my LTC is stuck at My Orders.... I am unable to cancel it after many tries...
Same happened to me, the funds vanished after 2 days.

My feathercoins are still locked in because a bug swaps the amount from positive to negative when you try to authenticate. I had 20 FTC disappear from the system, they were in an order for almost 2 days which I couldn't cancel for some reason, now today gone, not in either the FTC or LTC accounts.

Good, lest hope they respond to support tickets, I am still missing coins from my account and lodged two tickets about it, the first one two days ago, no replies.

On my netbook, the new blocks come in faster than it can sync up. yay for the usability of ChinaCoin as an actual currency apart from trollbox games. /edit/ is my pool broken or did the profitability actually go down by 75% over the last 2 hours Yeah that's what I said way back in the thread, a 1minute block target is a joke for practical applications, it's too fast. The coin is just an early adopter fast production scam.

Yes you can sell without CE/FCC for unintentional radiators, and even self certifiy if a complaint is filed, and an investigation is launched, and the product is found to not be compliant, they could be forced to halt production, then fall in line with part 15 requirements.
Source: I googled your question.
I just checked the compliance marks which are acceptable for electrical goods coming into my state (NSW, Australia). CE is not sufficient. Overseas Certificates of Approval and approval marks, such as the CE mark, are not acceptable in Australia. http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/Businesses/Product_safety/Electrical_articles/Safe_electrical_goods.html#Acceptable_approval_marksThe mining hardware doesn't directly connect to the electrical supply, the power pack does, so it is the item that has to be certified, and you could simple go to the shop an buy one locally that is certified if necessary for insurance or whatever. UL certification seems to be accepted in most of Australia. You could run the device of a battery and thus bypass the definition in the regulations

Lack of substance on the website. Smells fishy.

These database driven sites just don't seem to be able to handle a moderate number of hits without some elaborate server setup.

well i hope it goes live again, i've got some of my LTCs there me 2, had about 200 LTC and a few k FTC left in there. fun fun. Puff, I had lot of LTC I was trading there. Hope this guys come back soon. Anyone has any information about the site managers? I only had 20FTC on there, so no big deal, still annoys me on principle though. Bter.com seems to be working well.

Has PPC been added, I have not found a public PPC p2pool yet.

CHNcoin will have more total coins than feathercoin, 462 million compared to 380 million, and its "blazing fast confirmations" are even more "blazing fast" with block targets of 1 minute! At the moment a block is being found approximately every 2-3 seconds. How's that for "blazing fast"? It's also getting attention faster than Feathercoin did at launch. It's only been 7 hours since the launch and the forum is already filled up with threads about CHN. I predict it'll be on an exchange within a week. Basically it makes Feathercoin completely redundant. For early adoption go to CHNcoin, for stability go to Litecoin. And with the upcoming difficulty increase things are only going to get worse for Feathercoin. What does Feathercoin still offer? Ultimately I hope that new useless coins like these come so quickly that no one has enough time to amass large quantities of coins before the next one comes along. It'll remove the incentive to do it and then people can get back to actually innovating. You make me laugh if you honestly think CNCoin will be used for transactions other than exchange rate gambling. 1 min blocks, that should make for an interesting block chain length in a years time or so if it lasts that long. Why stop there, lets have a 1sec block target.
But I don't understand why it was created at all, let alone why people are spending effort moving it forward. Since it is a direct copy of Litecoin you can only move it 'forward' at the expense of Litecoin. Why not spend that effort promoting Litecoin if you're so concerned about the crypto community? Or is it only the Feathercoin community you're concerned about?
It's just another pump and dump, many here will fall for it.

it's already back down to Net Hash: 3848.43 MH/s

So far the exchange is working well for me, a lot better experience than I had with cryptonit.com the last few days.
Thumbs up

Sounds incredibly energy hungry if you won't be able to use FPGA/ASIC. Energy hungry is the last thing the plant needs, I shudder to think what smartphones would be like if we didn't adopt transistors and integrated circuits for energy efficiency.

FC is dead soon
All scrypt coins will die, a flawed design from day one. This is all about a fast adopter coin mine and dump, you will see many of these. Mincoin, CNCoin, Feathercoin, etc. will all die, LTC will hang on for a while as it was the first scrypt coin, then it too will die unless low power ways to mine it evolve to sustain the network. Notice none of these new coins start off with a reasonable difficulty from day one? They always benefit the early adopters in the first 24hours or so, that's the game plan. There is noting preventing them having moderate difficulty from day one, instead of ultra low.

I
Mincoin is not garbage, it's the rarest and fastest coin out there! One day it will trade higher then bitcoin that's for sure.
No it won't the design is garbage it will dies like all the scrypt based coins, unless someone invents low power ASIC's to mine them. The coins that win in the end will be low power fast transaction, with no requirement to store a local copy of the entire block chain. Scrypt was designed to be a power waste, it was intended to prevent brute force attacks, not for coins.

hey look at that Difficulty=82
Network Hashrate: 5587.19 MH/s WOOOOOW!
Yesterday it was 2500!!!
Well the coins/day just halved for me when the difficulty went to 82. I can't see why people are putting more hashing power into it now, the missed the easy train, that's almost half the LTC hash rate which was 12,000 MH/s the other day.

60sec block target, what a joke.
|
|
|
seems strange the price is falling instead of rising.
Not really. Feathercoin is old news now. CHNcoin is the new flavor of the week. The smart money have already dumped their feathercoins and moved on. CHNcoin has a 60sec block discovery target. Thats too short, bound to cause problems. This looks a lot like a pump and dump with little regard for the practicallity.

seems strange the price is falling instead of rising.
AS production volume increases, because of all the hashing power, price falls, a bit. When difficulty rises latter today production will go down, thus price will skyrocket. I hope so, atm for a lot of people it wont be covering the power costs: http://benhohner.com/feathercoin/Estimated Network Hashrate 2,335,240 KHash/s (over last 1788 blocks) Time to Retarget 0 day(s), 4 hour(s), 45 min, 26 sec Next Difficulty 86.994477346339 Total Coins Mined 5599200
