Phoenix Suns are really like unstoppable in this season. They are even better than their performance in last season now. They seem to be very eager about winning the title at least for once. They were so close to making it last season but they stumbled against Milwaukee Bucks in the finals. But it was still a huge achievement for them and a good signal for the future. And it is really invaluable to see them this determined right after a solid season like that. Let's see if they will make it this time.
I don't have the confidence that they will be able to keep up when it comes to the playoffs. Booker is becoming a star, but he's not quite there yet and Chris Paul is aging and injury prone. I think their playoff success last year was mostly due to facing injured teams, but Ayton did make the difference. If Ayton can stay healthy and play like he did last postseason, they have a decent shot at getting to the Western Finals. I think of the Suns a bit like the Jazz right now. They're both great teams, but they lack that one thing that will be able to carry them through a series with a healthy Warriors or Lakers team. I think it's going to come down to the Bucks/Bulls/Nets in the East and the Lakers/Warriors in the west. If everyone was healthy... They have all the pieces that is enough for them to reach the WCF but I think I will agree with you that I don't think that they are on the spot where they will win the championship. We've seen many teams that are dominating the regular season but didn't got the ring and one of them is the 73-9 Warriors though they reached the Finals. With regards to CP3, the only injury that he is facing is the shoulder and his hamstring but this season he is very healthy all throughout and I hope that he will continue to be like that until the playoffs. No load management for him unlike other all-star players or maybe he will when the playoffs comes near since right now they are in a good position. With regards to the teams which will battle in both the east and west, for me its safe to say that the Lakers will enter the playoffs maybe but to win the WCF.. hmmm not even though the whole Lakers are healthy, there is the Warriors and the Suns. Maybe Warriors and Suns are the ones who will match up in WCF (my prediction) and in the east? Nets with a healthy Durant, Irving and a vaccinated Irving and the Bucks/76ers for me are the ones who will match up in ECF.

There's no way harden will leave the nets this season, all this trade discussion with Phil, you don't think the stars have the power? Are the nets really not even going to test put the big 3 of Brooklyn in a playoff run for a ring? Are they really going to do this to KD? He wants harden there, and why would they want to do this for Ben Simmons?
I don't even think Ben Simmons wants to play basketball anymore, he's just gotten engaged to the smokin' Maya Jama, he has the cash, he can't shoot, is an Aussie and seems like no drive to play unless it's the perfect spot. Yes I have read rumours James is unhappy living in Brooklyn, but ain't nobody wanna move to phili either. Just rumours and doubt highly the trade will happen. But this will most likely be 76s last ditch effort to get a real star so are pushing all the news, who else is their options? Westbrook? Lakers would trade everyone except lebron and ad for Ben but that's never going to happen. Westbrook was L O L funny coming to the 2 other stars in ln games to Milwaukee
It's just a rumor after all but seems like Ben Simmons wasn't accepted to most teams seems as he's an ugly duckling but we may not know if he'd ever surprise us to elevate again to rankings, I highly doubt it. But it's a fact in this industry that even the players themselves are shocked they got traded to another team without their consents and it's just a matter of time if we can see that thing to happen again since trade deadline is nearing and just hours to wait. Twitter will get crazy once again regarding that.

James Harden is really an unlucky player. He is giving his best in most of their games at whatever team he plays. But he still hasn't become the champion with any team so far. All of his efforts have just been in vain.
He probably lacks something in team leadership. I think he becomes too selfish sometimes and just play because he's getting paid for it. I strongly disagree with that mate, leadership isn't the issue here but he's just very unlucky to have a reliant team mates no matter what team he goes into. Harden always gave his very best to the team and to contribute every game, especially in terms of adjusting since he came to the Brooklyn Nets. This season he's averaged 22.9 PPG.

Currently, the team does not have a chance to be successful in the playoffs, when the team lacks players, their chances of winning a match are very low. It's been a bad year for Lebron (:
Playoffs are possible for them but yes, the question about being "success" is in jeopardy. They will also have a hard challenge at the end of the season starting from competing in a play-in tournament on which there's a possibility that they might not make it. And if successful to take a playoffs spot, they will surely be matched either against the dominant Phoenix Suns or Golden State Warriors. That's already a heavy challenge for them entering the playoffs. And for let's say there's a surprising event happened that they established a long winning streak later on to their remaining games this season, and ended up on 6th, still, a tough team they will face on the 1st round. I saw a news on the internet, it said: The Lakers have accepted that the Russell Westbrook experiment was a failure Westbrook should be traded with a good player. Maybe it's also a test that they are previously sitting Westbrook at the final minutes when he is off-night throughout the game. I wonder what's the Lakers' conclusion about it. I agree with what you said. Going to the playoffs is not difficult, there are playoff level players in this team. But they will be eliminated after 1 or 2 rounds. We all know that they will not be successful in this situation There has been talk of Josh Richardson joining the Lakers. It can be useful for the team, he's playing with good statistics this season

Playoffs is a game 7 series compared to a regular season matches which didn't let players adjust for there mistake for a rematch game. Lebron is a genius in terms of adjusting and knowing the weakness of the enemy team assuming all his team mates is very healthy. I still believe that Lakers will do a comeback play this year, Just remove the hindrance player and improve the bench scrore because that's there current weakness whenever davis and lebron is already feeling the fatigue. Trading Kuzma for westbrook is really a very bad decision. I would have to agree that getting Westbrook didn't blend well with Lebron and AD, it's obvious by now that there is no chemistry and Westbrook play as Lakers is a far cry when he was in Washington. Kuzma though is doing good in Wizards uniform already so there is no argument about it. Maybe letting go of Caruso as well is another bad decision from the Lakers.

^^ Even Joe himself said in a tweet that it hurts him to be traded as he has call Utah his home for the last 8 years. But no one is untouchable in this league, if the management feels you are a liability then you are going to be traded.
And we could say that he is one of the fan favorites in Utah, and for sure they are going to miss him.
I cannot blame the Jazz for the trade since he's already ruled out for the entire season. It's business and they probably thought it's a good time to do so while he still has some value. At least in Blazer's mind, he could still become a decent 3-point shooter after recovering from injury. The 3-way trade: Utah receives: * Nickeil Alexander-Walker (via Portland) * Juancho Hernangomez (via San Antonio)
Portland receives: * Joe Ingles (via Utah) * Elijah Hughes (via Utah) * Second-round pick (via Utah)
San Antonio receives: * Tomas Satoransky (via Portland) * Second-round pick (via Utah) ^ I think Utah wins this one.

^Juancho Hernangomez was just traded and now he is moving again. Is there something worst than jet lag? Utah wins, that's true but it aches me to see Joe Ingles being traded. He is one of the faces of Utah Jazz and it's kind of awkward for me when I see him in a different uniform. Perhaps this is what Dame will need, a veteran perspective. Unselfish player and mostly relies on plays even if he doesn't shoot the ball the whole game. I bet he doesn't even care about his stats.

I think that the most competitive game of the night was Portland Trail Blazers vs Los Angeles Lakers. First of all, it was a game between close teams in the standings. We watched a very balanced game in all of the quarters. At Lakers, Lebron performed as always and he got 30 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Anthony Davis followed him by 17 points. All that effort still wasn't enough to win this game. Lakers are still in a risky situation as they are under the threat of being thrown out of the playoff spots.

Its the same situation as what happened to Ricky Rubio. When he got the season-ending injury, the Cavaliers traded him immediately and got Rajon Rondo which is right now a perfect fit for the team. I think that both the Cavaliers and the Jazz are doing it because they are a playoff contender and they want their roster as healthy as possible. Well, no one is safe when it comes to trade. Anybody can be traded. Getting traded really hurts for both the team and the player themselves but its part of the game and they must live with it. The 3-way trade: Utah receives: * Nickeil Alexander-Walker (via Portland) * Juancho Hernangomez (via San Antonio)

Now that McCollum got traded to New Orleans, I think its safe to say that the Trail Blazers are in a rebuilding phase isn't it?? Maybe next year we might see Lillard leaving the team too. There are rumors already during last off-season regarding this but he chose to stay with the team.

Well, that nobody can blame Westbrook for the Lakers loss tonight, and this got to be an evidence that the Lakers still suck lol. I won't gonna be surprised If the Laker roster will be different tomorrow. There is no rumors about Westbrook being traded, but I've seen a trade for THT. Who knows the Lakers will find a way to dispose Westbrook lol. What the Lakers need isn't a new roster, they need a defense, solid defense.

... Nope he's not lacking with leadership skills since we see how harden adjust to his current line up and can able to provide quality number to help up his team
He has a pretty high assist per game with the Nets which is a good sign he's trying but I'm also counting his days with the Rockets as coderben said "at whatever team he plays". Another thing is that leadership goes beyond what we see on the court. Maybe he needs to impose himself more like what MJ and Kobe did in their respective teams. I think Lebron is pretty vocal too. He cannot do that because they have kyrie on the team which is a huge headache to them. So I guess they need to eliminate the main problem on their team because if kyrie will still act like that for sure this can totally destroy their team chemistry. If Nets management could only trade kyrie then provably we can see how Durant and harden perform well, but unfortunately they can't do thus since kyrie always want to steal the show and want to be the main star on the team.

Bulls contributed to Hornets' losing streak last night by defeating them 121-109. Hornets have been losing for six weeks now. When it comes to the performances of the players, DeRozan played extra again and scored 36 points. LaVine was right behind him by 27 points. These players both had a big role in this win. Bulls really fascinate me by their awesome effort in the regular season. If they keep this up in the playoffs too, they might get really close to the finals too after a break of many years.

~ Since Ingles is injured with this trade, I agree that the Jazz won the trade even though the players involved in this trade aren't that popular aside from Ingles.
Apart from the injury, let's try to compare the stats. Nickeil's 3-point percentage is a little lower than Joe but that's still over 30%. His PPG is in double figures which is higher. He is also younger and could play more minutes. If he's as good as his stats says, he could be very helpful to the Jazz's playoff run. ^Juancho Hernangomez was just traded and now he is moving again. Is there something worst than jet lag? As long as he gets a team and a decent contract, that should be good.

It's inconsistency on the part of the Hornets, and when Hayward goes down, and so is the team. They are very strong contender for the playoffs, but they have to bring some specially after the all star break. They close the gap in the fourth quarter, but DeRozan and Vecuvic and then White hitting 3 at the corner did it for the Bulls. So it's good to see the Bulls are back because DeRozan are healthy now.

I agree with what you said. Going to the playoffs is not difficult, there are playoff level players in this team. But they will be eliminated after 1 or 2 rounds. We all know that they will not be successful in this situation There has been talk of Josh Richardson joining the Lakers. It can be useful for the team, he's playing with good statistics this season A healthy Davis and Lebron play different during playoffs sir. Westbrook in Lakers uniform was really far from expectations, it's really clear for me as I watched him every game that WB don't want to adapt nor adjust that's why he can't blend well with others especially with LBJ and AD. Kuzma though is doing good in Wizards uniform already so there is no argument about it. Maybe letting go of Caruso as well is another bad decision from the Lakers. I couldn't agree more, including Caruso to the trade was really a bad decision. The man certainly got skills and contributes well in the team. As for Kuzma, he needs to be traded in other team in-order to grow and develop his skills more. I mean just look at the kid now at the Wizards, he really improved well.

Portland receives: * Joe Ingles (via Utah) * Elijah Hughes (via Utah) * Second-round pick (via Utah)
San Antonio receives: * Tomas Satoransky (via Portland) * Second-round pick (via Utah) ^ I think Utah wins this one. Since Ingles is injured with this trade, I agree that the Jazz won the trade even though the players involved in this trade aren't that popular aside from Ingles. Now that McCollum got traded to New Orleans, I think its safe to say that the Trail Blazers are in a rebuilding phase isn't it?? Maybe next year we might see Lillard leaving the team too. There are rumors already during last off-season regarding this but he chose to stay with the team. Correct, Blazers are rebuilding around Dame Lillard unless he leaves the team too. But if they can surround him with a good player, like a second option and then players that understand their roles maybe Portland will progress next season. It's just sad to see that Dame might have been had his best years with the Blazers and yet was not able to bring any ring for the City.

Truly sad but it's not his fault and Trail Blazers fans knows that and so does their management. All they could do is bring more players that will magnify the greatness of Lillard. He is like DeRozan back in Toronto but look at him now reaping all the hardwork he did and the addition of Coach Pops discipline. Chicago Bulls might make it to the Finals with a full healthy roster. Trail Blazers just need to find the right people to surround him, built a chemistry and who knows, they might make it next time to the crown.

I think this its the point built the chemistry between the player, if this go wrong all go wrong, and when i say chemistry i say IN and OUTSIDE the court. You can see the Lakers a MEGA names playing together and..... nothings happens they cant fight with her egos and cant make a good team. You know what a good chemistry was? San Antonio Spurs. Tim Tony and MANU in the base of the team and every guys who joins them its even better. You only need ONE or TWO stars and a lot of humble and working guys that its the key for a succes team. I really like the trades made for Portland but still a unknow.

This is pretty crazy.. I wonder why Harden is wanting out of Jersey. I know Durant is injured and all but when those big three Harden, Durant and Kyrie are all healthy, there is no question that they are the best team in the league. I have never liked Harden, always viewed him as a selfish little bitch and this is only further strengthening that case. That said I would happily take him on the Bulls lol EDIT: Harden has been traded to the Sixers!

EDIT: Harden has been traded to the Sixers!
Just read the report from Chams... Looks like Harden for Simmons is a done deal. Pretty exciting move for both teams as Simmons wasn't playing and Harden has been terrible this year. I think it's a win-win for both teams as a result. I think Harden and Embid makes a better combination than Embid and Simmons. I'm not sure how Simmons will fit in with the Nets, but I think given that Kyrie and Durant both love to shoot the ball, his style of play won't be as out of place as it was with the Sixers. I'm looking forward to seeing Simmons play again and although I'm not sure if he is a "big 3" type of guy, he'll definitely have a chance to prove himself. It can't be worse than the Harden experiment.
