Really looking forward to seeing the Warriors and Lakers, but I suspect that Golden State will be leaving with the W.

I think the Lakers will have a chance to beat the Warriors if LeBron, Davis, and Westbrook play tonight. It's worth noting that the status of those 3 players is probably. Despite the fact that they will likely play tonight, it's not good for the Lakers in any case because key players already have minor injuries, even though the regular season hasn't even started yet.
They just decided to sit them up, most likely they don't want this 3 to get injured or something. So they didn't force anything in this game.

Here is Harden's move against Smart

If he could just made the shot though, Lol.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: October 19, 2022, 08:14:19 AM
Good job my Manny if the proceeds of this fight will go to the homeless people and it seems that he is really going full in this exhibition fight.

Still win-win for him, I mean he can earn some money, at the same time he can still help people in his country and who knows, he will still run for the Presidency in the next election.

Betting on this fight? Nah, I'll skip, but will watch and see how Manny is and it could bring us some memories like he was still in his prime.
1763  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may drop to $15k or so but it'll definitely hit $300k+ in coming years on: October 18, 2022, 09:56:00 PM
These are just my thoughts and opinions. Of course anything can happen.

I'm no financial expert so take my predictions with a grain of salt.

I was pretty spot on predicting this bear market back in May 2021 (btc price $37,258):
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5338953
Thanks for the prediction mate, of course, everything here is just base on pure and wild educated guess. But who knows, maybe $300k is down the line for us. At least we all prepared for the best and worst of this current 4 year cycle.

So definitely looking in the next bull run in 2024-25. Definitely gong to be an exciting one as prediction are leaning towards to at least 6 digits.
1764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is due for a big break on: October 18, 2022, 09:29:37 PM
It's been undervalued and passed over by many pump and dumps over the years. It's a solid alt coin to use alongside Bitcoin.
Agree, it's because it is being treated as the brother of Bitcoin only. But nevertheless, it's solid and has been in the market for many years.

Accepted more places than any other crypto, Litecoin is one of the few altcoins that I actually use.

It's low fee, fast confirmations and 2nd oldest crypto. Can't go wrong in my opinion.
Yes, but I don't see it having a break out run in this bear market. I mean everyone is down, but you can buy it right now and hold and wait for it to have a good run in 2024. Obviously, a new all time high is to be expected.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: October 18, 2022, 09:11:43 PM
It’s good to see Casimero back after so many dramas happened before with his supposed matches, and finally he decided to have a match again.
Yes, he has been in hell in the last 6 months of this year, he was riding on a big momentum on the bantamweight, unfortunately, his weight issues did it for him.
His team should already learned their lesson, they should monitor the weight of Casimero of else this fight will not push through again. Casimero also need to focus so we can see him fighting again. Is this match already settled? Can’t wait to see him back again after a few months of being inactive. I’m not familiar with Akaho but I’m sure he’s a good boxer as well because he is being matched with Casimero.
Right, a big lesson for his team and they should hire a professional dietitian to watch the food he eat so that he can maintain within the fighting weight of 122 lbs. Otherwise, it Casimero's weight balloon again, we might see another problem. But in any case, yes the fight is definitely a go for him and this fight is already settled. And we can only hope that it will be the same Casimero that campaign in 118 lbs, he had the power and the heart to go toe to toe against anyone.
1766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 18, 2022, 08:52:40 PM
I don't know if Green and Klay's contract will be extended, and it must've been hard for GM Bob Myers to make a decision knowing that both of them are a huge part of the past dynasty that gave them 3 titles. Let's just hope that they will be given at least 1–2-year contract maybe.

These two are the star players of the team, there's no way they won't be extended, probably they'll not get a max salary but the management will surely consider them still playing with the team. Actually, it's not only about the talent, it's about the chemistry of the team and it has been Klay, Curry, and Draymond Green who made this team a championship team.
Or loyalty (if there is such a word from this sports athlete?), I mean willing to get pay check just to chase another champion because they have built the chemistry already and they have the blue print to do it.

And so that is the only chance that I see Green still staying with the Warriors specially if he is not being offered the max contract next season.
1767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 18, 2022, 08:35:52 PM
Would you be influenced by your favourite Celebrity who you know gambles and one day happens to post the games he played, would you be influenced to play the same game
Actually I can be influenced in some of his life style but not in gambling. He is a professional in singing, not in gambling, this will make me not play the same game with my favorite celebrity because I know that I might lose. I know of a case that this guy is always forecasting numbers and winning, also predicting matches too,so every morning so many persons will go to him to forecast the day game for them or they play same game. It was working initially that I was also tempted to get numbers and scores him but I said no,that day his prediction was wrong and so many persons lost with him. To my surprise the game turned around to favour me so since then I learnt to always believe in yourself not someone when gambling because our lucks differ.
Even in his singing career though, lol, I don't know how you can be influence by Drake. However, I can't judge you by that, maybe we are of different age. But as far as gambling, I don't look up for this celebrities, Drake could bet as much as he can, but if that is not my favorite sport that he is betting then obviously I won't be betting. And even if that is the game that I usually bet, I still not going to follow or influence by him.

Yes, I agree on the way Casimiro plays the match and I thing it’s part of his strategy to distract his opponent. Akaho also have an interesting records, this might not be an easy comeback for Casimero so better for him to be prepared, physically and mentally or else this might be a nightmare comeback for him.
But at least before the year ends, his promoter was able to secure a fight and knowing Casimero, he loves to travel and fight to the opponents backyard and beat them. I'm expecting that Casimero will go full throttle just like his previous fights wherein it is very exciting.
1769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What problem does Bitcoin solve? on: October 17, 2022, 08:49:11 PM
I don't know if Satoshi has this in his mind when he created bitcoin. His initial design was for bitcoin to be a payment scheme, P2P.

Nevertheless it evolved so much since the beginning, to the point that people thinks that it will solve every problem, including poverty, lol. And so we don't need to complicate things here, just use it for it's intended purpose and then some.
1770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: October 15, 2022, 01:16:18 AM
Of course, as boxing fans, our expectations are going to be high for this fight to happen, both are champion and again, prime vs prime. Unfortunately, both sides are not agreeing in some terms that's why at least for this year, the November fight is cancelled.

I'm also not expecting this fight to happen this month. But chances to happen maybe next year. Boxing fans should not expect this fight anymore but next year, lots of time to fix the issues of why this fight didn't happen this year.

If next year, the fight still has not happened, they say goodbye forever on their bout. That was unfortunate.
*Sigh*, but true, we should not expect the match to happen anytime soon, there are no media update and seems both boxers might be looking for the next biggest alternative at 147-154 lbs.

Maybe they are going to push it next year, who knows, maybe after they have a separate fight and win against tough opponent, the hype could still be there for us boxing fans. But this year? say goodbye to it.
1771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk is one of the keys to be 100k$ per Bitcoin? on: October 15, 2022, 01:03:55 AM
indeed Elon Musk is very influential because his words are always heard and discussed, and indeed I think it could be because Elon's words will make bitcoin prices increase, but in my opinion it's only a small part, because I think most of it makes bitcoin prices fly high is, world economic factors. if the world economy is advanced, surely there will be a lot of investment in bitcoin, and eventually the price of bitcoin will go up greatly, but if the world economy goes down there will not be many people who invest, even many will sell their bitcoins, and will use them for their daily needs them and finally the price of bitcoin can go down greatly, because if the economic factor collapses, of course the first will prioritize daily needs and needs.
He was known and very influential because of his words and the way he talks to the public, he is really enticing with huge ambitions and sometimes, unrealistic things come out of his mind. Yes, he can do and influence in social media but it was different in crypto. Might say he holds a lot of Bitcoin but it was no enough to move it high as bullish. No, there is limitations to that and I believe that Elon Musk is not too capable of moving it.
Yes, he could have a lot of bitcoin holdings, but we all know that he sold some already, but maybe there are still a lot in his wallet. And with that said, I don't think he will be too big for bitcoin, or at least move it to be very bullish in the next bull run.

The whole ecosystem will have to work in unison again to push it to new all time high in 2024-2025, and not just one person or one billionaire like Elon Musk. And I think his influence to bitcoin market is not that huge as compare when he was just starting here.
1772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 15, 2022, 12:21:46 AM
The Warriors can't afford to suspend Green especially now that there's not much time in his contract as they are not that sure if they will really give him his demands, we cannot deny that Green is one of the vital players of their roster and plays a huge part in their center's defense so it's somehow expected that they will just give him a light punishment because of that reason. But that said, they are also neglecting Poole's situation, they have already talked but I think Poole is not forgiving him because of that especially his family.
If there's no sincere forgiveness for each other, then that will create a chemistry problem. Warriors are great and one of the reasons is their good chemistry. Soon we will witness the regular season, so let's just see if the team was really affected with that incident.
At this point, Curry and Klay are very vital parts of the team, and Poole became a very very important part of it as well, do they really need Green? Like truly asking, do they "need" him? The word need means this, for example last year if they didn't had Green, but instead got someone else from the free agency for minimum wage, the best they can, would they still win it?

I know that green is smart and knows the playbook inside out, and that allows him to be crucial part of the team, but he is getting worse and worse and worse each year at this point he just doesn't feel like he worths all the headache he brings anymore and could be not even resigned anymore, because he just doesn't worth keeping around with all is troubles.
Not to judge him hastily,  but I think this season might be a good gauge if Green is still a good choice for the Warriors to sign an extension next year, or he is really getting that old and need to be replace by someone young and fresh or even in the Warriors team right now.

And there are a lot of speculations and for sure him and Poole could have patch up things, but we just don't know. These high level athletes are very competitive. And maybe the Warriors will live it like that until next season and decided which direction they want to go with this guys.
1773  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull Market, Is it going to come soon or Will People have to Wait More.. on: October 14, 2022, 07:38:43 PM
1) Do you believe it will be at approx. same price or will it go up or down, its better if u share some insights in support of your opinion
No one knows.

2) Do you think due to Bitcoin , the other altcoins may lose its charm , and go nearly dead, such as BCH ..
Again, although there could be some correlation between the two markets, we don't know what will happen to altcoin because there are tons of them. And also a handful can be could solid.

3) Do you believe only the mass Bitcoin Adoption by more countries can bring a bull market..
Bitcoin will have it's bull run regardless of there are countries that are going to adopt it or make it legal tender. Bull run happens every 4 years.

4) Do u Think it has something to do with global Inflation, where even stock market is on ventilators..
Obviously, global market are tied to each other, so it has something to do with it, however, just for short term effects only.

1774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 14, 2022, 07:08:02 PM
Wilder didn't have epic fights to win. This is probably his problem - he farmed excellent statistics for himself on ordinary opponents, but could not level up to become really great. Wilder didn't have epic fights to win. This is probably his problem - he farmed excellent statistics for himself on ordinary opponents, but could not level up to become really great.
I think you have heard of such a boxer as Valuev. He has incredible fight statistics: 50 wins with only two losses. But there is hardly anyone who considers him great (or interesting for something other than his size haha), and even I will say that most sports fans, if they are not from Russia, most likely have not heard of him.
Wilder is of course the more flamboyant boxer, but I see similarities between these two professional boxing careers.

It's because Wilder just rely on his God given talent, that is one punch KO, but if it fails then there is no back up. He is not a technical boxer, he can't dance inside the ring, and that is his downfall.

And when he faces a technical fighter in Fury, he was really exposed. He got lucky in the first fight because he was able to knock down Fury, but Tyson get up from the best shot of Wilder and beat his ass on the second. So he is good but not on the elite level, and most Heavyweight boxers that is considered great are somewhat technical, and has both power and boxing IQ.

Wilder switched to boxing late compared to other professional athletes so his technical problems have obvious reasons (if I'm not mistaken, he chose boxing after basketball), but it must be admitted that he has grown professionally throughout his career and although such a large gap in athletic youth cannot be completely corrected, Wilder has achieved a lot.
By the way, if in a fight with Fury he would have been a little more successful (for example, Fury could have remained lying down after knockouts), then now we would evaluate Wilder in a completely different way.
But Fury get up from that big punch and finished the fight although the decision is somewhat sketchy. And it doesn't matter if he switched to boxing late, I mean he keep on winning fights at Barclays and then become a champion and there are talks about him and AJ fighting for the undisputed until Fury derail all the plans. So he is fighting Helenius, which I think he can defeated. But it might be a different fight if it will be Usyk or even Andy Ruiz Jr.
1775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social Betting Platform - Bet Your Beans - Betting Application Feedback on: October 14, 2022, 06:31:53 PM
KYC and delay in withdrawal and then support sucks. It's really hard to play on that kind of platform, specially if you win big and let's say you did in the right way and you are just lucky to win. And suddenly the site ask you for KYC and then the withdrawal process took days to the point that you feel that the site is trying not to give you your winnings, in short trying to scam you, that will be the worst experience ever.
1776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What efforts have you made to raise bitcoin awareness in your community? on: October 14, 2022, 06:15:53 PM
For me I'm not doing any conscious enough to spread awareness about bitcoin. It's better if they will have to discover it themselves and see how they will benefit it from investing or trading BTC.

I mean how can you raise awareness if they are not into it? You can talk about if for hours but when you go home, these people might dismiss it and forget about what you have talk earlier about bitcoin.
1777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 14, 2022, 05:58:50 PM
Paul Butler probably knows that already that's why he is just taking an advantage while he can earn because there's really no way that Butler can give Inoue a hard time especially with the monster's current abilities. Butler may have a delicious odds on this fight but I doubt it will tempt the bettors because his chances are almost near to impossible, Inoue via knockout is much better rather than betting with a decision with low odds.
I guess even the Inoue to win by KO odds are still very low unless we will make it harder like guessing what round Butler will go down. As of now, it's still hard to decide since we have not seen the betting odds yet, so we can be a little patient while continuing to be optimistic that nothing can stop this fight from being postponed or canceled.

Exactly. This is Inoue's domain and its his time. If Inoue can beat the top champs who are better than Butler, its hard to see Inoue not going to win nor draw. Better odds in picking which round he'll win. Most of his fights ended with a TKO, that's a tipoff.  Round 3 is probably my best guess where ref will stop the fight.
Yes, if we are going to go with the odds in this fight, it's better to look for KO and in which round. Below 7.5 is a good estimate by the odds is not going to be high as well.

So picking which rounds Inoue will win by knockout, just like what he did to Donaire, just 2 rounds. Maybe Butler might survived a bit longer at 3 or 4 rounds
1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse is the future on: October 13, 2022, 12:02:37 PM
I do agree that it is a buzz word now, I myself was really surprised that everyone is on the bandwagon, even countries have adapted it.

And so I believed that it could be the next biggest  hype to come, it's that we are in a bear market that's why the growth is very slow. But just imagine if it come into a bullish sentiments for sure there will be a lot of projects popping up and many investors FOMO and doesn't want to miss the boat.

But the question is, what can metaverse really offer to us or to non crypto enthusiast?
1779  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency is silent why? on: October 13, 2022, 11:32:44 AM
Is cryptocurrency silent? Not here mate. There's a lot of noise going on locally and globally. Prices are at dip but they are temporary. Old banks and new financial institutions are getting licenses and partnerships in my country and I love it. I do hope they won't pressure and bribe our local government to block the entry of Binance. Binance is pretty sure would take a huge percentage of our local market. Binance a few days ago just opened its New Zealand operations. There's just a lot of news and developments of crypto mate from web 3, to the metaverse and many more.
Maybe OP does not explore the crypto world that much thats why he does not receive or aware of what is going on here , there are so many happenings in crypto world and even there are lots of FUD and dumping happening so how could he say that it is silent ?
and besides this forum is more than enough to show how the market and the crypto world is moving here and there.
if he is a true investor? then I believe he will never make such comment meaning he is not aware of what is truly happening in the market.

As far as I understand what he is saying, the silence here means that the market is not bullish, not that it does not have any activity. OP is just trying to look at price movements and doesn't care about market activities and this is why many people will get bored and leave the market when bear season comes. It can be said that everything is still operating normally, the projects are still continuing to build and develop non-stop, it can only be that the price is not noisy.
Yes, and this is likely cyclical, we are in a bear market so obviously others may have close or not very active in their trading account. Or simply just buying and accumulating like 2018.

And it's like this for the last 4 months if I'm not mistaken and can go up to the end of the year so it's quite boring. But nevertheless, for those who have been in the market already, perfect time to accumulate and save bitcoin in our wallet and hold. And when the market is back alive again, at least we are ahead, with some just waiting to be sell during all time high to make huge profit.
1780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: October 13, 2022, 11:22:31 AM
Even 168 seems to be few for Dmitry. He is a big guy by nature. I just cant imagine him being 168. Dmitry seems to be +85kg in off season and 79.4 (or 175lbs) on the scales. Dropping almost 10kg just to have a rematch? It is Canelo, who needs to gain weight and fight in 175, to rebuild reputation. Canelo needs to beat Dmitry "on Dmitry's field", to gain confidence and respect back. What is the point for Dmitry to cut, when it was Canelo who wanted to test himself in light heavyweight.
Yes, I think if there will be a rematch between Dmitry and Saul Alvarez it will be 175 lbs. Alvarez can definitely made 175 lbs easy, but Bivol will have problems making that weight.

And if I'm not mistaken, the first fight is 175 lbs so not sure why they need to change in the rematch unless Alvarez wants to take advantage of making Bivol life very difficult because he will have to squeeze his body to super middleweight.
