest him. I still remember him fighting Manny Pacquiao next but it didn't materialized.
2763  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on its way to $100000?! on: February 14, 2022, 07:03:25 PM
The price of bitcoin will definitely continue to rise and even exceed that price by going through a long process for long-term goals, so if that's your goal and for the long term. Never feel afraid because whatever price you want will definitely be achieved.
The most important thing is to live it consistently and have strong patience because bitcoin is for the long term and for your brighter future, bitcoin is not easy to predict although experts predict not necessarily accurate because changes can occur unexpectedly.
History already tell us that, 2020, we seen the price hitting all time lows of $3k, and many are afraid that it will still go down because of the corona virus. But last year we hit a all time high of $69k. So in just a matter of year, the price move so up that everyone was not sure that we can achieved it in just short amount of time. And that's what we like about bitcoin, so volatile and yet the chances are high for a huge returns in the future.
2764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Shakur Stevenson vs Oscar Valdez 130-pound Title Unification Fight on: February 14, 2022, 01:06:04 PM
^^  I think majority here will bet on Valdez as he will be the underdog.
Stevenson though is also have a good record, even defeating Herring in his last fight.
But Valdez is also a champion and ever since he won the belt, it seems that he is not going to lose a fight. There could be swing as far as the betting goes, and we might see some flip, I reckon and Valdez will be the favorite as the fight gets closer.
2765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 12, 2022, 08:56:07 AM
~
Sixers will surely benefit with this trade if they will maximize Harden's talent.
How do you propose they maximize his talent if Harden's main strength is on isolation plays? Would you let him have the ball and do his fancy dribbles most of the time to maximize his scoring? That would mean his teammates will have less time with the ball. Embiid is not an old-time center who just waits for a pass in side the paint. He loves to show off his handles as well.
And Joel Embiid sometimes shoot 3's as well if not then he will fake and then goes to the middle for a dunk. I guess the version of Harden will really have to readjust to the culture of Sixers and not the other way around. If you can minimize his iso play and become an assists man then maybe it's a win win situation for Lakers. But if he will revert back to his old version while he was in the Houston team, it will be a disaster for the Sixers.
2766  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin resistance and support price on: February 12, 2022, 08:28:03 AM
The consumer price index of USA have reached 7% and as a result inflation rate and the US dollar rate index too have increased. Due to this stock market and the crypto market experienced sudden market correction. To this the cryptocurrency market reacted dropping down close to $43500 from $45000. Further the market retested the resistance and moved above $45k. This hasn't lasted long and now the support have reached down to $43500.
The support on $43,500 has been shattered in the last 24 hours. Now it's $42,200 and it might go down a bit. So the support became the resistance price.

So this is not a good sign, although a price of above $40k might be strong though. But we will never know, once we get to that level again we might see another sell-off. Hopefully this is not case, so let's observed the market movement in the next couple of weeks and see if we are going to be still above the moving average.
2767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin 🐕‍🦺 1$ possible in 2022 or not? on: February 11, 2022, 09:22:31 AM
Well where is the support going to come from? I mean majority on the Doge bandwagon is just riding it for the sake of making money. Yeah, maybe they could push it all the way to $1 or even higher, but what will be the consequences? Or they going to survived long term after that? or will simply go down hard and the only once left are those who are tied and can't go out because they are going to lose more money? in short they are the victim of the pump.
2768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 11, 2022, 09:00:14 AM
I agree with what you said. Going to the playoffs is not difficult, there are playoff level players in this team. But they will be eliminated after 1 or 2 rounds. We all know that they will not be successful in this situation Cheesy
There has been talk of Josh Richardson joining the Lakers. It can be useful for the team, he's playing with good statistics this season Smiley

A healthy Davis and Lebron play different during playoffs sir. Playoffs is a game 7 series compared to a regular season matches which didn't let players adjust for there mistake for a rematch game. Lebron is a genius in terms of adjusting and knowing the weakness of the enemy team assuming all his team mates is very healthy. I still believe that Lakers will do a comeback play this year, Just remove the hindrance player and improve the bench scrore because that's there current weakness whenever davis and lebron is already feeling the fatigue. Trading Kuzma for westbrook is really a very bad decision.  Undecided

I don't think the Lakers can do this with Lebron and Davis alone. Even if they do not have any injuries and are playing with full performance, it is very difficult for them to be successful. The opponent they will face in the playoffs will probably be one of the best teams in the league. I'm sure they will be eliminated in the first two rounds Cheesy
AD and Lebron did it once already right? the difference that time is that the supporting players did come up during the playoffs, like Caruso, Kuzma KCP and Javale and Howard.

But this years version is very different, although they have names like Westbrook and Melo, the chemistry is sour that they are way below the standings right now and probably fighting for a playoff spot.
2769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Shakur Stevenson vs Oscar Valdez 130-pound Title Unification Fight on: February 11, 2022, 08:04:41 AM
I will go with the knock out puncher here which is Oscar Valdez.
He has the experienced and the tools to even knock out tough Stevenson in this fight. Valdez has improved a lot and has been guided by Reynoso, that's why the left hook is so potent like Canelo and Ryan Garcia.

It will be a war but Valdez will win by either KO or a UD.
2770  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to buy? on: February 11, 2022, 06:10:26 AM
Is it a good time to buy now? It looks like the bears have subsided. 30k resistance point is still holding strong. What do you guys think?

Now it's not a correct time to inverse your money. Because it's not a dump market now. Now the market price up to the value of 44.5k dollars.Which means, it gonna reach of 45k dollars soon.People think about the investments for certain time. But the nice move will be the bear market and not a bull market. For the bulk some amounts, it's good way for the holding at the bull. The bull near make you to lose you money at concern.
We have reached the 45k level and I think we can safely say that we are not in a bear market yet and what we saw was only a temporary correction, I think most of us are glad this is the scenario that is materializing as then there is still a chance that the bull market keeps going up strongly during this year, however it is not going to be easy, because as we know besides the pandemic, which it seems it will never leave, now we have to deal with political instability an we have no idea how bitcoin will perform under those conditions.
Yes, and it is still fluctuating around that price, but we can't say that we are out of the bear market. Sentiments is still undecided in the last 2 months, maybe the price has somewhat move up now but it doesn't equate that we are in a bull mode again. Maybe the effects of the Omicron scare has subsided already. But still the world is gripping from the effects of Covid-19 so we have to take this always in consideration. And the global financial market too, when stocks went down the price of bitcoin goes up, maybe the same investors are shuffling their money around.
2771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 11, 2022, 05:07:21 AM

Always expect a surprise, that's where boxing is more entertaining because of such a thing. Khan has been a champion, same with Brook, so we can say that both have the skills to shock the world with a great win, a possible KO is what I'm expecting to see in the fight night, not sure who will make it happen.

What makes this exciting is they are two of British favorite boxers when they are still in the prime of their career, both fighters have legions of fans on that country, it's not years that they are still in the prime of their career so we can still expect the same skills that we've seen in their prime, they are not in a long retirement they are on semi-retire and this fight an push their boxing career again.
And I still believed that there are still a lot of fans inside UK that wanted to see this fight to happen even if both fighters are no longer in this primes.

The odds might be close though during their prime and I think Amir Khan could have been the favorite. But now it's a complete shift, Brook is the favorite to win, but nevertheless still one of the best fight for British boxing fans.

i don't know how to properly say it to you. i think this project will repeat the same situation as the previous project or in other words it will most likely not end well.

no matter how well you present your project. people will think over and over again or maybe worst of all they will never think about this project.
but i still hope you get good results.  Smiley
At least you are brutally honest because that's what we all think of, if we see this kind of projects.
All hype, no utility whatsoever and no use case, except for pump&dump scheme and you know that it won't end well for noobs in the marketcap.

So sorry to burst the bubble to the OP, but we all know what you are trying to create here, another copy cat project with the much (in)famous Doge coin.
2773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 10, 2022, 01:41:18 PM
For me, no need for hard training as I'm sure there's no problem with his strength and body conditioning. His stamina is surely still on top and his quickness and speed are still the same. The problem lies within his inner body that he needs to work on.

You are correct, the condition is viral and can come back anytime. There's no 100% treatment but rather there's a 100% chance to avoid that.

So it's good to train hard, but he should now when to slow down. His trainer knows him best, so maybe putting in the hard work early, conditioning and then sit up and come up with a good plan.

Yes, it's viral so it come manifest itself again.
Their trainer knows the best for their boxer so technically, there's nothing to worry about here its just that Casimero should fully commit on this if he wants to win against Butler because no matter how much your training is, if the boxer itself didn't participate then its useless. Many are waiting for this fight, let's wish both boxer a good health as they inch closer to face each other, thing are getting more exciting seriously.
I was under the impression that a trainer is just a trainer. Technically he could be involved in many times, but I doubt that diet could be one of them. Again, it goes down to the time that Casimero might have issues with his weight. And as we get older it will be hard to maintain such a weight. And we all know that he history of stomach virus that can affect on how he put food in his body. So hopefully the weight will not be an big hindrance for him in this fight.
2774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 10, 2022, 12:20:54 PM
Andy Murray has been one of the best players in the world for years. It was actually inconceivable that he would find his way back to the world top after a new hip. Moreover, he has also aged a bit. If he had been as good as he was then without a new hip, this would have just been a top 5 player in the world. Was actually the only player who could make it difficult for Federer and Djokovic along with Nadal. I don't think Murray will ever really get to his old level again or anywhere near it.

ya.ya.yo!

Of course, during his best days, he is considered one of the best, that's why it is called big 4 at some point because they are all winning the tournaments, almost.

But with his injury and him trying to make his way again in the tournament, it will be difficult as there are new breed of young talents plus his body is no longer there. I guess the grind of this sports really took a toll from the best like Andy.
At least, Murray needs to recover from curing his injury but hopefully, that does not take too long to recover. Even if he can fully recover from torn ACL, that will not be his best performance because he already got a serious injury. I wonder who will be the next Murray this year. Maybe he will decide to retire from basketball because he can not force himself to get his reputation after being injured.

It is normal to see an aged player replaced by young talent because the team needs fresh blood to lift their position step by step.
If I'm not mistaken, it took him years to recuperate and recover from his injuries. And when he did a comeback it is obvious that he is not going to perform at the level he wanted to be and has been thinking of retiring. And yet he join minor tournaments in hope to win at least one title in his comeback. But it is too much for him as the fresh blood is beating him. But during his prime, on the best of the top 3 can compete with Andy as he is hard to beat.
2775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is a Globalization agent Rather than A price and data tools on: February 10, 2022, 11:42:47 AM
It could be an agent if globally it will be adopted. But if bitcoin is going to the hands of the few then it won't be any globalization agent as you have describe. It will become a tool just like what we have today, constant buying and selling in the crypto exchange. I know it was design to be used as payment method with no borders, but today it is very different as it become a commodity.

I would have to agree that getting Westbrook didn't blend well with Lebron and AD, it's obvious by now that there is no chemistry and Westbrook play as Lakers is a far cry when he was in Washington. Kuzma though is doing good in Wizards uniform already so there is no argument about it. Maybe letting go of Caruso as well is another bad decision from the Lakers.
2777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 09, 2022, 12:41:15 PM
Nobody is bringing up the dynamics of covid affecting the fight, I think brooks does better with a large loud crowd on his side

There might not even be a fight if one of them tests positive.

Or one could be recovering and that could affect them negatively

No one has yet reported that they are positive. And I think both of them love big crowds and for sure this fight will be stage with fans watching live in the O2 and then PPV.

And if one if positive for the virus then obviously, this fight will be postponed.

Kahn wins by decision

Goodluck if you are going to bet on Khan to win by decision in this fight. Majority though thinks otherwise.
2778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Tron on: February 09, 2022, 11:07:38 AM
Lol, the supply answer is the circulating supply of Tron, it is billions so obviously, the price is going to be low. As compare it to let's say bitcoin or ethereum, with low supply. So the price correlates with the circulating supply and this is one flaw of Tron. And then Justin lost his touch as a shill, investors no longer buying into his hype like dinner with Warren B to attract attention from crypto enthusiast.
2779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: February 09, 2022, 10:10:16 AM

But with the current version of Canelo? and then GGG maybe fading as he is in 40's? I think Canelo should go for him and proved once and for all that he beat GGG fair and square. But we goes on the record saying that he is no longer interested so that is a open book for us boxing fans. Canelo though will end as of the best boxers of our era and GGG on the top 3 of the best middleweights of all time.

Canelo is like the best in his generation now, but there's one guy that he really cannot dominate in the ring, and that is GGG. Maybe the reason why he is not fighting him anymore is because he knows himself that he is at a risk of losing the fight, just my personal thoughts though, don't take it seriously.
Yeah, that's why when both of them have retired, there could be a lot of arguments about that 3rd fight not happening. But no one can argue that they are the best of their division and Canelo upping up by moving in weight and becoming the first Mexican to become a 5th belt champion.

Going back to the fight, there are still no news of he schedule, but hoping that at least it will happen in the second quarter of this year as Japan is easing on their travel ban.
2780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 09, 2022, 09:19:15 AM

The last news or at least rumors is the Simmons-Harden trade but I hope this will not happen or it will be a disaster for the Nets or at least for both teams.
I like that, Nets don't need 3 scores, Durand and Irving is already enough, it's already like Lebron and Irving back when they are still with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Simons is just like the Dennis Rodman of the Bulls, he just need to be more aggressive and play harder so he can create his own brand.
As far as I know, Steve Nash put down that rumor, but who wouldn't know? Did James Harden requested to be traded or something and tells it to the media? I know that they are losing because of the injury from Durant but I doubt that it will be just the reason to ask for a trade right now. He himself is also injured with his hamstring. But we will have to wait, the trade deadline is just hours from now.
