2781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling or Casino gambling? on: February 26, 2020, 01:59:12 AM
I want to know what do you prefer between online gambling and casino gambling? Is it better for you to play online or land-based casino?

First things first, Online gambling happens through the use of the internet as simple as that, and casino gambling is no on the internet, so basically, it is the building or rooms for social amusements, where your body is required to play the gamble.

Let us consider the advantages and disadvantages of both kinds of gambling.
Online Gambling
Advantages
1. Convenience - You can play the game anywhere and anytime, and that is so good for some gamblers that they are the ones who decide when and where to start playing.
2. Promotion - there are a lot of gambling sites that give some promotion to their loyal users.
Disadvantages
1. Less communication - When you play online, you cannot communicate and socialize with anyone because there is no interactions happen.
2. The award or prizes - if you are playing online and you win the game, then you cannot claim the prize as soon as possible because it takes a process.

Casino Gambling
Advantages
1. Ambiance - When you play in the real casino, you will feel that you are really in the casino because of its ambiance.
2. Interaction - When you are playing in a real casino, of course, you will get interaction with some people there so you may have friends.
Disadvantages
1. Time Wasting -It is not like online games that you are responsible when and where to play the game, so in a real casino, you need to go to the casino to play the game.
2. Pressure - The pressure is there because you can see some reactions to your opponents.

These are what I know about the difference of Online gambling and casino gambling, so if you know more than that, you may comment on this post.
Both have their advantages and disadvantages but the online gambling is becoming trendy since you could just do it anywhere if you have an internet connection and your device also the cryptocurrency or cashless society is becoming more popular from the past years no wonder why this kind of gambling is also getting trendy.

I have seen some news where online bingo is also starting to accept cryptocurrency.

2782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / One of the Richest Man in Russia Launching his own Token on: February 25, 2020, 01:11:25 PM
Vladimir Potanin one of the world billionaires and also in the list of richest Russian people Want to launch his own token.
Potanin already has the approval from their central bank to launch his own token, the token is going to be used by his clients to buy metals, air tickets, and transfer ski passes from his businesses.
I think Potanin actually acknowledge cryptocurrency having a smooth transaction from his clients and eliminating the paperwork and middlemen, also having a speed up transactions.

ATOMYZE CRYPTO TOKENS ,

“The main idea of tokenization is not in buying or trading cryptocurrencies; it lies in the creation of a modern and transparent mechanism for digitizing of assets, and in the creation of new digital markets, where tokenization is a service helping issuers transfer rights to their assets into a digital form.” explained Atomyze CEO, Marco Grossi.

Binance already supports euros and pounds with the help of eBay, Just this Monday Binace announce that you can now deposit and withdraw Hongkong dollars so that you could trade cryptocurrency.
In just a small-time a lot of gateways are opened by finance offering it from different countries launching this gateway so that they could convert from their currency to a cryptocurrency.
No wonder why Binance is a popular exchange adding so many currencies to pushes global expansion.

Binance has faced another area of business within the blockchain  space. I think CZ always has a passion for advancement in loads of technological developments. He shares the fate with Mack Zuckerberg of Facebook. He keeps deploying things that will help people in a particular region connect to the crypto space within a short while and locally create a bridge to connect it to what they have readily available.
As one of the top cryptocurrency exchanges I think the Binance has a lot of plans with it comes to expanding their exchanges a lot of good news adding different altcoins in their exchanges form the news..

There are so many reports I heard 15 fiat currency are also added from Binance this February and still continue to grow, Already Binance has a good reputation from different communities and i think this is one of the top exchanges that could be for long term. The Binance CEO is pretty active for sure the exchange is going to get a lot of partnerships from different companies.
2784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guys, be aware of a new scam! Stay safe with your funds! on: February 25, 2020, 12:41:42 PM
As the crypto community become smart, scammers are not just sitting there. They are making new plans to scam people. Recently a smart scam idea they whelp and that is youtube live streaming! Lots of people are falling those scams even one of my crypto mentors shared that link to participate!

Scammers are hacking youtube channels which have at least 10K subscribers to 80K! Then they collect some famous crypto meetup or interview videos! Later they make live streaming with that downloaded video, and announce a giveaway of 100K BTC or 100K ETH, BCH, XRP and so on! Can you imagine how smart this shit idea is? However, at the corner or left side of that live streaming they add a live transaction banner where you can see that if you send 1 Ethereum, you will get 5 or 10 Ethereum instantly!

If you ever fall in that trap means you are done, you fall in the scam and lost your money forever! Guys, be aware, always check a coin's official twitter handle to verify every giveaway! Don't fall in the scam, let scammers cry and die!

Exactly what happened in this thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5227737.0

This is Exodus wallet is the one that hacking youtube channel having their Livestream promoting the wallet. Look ironic since people will not trust this kind of wallet if they are promoting it from a hacked account.
But also I see a post from Exodus wallet Fb page that they see youtube channel get hacked and pretending to be exodus wallet...

I follow a video editing channel on YouTube from a guy called Jack Cole. Recently his channel completely changed. The image and name were set to Exodus Wallet and they delisted all of his videos. He has more than 200k subscribers and now they are live streaming some fake promotional Exodus stuff where you click a link and go to a fake Exodus page where you are prompted to input your seeds.

Please help take this down immediately as some beginners might lose their money falling for the scam.

Here's the video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKcDKZHZP10

Here's the scam page: [DO NOT ENTER YOUR INFO HERE]  https://exodus.promo/

Here's a legit video from the original channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbnh8-T2wn4

If you Google "Jack Cole Video Editing YouTube" you will find the name of the channel is still Jack Cole but when you click it you see it's been hacked.

In short, avoid downloading or visiting any website that is unknown or closed source.
Check out the address again, read and verify the first 4 words in Bitcoin or altcoin. or the last ome.

An old trick is to copy address in two parts.
Exactly... you could easily recognize suspicious links if the link look suspicious it is better not to click it or verify it first before opening it to your computer.

~
You made your point this are great tips to protect your computer from possible hacking..

Thanks for the information!

2788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: February 25, 2020, 09:05:13 AM

I think it was all a trend in the past years where ICO is popular, A lot of altcoins in the market are all dead obviously in the past years I have a lot of holdings (altcoins) trading it was a good move in my opinion since the price movement has a bit of volatility in it you could still make some profit through it. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of popular altcoins in the market that has a lot of potentials when it comes to long term investment like ETH, XRP, BCH, etc. but surely aside from popular tokens holding other altcoins has a very low chance to experience a price increase from the past years. I think it was just because of a lot of scams that happened and alt because of so many altcoins that are already created to the point that there was no demand for some of the other altcoins.

2790  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Cyptocurrency at Gaming industry on: February 24, 2020, 05:16:54 AM

I hate moba or any pvp motivated mmorpg.  If ever na may makita kayo na kaparehong tema (basta wag iyong text based RPG) I will highly appreciate kung maisishare nyo ang link dito or ipm sa akin.

2791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Clock on: February 24, 2020, 05:08:48 AM
You can add this link too:
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/

Although, I don't like they added BCH and BSV halving countdown too but they offer more data such as the current block, halving block, blocks remaining...
Added in the thread! thanks..

Since the bitcoin halving is near this clocks could be useful but no accurate or same clock I guess it is because it is in a different exchange or UTC.
2792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung Galaxy S20 Smart Phone will Support Bitcoin, Ethereum and TRON on: February 24, 2020, 03:54:47 AM
World Top Tech-giant Company Samsung has introduced the new flagship Samsung Galaxy S20 Smartphone, which will have a built-in crypto wallet.
It can be used to manage Bitcoin, Ethereum, other ERC20 tokens and TRON (TRX).

Source: https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/samsung-galaxy-s20-will-support-btc-eth-trx/
We know the hype of a build-in wallet in a Samsung surely having this wallet could be a great experience than just a normal wallet that you could download aside from optimization from the smartphone itself.

Having or support this popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin, Ethereum and TRON (TRX) is I think a good move from the developers of this phone surely a lot of users from the cryptocurrency community will be interested in buying this smartphone but I hope this is not just a hype for the community, but I hope they build a secured and awesome wallet that could be useful for a lot of people in the cryptocurrency community not just a promotion of the phone. But I think this is going to be a trend since the Samsung Company has a great reputation around the globe for sure they will trust this company in their financial management.

2797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 0.28 bitcoin to be in the 1% of richest bitcoin holder on: February 22, 2020, 04:00:21 PM
This is an interesting statistic to me.  1BTC doesn't seem like a hell of a lot, but you hqve to figure that only 21m people could possibly own that amount, out of billions of people in the world.  It's crazy to think that it would have been so much easier to achieve back in 2015 and earlier--it would have taken only a few hundred dollars at most.

Ah, how I wish I'd kept all the bitcoin I'd bought a few years ago.  I wouldn't exactly be wealthy, but I'd be well above average in terms of crypto holdings.
Totally agree, back in the days earning 1 bitcoin is much easier than today maybe scam projects and hacking from the past affect so much the method of earning bitcoin today making it difficult. Even in trading or doing signature campaigns earning a big amount of bitcoin would be easier way back 2015-2018.

Surely saving your bitcoins or holding your bitcoins is difficult for most of the people, Still we could see the adaptation of cryptocurrency compared to the past years even it becomes difficult for us to earn bitcoin these days.
2798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP ready to make an Epic rally... on: February 22, 2020, 01:37:48 PM
XRP breaching the resistance at 0.30$, the market price is moving between 0.25$ up to 0.30$ and sustaining the price at 0.27$

A lot of potential to this cryptocurrency also it is already one of the popular altcoins in the market. 200% is already possible at any point.
